Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Quizizz as an evaluation tool in mathematics learning within the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and to describe students' responses to its use. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The participants were fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 067259 Medan Johor. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the use of Quizizz as an evaluation tool had been implemented well and supported student-centered learning. Students showed positive responses, as indicated by high enthusiasm, increased participation, and improved motivation during evaluation activities. However, there were obstacles related to unequal access to technology among students. Overall, Quizizz is effective as an interactive evaluation tool in mathematics learning in the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of star sticker rewards on the reading learning motivation of third-grade students at SD IT Harapan Islami Talun Kenas. The study was motivated by the low level of students' reading motivation, as indicated by their lack of interest, attention, and active participation during reading lessons. This research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational design. The participants consisted of all 29 third-grade students of SD IT Harapan Islami Talun Kenas, who were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using the Product Moment correlation test and the t-test. The findings revealed that the students' reading learning motivation was in the high category. Furthermore, there was a positive, very strong, and significant relationship between the use of star sticker rewards and students' reading learning motivation. This was indicated by the calculated t value of 10.583, which was higher than the t table value of 2.052, a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, and a regression coefficient of 0.946. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (H₁) was accepted, while the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected. It can be concluded that the better the implementation of star sticker rewards, the higher the reading learning motivation of third-grade students at SD IT Harapan Islami Talun Kenas.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan mendukung aktivitas ekonomi dan pertanian masyarakat Desa Jatimulyo, Kecamatan Pegajahan, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Sumatera Utara melalui solusi sesuai kebutuhan lokal. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan praktik langsung. Pada sektor UMKM, dilakukan pembuatan dan pemasangan banner promosi pada UMKM Bu Neni sebagai media pengenalan usaha. Pada sektor pertanian, dilakukan penyerahan alat gejik kepada petani disertai praktik penggunaan dan diskusi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa banner membantu memperkenalkan UMKM kepada masyarakat, sedangkan alat gejik memberikan dukungan praktis bagi aktivitas pertanian. Kedua kegiatan mendapat respons positif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan solusi sederhana berbasis kebutuhan lokal dapat memberikan manfaat dalam mendukung promosi UMKM dan aktivitas pertanian masyarakat.

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder that affects an individual's ability to communicate, socialize, and adjust to his or her environment. Children with ASD often face barriers to building social relationships and exhibiting contextual behaviors. One of the widely used approaches to address this challenge is the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) method, which focuses on reinforcing positive behaviors through learning principles. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the ABA method in improving social skills and adaptive behavior of 1st grade ASD students of SD Panca Budi Medan. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study revealed that ABA interventions had a positive effect on improving communication skills, participation in social activities, and reducing negative behaviors in ASD students. In addition, the successful implementation of ABA depends on the active involvement of teachers in the learning process as well as parental support. The study also found obstacles such as limited parental understanding and lack of teacher training related to the ABA method. ABA is an effective method if it is carried out on an ongoing basis with collaborative support between schools and families.
