Abstract

Sonneratia caseolaris merupakan jenis tanaman bakau yang banyak dimanfaatkan pada kegiatan akuakultur. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas penambahan ekstrak buah mangrove Sonneratia caseolaris yang dicampurkan pada pakan komersil untuk pemeliharaan ikan kerapu cantang (Ephinephelus fuscoguttatus X Ephinephelus lanceolatus). Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan pemberian dosis perlakuan 5 mg/L, 15 mg/L, dan kontrol dengan masing-masing tiga pengulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan 15 mg/L ekstrak buah pedada pada pakan komersil adalah dosis terbaik. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai biomassa rata-rata 37.78 gr, feed conversion ratio 1.10, survival rate 100%, dan efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan sebesar 90.26%. Selain itu parameter kualitas seperti pH 7.9, oksigen terlarut 5.88 mg/L, suhu 290C, dan salinitas 31 ppt secara keseluruhan masih sesuai baku mutu air untuk kegiatan budidaya ikan air payau. Perlakuan lain yaitu 5 mg/L dan kontrol juga cukup progresif, tetapi tidak seefektif perlakuan 15 mg/L. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Penambahan ekstrak buah mangrove Sonneratia caseolaris pada pakan komersil ikan kerapu cantang dinilai cukup efektif dengan pengambilan dosis ekstrak sebesar 15 mg/L. Indikator nyata yang dapat dilihat adalah nilai parameter biomassa ikan, feed conversion ratio, survival rate, dan efektifitas pemberian pakan.

Abstract

Abstract Feed is one of the obstacles in shrimp farming because of the high price of feed. For this reason, a breakthrough is needed, namely the addition of natural ingredients in the feed that can increase shrimp growth. The purpose of this study was to determine the positive impact on the addition of Rhizopora apiculata leaf extract and the best dose to increase the growth of vannamei shrimp. This research method used an experimental Completely Randomized Design (CRD) 4 treatments with 3 replications with the test feed using feed with the addition of Rhizopora mucronata leaf extract with several doses such as: 0 mg/kg feed (A); 1,5 mg/kg feed (B); 1,7 mg/kg feed (C); 1,9 mg/kg feed (D). Observations were made for 28 days with feeding 3 times every day. The results showed that the application of R. mucronate mangrove leaves was able to increase growth with the highest yield, namely at a dose of 1.9 mg/kg feed (D) which achieved an absolute growth of 5.46g. Water quality was described as temperature with 30–31°C, salinity around 20–21 ppt, and pH  7,7–8,0. Keywords: Growth, Rhizopora mucronata, SR, Vanname Shrimp  Abstrak Pakan menjadi salah satu kendala dalam budidaya udang karena harga pakan yang mahal. Untuk itu perlu adanya terobosan yaitu penambahan bahan alami dalam pakan yang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan udang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh  penambahan ekstrak daun Rhizopora mucronata terhadap peningkatan pertumbuhan udang vanname. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimental laboratories dengan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 4 perlakuan 3 ulangan. Adapun perlakuan dengan menggunakan pakan yang ditambah ekstrak daun Rhizopora mucronata dengan beberapa dosis seperti: 0 mg/kg pakan (A); 1,5 mg/kg pakan (B); 1,7 mg/kg pakan (C); 1,9 mg/kg pakan (D). Hasil penelitian menujukan pemberian daun mangrove R. mucronate mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dengan hasil tertinggi yaitu pada dosis 1,9 mg/kg pakan (D) yang mencapai pertumbuhan mutlak 5,46g. Kualitas air berupa suhu mendapatkan suhu 30–310C, salinitas 20–21 ppt, dan pH 7,7–8,0 Kata kunci: Pertumbuhan, Rhizopora mucronata, SR, Udang Vanname

