Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Mimicry-Memorization (MIM-MEM) Method on EFL Young Learners’ Vocabulary Mastery at SDIT AL-AHSAN Seluma. This research uses Quasi-Experiment method with Time Series design. The researcher decided to conduct an experiment in class 5 with a total of 27 students. In the process of collecting data, the researcher conducted a pretest and posttest three times. From the results of this study, the students’ average pretest score was 77.33 and the posttest average was 90.81, which means that the posttest score was higher than the pretest score. So it can be concluded that the application of the Mimicry-Memorization (MIM-MEM) method has a significant effect on EFL Young Learners’ Vocabulary Mastery

Abstract

In delivering religious treatises such as Friday sermons, it is not only the duty of preachers, preachers, or clerics, but anyone has the right to remind each other in nahi munkar actions, including Islamic Religious Education Students. In essence, it is true that PAI students are forged to become professional teachers. But in the social context, the general public doesn't care about that, so like it or not, PAI students must be able to become preachers. In fact, not all students are able to become reliable preachers, this is due to the lack of students' linguistic intelligence, especially in delivering Friday sermons. The purpose of this study was to determine the linguistic intelligence of students in delivering Friday sermons, describe obstacles/obstacles and describe things that students must improve or improve regarding their linguistic intelligence in delivering Friday sermons at the mosque in Selebar District, Bengkulu City. This study uses a qualitative approach, field studies and qualitative descriptive methods. The result of this study is that the linguistic intelligence of students in delivering Friday sermons at the Selebar Subdistrict mosque, Bengkulu City is quite good. This is marked by the courage to deliver Friday sermons, the sermons delivered have met the requirements and pillars, even though students do not have high self-confidence, and the delivery of sermons is still often stammered or has the impression of being in a hurry. But besides all that, over time, the researcher believes and believes that the student will be really good at being a Friday preacher.

Abstract

This study deals with the teachers’ talk of the EFL classroom of SMA Pancasila Bengkulu. It aims to describe the types of speech functions used by English teachers in the EFL classroom of SMA Pancasila Bengkulu, to find out the most dominant type used by English teachers in EFL classes at SMA Pancasila Bengkulu, and to describe the reasons why English teachers use speech function differently in EFL classroom. This thesis research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative. Researchers used triangulation data collection techniques, namely observation, audiovisual material, and interviews. Data transcription is classified into six basic types of speech function. There are expressive, directive, referential, metalinguistic, poetic, and phatic. The researcher observed two English teachers at SMA Pancasila Bengkulu. From the two teachers observed, the researcher found different total utterances and percentages. The total utterances of the two teachers were 80 utterances classified into six types of speech functions. The most dominant type used by all teachers is the referential function. There are 28 utterances out of 80 utterances (35%) which are classified as referential functions. Why they use the speech function differently is because each type of speech function has a different function that must be adapted to different conditions and situations in the classroom.

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to discover and describe seventh-grade students' attitudes toward EFL learning at SMPN 28 Seluma. When a student participates in class, he exhibits certain behaviors. The descriptive-quantitative method was used in this study. This study's population consisted of 41 students in seventh grade. A quota sampling technique was used to collect samples from 41 students. A questionnaire about student responses was used to collect data in this study. A positive questionnaire with 15 items and a negative questionnaire with 15 items comprise the questionnaire. The results of data analysis based on the questionnaire showed an average value of 73.215, meaning that students had a positive attitude towards EFL learning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam upaya meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dasar pada siswa kelas I SD Terpadu Islam. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penulis melakukan wawancara dengan berbagai narasumber, antara lain guru SD Al-Qiswah Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu dan siswa kelas I. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru sebagai penyelenggara, mediator, fasilitator, guru, pembimbing, motivasi, dan evaluator berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dasar siswa kelas I SD Islam Terpadu Al-Qiswah. Ada juga faktor pendukung bagi guru dalam upaya mengembangkan keterampilan membaca dasar siswa kelas I SD Islam Terpadu Al-Qiswah, seperti sarana, prasarana, keluarga, dan guru yang sering membiasakan siswa dengan kegiatan literasi membaca sebelum memulai. belajar setiap pagi, serta faktor penghambat yang dihadapi guru dalam upaya meningkatkan keterampilan. Abstract

Pada umumnya banyak gaya bahasa yang digunakan dalam penulisan slogan penjualan produk dan jasa di koran untuk menarik minat baca konsumen agar tertarik dengan produk yang ditawarkan. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini ialah apa saja gaya bahasa, makna yang terkandung dan fungsi bahasa slogan dalam penjualan produk dan jasa di koran Radar Bengkulu edisi April-Juni 2022. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk, makna dan fungsi bahasa slogan dalam penjualan produk dan jasa di koran Radar Bengkulu. Jenis Penelitian Ini adalah penelitian pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode contentanalysis (analisis isi). Sumber data berupa slogan penjualan produk dan jasa di koran Radar Bengkulu. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik amati, analisis dan tarik kesimpulan. Intrumen penelitian adalah human instrumen. Hasil menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat sebanyak sebanyak 35 slogan iklan yang mengandung makna gaya bahasa. Gaya bahasa yang digunakan diantaranya adalah 7 gaya bahasa hiperbola, 21 gaya bahasa pertanyaan retoris, 1 gaya bahasa aliterasi, 5 gaya bahasa metafora, dan 1 gaya bahasa repetisi. Serta makna semantiknya yaitu 8 makna kias, 14 makna denotatif, dan 13 makna leksikal. Serta 20 slogan yang memiliki fungsi informatif (informasi) dan 15 gaya slogan yang memiliki fungsi direktif (mengajak)

