Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in learning outcomes of integrated thematic learning using the talking stick cooperative model in V grade elementary school. This research is included in classroom action research using quantitative and qualitative approaches. In practice, this research was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle has stages of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of the study were all 20 students of class V at SDN 11 Batang Anai. In the first cycle, the lesson plan was observed with an average of 87.5% (B) and increased in the second cycle with a value of 95% (SB). The results of monitoring teacher activity in cycle I with an average of 80.5% (B) experienced an increase in cycle II, namely 94.44% (SB). Furthermore, student activity in cycle I with an average acquisition of 80.5% (B) and increased 94.44% (SB) in cycle II. While student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average value of 74, increasing in cycle II with an average value of 88. It can be concluded that the talking stick type cooperative model can improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class V of elementary school.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know correlations between problem-solving ability with mathematics learning result for 4th grade students at public elementary school 27 in Padang city for the 2017/2018 academic year. The type of this research is correlations. The population of the research is all 4th grade students of SD N 27 Sungai Sapih was 42 students, then 21 students as sample. The data analysis using simple linear regression analysis. the research result shows that correlation coefficient of 0,7036. in interval 0,70 ≤ r > 0,90 with a degree of strong or high corrrelations. It means 0,7036 have a strong or high  correlations. Then the result of significant correlation coefficient with α = 0,05 showed  and . Because . It means that  is accepted.Keywords: Problem Solving Ability; Learning Result.

Abstract

This study aims to describing the improvement of thematic learning process by using scientific approach in Grade 2 Elementary School of 12 Bukik Cangang at Bukittinggi cityi. This research used qualitative and quantitative approach. This research was classroom action research and had two cycles. The research subject was a teacher and 26 students of Grade II Elementary School of 12 Bukik Cangang Kota Bukittinggi.  The  study’s results shows the increasing in: Lesson plan of the first cycle is meeting 1 is 75%  (enaugh), meeting 2 is 81,25% (good),  and  the second  cycle meeting 1 is 97,22% (very  good). Teacher’s activities in first cycle meeting 1 is 65,63%  (enaugh), meeting 2 is 84,37% (good), the second cycle meeting 1 is 96,87% (very good). Student’s activities in first cycle meeting 1 is 56,25%  (less), meeting 2 is 81,25%  (good),  the  second  cycle meeting 1 is 93,75% (very good).the average of classin first cycle is 70,67, meeting 2 is 80,38, and the second cycle is 90,24. Therefore, the scientifict method can increase the integrated thematic learning at elementary school. Keywords : Integrated Thematic, Scientific Approach.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the research was to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in Civics learning with the Process Skill Approach in the fifth grade of SDN 10 Sungai Limau, Padang Pariaman Regency. This type of research is Class Action Research using a qualitative and quantitative approach with procedures for planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research instruments were in the form of observation sheets and items. Conducted in Semester II of 2017/2018 Academic Year. The research subjects were teachers as observers, researchers as practitioners, and fifth grade students as many as 15 students. The results of the first cycle of research on lesson plans averaged 80.35% (good), increased in the second cycle to 93% (very good). The implementation of the first cycle on the teacher aspect averaged 79.25% (enough), increased in the second cycle to 95.83% (very good). Implementation of the first cycle on the aspect of students on average 71% (sufficient), increased in the second cycle to 91.67% (very good). Student learning outcomes in the first cycle averaged 74 (enough), increased in the second cycle to 85 (good). It can be concluded the Skill Approach The process shows that it can improve student learning outcomes in science learning in schools Basic.Keywords: Process Skills Approach, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research is motivated by integrated thematic learning that has not been well implemented, still in the process of being perfected. The purpose of this study, to improve the integrated thematic learning process using the Discovery Learning model. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in the second semester of the 2019/2020 school year at SDN 22 Ujung Gurun Padang City. The results showed an increase in: (1) the learning plan that is cycle I gained a percentage of 81.25% (Good), cycle II obtained a percentage of 96.87% (Very Good). (2) the aspect of the first cycle teachers obtained a percentage of 86.94% (Good), the second cycle obtained a percentage of 96.875% (Very Good). (3) Aspects of students in cycle I obtained a percentage of 86.94% (Good), cycle II obtained a percentage of 96.875% (Very Good). (4) Knowledge and skill aspects of cycle I with an average of 81.07 increased in cycle II with an average of 88.19. It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model can improve the integrated thematic learning process in Elementary Schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase of the learning process by using the Problem Based Learning model on integrated thematic learning. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The study was conducted at SDN 22 Ujung Gurun Padang city. The results of the study aimed: (1) The evaluation of learning plans in cycle I  was 79.16% (good) then increased to 97.2% (very good) in cycle II. (2) Observations on the aspect of teacher cycle I  with a percentage of 81.24% (good) increased in cycle II  to 95.83% (very good). (3) Aspects of cycle I  students with a percentage of 81.24% (good) increased in cycle II  to 95.83% (very good). It can be concluded that the problem based learning model can improve the integrated thematic learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe an increase in student learning outcomes in science learning using the Cooperative Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model. This research is a classroom action research (PTK), using a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results showed an increase in: (a) Learning Planning in the first cycle obtained an average of 98.2% (SB) increased in the second cycle to 100% (SB), (b) Learning Implementation aspects of the teacher the first cycle obtained an average the average is 83.5% (B) increased in the second cycle to 100% (SB) and the Learning Implementation aspects of the first cycle students get an average of 85.5% (B) increased in the second cycle to 100% (SB), (c) Learning outcomes of students in cycle I obtained an average of 76.3 (B) increased in the second cycle to 81.2 (B). From the results of the study it can be concluded that the Cooperative Type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model improves the science learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of 02 Mungka Elementary School Kabupaten 50 Kota.Keywords : learning outcomes, TGT models

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning model in integrated thematic learning in class IV SDN 01 Campago Ipuh, Bukittinggi City. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were the teacher and 22 fourth grade students. Therefore, the Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes from integrated thematic learning. The result of observing the learning plan in cycle 1 were 83,33% and the second cycle was 97,22%. Teaher observation in cycle 1 was 82,81 and cycle II was 93,75. While the improvement of aspects of students in cycle I was 82,81 and cycle II was 93,75. While the average student learning outcomes in the aspects of knowledge are 81,25 to 92,09, and in the aspect of skills on average get 83,71 to 93,06

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of students' mathematics learningoutcomes in geometry using the CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning) approach in class IV SDN 15 Ampang Gadang in the 2018/2019 school year. This type of research is classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches.The subjects of the study were the teacher and 21 students of grade IV SDN 15 Ampang Gadang. The study was conducted in two cycles, cycle I two meetings and cycle II one meeting. This is evidenced by the results of cycle 1 research aspects of planning cycle I 79% (B) increased in cycle II to 94% (AB) an increase of 15%, aspects of the implementation of the first cycle teacher 82% (B)increased in cycle II to 96% ( AB) an increase of 14%, aspects of the action of students of the first cycle 82(B) increased in cycle II to 96% an increase of 14%, and learning outcomes of cycle I with an average of 73 (C) and cycle II increased to 88 (AB) an increase of 15.