Abstract

Indonesia as a country that has abundant natural resources, especially waters, causes the fishery sector to become one of the sectors with great potential in development. One of the efforts to improve the human resources of coastal communities is to form institutions at the farmer level, but there is a lack of insight and knowledge about the function of farmer institutions as a forum for the organization. The purpose of this community service is to increase and increase knowledge for the community about the importance of institutions in managing businesses in the fisheries sector, especially in investing. The method used by explaining directly or presenting to community groups who attended the counseling with participants was the MAPAN group from Degayu Village, Pekalongan City with 25 members. The result was that 80% of participants were able to capture knowledge about the importance of institutions for developing fishery businesses after being given counseling and the community was able to compile data on investment in institutions that were formed after receiving counseling. Keywords: Organization, Investment, Society

Abstract

This research was carried out to examine the effects of papaya seed flour at different doses on the growth of hybrid groupers and to determine the most optimal dose of papaya seed flour on fish growth. A complete randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications was used, which treatments consisted of: treatment A Without papaya seed flour (Control), treatment B with 2.5 grams/kg of papaya seed flour, treatment C with 5 grams of papaya seed flour per kg feed, and treatment D of 7.5 grams papaya seed flour/kg feed. Treatment C was found the most optimal treatment, resulting in an absolute biomass value of 26.97 grams and feed conversion ratio of 1.19. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) of the absolute biomass development of the hybrid grouper obtained an F count of 41.3892 higher than F table of 5%, indicating significant effects on the fish growth. The water quality was set at an ideal level, with temperature ranging between 28-29 0C, pH between 7.0-7.5 and salinity between 30-33 ppt.Keywords:Hybrid groupersPapaya seed flourGrowth

Abstract

Introduction: Prorocentrum sp. is one of the harmful algae genera that often grows in the aquatic ecosystems of vaname shrimp (L. vannamei) ponds. The purpose of this study was to determine the abundance and dynamics of the Prorocentrum sp. during the shrimp culture period of vaname shrimp (L. vannamei) in intensive ponds. Method: This research was conducted on 4 ponds with a size of 3,200 m2 and a stocking density of 120 fish/m2. The research variables observed were water quality parameters and Prorocentrum sp. which is carried out every 7 days during the shrimp cultivation periods. Result: Based on the results of study, the water quality parameters during the shrimp culture period tend to be stable, except for the water pH parameters which have relatively high afternoon pH fluctuations. Prorocentrum sp. genera during the shrimp culture period, the plankton genus was the most dominant compared to other genera of the Dinoflagellate class. The dynamics of the Prorocentrum sp. abundance on the intensive pond, there was a significant correlation between the solubility of TAN (Total Ammonia Nitrogen) content of 74.8% and the water temperature of 83.3%. Conclusion: The abundance dynamics of Prorocentrum sp. genera during aquaculture period of vaname shrimp (L. vannamei) fluctuated dynamically following the solubility trend of TAN (Total Ammonia Nitrogen) levels and water temperature flux in the pond ecosystem

