Abstract

Silicalite (MCM-41 & MCM-48) and titanium silicalite (Ti-MCM-41 & Ti-MCM-48) mesoporous-mesostucture material have been synthesized and studied. Its have been obtained from hydrolysis and condensation of reactant : tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) as silicium source and cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) surfactant as template, NaOH as base and water solution. Ti-MCM-41 & Ti-MCM-48 mesoporous-mesostucture material have been synthesized from crystal of [Ti8O12(H2O)24]Cl8.HCl.7H2O as titanium source. Surfactant was removed by calcinations at 5500C for 5 hours. MCM-41 and Ti-MCM-41 are crystallized on the hexagonal structure, plane group p6 with unit cell parameter: a = 44.09 and 49.48 Ǻ respectively, meanwhile MCM-48 and Ti-MCM-48 are crystallized on the cubic structure, space group Ia3d with unit cell parameter: a = 87.46 and 94.42 Ǻ respectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur kristal lapisan tipis, komposisi kimia, morfologi permukaan, sifat- sifat optik dan listrik lapisan tipis Sn(Se0,4 S0,6) . Preparasi bahan menggunakan teknik evaporasi termal, dengan jarak spacer 15 cm, tekanan vakum pada 4,0x10-5 mbar, waktu deposisi selama 8 menit. Karakterisasi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan XRD (X-ray diffraction) untuk mengetahui struktur Kristal,  komposisi kimia bahan semikonduktor diketahui dengan menggunakan EDS (energy dispersive X-ray spectroscoy), sifat listrik diketahui dengan four point probe (FPP) dan untuk mengetahui sifat optik  digunakan spektrofotometer UV-VIS. Hasil karakterisasi XRD menunjukkan bahwa Sn(Se0,4 S0,6) memiliki struktur kristal orthorombik, dengan konstanta kisi  a = 4.1186 Å; b = 11.4830 Å; c = 4.3192 Å. Hasil EDS menunjukkan bahwa perbandingan komposisi kimiab Sn: Se: S = 1: 0.47: 0.53. Bahan memiliki tipe-p dengan resistivitas sebesar 85,4 Ω cm. Pada pengukuran Spektrofotometer UV-VIS bahan mulai menyerap energi foton pada panjang gelombang 400 nm, bersesuaian dengan band gap sebesar 1,38 eV.   Kata kunci : Four Point Probe, Orthorhombic, Evaporasi

Abstract

The phenomenon in the field illustrates the low productivity of teachers in assigning tasks. This research aims to reveal the influence of: (1) Integrity of principal and work discipline to motivation of teacher achievement in SMK, (2) Integrity of principal to teacher work discipline in SMK Negeri Kota Padang, (3) Integrity of principal, work discipline and motivation achievement on teacher work productivity in SMK Negeri Kota Padang. The sample of the study amounted to 266 people. The research data was collected by Likert scale model questionnaire. Data were analyzed by moderation variable path analysis technique. The result of the research shows that: (1) There is direct and indirect influence significantly Integrity of school principal and work discipline of teacher toward achievement motivation, (2) There is direct and indirect influence significantly Integrity of principal to work discipline (3) There is direct influence and not significantly the integrity of the principal, work discipline and achievement motivation affect the productivity of teachers work.

Abstract

Problem-solving skills is necessary to be mastered by students to help them in solving the problems of their daily life in the future. The purpose of this study was to map the student problem-solving skills after inquiry learning in Physics subject, impulse, and momentum in class X SMAN 1 Prambanan, Yogyakarta. Experimental research model with one-shot case study design was used in this study. Data collection was performed through essays at the end of the learning process. The results of the mapping show that students have different problem-solving skills levels at each stage. At the stage of problem identification, students were in a very good category. At the stage of planning the problem solution and problem-solving implementation, the students were in a good category, while in results evaluation, the students were in a fairly good category. The result of this study can contribute to giving the point of view to the teacher about students' problem-solving skills level based on the indicators as well as giving the additional information as a literature in the topic of students’ problem-solving skills after inquiry learning.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of the use of teachers’ Lecture models combined with cooperative learning methods to improve students’ problem-solving skills in physics compare with the control group who were not exposed to the lecture model combined with cooperative learning methods from effect size value. The research method was a quasi-experimental research. The sample consisted of 33 students of 10th grade in middle schools (senior high school), SMAN 1 Sungai Penuh, Jambi Province where they ware learn at work and energy concept. Students' achievements, as well as their problem-solving skills of work and energy concept were assessed by pretest-posttest with an essay test. The results showed that the experimental group’s learning process has a high effect size value to problem-solving skills more than control group learning process. That shows the lecture model combined with cooperative learning method more effective than lecture model.

