Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between the influence of the use of audio visual media on PAI learning outcomes and students' character. Learning using audio visual media is learning where educators can more easily convey material that is difficult for students to understand, and can provide understanding, experience, train them to think, focus more on learning Islamic Religious Education and Character by referring to values and teachings. -Islamic teachings so that students have good behavior and get good grades in learning. Continuously develop learning media for themselves so that students do not get bored while learning. So learning using audio-visual media has the aim of helping and as a tool for transferring knowledge from educators to students who believe in Allah and carry out his commands in accordance with the values of Islamic teachings. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research and the research design is correlational. The research sample used a systematic sampling technique, namely using special criteria for a sample of 60 respondents. The data collection technique uses observation, questionnaires and documentation techniques, while the data analysis technique uses descriptive and inferential statistical techniques using SPSS version 24.0 software. (1) The results of this research indicate that the level of achievement of Audio Visual Media on Student Learning Outcomes in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education Subjects for Classes VIII J and VIII K at SMP Negeri 1 Banjaran has increased significantly. This is proven by the total score obtained of 0.992 or 99.2% of the set criteria. (2) PAI teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Banjaran often use audio visual media when providing Islamic Religious Education lesson material. (3) The use of audio-visual media on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education and Character subjects for classes VIII J and VIII K at SMP Negeri 1 Banjaran has a positive effect. This is proven by the results of the Pearson correlation test calculation of 0.505 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means the correlation between variable X (Audio Visual Media) and Variable Y (Student Learning Outcomes) with a moderate correlation value

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis strategi rekrutmen peserta didik baru pada jenjang SMA di Kota Bandung dalam perspektif Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptifanalitis dan studi kasus pada tiga jenis lembaga (SMA negeri, sekolah Islam swasta, dan madrasah), penelitian mengidentifikasi tiga model strategi dominan: model regulatifzonasi, model seleksi mandiri berbasis nilai Islam, dan model semi tradisional adaptif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa otonomi lembaga memungkinkan inovasi, seperti sistem PPDB daring yang meningkatkan transparansi, namun juga berpotensi memperlebar kesenjangan. Integrasi nilai-nilai PAI dalam seleksi, seperti melalui tes Baca Tulis Al-Qur'an, masih cenderung formalistik dan kognitif, belum menyentuh penilaian akhlak secara holistik. Kebijakan zonasi pemerintah menciptakan dualisme dan tantangan koordinasi, terutama bagi madrasah, yang memicu fenomena double registration. Kendala utama meliputi disparitas infrastruktur teknologi, sosialisasi yang tidak inklusif, dan intervensi politik. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model rekrutmen hybrid yang menyinergikan tata kelola digital dengan nilai-nilai substantif PAI. Secara praktis, disarankan peningkatan koordinasi kebijakan, investasi infrastruktur digital, perancangan mekanisme seleksi yang lebih holistik, dan sosialisasi inklusif melalui jaringan komunitas keagamaan.

Abstract

Kontras, perkembangan dunia digital saat ini mengkondisikan penggunanya hidup lebih individualistic sementara itu kodrat manusia sebagai makhluk sosial yang mengharuskan manusia bersosialisasi dengan lingkungannya. Program Healing Space yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa KKN Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung Kelompok 04 Pasir Wangi 2 Ujung Berung bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kesehatan mental masyarakat, khususnya remaja dan dewasa. Program ini dirancang untuk menyediakan ruang aman bagi peserta dalam mengekspresikan diri, mengelola emosi, serta mengurangi stigma terhadap permasalahan kesehatan jiwa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif dalam tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan utama meliputi meditasi di alam terbuka, refleksi diri, serta seni lukis sebagai media katarsis. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, dokumentasi, dan umpan balik peserta, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa program ini mampu memberikan dampak positif berupa rasa tenang, peningkatan penerimaan diri, ekspresi emosional yang sehat, serta terciptanya kebersamaan dan dukungan sosial. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga berhasil meningkatkan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap kesehatan mental dan mengurangi stigma yang masih ada. Healing Space merupakan pendekatan inovatif yang efektif dalam mendukung kesehatan mental berbasis komunitas. Pemberdayaan mahasiswa sebagai penggerak perubahan dan dukungan lingkungan menjadi faktor penting untuk keberhasilan, serta perlu dilanjutkan secara rutin agar manfaatnya berkelanjutan

