Abstract

The fine art market in Indonesia is experiencing a positive development, although it is still relatively small compared to developed countries. This increase is supported by the growing number of art exhibitions, art galleries, and museums in Indonesia, as well as the high public interest in fine art. Technology and social media have also played an important role in introducing Indonesian art to the international world, opening up more opportunities for Indonesian artists to be recognized more widely. However, there are a number of challenges faced in the development of the art market in Indonesia. One of the challenges is the lack of support from the government in developing art infrastructure. In addition, there is still a lack of public awareness of the importance of art and there are still many copyright violations in the art industry. The utilization of public spaces can create unique opportunities for artists to reach a wider audience, engage with communities more closely, and promote creativity and cultural diversity in public spaces. This exhibition managerial training activity uses participatory methods, provision of adequate resources, and appropriate utilization of information and communication technology. The aim is to strengthen community participation, improve access to and utilization of available resources, and have a significant and sustainable impact on the communities served. The training has improved artists' understanding of how to maximize art displays, and some booths have seen an increase in sales. This article notes that the training has positive potential on the art market manager, artists, and the community that participated in the training, as well as enriching the repertoire of fine arts in the area.

Abstract

Background: Skin tags or acrochordons are benign fibroepithelioma skin tumors with soft consistency, usually pedunculated, primarily originating from the dermis. High levels of blood sugar and a high lipid profile are risk factors for inflammation and hormonal imbalance, which can contribute to the development of skin tags. Purpose: The objective of this study is to identify the association between blood sugar and lipid profile with skin tags. Methods: This study is a cross-sectional study conducted from April to August 2019 at the Dermatovenereology and Endocrine Policlinic, Dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital, Banda Aceh. The sampling method of this study was consecutive sampling with 60 samples that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. A blood glucose, lipid profile, and skin tag examination was conducted on all subjects. Result: The majority of the subjects are women (61.5%), have an average age of 41-50 years old (43.3%), are obese (41.7%), and have one to five lessions of 1-5 (53.3%). There was a significant correlation between blood glucose, 2 hours post-prandial, total cholesterol, triglyceride, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels with skin tags with Spearman's correlation values of 0.645, 0.645, 0.794, 0.704, 0.606, and 0.606 consecutively. Conclusion: A high level of blood sugar and lipid profile, whether it is total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, or LDL level, can contribute to the development of skin tags.

Abstract

Background: Photoaging is the aging of the skin characterized by the appearance of wrinkles, telangiectasis, solar elastosis, pigmentation and keratosis. Photoaging is usually caused by external factor, such as sun exposure. The radiation from the sun causes an increase of the reactive oxygen species (ROS). Cell damage, dry skin, photoaging, and skin cancer are all caused by the accumulation of ROS in the skin. Purpose: The goal of this study is to find out how sun exposure affects the severity of photoaging and skin hydration at dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital Banda Aceh. Methods: This is an analytic observational study with an accidental sampling technique. Sun exposure was   measured by a questionnaire, the severity of photoaging was assessed based on the doctor's diagnosis, and skin hydration was assessed through an examination using a corneometer and tewameter.  Results: This study indicates that there is an effect of sun exposure and the severity of photoaging with p value of 0.016, while skin hydration shows a significant effect of sun exposure on hydration with a corneometer parameter with a p value of 0.031 Conclusion: There is a substantial correlation between sun exposure and the severity of photoaging. There is a substantial relationship between sun exposure and skin moisture, as measured by the corneometer parameter.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi adalah suatu pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat dipakai untuk memenuhi keperluan belajar yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing individu. Namun permasalahannya guru masih menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang seragam kepada semua siswa di dalam kelas tersebut. Bahkan sebagian besar guru memperlakukan peserta didik menggunakan metode pembelajaran secara seragam tanpa mempertimbangkan latar belakang sosial budaya, kemampuan, minat belajar, dan perbedaan individual lainnya dari para peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan kolabolasi dengan mengembangkan smart card dan edugames yang konsisten dan dapat dipercaya dalam mengajar dalam pembelajaran IPS topik ekosistem. Solusinya dengan menggunakan teknologi yang dapat digunakan untuk mendukung pembelajaran diferensiasi adalah smart card berbantuan edugames materi ekosistem yang di dalam kartu tersebut terdapat bahan ajar dan edugames seperti wordwall, quizziz dan kahoot. Interaksi aktif dengan teknologi memungkinkan peserta didik untuk belajar sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu mereka secara berkelompok sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kolaborasi peserta didik. Permatasari, et al., (2020) mengatakan bahwa media smart card dapat mengubah suasana belajar lebih menyenangkan, meningkatkan antusias dari peserta didik dan dapat menarik perhatian dari peserta didik. Implementasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya integrasi teknologi seperti smart card berbantuan edugames dalam upaya meningkatkan pembelajaran diferensiasi dan kemampuan kolaborasi peserta didik di kelas. Pentingnya penelitian ini, karena guru belum menerapkan pembelajaran diferensiasi sehingga banyak peserta didik yang belum berkembang potensinya serta belum mangakomodir kebutuhan belajar peserta didik sehingga tujuan pembelajaran belum maksimal