Abstract

Free fall motion in air medium is only influenced by gravitation acceleration. However, there are several variables that caused the observations to be different with the concept. Variables, such as air drag and terminal velocity, are often teachers not presented in detail, causing misconceptions. This study aims to develop a simple experiment on free fall motion by identifying air drag and terminal velocity. The data in this study is the video of free fall motion of paper and scraper analyzed using Tracker video analyze. From the video analyzed, information is obtained in the form of time (t), track (l, θ), and velocity (v) of the object. This study shows that the air drag force increase unto the terminal velocity. The calculation of the drag coefficient giving the number of the paper 2,16 and the scraper 2,10. According to data analyzed, the air drag force is affected by the mass (m), area (A), and the air drag force (FD) with the linear correlation until it reaches the terminal velocity. The result of this study may use as references of free fall motion experiment with other objects and analyze.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian yang memiliki tujuan umum untuk menguji pengaruh lesson study dengan teknik guided teaching dengan hasil pembelajaran Fisika Zat Padat Lanjut. Tujuan khusus tulisan ini meli-puti: (1) menyusun instrumen penilaian pembelajaran Fisika Zat Padat Lanjut yang menerapkan lesson study; (2) mengukur prestasi belajar; dan (3) mengukur aktivitas mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di FMIPA Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian adalah semua mahasiswa Program Studi Fisika Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika yang mengambil mata kuliah Fisika Zat Padat Lanjut. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian tindakan kelas. Penskoran hasil tes dengan politomus dan aktivitas mahasis-wa dinyatakan dalam persentase. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Instrumen penilaian terdiri atas lembar observasi dan tes yang berupa: (a) uraian untuk materi: sifat dielektrik dan optik bahan pada siklus I, (b) berupa isian singkat untuk materi bahan magnetik pada siklus II, dan (c) berupa tes isian singkat-uraian pada materi ketidaksempurnaan kristal pada siklus III; (2) prestasi belajar mahasiswa meningkat dari siklus I, II, dan III; dan (3) aktivitas mahasiswa dalam diskusi kelas meningkat dari siklus I, II, dan III.Kata kunci: penilaian, pembelajaran, lesson study, fisika zat padat lanjut

Abstract

A simple method for growing thin film of semiconductor material PbTe0.5Se0.50 has been designed using the vapor transport (CSVT) method in a vertical reactor. The objectivity of this method is to study thin film growth formation due to chemical reactions during the deposition process in the reactor. In this study will describe some formations the vapor transport mechanism of PbTe0.5Se0.50 semiconductor material using iodine gas (I2) to accelerate the etching reaction on the substrate surface. Next, we will describe how the mechanism of the reaction in the reactor zone for growing thin films on the substrate. The thin films were characterized by structural, morphology properties and its composition. The film structure is a cubic structure with the maximum diffraction intensity at peak (222). The surface morphology of the thin film has a microcubes shape with a grain size~10 to 20 mm. Keywords: etching reaction; micro-cube; PbTe0.5Se0.50; close-spaced vapor transport

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi energi celah pita titania yang disisipi dengan logam Cu, Mengetahui distribusi energi celah pita titania yang disisipi dengan logam Fe, dan mengetahui potensi titania yang disisipi Cu atau Fe jika diaplikasikan sebagai sel surya. Penyisipan logam Cu atau Fe pada titania dilakukan dengan membuat nanokomposit titania-tembaga. Kemudian nanokomposit tersebut dideposisikan pada elektroda transparan denga metode doctor blade. Karakterisasi XRD (X-Ray Difraction) dilakukan untuk mengetahui komposisi kimia lapisan. Lapisan titania-tembaga juga dikarakterisasi dengan menggunakan UV-Visible spektrometer untuk mengetahui absorbansinya terhadap cahaya. Melalui absorbansi titania dianalisis distribusi energi celah pita. Karakterisasi arus-tegangan (I-V) dilakukan untuk mengetahui performansi sel surya yang dihasilkan. Berdasarkan fungsi probabilitas ditunjukkan kemungkinan adanya berbagai energi celah pita pada titania, yang menyebabkan energi celah pita titania bergeser. Besarnya probabilitas bukan menunjukkan konsentrasi dengan energi celah pita yang bersangkutan pada titania. Berdasarkan data karakterisasai XRD diperoleh kandungan unsur atau senyawa pada TiO2, TiO2-Cu dan TiO2-Fe. Berdasarkan karakterisasi IV, ditunjukkan bahwa sudah terbentuk persambungan antara metal dengan bahan semikonduktor pada sampel

Abstract

Nanopartikel Fe3O4 yang berasal dari pasir besi pantai Glagah Kulon Progo telah berhasil disintesis menggunakan metode kopresipitasi dengan berbagai variasi konsentrasi HCl (10%, 15%, 25% dan 37%). Pengaruh konsentrasi HCl terhadap mikrostruktur dan sifat kemagnetan dari Fe3O4 dilihat dengan menggunakan XRD, SEM EDX serta VSM. Hasil XRD menunjukkan bahwa Fe3O4 yang dihasilkan memiliki struktur kristal kubik invers spinel. Semakin besar konsentrasi HCl, semakin baik derajat kristalinitasnya. Hasil SEM EDX untuk sampel Fe3O4 dengan konsentrasi HCl 37% menunjukkan ukuran butir (grain) yang hampir sama serta tingkat kemurnian sampel Fe3O4 yang dihasilkan sebesar 100% (Fe 72,42% dan O 27,58%). Hasil VSM menunjukkan Fe3O4 hasil sintesis memiliki sifat superparamagnetik serta bersifat soft magnetic. Nanopartikel Fe3O4 dengan konsentrasi HCl 25% memiliki Hc, Mr dan Mmax masing-masing sebesar 0,0215 T, 11,60 emu/gr dan 36,51 emu/gr. Sedangkan Nanopartikel Fe3O4 dengan konsentrasi HCl 37% memiliki Hc dan Mr yang lebih kecil yaitu masing-masing sebesar 0,0017 T dan 10,83 emu/gr serta Mmax yang lebih besar yaitu 36,82 emu/gr.
