Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how interconnection practices in management, policy, planning and leadership studies are focused on quality management practices set out in the SPMI at the Universitas Pasifik Morotai (UNIPAS) Quality Assurance Institute (LPM). The research method used in this study is qualitative research. Data needed in this study are primary data and secondary data. The primary data source is the Chairperson of the Universitas Pasifik Morotai (UNIPAS) Quality Assurance Institute as Quality Control and Supervision at the Universitas Pasifik Morotai (UNIPAS). Quality documents as secondary data sources. Quality Assurance, is a proof of Universitas Pasifik Morotai’s commitment to develop a quality culture. The SPMI policy is a written documentation containing an outline of an explanation for understanding, designing, and implementing SPMI in the administration of higher education services to the community so that quality culture is realized. The quality management process at the Universitas Pasifik Morotai (UNIPAS) shows that the four elements of the interconnection of management studies, policy, leadership and planning have a very strong link in the administration of higher education activities at the Universitas Pasifik Morotai (UNIPAS).

Abstract

Berdasarkan data sebanyak 53,84% siswa kelas IV di SDN Cikuya III Kabupaten Tangerang mendapat nilai matematika dibawah KKM (70), kesulitan ketika diberikan soal hitungan matematika terutama bangun datar, belum terbiasa berpikir kreatif matematis, kesulitan dalam pemahaman konsep, serta guru menggunakan model pembelajaran ceramah menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Dampaknya siswa malas, sangat pasif, tidak tertarik sampai malas mengulang kembali pelajaran dirumah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat berpikir kreatif matematis siswa setelah mendapat perlakuan antara model pembelajaran Problem Posing dan Problem Based Learning pada pemelajaran matematika materi bagun datar. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan metode eksperimen jenis true experimental design. Jumlah populasi dan sampel menggunakan total sampling yakni 52 siswa kelas IV A (29) sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 menggunakan Problem Posing, dan B (23) sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 menggunakan Problem Based Learning. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan tes, serta statistic deskriptif dan statistic inferensial sebagai teknik analisis data. Kesimpulan diperoleh, Problem Posing yang diterapkan di kelas IV A memiliki nilai lebih tinggi dari nilai sebelum diberikan Problem Posing. Problem Based Learning yang diterapkan pada kelas IV B memiliki nilai lebih tinggi dari nilai sebelum diberikan Problem Based Learning dengan nilai postest. Sehingga model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dianggap layak meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kreatif matematis siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika materi bangun datar.

Abstract

This research is aims to find out the empirical evidence dealing with learning conduct of college students of PGSD study program University of Pasifik Morotai in following the lecture. This is quantitative descriptive research. Sampling techinique of this research is probablity sampling by simple rendom sampling with the result that be gained amount 30 college students . Data analysis technique uses one sample t-test college students of PGSD Unipas Morotai in following the lecture still poor, the highest number is 65% of being expected to be accepted. Key word: Learning conduct. Abstract

Penerapan Kurikulum 2013 di Sekolah Dasar Kawasan Pesisir Kabupaten Pulau Morotai belum berjalan optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan bukti empiris terkait persepsi dan sikap guru kawasan pesisir dalam penerapan Kurikulum 2013 berbasis tematik di Kabupaten Pulau Morotai dan seberapa pengaruhnya dalam penerapan Kurikulum 2013 berbasis tematik integratif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian campuran (mixed methods) dimana penelitian ini menggabungkan dua bentuk penelitian yaitu penelitian kualitatif dan penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian persepsi dan sikap guru kawasan pesisir terhadap penerapan kurikulum 2013 berbasis tematik integratif meningkatkan kinerja guru guru, kendalanya antara lain kurangnya sarana belajar buku dalam penerapan kurikulum 2013 dan kurangnya kegiatan pelatihan kepada guru-guru terkait kurikulum 2013. Sedangkan, hasil analisis kuantitatif ada pengaruh pesepsi dan sikap guru kawasan pesisir terhadap penerapan kurikulum 2013 berbasis tematik integratif.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the socio-cultural perspective of the Galela Tribe towards women's education in border areas. The problem is focused on equal distribution of education for women in Morotai Island Regency as the border area of Indonesia and the Philippines. This study used a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interview and observation techniques. Sources of data in this study were women from the Galela Tribe residing in the village of Sakita, North Morotai District, Mira Village, East District, and Momojiu Village, South Morotai District, selected by purposive sampling. The three villages are the oldest traditional villages in Kab. Morotai Island, which used to be the villages of the Moro Kingdom, until now these villages are traditional villages. The results of the study conclude that it is true that there is a view that women are not important to get education for their lives, but along with the times, women from the Galela tribe have begun to gain access to education even to college.

