Abstract

People will always try to condition his environment to achieve thermal comfort for his body. To conditioning the external environment is strongly influenced by climatic conditions. In other words, the comfort that humans feel in the outer space is depend on the thermal conditions of the environment. The object of outer space in this research is the built environment with the shape of Taman Kota I Gusti Ngurah Agung in Denpasar City. City Park as the object of research so far only judged from its function as a convenient recreational facility for the city community, both from the visual comfort and the thermal comfort. To answer the needs of thermal comfort in the city park, the focus of this research is the conditioning of the outer space elements with the concept of Balinese Traditional Architecture to improve the thermal comfort of the esksisting conditions. The purpose of this research is to produce thermal comfort optimization of city park through recommendation of arrangement model with the concept of Water Garden of Traditional Architecture of Bali. It takes thermal condition visualization using Envi-MET 3.1 software to see thermal enhancement improvement in the research object recommendation model. The result of this research is mapping of the increase of thermal comfort quantity distribution at the condition of urban park recommendation model. From the mapping of the thermal conditions, it is known that the thermal comfort level of the urban park recommendation model is higher. This result can then be followed up as a recommendation model of Taman Kota I Gusti Ngurah Made Agung with the concept of Water Garden of Traditional Architecture of Bali and the future can be applied in other cities with similar characteristics.

Abstract

Traditional markets are places where buying and selling transactions take place between traders and buyers by implementing a bargaining system that is characteristic of traditional markets. Many people depend on the existence of traditional markets. Especially for lower middle class people. Sayan Village Traditional Market, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency is a location for trading daily necessities such as fruit, vegetables, meat, prayer tools, and others. The problems faced by this market are unhygienic market conditions and the appearance of slums, buildings and spatial layout. Sayan Market experiences an inadequate and disorganized condition, with a number of areas not being utilized optimally, such as chaotic parking and kiosk facilities and main market stalls that are neglected and not well maintained. This can cause people to feel uncomfortable, and people prefer modern markets that prioritize cleanliness. The research method used by the author to prepare this research is a qualitative method in the form of literature study, observation, documentation and interviews. Based on the existing problems, it is necessary to redesign the Traditional Market in Sayan Village, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency so that it can accommodate functions well packaged in a new, clean, comfortable market appearance and pay attention to more optimal circulation

Abstract

Kenyamanan termal menjadi aspek penting dalam perancangan ruang luar seperti taman kota. Taman air tradisional Bali memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan termal melalui penerapan elemen air dan konsep arsitektur tradisional. Penelitian sebelumnya oleh Wirya dkk (2017) menemukan tiga model taman air berarsitektur tradisional Bali yang memiliki tingkat kenyamanan termal optimal. Namun, penerapan model tersebut pada taman kota modern belum banyak diteliti.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan konsep desain taman kota yang optimal dari segi kenyamanan termal dengan menerapkan model taman air berarsitektur tradisional Bali. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan teknik simulasi menggunakan software Envi-met. Objek penelitian adalah tiga taman kota di Bali yaitu Taman Kota Alit di Kabupaten Tabanan, Lapangan Astina di Kabupaten Gianyar, dan Lapangan Kapten Mudita di Kabupaten Bangli.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model taman air tradisional Bali dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan termal pada taman kota. Pola sebaran suhu udara dan kelembaban lebih merata dengan adanya elemen air dan vegetasi yang ditata sesuai konsep tradisional Bali. Kecepatan angin juga lebih terkontrol sehingga menciptakan iklim mikro yang lebih nyaman. Konsep desain yang dihasilkan dapat dijadikan rekomendasi bagi perancangan taman kota yang optimal dari segi kenyamanan termal dengan tetap mempertahankan nilai-nilai arsitektur lokal.

Abstract

Desa Sayan di Ubud, Bali, memiliki potensi besar dalam sektor pertanian dan pariwisata yang dapat disinergikan melalui konsep agrowisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang kawasan agrowisata pertanian organik yang mampu mendukung pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal serta pelestarian lingkungan dengan pendekatan eco arsitektur. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan masyarakat dan pemangku kepentingan, serta analisis tapak dan kebutuhan ruang. Hasil perencanaan menghasilkan kawasan agrowisata yang menyatukan aktivitas edukatif, rekreatif, dan produksi pertanian organik dalam satu sistem yang harmonis. Desain kawasan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip eco arsitektur seperti pemanfaatan material lokal, sistem sirkulasi alami, pengolahan limbah terpadu, dan tata ruang yang adaptif terhadap kontur serta vegetasi eksisting. Agrowisata ini diharapkan menjadi model pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan yang mendukung ketahanan pangan, ekonomi lokal, serta pelestarian budaya dan alam Bali.

Abstract

The development of popular culture in Denpasar City has grown significantly, especially among young communities such as cosplay, gaming, collectors, and digital creators. However, these activities are still temporary and not supported by integrated facilities, resulting in fragmented creative processes and limited sustainability. This study aims to design a Pop Culture Creative Hub in Denpasar as an integrated creative space that accommodates production, collaboration, and commercialization activities. The method used includes literature study, observation, interviews, and precedent study, analyzed through comparative, analytical, and synthesis methods. The design applies a cross-programming approach by integrating creative, commercial, educational, and recreational functions into a flexible and adaptive spatial system. The result is a creative hub that remains active daily and supports the development of a sustainable creative ecosystem in Denpasar.
