Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the cause of the incidence of early pregnancy recording in Bengkulu Tengah Regency. This study used a qualitative approach by revealing informants as many as 7 people using Purposive Sampling techniques in Central Bengkulu District. The latest information obtained is analyzed. Informants married early because there were no other activities after graduating from school, not understood from getting married, wanting to have a mate, not being a parent, there was encouragement from parents. Public media is used as a communication tool, to determine the date of dating. Environmental factors are the reason for informants to marry early in the morning, assuming marriage at an early age is normal. Lack of attention and sensitivity of parents to the problems being experienced by children due to busy working on plantations. The desire of oneself is also a factor of choice for informants to get married at an early age. The relationship between the KUA, the Health Office, the Education Office to provide assistance to the families of prospective teenagers and adolescents. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of health education with audio-visual methods on knowledge, attitudes, and frequency of consumption of street food in students of SDN 52 Kota Bengkulu in 2018. This type of prospective experimental research is Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The statistical test results obtained p-value 0.002 for knowledge variables, 0.225 for attitudes and 0.84 for frequency. In conclusion, there is a difference in the average knowledge before and after being given audio-visual education. There was no difference in the average attitude and frequency of consumption of snacks before and after being given audio-visual education at 52 Elementary Schools in Bengkulu City. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of the use of touch and talk Educational Game Tools (APE) and the skill play of playing snakes and ladders to reduce anxiety levels of pre-school age children. This research method is a quantitative study with a quasy experimental design of two groups pretest-posttest design. The results obtained in the Touch and Talk Educational Game Tool (APE) group before the intervention had an average anxiety score of 31.62 and after being given the intervention it was 17.31 with a p-value of 0.000, the group playing snake and ladder had an average The score of anxiety before being given intervention was 31.56 and after being given the intervention it was 24.38 with a p-value of 0.000. The statistical test results obtained p value 0.001 <alpha (0.05). In conclusion, there is a difference between the APE touch and talk group and the snake and ladder playing skill group to reduce the anxiety level of pre-school children. Abstract

This study aims to determine the patient's perception of the quality of service at the Harapan and Doa Hospital in Bengkulu City during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research design used was quantitative using a cross-sectional design. Overall, the results showed that the patient's perception of the five dimensions of service quality was still not good, namely 57.1% reliability, 63.8% responsiveness, 56.2% assurance, 50.5% empathy, and 55.2% physical evidence. The results of the chi-square test showed that there was a significant effect between age (p-value = 0.001) , gender (p-value = 0.001), education (p-value = 0.001), occupation (p-value = 0.001) on patients' perceptions of quality. service. In conclusion, most of the respondents stated that the Outpatient Polyclinic of Harapan and Doa Hospital Bengkulu City was still not good. There was an influence of age, gender, education, and occupation on patients' perceptions of service quality. Keywords: Satisfaction, Quality, Pandemic, Perception

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in knowledge of household clean and healthy behavior in an effort to create a healthy family at the UPTD Puskesmas Kuala Lemruban, Bengkulu City. This research method is a descriptive study with a cross sectional design. The results of the research on health education at the pre-test were 57.69 and the mean post-test was 74.62 with a p-value of 0.000. In conclusion, there is a significant effect of health education on Clean and Healthy Life Behavior in UPTD Puskesmas Kuala Lemruban, Bengkulu City. Abstract

Background: The highest coverage of exclusive breastfeeding data from Bengkulu City Health Office was Nusa Indah Public Health Center (86.9%) and the lowest was Lingkar Barat Public Health Center (63.8%).Objective: The research objective is to determine the implementation of exclusive breastfeeding programs seen from the input, process, output in the city of Bengkulu in 2018.Methods: This was an observational analytic study with a qualitative approach. The informants consisted of nutrition workers, midwives, health promotor, heads of Public helath center and mothers who participated in the exclusive breastfeeding program at the puskesmas. This research was carried out in both Bengkulu City Health Center, starting from July to August 2019. Data analysis was done by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and verification.Results: The study showed that the executors of the exclusive ASI program consisted of nutrition workers, midwives and promkes, using BOK funds, material on exclusive breastfeeding, tools in the form of infant pantom, breast pantom, breast milk, with counseling, counseling and IMD methods. The implementation process is Exclusive ASI socialization, formation and guidance of ASI Suport group. Implementation with counseling, and counseling. Control by looking at data obtained from posyandu.Conclusion: The Nusa Indah Puskesmas has been successful because the ASI support group has played an active role in assisting the implementation of the Exclusive ASI program, while the West Lingkar Puskesmas was not successful because the officers did indeed obtain real data in the field.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19  yang menyerang dunia telah membawa banyak perubahan di masyarakat termasuk anak-anak yang merupakan kelompok rentang tertular virus ini. Berbagai bentuk pencegahan telah dilakukan yakni dengan terus menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Masih rendahnya pemahaman dan kesadaran anak akan bahaya dan pencegahnnya, membuat mereka seolah mengabaikan penerapan protokol kesehatan termasuk saat di sekolah sehingga membuat penyelenggaran pendidikan merasa kewalahan dalam melakukan pengawasan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan anak usia dini untuk tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan dalam mencegah Covid-19 di Taman Kanak-Kanak Islam Integral Darul Fikri dengan metode sosialisai langsung dan demonstrasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak memahami bagaimana cara mencegah tertular Covid-19, mampu memakai masker serta mencuci tangan dengan benar. Pihak sekolah maupun orang tua diharapkan tetap melakukan pengawasan dan mengingatkan anak dalam penerapan protokol kesehatan dan pembiasaan pola hidup baru.Kata kunci: Anak, Covid-19, Edukasi

