Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena kondisi di lapangan, budaya informal. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik analisis yaitu reduksi, display dan verifikasi. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan secara luas dan mendalam keefektifan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Jigsaw dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI). Kelas X MAS Tarbiyah Islamiyah Hamparan Perak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pokok komposisi fungsi. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw merupakan model pembelajaran kooperatif dimana siswa terlibat aktif dalam mendiskusikan suatu topik yang dibentuk dalam kelompok kecil beranggotakan 4-5 orang dengan memperhatikan heterogenitas, bekerja sama dan setiap anggota bertanggung jawab terhadap materi yang dipelajarinya. Mendapatkannya dari kelompok asal dan berperan aktif dalam menyampaikan materi kepada anggota kelompok lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dapat memberikan semangat belajar pada siswa, dapat meningkatkan kreativitas guru dan siswa. Diskusi kelompok membuat siswa lebih efektif dalam mempelajari dan mendiskusikan materi yang akan dibahas. Siswa juga menjadi lebih aktif dalam mencari literatur diskusi yang akan dibahas dalam diskusi kelompok. Diskusi kelompok ini juga memungkinkan siswa menyalurkan pemikirannya terhadap materi yang akan dibahas. Diharapkan kepada guru dapat menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dalam proses pembelajaran, karena melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Temuan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keefektifan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dikategorikan efektif dan dapat diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam.

Abstract

This study aimed to find an effective solution in improving learners' understanding of Islamic Religious Education through the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model. This case study was relevant because it can provide valuable insights into how to overcome students' learning difficulties and improve the quality of Islamic learning in high school education. The subject of this reseacrh was ten students who was taught by using the jigsaw learning strategy. The teachers conducted a curriculum analysis to determine the competency standards and basic competencies that would be delivered to students using this model. Students' learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Education were classified as Good, with an overall average percentage of 71 falling within the 66-79 interval. The improvement in student learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II suggested that the implemented improvements in teaching could address the challenges faced. The Jigsaw approach can enhance collaboration among students, allowing them to share knowledge and understanding of various aspects of Islamic Education. By dividing the lesson material into small parts, each student takes responsibility to understand and teach a specific part. The implication of this research underscores the importance of implementing appropriate learning approaches tailored to students' characteristics, such as Jigsaw, to enhance their understanding of PAI subjects, particularly for students facing learning difficulties.

Abstract

Religious education is one of the important issues that needs to be discussed because it is related to the way religious education is delivered in schools that often do not promote good multicultural education, and even tend to create divisions. The application of various learning methodologies and management is required as part of the endeavor to enhance Islamic learning outcomes. Jigsaw learning and its modified forms have been utilized in educational contexts more frequently than other cooperative learning methodologies because of its potential. This type of research is literature review research or literature study. Through library research, this study used a descriptive qualitative methodology and the literature study method. The Jigsaw method or type is a cooperative learning method by which students learn in small groups of four to six people heterogeneously. Students work together in positive interdependence and are independently responsible. In this learning, students also have many opportunities to express their opinions and can improve communication skills. The initial jigsaw method's adoption was successful in raising students' involvement in Islamic religious education learning in a number of ways, as seen by the findings. Students felt more engaged and proactive in the learning process when given structured group assignments. These results should help teachers make the best decision when it comes to teaching character education, particularly when it comes to developing mutual respect.

Abstract

Penanaman nilai-nilai akhlakul karimah merupakan aspek fundamental dalam pendidikan Islam yang harus diwujudkan melalui berbagai aktivitas di lingkungan madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya pembiasaan akhlakul karimah dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di MA Tarbiyah Islamiyah Hamparan Perak. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan akhlakul karimah dilakukan melalui integrasi nilai-nilai akhlak dalam materi pelajaran, keteladanan guru, pembiasaan ucapan dan perilaku sopan, serta penguatan melalui kegiatan keagamaan seperti tadarus, salat berjamaah, dan nasihat harian. Faktor pendukung dalam proses ini adalah lingkungan madrasah yang religius serta keterlibatan aktif guru dan orang tua. Namun, ditemukan juga tantangan seperti perbedaan latar belakang siswa dan kurangnya pengawasan di luar jam sekolah. Secara keseluruhan, pembiasaan akhlakul karimah di MA Tarbiyah Islamiyah Hamparan Perak telah berjalan cukup efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

Education is a political sphere that stands and operates based on political decisions; no exception whether it is a government or private educational institution. Jami'atul Washliyah is one of the organizations that nuances religioous and cannot be separated from the political dimension in the context of education. This paper is based on historical studies through library research. The Islamic organization known as Jami'atul al-Washilyah where its preaching especially in North Sumatra played a very important role mainly through education. One strategy used to spread Islam (Islamic da'wah) uses the term "zending" which is generally used by invaders in spreading their religion, Christianity. So in the context of Islamic da'wah using the term "Zending Islam" was first used by al-Washliyah as its da'wah strategy in the midst of a predominantly non-Muslim population such as in Porsea.