Abstract

This study aims to determine students’ perceptions of Cooperative Learning with Think-Pair-Share strategy in teaching English speaking. The method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative study. The sample consisted of the second-grade students in MTs Al-Qur’an Harsallkum from classes E and F consisting of 42 students. The census sampling technique was used in this study. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, namely a closed questionnaire that distribute to the respondents. The result of this study shows that the students were interested in learning English speaking by using small group work of Think-Pair-Share strategy type of Cooperative learning, it shows off the result of this study indicates that this strategy can increase their pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency in speaking English, and their comprehension of English in general students have positive perceptions about the use of Cooperative Learning with the Think-Pair-Share strategy in teaching English speaking with the total mean score was 96.38..

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah agar dapat mengetahui hubungan antara strategi membaca dengan kemampuan memahami teks bacaan pada siswa kelas IX di MTsN 1 kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode stastistik korelasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, angket, tes yang sampelnya berjumlah 32 sampel, analisis product moment. Dari kegaiatan penelitian maka diperoleh hasil penelitian yang perhitungannya dengan SPSS V.22, yang kemudian didapatkan t_hitung 9,674 dengan t_tabel 2,042, yang dimana variabel strategi membaca dikategorikan kedalam tingkatan sedang dengan peresentase 62,5% dan variabel kemampuan memahami teks bacaan dikategorikan kedalam tingkatan sedang dengan peresentase 56,25%. Maka dari perhitungan hasil strategi membaca dengan kemampuan memahami teks bacaan didapatkan nilai sebesar 0,870, pada tabel interprestasi nilai “r” termasuk kedalam kategori tinggi, setelah selesai dilakukan analisis product moment kemudaian selanjutnya dilakukan uji t untuk mengetahi tingkat signifikansi korelasinya. Dari perhitungan uji t diperoleh t_hitung 9,674 dengan taraf signifikansi 5% maka diperoleh nilai t_tabel 2,042. Oleh karena t_hitung > t_tabel yaitu 9,674 > 2,042 maka dalam penelitian ini Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan dari hasil analisis secara signifikan terdapat hubungan antara strategi membaca dengan kemampuan memahami teks bacaan pada siswa di MTsN 1 kota Bengkulu

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan suatu bentuk analisis terhadap buku ajar yang menjadi acuan dalam proses pembelajaran peserta didik berdasarkan kurikulum yang diberlakukan. Pemilihan buku ajar perlu melihat dan mempertimbangkan berbagai segi yang wajib memenuhi empat unsur kelayakan, yaitu kelayakan isi, kelayakan penyajian, kelayakan kebahasaan, dan kelayakan kegrafikan. Seperti halnya, buku teks pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti Kelas VII ini telah mengalami beberapa tahap revisi dikarenakan terjadinya kesalahan beberapa unsur, diantaranya kesalahan redaksional, pembaharuan KD dan penambahan materi. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengetahui layak-tidaknya buku teks pelajaran yang ditinjau dari segi isi atau konten materi, khususnya. Pertanyaan yang ingin dijawab melalui penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kelayakan isi buku ajar Pendidikan Agama Islam Kelas VII SMP Penulis Muhammad Ahsan, Sumiyati, dan Mustahdi berdasarkan empat dimensi kelayakan isi buku teks? Jenis pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kepustakaan (Library Research) melalui metode dokumentasi dengan tehnik analisisnya yaitu analisis isi, analisis ini dilakukan secara sistematis dan logis dimulai dari membaca dan menelaah seluruh data. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan kelayakan isi buku yang ditinjau dari empat dimensi yaitu dimensi spiritual, sosial, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Jika dirinci secara persentase dimensi spiritual 89%, dimensi sosial 97%, dimensi pengetahuan 81%, dan dimensi keterampilan 90%. Hasil analisis data ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa kelayakan isi telah akurat untuk digunakan dalam penilaian kelayakan isi buku teks pelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of organizational learning in the post-covid-19 pandemic listening class at SMPN8 Kaur. This study uses a qualitative description method with an observation, interview, and documentation design. The researcher decided to conduct an interview with the eighth grade English teacher with two English teachers. From the results of the study, it was found that the English teacher at SMPN 8 Kaur had not implementation organizational learning in the listening class because the teacher in English at SMPN 8 Kaur had their own method of teaching. So, it can be concluded that the implementation of organizational learning in the listening class has not been applied by the teacher.