Abstract

The aim of this research are to assess the feasibility of water and soil quality in silvofishery cultivation areas and to determine the environmental carrying capacity of the cultivation. The methods employed include Water Quality Index (WQI), Soil Quality Index (SQI), carrying capacity, and correlation analysis of parameters. The concentration of COD in the silvofishery pond water ranges from 705.34-749.50 mg.L-1, and the total nitrogen content in the soil ranges from 7-8 mg.L-1. The COD parameter in water shows a strong correlation with dissolved oxygen. The soil type parameter silt is correlated with redox potential, while the clay soil type is correlated with sand soil. The variance in data for water and soil quality variables is considered significant as per cluster analysis. The WQI values range from 0.47-0.85, categorized as poor, good, and excellent. The SQI values range from 0.52-0.77, falling into the good and excellent categories. The carrying capacity of dissolved oxygen ranges from 0.7-1.99 kg.ha-1, indicating that if the DO concentration is below this range, oxygen depletion may occur in the silvofishery pond. The research results indicate that the water and soil quality in the silvofishery pond is still sufficiently suitable for silvofishery activities. The carrying capacity of dissolved oxygen in the silvofishery pond is deemed adequate for operational silvofishery activities, ranging from 14.26-15.87 kg.ha-1. This implies that the silvofishery cultivation system is capable of enhancing aquaculture productivity while minimizing environmental pollution in the surrounding aquatic areas resulting from the waste generated during aquaculture operations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menguji efektivitas ekstrak daun Rhizopora mucronata dalam meningkatkan biomassa mutlak ikan kerapu cantang serta menentukan dosis optimal yang memberikan hasil terbaik. Mengaplikasikan penelitian eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), meliputi 4 perlakuan dan 3 replikasi per perlakuan ditambah dengan dosis ekstrak daun R.mucronata, yaitu pakan 0 mg/kg(A), 1,5 mg/kgpakan (B), 1,7 mg/kgpakan (C), 1,9 mg/kgpakan (D). Parameter yang diamati adalah pertumbuhan biomassa absolut, Pertumbuhan spesifik (SGR), Rasio Pemanfaatan Pakan (FCR), Efisiensi pakan (EP), Survival rate (SR) dan kualitas air. Ikan kerapu diberikan pakan sebanyak 3% per hari dan frekuensi pakan sebanyak 3 kali sehari selama 30 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ikan kerapu yang diberi perlakuan daun R.mucronata 1,7 mg/kg pakan menghasilkan rerata pertumbuhan tertinggi sebesar 24,19 g dengan laju harian 2,69%, FCR 1,09, EP 91%, sintasan 100%, suhu 28–29 °C, pH 7,6–7,9 , salinitas 29–31 ppt dan DO 7,2–7,7 ppm.

Abstract

Pentingnya peningkatan nilai gizi masyarakat dapat dilaksanakannya dengan GEMARIKAN. Tujuan pengabdian ini sebagai penambah transfer ilmu siswa MAS Fatchul Qowim dalam hal nilai gizi ikan, pentingnya konsumsi ikan untuk kesehatan, serta memberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan berbagai olahan ikan. metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dengan memberikan penjelasan, menjawab pertanyaan, diskusi dan tentang nilai gizi ikan dan praktek secara langsung aneka olahan ikan dengan sasaran siswa MAS Fatchul Qowim. Hasil yang dibuat dengan pengenalan beberapa metode mengelolah ikan salah satunya asap cair dan beberapa produk hasil olahan seperti fish roll, ikan asap cair, bandeng presto, dan bandeng goreng. Kata kunci: GEMARIKAN; gizi ikan; olahan ikan; pengabdian

Abstract

Potensi budidaya air tawar mulai digemari masyarakat pembudidaya dimana perikanan tangkap mulai mengalami overfishing.  Kabupaten Tuban memiliki potensi perikanan budidaya, salah satu pembudidaya air tawar yang ada yaitu di Kelurahan Perbon, Kabupaten Tuban. Kelompok Pembudidaya Ikan (Pokdakan) “Jabrisan Rumbuk Dadi Makmur” merupakan salah satu kelompok pembudidaya ikan lele yang terbentuk pada bulan November 2022 tetapi anggotanya rata-rata memulai budidaya dari tahun 2014. Kelompok yang terdiri dari 10 pembudidaya ini memiliki tujuan utama yaitu bersinergi dalam hal pemasaran, karena budidaya lele jika tidak paham akan triknya maka dipastikan tidak bisa bertahan. Permasalahan mitra yang ada saat ini adalah istri-istri pembudidaya rata-rata berprofesi sebagai ibu rumah tangga sehingga akan sangat disayangkan jika memiliki bahan untuk pembuatan olahan namun tidak dimanfaatkan. Pelatihan diawali dengan pemaparan materi, menyiapkan bahan-bahan olahan, praktik langsung pembuatan olahan ekado dan kaki naga, pengemasan dan pemasaran produk hasil olahan serta diakhiri dengan evaluasi.  Dari hasil angket peserta pelatihan peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 46.2% yaitu dari sebelum diadakan pelatihan 45% dan setelah diadakan pelatihan 91.2%, artinya bahwa ada peningkatan pengetahuan tentang materi dan praktek yang disampaikan dalam pelatihan.
