Abstract

Long enough hemodialysis reduces the patient's enthusiasm for life so that it can affect adherence to the patient's dietary requirements. Diet non-compliance is a big problem, especially in hemodialysis patients. The impact of non-compliance can affect the quality of life of clients, and increasing healthcare costs can also affect compliance in undergoing hemodialysis therapy. therefore family support factors greatly affect the level of dietary adherence in patients. To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge analysis and family support with dietary adherence in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at Mayapada Hospital in Surabaya. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. Sampling technique with purposive sampling. The measuring tool in this study used a questionnaire. The data test used is the Logistic Regression Test. The results of the logistic regression analysis of knowledge and family support with dietary adherence showed a ρ-value of 0.143 and 0.132 respectively, which means there was no relationship between knowledge and family support with dietary compliance in patients undergoing hemodialysis at Mayapada Hospital. The conclusion is no relationship between knowledge analysis and family support with dietary adherence of patients undergoing hemodialysis at Mayapada Hospital. Education and counseling by health workers on the importance of family support in the form of instrumental support, informational support, emotional support, and appraisal support are needed.

Abstract

Prolonged or obstructed labor constitutes 8% of the causes of maternal mortality globally and is also the cause of fetal death. One of the causes of prolonged labor is maternal age and gravidity. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors of age and adolescence with the incidence of prolonged labor in the midwifery room of the Viqueque City Hospital, Tomor Leste. This study used an analytical research design with a cross sectional approach. The population was all women who gave birth for a long time in the midwifery room of the Viqueque City Hospital, Timor Leste, which could be 30 people. The sampling technique used accidental sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire and observation sheet. The data analysis used Chi Square statistical test. The results showed that more than half of the respondents (66.7%) aged 20-35 years were 20 respondents and more than half (53.3%) were multigravidas as many as 16 respondents, more than half (60%) did not occur during prolonged labor, namely as many as 18 respondents.Based on the results of statistical tests using Chi Square calculations, it is not known that no one knows it is 0.002 <0.05 so it can be shown that there is a relationship between the incidence of prolonged labor.Women with higher parity are at higher risk of prolonged labor because the uterus has weakened the uterine wall muscles due to a previous pregnancy. The solution that needs to be done regarding the results of the above research is to enable health education about the causes and risk factors for the old party to the mother by health workers and early detection of risk factors for prolonged labor must be improved.

Abstract

One of the causes of insufficient breast milk production is the lack of implementation of breast care and the mother's low interest in breastfeeding regularly. This study aims to determine the relationship between breast care and interest in breastfeeding with the smooth production of breast milk (ASI) in breastfeeding mothers at posyandu in the Mopah Baru Community Health Center Working Area, Merauke Regency in 2023. This research uses an analytical observational research design with a cross sectional approach. Using a purposive sampling technique, a sample of 36 respondents was obtained, the independent variable (the relationship between breast care and interest in breastfeeding) and the dependent variable (the smooth production of breast milk (ASI)) using a questionnaire. The Chi-Square statistical test was used to determine the relationship between the two variables. The results of research from 36 respondents showed that the majority of respondents did not perform breast care, namely 24 respondents (66.7%), the majority had a high interest in breastfeeding, namely 23 respondents (63.9%), and the majority of respondents had milk production. There were 21 respondents (58.3%) who were breastfeeding smoothly. Analysis using the Chi-Square statistical test found that there was a relationship between breast care and the smooth production of breast milk (ASI) in breastfeeding mothers at the posyandu in the Mopah Baru Community Health Center Working Area, namely p value = 0.000 < 0.05, and there was a relationship between interest in breastfeeding and the smooth production of water. Mother's milk (ASI) in breastfeeding mothers at the posyandu in the Mopah Baru Community Health Center Working Area is p value = 0.001 < 0.05. Proper breast care and a high interest in breastfeeding are related to the smooth flow of breast milk so that in order to produce breast milk more smoothly, it is necessary to carry out routine breast care and it is necessary to foster a high interest in breastfeeding. Therefore, it is hoped that breastfeeding mothers can routinely apply breast care and can foster a high interest in breastfeeding so that breast milk production runs smoothly.

Abstract

Each job has a potential hazard that can cause work accidents or diseases, one of which is the noise hazard that can cause an increase in blood pressure. To reduce the danger of noise induced, the workers can be using APT like earplug and earmuff. But in the preliminary study at PT. Pindad (Persero) noise generated by one machine reaches 98 dB (A) and almost the majority of workers don’t use APT. This research want to knowing influence of the noise intensity and compliance using early equipment (apt) on blood pressure on workers In pt. Pindad (persero) turen. The research design used analytic observational research using cross-sectional approach. Technique to determine the sample using non random method (non probability) sampling that is using purposive sampling technique. Its population is employees of PT. Pindad (Persero) with respondents of 30 respondents in the tooling. The result of this research is Signification value of noise variable to systole = 0,036 and 0,024 to blood pressure of diastole. Since the Sig is both <α (0.05) then there is an effect of noise intensity on blood pressure. While Signification the value of compliance variable to systole=0.714 and 0.370 for diastolic blood pressure. So it can be concluded that there is no relationship between adherence APT use with increased blood pressure. The compliance didn”t influence this blood pressure because the compliance using APT is no reduce the risk are negative from exposure to noise. While the exposure to noise high intensity led to an increase hormone cortisol so that led to increases in the blood pressure on workers after them work. To decrease it, beside the workers are obliged to use APD, better there there are strict sanctions fork the workers who don’t use APD
