Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation of the management of the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School in detail and thoroughly from the research subjects on the background of the study with existing characteristics. The case in this study is the application of management in the field of education which includes curriculum management, student management (students), personnel/member management, management of educational facilities and infrastructure, financial management, management of school relations with the community, and management of special services. This research uses a phenomenological qualitative approach with a case study design at the Kuala Lumpur Indonesia School located at No. 1, Lorong Tun Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which consists of elementary, junior high, and high school. Data collection techniques are through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection techniques with triangulation, data analysis is inductive, and the results of qualitative research emphasize meaning rather than generalization. Based on the analysis of the data it was found that the supporting factors were that the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School was already running and giving a good role in the implementation of the cultural diplomacy function in Malaysia and the School Financial Management was running well. When teachers whose contracts have expired and must return to Indonesia while substitute teachers have not yet arrived. In student management there is a problem of residence visas, teaching teachers not in accordance with the educational background result in professional competence.

Abstract

The process of developing, becoming self-reliant, self-supporting, and increasing the bargaining position of lower-class groups so that they can become a pressing force in society is known as community empowerment. If community empowerment program participants understand and can perform everything that has been presented in the empowerment program, the empowerment program can run effectively and efficiently. The empowerment program must be evaluated for the program's aims and objectives to be further developed, continued, or even discontinued. This research used the CIPP evaluation model developed by Huberman. The results found that the empowerment program provided many benefits for migrants workers from preventing them back to work as migrant workers abroad but it was also found that some of them go back to work as migrant workers as the business built as a result of the empowerment program did not run as expected.

Abstract

Management of educational facilities and infrastructure will have an impact on the optimal, effective, and efficient implementation of educational activities in schools. SMAN 71 Jakarta is known for its lush and comfortable environment, as well as adequate facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of education in the school. Therefore, this research aims to determine how the management of educational facilities and infrastructure is conducted in SMAN 71 Jakarta. This study is a qualitative research using a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this research are conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, known as data triangulation. Interviews were conducted with eight informants related to the management of educational facilities and infrastructure in the school. Furthermore, data analysis techniques in this research are carried out through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that SMAN 71 Jakarta has implemented seven main functions of management of educational facilities and infrastructure, namely planning, procurement, distribution, inventory, maintenance, storage, and disposal, quite well although there are still some challenges in its implementation.

Abstract

Abstract: Improving Work Engagement Through Compensatory Satisfaction and Psychological Well-Being. Objecticves: This study aims to identify the effect of compensation and psychological well-being on work engagement for private elementary school teachers during the pandemic. Methods: This study employed a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The data retrieval technique used a Instrument developed from the utrech work engagement scale, a ryff psychological well-being scale and a compensation scale. Sample selection was done by using purposive cluster sampling technique. Research sampel is 408 teachers of private elementary schools in Karawang Regency. Findings: The results of this study confirm that: (1) Compensation had a significant effect on teachers work engagement, (2) Psychological well-being had a significant effect on teachers work engagement, and (3) Compensation and psychological well-being simultaneously affected teachers work engagement by 50.6%. Conclusions: It is concluded that work engagement is influenced by compensation and psychological well-being. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and describe comprehensively the influence of organizational culture and work environment on the work effectiveness of public high school teachers in Central Jakarta. This research was conducted at a public high school in Central Jakarta. This research method uses quantitative research survey methods, as for analyzing the data using path analysis. The path analysis technique in this study is to determine the causal relationship between variables or the direct influence of exogenous variables on endogenous variables. The endogenous variables in this study are work effectiveness, while the exogenous variables in this study are organizational culture and work environment. Data was collected through filling out a questionnaire. Based on the calculation results obtained path analysis: 1) organizational culture has a direct effect on the effectiveness of teachers' work with a path coefficient value of 0.728 and tcount of 15.510, meaning that organizational culture has a positive direct influence on the effectiveness of teachers' work, which can be accepted increasing. A good organizational culture increases the effectiveness of teachers' work. 2) the direct effect of the work environment on the effectiveness of the teacher's work, the path coefficient is 0.699 and tcount is 14,277. That is, the work environment has a direct effect on the effectiveness of the teacher's work. 3) Organizational culture has a direct positive effect on the work environment with a path coefficient value of 0.671 and tcount 13,218.

