Abstract

Studi ini memiliki tujuan menguji pengaruh pertumbuhan perusahaan (X1), struktur modal (X2), dan likuiditas (X3) terhadap nilai perusahaan pada subsektor jasa komersial, produk, serta perlengkapan bangunan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2019–2024. Fokus penelitian ditujukan agar memahami seberapa jauh ketiga variabel itu memengaruhi nilai perusahaan. Pendekatan penelitian secara metode kuantitatif secara memilih data sekunder berbentuk laporan keuangan tahunan diantara 12 perusahaan yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilaksanakan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Temuan studi mengindikasikan jika ketiga variabel itu berdampak positif serta signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, apakah dari parsial ataupun simultan. Hasil ini memvalidasi pengaruh signifikan pertimbangan keuangan internal terhadap sentimen investor. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan modal dan likuiditas yang baik merupakan strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan nilai perusahaan. Maka, manajemen mesti menjaga keseimbangan struktur modal serta likuiditas guna mempertahankan daya saing di pasar modal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze junior high school students’ perceptions of gender awareness and emancipation through the use of the Kartini film as a learning media. The background of this study is rooted in the limited integration of gender issues in classroom practices and the potential of visual media to bridge this gap. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research was conducted at Kolisia Junior High School and involved 21 seventh-grade students through observations and interviews. The Kartini film was utilized in class VII, accompanied by a brief explanation of gender concepts to support students’ understanding. The findings show that most students responded positively. They found it more engaging and easier to comprehend compared to the usual way of learning in class, such as reading or listening to explanations. The film effectively raised students’ gender awareness about the struggles faced by women in the past and inspired discussions on gender equality. However, challenges such as unfamiliar language and the film’s duration were noted by some students. Despite these obstacles, the film proved to be a meaningful tool in encouraging students to reflect on gender roles and equal rights. The study concludes that integrating films into classroom instruction can enhance students’ understanding of social issues and promote gender-sensitive education.

Abstract

Implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) technology and microcontrollers as an automatic temperature control system on tools for proofing bread dough at the Oei Oei Pizza and Patisserie Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs). The primary issue faced by partners was temperature instability during the dough fermentation process, leading to inconsistent product quality. The implementation method included problem identification, tool design and construction, implementation at partner locations, and mentoring and evaluation. The results of the activity showed that the tool can help IoT-based systems maintain stable fermentation temperatures, improve dough quality consistency, and increase production efficiency. This initiative also has a positive impact on increasing partners' capacity to utilize appropriate technology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of self-adjustment of new students in the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, University of Jambi, Class of 2025, in the learning environment. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using a survey method. A total of 115 students were selected as the sample through total sampling technique, using a Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using descriptive percentage technique. The results showed that the overall level of self-adjustment was in the high category with an average of 64.49%. By indicator: overt performance 62.13% (high), adjustment to various groups 67.32% (high), personal satisfaction 63.95% (high), and social attitudes 66.01% (high). However, the ability to manage pressure only reached 39.47%, falling into the low category. These findings indicate that although most students have adapted well, some still face difficulties in managing psychological pressure during their transition to higher education. Abstract

This study aims to describe community perceptions of gender equality within families in Tangkit Village, Muaro Jambi Regency. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with three informants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The results indicate that the community of Tangkit Village generally hold positive perceptions regarding gender equality. The community supports women’s rights to education, employment, and participation in family decision-making. However, the division of roles within the family still tends to follow traditional patterns that place men as the primary breadwinners and women as the primary caregivers for domestic work. Additionally, the influence of patriarchal values remains evident in several aspects of family life. This study concludes that the community’s perceptions of gender equality have led to more equitable relationships, although practices are still influenced by traditional gender norms and constructs.

Abstract

This study aims to identify behaviors of students who lack self-confidence when expressing arguments in class at SMP Negeri 03 Kota Jambi. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research involved four students with initials AR, M, TR, and L who demonstrated low self-confidence behaviors in the classroom, as well as the school counselor (BK) as a key informant. The results revealed that the self-confidence deficit behavior of students was influenced by several interrelated factors: negative self-concept, low self-esteem, unpleasant past experiences such as being ridiculed by classmates, and feelings of shame combined with a fear of failure. Students with a low self-concept tended to remain passive during learning activities, chose silence when teachers posed questions, and avoided speaking in front of the class. Low self-esteem caused students to feel inferior, unable to openly express opinions, and overly sensitive to negative evaluations from peers. Negative experiences, particularly being mocked when attempting to answer questions, significantly impacted the development of student self-confidence. The findings indicate that the school counselor plays a crucial role in providing individual counseling services, group guidance sessions, and positive motivation to help students become more confident and actively participate in conveying arguments in class. It is recommended that schools create a more supportive learning environment and involve school counselors more systematically in developing students social and communicative confidence.