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis relevansi teori konstruktivisme, khususnya perspektif Jean Piaget, dalam pengembangan pemikiran kritis dalam kurikulum Deep Learning. Pendidikan di abad ke-21 menuntut peserta didik tidak hanya menguasai pengetahuan, tetapi juga berpikir kritis, reflektif, dan kreatif dalam menyelesaikan masalah dunia nyata. Deep learning, sebagai pendekatan pendidikan, menekankan pemahaman konseptual yang mendalam, pembelajaran yang bermakna, dan kemampuan menghubungkan pengetahuan dengan konteks autentik daripada hafalan mekanis. Namun, dalam praktiknya, implementasi kurikulum Deep learning masih menghadapi tantangan, terutama dalam mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip konstruktivisme seperti pembelajaran berbasis masalah, eksplorasi langsung, dan pemikiran reflektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian perpustakaan dan analisis konten melalui tinjauan buku-buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan dokumen kebijakan yang relevan terkait konstruktivisme dan Deep Learning. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa teori konstruktivisme sangat selaras dengan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran mendalam, karena keduanya menekankan pembelajaran aktif, perkembangan kognitif dan metakognitif, serta pembentukan pengetahuan yang bermakna melalui pengalaman dan interaksi sosial. Studi ini juga menyoroti bahwa implementasi pembelajaran mendalam yang efektif memerlukan guru untuk bertindak sebagai fasilitator yang memberikan bimbingan, menciptakan lingkungan belajar kolaboratif, dan mendorong kemandirian siswa dalam belajar. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan kerangka kerja yang lebih efektif untuk mengintegrasikan teori konstruktivisme ke dalam kurikulum Pembelajaran Mendalam guna meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan kualitas belajar secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

The decline in teacher work motivation is a crucial problem in the implementation of education. An unsupportive work environment, excessive administrative demands, and low salaries and honorariums encourage teachers to perform dual roles, which ultimately have implications for the quality of performance and professionalism. This study aims to examine teacher work motivation in educational institutions through the perspective of Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory, which distinguishes between hygiene factors and motivator factors. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method through a review of books, scientific journals, and relevant academic articles. The results of the study indicate that hygiene factors, such as work environment conditions, school policies, compensation systems, and administrative workloads, have a dominant role in suppressing teacher job dissatisfaction. Meanwhile, motivator factors, which include recognition, professional responsibility, and opportunities for competency and career development, directly influence the sustainable improvement of teacher work motivation. This study concludes that increasing teacher work motivation can only be achieved through a strategic combination of fulfilling hygiene factors and strengthening motivator factors. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for educational institution managers in formulating policies to improve teacher motivation and performance comprehensively and sustainably.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a vital role in shaping students' character and knowledge. The limitation of PAI teaching hours in public schools is addressed by SMA ‘Aisyiyah Boarding School through kepesantrenan (Islamic boarding school-style) extracurricular activities, which include habitual worship and religious learning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of these activities, the PAI learning outcomes of Class X students, and their impact on improving learning outcomes. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study method, based on B.F. Skinner's behaviorism theory. Data were collected through observation, interviews (PAI teachers, extracurricular teachers, students, principal), and documentation studies (PAI scores). Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, verified through triangulation. The findings show: First, the implementation uses a behavioristic approach through structured activities, rewards, and positive discipline, successfully forming religious habits; Second, students' PAI learning outcomes improved, covering cognitive material mastery, affective value internalization, and psychomotor worship independence; Third, kepesantrenan extracurricular activities are proven to enhance PAI learning outcomes by creating a holistic learning environment that facilitates the understanding of PAI material.

Abstract

The quality of educational institutions is not solely determined by curriculum and facilities, but is significantly influenced by the quality of human resources, particularly teachers and educational staff. However, performance evaluations in many educational institutions tend to be administrative and result-oriented, often failing to optimally encourage professional behaviour changes. This article aims to analyze human resource performance evaluations in education as a solution to this issue from the perspective of Albert Bandura's Social Cognitive Theory. The theory suggests that individual behaviour is influenced by the reciprocal interaction between personal factors, and environment, thus performance evaluation should function not only as an evaluation tool but also as a learning process. This research adopts a qualitative approach through a literature review of relevant books and journal articles. The findings indicate that performance evaluations based on Social Cognitive Theory can enhance self-confidence, self-regulation skills, work motivation, and foster organizational learning through observation, reflection, and positive feedback. And also, this approach encourages teachers to internalize new skills, leading to a more adaptive and productive work environment. It also promotes a shift towards continuous professional development and improves collaboration among staff. Additionally, the theory-based evaluation model offers insights into individualized growth for teachers, making it a potent strategy for enhancing educational quality. This research recommends further empirical studies on the long-term impacts of Social Cognitive-based performance evaluations on institutional growth and teacher development.