Abstract

The quality of Islamic education in madrasahs still faces challenges such as low teacher discipline, suboptimal infrastructure, and minimal community involvement. This study aims to analyze the strategies of madrasah principals in developing the quality of Islamic education through strategic planning, teacher competency development, and parent and community involvement. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that quality planning is carried out through annual meetings with the foundation, teachers, and staff, and then implemented through the ERKAM application. To improve teacher competencies, the madrasah principal conducts supervision, motivation, and training guidance, although some teachers are still found to be undisciplined. Facility development is carried out through planning, utilization, and maintenance, but some facilities are still incomplete. Community relations are quite good, as indicated by participation in madrasah activities. Parent involvement also supports the achievement of educational quality. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of participatory and quality-oriented leadership in promoting the overall progress of madrasahs.

Abstract

The challenges of modernity have eroded spiritual values in Islamic education, so a classroom management strategy is needed that balances academic achievement and religious character building. This research examines religious classroom management innovations in improving the quality of student learning at Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Tarbiyah Islamiyah. The focus is on the school's innovative strategies in creating a religious learning atmosphere, conducive, and supportive of students' character and academic development. The research method uses a phenomenological qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results show that spiritual-based classroom management through the integration of Islamic values, worship habits, and strengthening the spiritual relationship between teachers and students can create a positive and meaningful learning environment. This strategy has an impact on improving discipline, learning motivation, and academic achievement. The findings corroborate Vygotsky's social constructivism theory that emphasizes the importance of social and cultural interactions in learning, as well as Islamic education theory that places spirituality at the core of forming a whole person.

Abstract

Memorizing the Qur'an often faces challenges related to the diversity of students' learning styles. Each individual has a different way of learning, which is caused by differences in intelligence types. Therefore, an approach that accommodates this diversity of intelligence is important in learning, one of which is the Multiple Intelligences approach developed by Howard Gardner. This approach emphasizes that every individual possesses various types of intelligence that can be optimized, such as linguistic intelligence, musical intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, and intrapersonal intelligence. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Multiple Intelligences approach in Qur'an memorization learning, focusing on the potential application, strategies, and challenges faced in its implementation. The method used is a qualitative case study approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of learning strategies tailored to students' dominant intelligences has a positive impact on improving Quran memorization. The implications of this study suggest that the Multiple Intelligences approach can enhance Quran memorization outcomes and students' learning motivation, consistent with Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalisasi metode transliterasi dalam pembelajaran Al-Quran di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Amaliyah Sunggal. Metode transliterasi yang efektif dapat memfasilitasi pemahaman dan kemampuan membaca Al-Quran bagi siswa yang tidak memiliki latar belakang bahasa Arab yang kuat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari guru Al-Quran, siswa, dan administrasi sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode transliterasi yang digunakan saat ini belum sepenuhnya efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca Al-Quran siswa. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi ketersediaan materi transliterasi yang tidak sesuai dengan level kebutuhan siswa dan kurangnya pelatihan guru dalam mengimplementasikan metode ini secara efektif. Berdasarkan temuan ini, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan materi transliterasi yang lebih komprehensif dan pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk guru dalam teknik transliterasi. Diharapkan dengan optimasi metode transliterasi ini, pembelajaran Al-Quran di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Amaliyah Sunggal dapat lebih efektif dan meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran serta penguasaan Al-Quran di kalangan siswa.

Abstract

This research explores effective opening and closing skills in the context of Islamic Religious Education at Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Amaliyah Sunggal. The method used in this research is qualitative while data collection through observation, interview and document study. The purpose of this study was to explore the skills of opening and closing an effective lesson at the private madrasah aliyah Amaliyah Sunggal. The results showed that opening the lesson involved the use of prayer, brief motivation, and linking the material to real life, while effective closing included summarizing the material, reflection, and prayer. The study also found that the use of inspirational stories and reflective questions significantly increased students' curiosity and activeness in learning. The use of varied and innovative learning methods, including information technology and interactive learning media, is key in improving the quality and effectiveness of learning. The challenges teachers face in implementing these skills include variations in learning methods, student understanding and awareness, integration of Islamic values, and limited resources.