Abstract

Kinerja guru merupakan salah satu faktor kunci dalam menentukan kualitas pendidikan. Guru yang berkualitas merupkan guru yang mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inspiratif dan mendukung, sehingga siswa termotivasi untuk belajar dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam proses pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis factor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja guru. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif, populasi guru sekolah dasar negeri di kecamatan Ciomas dengan sempel 101 guru. Teknik analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial atau uji hipotesis yaitu korelasi dan regresi, dan teknis analisis data kualitatif meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan Intrumen yang digunakan berupa angket. Hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat pengaruh positif dengan nilai regresi Y = 18,452 + 0,546 + 0,451 dan koefisien korelasi antara pembelajaran berkelanjutan terhadap kinerja guru 0.654 dengan R square sebesar 0. 427 dalam artian memiliki pengaruh 42,7%, koefisien korelasi antara profesionalisme terhadap kinerja guru 0.649 dengan R square sebesar 0. 421 dalam artian memiliki pengaruh 42,7%, koefisien korelasi antara pembelajaran berkelanjutan terhadap profesionalisme 0.818 dengan nilai R square sebesar 0. 669 dalam artian memiliki pengaruh 66,9% koefisien determinasi memiliki nilai R square sebesar 0,469 dalam arti arti bahwa pengaruh variabel pembelajaran berkalanjutan (X1) dan Profesionalisme (X2) secara simultan terhadap kinerja guru (Y) sebesar 46,9%.

Abstract

Despite the significant role of higher education research and innovation, the quality management of such aspects in our local universities can be further transformed and better integrated with national development. This research identifies the many challenges regarding quality research management faced by many universities in Indonesia, particularly related to research and innovation. In response to such challenges, the study exhibits a comprehensive evaluation of the formulation and performance of university research policy plans and programs, examining the critical impact of Universitas Indonesia’s (UI) performance of its research policy and strategic plan. The result indicates that the performance of UI’s global research quality management policy has shown optimized, efficient, and effective outcomes. The policy has impacted Indonesia’s science, technology, and social development in line with the strategic plan, quality management, and good university governance. This study may inform higher education management on synergizing research policy and programs within the organization’s strategic plan toward global science and technology competitiveness in higher education.

Abstract

PMM (Platform Merdeka Mengajar) merupakan pemanfaatan platform digital yang dirancang untuk mendukung guru dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka, meningkatkan kompetensi profesional, serta memperluas akses terhadap sumber daya pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain fre eksperimen teknik analisis data menggunakan studi dokumen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Ciomas. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas didapatkan hasil 0,206 dan uji homogenitas didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,725 yang berarti data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh anatara variabel (X) dengan (Y) dilihat dari nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,412 mengandung arti 41,2% kekatifan guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Ciomas dalam menggunakan (PMM) dipengaruhi oleh pembinaan. Peran pengawas dan guru penggerak sangat penting dalam mendukung implementasi PMM, dan kolaborasi antara semua elemen pendidikan diperlukan untuk mencapai keberhasilan Kurikulum Merdeka, dan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif dipandang sebagai sebuah tantangan. Sebab sekolah perlu mempersiapkan banyak hal untuk melayani semua kebutuhan peserta didik dan melakukan perubahan yang signifikan terhadap program pendidikan yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan upaya pemerintah dalam memenuhi kebutuhan GPK melalui program Bimbingan Teknis yang diselenggarakan melalui Kemendikdasmen. Hal ini perlu disajikan dengan tujuan memberikan gambaran umum, bagaimana pemerintah berupaya untuk menaikkan kualitas Sekolah Penyelenggara Pendidikan Inklusif (SPPI). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Untuk mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan, penulis menggunakan pengambilan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa program “Bimtek Pemenuhan Guru Pembimbing Khusus” yang terdiri dari dua tahapan, yaitu tahap pemahaman konsep dan tahap penguasaan keterampilan telah meluluskan 12.114 GPK di seluruh Indonesia. Peserta yang mengikuti Bimtek tersebut merupakan guru yang bukan berlatar belakang dari Pendidikan Khusus. Melalui program ini, ketersediaan GPK di Indonesia saat ini bertambah menjadi 23.611 GPK, dengan kekurangannya mencapai 18.654 GPK. Dengan kata lain, ketersediaan GPK saat ini mencapai 55,90% atau sekitar 56%. Upaya yang dilakukan ini secara nyata mampu memenuhi sebagian kebutuhan GPK. Meskipun begitu, masih terdapat permasalahan lain mengenai regulasi dan sekolah inklusi yang kurang mendukung eksistensi GPK.