Abstract

 Jiwa kepemimpinan merupakan salah satu topik yang selalu menarik untuk diteliti dan dikaji, karena paling banyak diamati sekaligus hal yang sedikit bisa dipahami. Yang menjadi masalah yaitu dinamika itu ke arah lebih baik atau malah mengalami kemunduran. Untuk mengatasi adanya kemunduran dibutuhkan upaya-upaya untuk mengantisipasinya, yaitu dengan adanya pendidikan kepemimpinan sejak dini. Fokus penelitian ini adalah latihan Hizbul Wathon dalam mengembangkan jiwa kepemimpinan melalui Latihan PBB, Tali-temali, Semafhore, Sandi morse dan Penjelajahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Program ekstrakulikuler Hizbul Wathon Di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Kota Bandung. 2) Mengetahui jiwa kepemimpinan siswa pada anggota Hizbul Wathon di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Kota Bandung. 3) Hasil implementasi jiwa kepemimpinan siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) kesimpulan Program ekstrakulikuler Hizbul Wathon kelas 8 SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Kota Bandung mencakup . a) Latihan PBB (pelaturan baris berbaris), b) Latihan tali-temali, c) Latihan semafhore d) latihan sandi morse, e) Latihan penjelajahan. 2) Jiwa kepemimpinan siswa kelas 8 SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Kota Bandung nampak baik. Hal tersebut dibentuk melalui pelaksanakan pelatihan PBB (pelaturan baris berbaris), Latihan tali temali, Latihan semafhore, Latihan sandi morse, dan Latihan penjelajahan. 3) Hasil implementasi jiwa kepemimpinan siswa kelas 8 SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Kota Bandung cukup baik. Hal tersebut ditunjukan dengan didapatkanya siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Kota Bandung yang setelah mengikuti pelatihan Hizbul Wathon lebih disiplin dalam memanfaatkan waktu, pelaksanaan pelatihan di sekolah dan luar sekolah lebih baik serta lebih menaati peraturan sekolah yang ada.

Abstract

The digital transformation in the 21st century has triggered disruptions in social interactions, leading to a decline in empathy and a character crisis among Generation Z students. This article aims to examine the relevance of Albert Bandura's Social Learning Theory in mitigating the negative impacts of digital isolation and optimizing the formation of prosocial behavior. Employing a qualitative approach, this study analyzes the principles of observation, imitation, and modeling within the context of contemporary character education, particularly through the Mentor Life Learning framework at the primary school level. The analysis reveals that overreliance on gadgets without collaborative management fosters individualistic attitudes that threaten the humanizing essence of education. Therefore, the application of Bandura's theory requires educators to transform into "digital models" and facilitators who consistently demonstrate ethical and moral values in both physical and virtual spaces. The utilization of educational technology must be integrated with meaningful social interactions and the inculcation of Islamic values. This study concludes that the synergy between prosocial modeling through digital media and the real-world environment, supported by multi-stakeholder collaboration, is essential to equip students with self-regulation and a robust spiritual foundation to navigate the moral complexities of the cyber era

Abstract

This article discusses an analysis of the causes of learning difficulties related to the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in case studies aged 13-15 years/junior high school students. The Merdeka Curriculum, which is implemented in Indonesia, aims to enable students to deepen adequate concepts and skills using a variety of intracurricular learning. However, its implementation still faces various challenges, one of which is learning difficulties, especially those experienced by junior high school students. This article examines how to analyze the causes of learning difficulties in the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum. Apart from that, this article also provides an explanation of the causes of learning difficulties experienced by junior high school students during the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum. Through this approach, it is hoped that it can overcome and also prevent other causes of learning difficulties, which may occur in junior high school students during the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum.