Abstract

Background of the study: The implementation of quality assurance at Morotai Pacific University does not improve and improve the quality of higher education implementation in the Border Area of Morotai Island Regency. This is evidenced by until now the University of the Pacific Morotai does not have university accreditation. Purpose: This research aims to find objective, accountable evidence in helping universities make improvements in developing quality universities and improve strategies in carrying out quality assurance at the college. Method: This research uses mixed methods with sequential explanatory strategies implemented of alumni at the Morotai Pacific University of North Maluku as the Border Region of the Republic of Indonesia. Findings: The results showed that there are still many graduates of pacific morotai universities who do not have a job, and are looking for work. While the perspective of alumni on ability in the academic field is focused on aspects of graduates who have special competencies, general competence, personality competence, and infrastructure. The addition of teaching staff is also one of the concerns of alumni to meet the ratio of lecturers to students. Conclusion: This article defines the essence of the parameters and dimensions of quality assurance of universities in Indonesia, especially at the Morotai Pacific University in North Maluku through the application of quality assurance models.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of internal quality assurance at Pacific Morotai University and provide detailed findings regarding the constraints faced by the Pacific Morotai University Quality Assurance Institute (LPM), North Maluku. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study method at the Pacific University of Morotai, North Maluku; Data was collected based on document search, observation, and interviews. The results of the study show that the implementation of internal quality assurance at Pacific Morotai University faces the problem of a lack of auditors who have an understanding and a number of human resources in carrying out monitoring and evaluation tasks. The technical implementing unit formed by LPM in carrying out its duties only consists of six people spread across six faculties with details of one person for each faculty. The impact is due to the lack of auditors who are experts in quality assurance, so that it has an impact on quality assurance or external accreditation. In fact, the university does not yet have institutional accreditation status and eleven study programs have the same accreditation rating, namely C. Thus, the implementation of quality assurance is not carried out optimally and properly monitored, making it difficult to measure university quality achievements in setting higher education standards.

Abstract

The formation of interaction, communication, and collaboration between lecturers and students, and or students in assignment management during the Covid-19 period requires lecturers to change their pedagogy quckly through choosing the right strategy. This study aims to present information as a measure of the success of lecturers’ strategies in managing assignments to write books with ISBN as an implementation of the quality of academic services during the Covid-19 period. This cross-sectional descriptive survey research method was conducted on 128 fifth semester students of A-D class, Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang, Academic Year 2020/2021, with 52 web-based questionnaires distributed online using the google form application, measured using 4 response point Likert data format without middle category, using 4 answer options: Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree. The management of the assignments to write books with ISBN is very appropriate to do as a lecturer strategy to maximize the quality of academic services in curriculum development courses during the Covid-19 period.

Abstract

SD Negeri Unggulan 1 Pulau Moroai merupakan sekolah yang telah mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka belajar. Kelemahan dalam penerapannya adalah memahami dan merancang projek profil pelajar pancasila. Program pelatihan projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila berbasis kearifan lokal pada satuan pendidikan dasar Kabupaten Pulau Morotai merupakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat sebagai salah satu instrument untuk menyebarluaskan profil pancasila yang diharapkan sebagai karakter pelajar Indonesia. Tujuan pengabdian adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru dan mampu mengaplikasikan projek profil pelajar pancasila berbasis kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran dan asesmen di Sekolah Dasar. Metode kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan. Berdasarkan evaluasi setelah dilakukan pelatihan diperoleh hasil bahwa pemahaman kategorisasi kelas kedalam penyebutan fase masih belum dipahami oleh guru, sehingga setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini ada peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang sangat baik berdasarkan hasil pengisian kuisioner oleh para peserta pelatihan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berjalan dengan sangat lancar karena dukungan dari berbagai pihak, khususnya partisipasi peserta yang sangat antusias dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pelatihan. Dengan demikian kegiatan sosialisasi ini hendaknya kedepan dilakukan pada sasaran yang lebih luas lagi dan materinya dapat dikembangkan lebih luas lagi sehingga pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta kegiatan dapat lebih meningkat lagi.