Abstract

Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yakni untuk membantu mitra dalam meningkatkatkan pemahaman, pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menyusun proposal kegiatang yang baik dan benar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama 2 hari yakni tanggal 25 dan 26 Februari 2023 yang diselenggarakan di Aula SMAN 1 Talun Kabupaten Pekalongan sebanyak 25 peserta pelatihan. Ada tiga tahapan dalam kegiatan ini yakni melakukan identifikasi permasalahan pada mitra, pelaksanaan kegiatan dan pendampingan dalam penyusunan proposal kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta sangat antusias dan terbantu dalam memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi oleh mtra sehingga mitra dapat membuat proposal kegiatan dengan baik dan benar sehingga berdampak pada terlaksananya kegiatan dan memperoleh pendanaan yang dibutuhkan untuk kegiatan. Disamping itu, kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan wawasan dan pengetahuan serta keterampilan dari mitra untuk membuat korespondensi bisnis yang baik dan benar.

Abstract

Pendidikan menempati urutan terpenting dalam kehidupan. Sekolah adalah tempat anak-anak untuk mengenyam pendidikan. Pendidikan yang bersifat pengetahuan umum dan pendidikan keagamaan pasti dipelajari di sekolah. Keberhasilan pendidikan di sekolah juga mengacu kepada manajemen kegiatan pembelajaran sebagai barometernya. Rumusan masalah yang dikaji dalam artikel ini ialah mengenai pentingnya manajemen pendidikan terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa. Dalam hal pendidikan karakter tentu kita tidak bisa lepas dari pembelajaran agama, yaitu adab dan akhlak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui seberapa penting manajemen organisasi dalam pendidikan ini untuk mencetak peserta didik yang berkarakter atau memiliki karakter yang baik. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi kepustakaan, yang diambil dari jurnal, makalah, artikel, buku dan skripsi mahasiswa akhir.

Abstract

This research to create innovative learning in creative evaluation through a crossword puzzle. The problem is focused on the fact that teachers still use conventional or paper-based learning evaluation models. To approach this issue, Sugiyono's theory on Evaluation is used as a reference for conducting the research. The learning evaluation process was carried out at SMP IT INSAN CENDEKIA to analyze the needs of students and teachers in the learning evaluation process at the school. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), which will produce an online-based learning evaluation innovation. Data was collected through qualitative research used to capture art learning evaluation assessment data conducted by teachers using observation, interviews, and documentation data collection techniques. The data was analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Quantitative research was used to test the validity and reliability of the products to be produced. The results of the research show that the wordwall puzzle is very practical for use by students of SMP IT INSAN CENDEKIA in the learning evaluation process, with 22 out of 24 students able to understand and use this application effectively. This study concludes that the online-based crossword puzzle learning evaluation model can provide new innovations in the evaluation process and has a high level of effectiveness and efficiency.

Abstract

Elementary school children receive instruction in the field of science. When it comes to education, this particular subject matter is primarily conveyed through lectures, and students are instructed to commit the information to memory. Consequently, pupils often adopt a passive attitude and become easily bored if the teacher fails to provide any variations. Critical thinking skills refer to the cognitive abilities possessed by students in the 21st century to effectively address questions related to the reasons and methods behind certain phenomena. These skills enable students to arrive at logical conclusions based on principles and concepts. Practically, students exhibit reduced engagement in responding to inquiries and encounter challenges when articulating issues pertaining to science. In order to fully develop students' critical thinking abilities, particularly in the context of problem-solving in Science Literacy, there is still need for improvement. Hence, the incorporation of interactive multimedia learning aids is essential to facilitate the process of acquiring knowledge. Interactive multimedia refers to a cutting-edge educational tool designed to enhance critical thinking skills through teaching materials, assessment, and evaluation. One example of such interactive multimedia is Linktree, which is specifically designed to captivate students' attention and facilitate focused learning in the classroom.

Abstract

This study examines the optimization of school-based management (SBM) in improving student performance in the era of the 2023 curriculum. With the background of the importance of adapting to curriculum changes and the challenges faced in the education system, this research aims to identify effective SBM strategies and their impact on student performance. The methodology employed is qualitative research, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, questionnaires, observations, and document studies. The findings indicate that the implementation of SBM, which involves all stakeholders collaboratively, can significantly enhance student learning outcomes. Furthermore, this study provides recommendations for strengthening teacher training and increasing parental involvement in the educational process. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of sustaining SBM practices to create a responsive and adaptive learning environment and to achieve better educational goals in the future.

Abstract

Pelajaran matematika masih menjadi salah satu momok dalam pembelajaran. Matematika masih dianggap sulit untuk dipahami. Permasalahan dalam pembelajaran matematika salah satunya adalah rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis pada siswa sekolah dasar. Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dalam pendidikan sangat memengaruhi jalannya proses belajar-mengajar. Media pembelajaran berbasis Educaplay adalah media yang mengintegrasikan berbagai elemen media seperti teks, audio, gambar, animasi, dan video, dan menyatukannya dengan permainan edukatif ke dalam satu sistem yang terpadu. Pemanfaatan game Educaplay ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan matematis siswa pada materi pecahan siswa sekolah dasar. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan peningkatan yang berarti dalam kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah matematika pada kelompok yang mengikuti percobaan dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol.