Abstract

Kota Bengkulu merupakan daerah rawan terhadap bencana alam gempa bumi. Januari hingga Februari 2020 tercatat 168 kali gempa mengguncang Provinsi Bengkulu. Pendidikan dan pelatihan mitigasi merupakan langkah antisipasi yang perlu disiapkan bagi masyarakat di Kota Bengkulu, terutama pada anak sekolah, sebab anak- anak merupakan kelompok rentan dan paling berisiko terkena dampak bencana. dikarenakan keterbatasan pemahaman terhadap risiko yang ada di sekitar mereka. SMKS 9 Muhammadiyah Kota Bengkulu  berada pada wilayah rawan bencana yaitu kelurahan Kebun Kenanga degan jarak ± 2 KM dari bibir pantai. Dengan keadaan tersebut seharusnya dijadikan sebagai salah satu Pilot Project sekolah yang disiagakan dalam menghadapi keadaan bencana di kota Bengkulu, namun SMKS 9 Muhammadiyah Kota Bengkulu ini belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan apapun dari pihak manapun. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di SMKS 9 Muhammadiyah Bengkulu menggunakan metode observasi, pendidikan dan pelatihan. Observasi dilakukan menentukan titik-titik pemasangan tanda-tanda jalur evakuasi dan titik berkumpul sementara, pendidikan kesiapsiagaan menghadapi bencana gempa di sekolah dan pelatihan Bantuan Hidup Dasar (BHD)/Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) serta perawatan luka sederhana kepada korban bencana gempa bumi. Setelah dilakukan pengabdian masyarakat, adanya peningkatan pemahaman, pengetahuan dan kesiapsiagaan siswa dan guru SMKS 9 Muhammadiyah Bengkulu dalam menghadapi bencana gempa di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence early marriage in Air Rami District, Mukomuko Regency. This research method is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional study approach. The results showed that the factors that influence early marriage in Air Rami District, Mukomuko Regency include knowledge (p = 0.000), attitude (p = 0.004), parents' income (p = 0.001), exposure to information media (p = 0.901), the influence of peers (p = 0.569), the role of parents (p = 0.000), the number of family members (p = 0.039), while the factor that did not affect early marriage in Air Rami District, Mukomuko Regency was exposure to information media (p = 0.901), peer influence (p = 0.569), and culture (p = 0.104). In conclusion, there is an influence between knowledge, attitudes, parents' income, parents' role, and family members in early marriage. Meanwhile, what did not affect early marriage was exposure to information media, peer influence, culture. Keywords: Marriage, Early Age

Abstract

The level of public health in Indonesia, especially the community is still relatively low, including the community or residents of the Wedha social tresna home, this is because there are still obstacles to carrying out physical health checks that are not strong enough, difficult access to health services. The purpose of this activity is to treat sick residents of the orphanage with curative therapy and can slightly reduce the cost of treatment for the residents of the orphanage. The method used to solve these health problems is to conduct a health examination and provide treatment. This is certainly inseparable from the demands and needs needed by the community, especially the residents of the orphanage. From the free health checks provided, many participated, especially the residents of the orphanage, both the elderly and nursing home staff, there were 57 people who had been given health checks, both cholesterol and blood sugar tests, with the results of an examination for cholesterol of 15.7% which had a score of 15.7%. which is not normal, 10.52% for blood sugar and 33.33% for uric acid. From the health checks carried out, many elderly people were able to take part in the activities, although there were also some that had to be done at their respective guesthouses, due to the limitations of the elderly to walk to the hall where the health checks were carried out. ABSTRAK Derajat kesehatan masyarakat  di Indonesia terutama masyarakat  masih tergolong rendah termasuk masyarakat atau penghuni panti sosial tresna Wedha, Hal tersebut diakibatkan karena masih adanya kendala lansia untuk melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan kendala fisik yang kurang kuat, sulitnya akses terhadap pelayanan kesehatan. Tujuan dilaksanakan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengobati warga panti yang sakit dengan terapi kuratif dan dapat sedikit meringankan biaya pengobatan warga panti. Metode yang digunakan untuk memecahkan permasalahan kesehatan tersebut adalah dengan mengadakan pemeriksaan kesehatan serta memberi pengobatan. Hal ini tentu tidak terlepas dari permintaan dan kebutuhan yang diperlukan di masyarakat khususnya warga panti. Dari kegiatan pemeriksaan kesehatan gratis yang diberikan, banyak yang mengikuti terutama warga panti baik lansia maupun petugas panti, terdapat 57 orang yang sudah diberikan pemeriksaan kesehatan, baik pemeriksaan kolesterol, asam urat, maupun gula darah sewaktu, dengan hasil pemeriksaan untuk kolesterol 15,7% yang mempunyai nilai yang tidak normal, 10,52% untuk Gula darah dan 33,33% untuk asam urat. Dari pemeriksaan kesehatan yang dilakukan banyak lansia yang bisa mengikuti kegiatan, walaupun ada beberapa juga yang harus dilakukan pemeriksaan ke wisma masing-masing, karena keterbatasan lansia untuk berjalan ke aula tempat pemeriksaan kesehatan yang dilakukan.
