Abstract

Social mapping is a crucial step in effective community empowerment. This research combines the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) framework with the Sustainable Livelihood Approach (SLA) to analyze the potential of community assets in Employeesgi Village, Pulosari District, Pandeglang Regency. The research aims to identify key assets such as natural resources, human capital, social networks, financial capital, and infrastructure to support sustainable development. The research method involved secondary data collection, questionnaires, focus group discussions (FGD) surveys, and purposive sampling techniques with 64 respondents. The research results show that the employee village has good infrastructure assets but faces human and financial capital challenges. Integrating local potential with a targeted development approach produces strategic recommendations, including skills training, financial management, developing nature-based tourism, and improving waste management and transportation access. In conclusion, by optimally utilizing local assets, community empowerment can increase economic resilience and social cohesion while encouraging sustainable development.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of logotherapy techniques on the resilience of Muslim families, with family status and the number of dependents serving as demographic variables. The study sample consisted of 30 Muslim families in Banten province, Indonesia involving a total of 89 individuals. The sampling using the purposive sampling method consisted of 30 men (father or husband), 30 women (mother or wife), and 29 sons and/or daughters in terms of family status. The study employs a quantitative approach using inferential parametric statistics by using ANOVA. The results obtained indicate logotherapy counseling techniques, such as paradoxical intention, dereflection, and Socratic dialogue, have significantly increased the resilience of Muslim families in Banten. The Paradoxical Intention technique is significant for improving the legal basis dimension and the Dereflection technique is significant for improving the Psychosocial Resilience dimension. The combined technique of Paradoxical Intention and Socratic Dialogue is significant in improving the other three dimensions of Physical Resilience, Economic Resilience, and Family Social Resilience. More specifically, enhancing physical and economic resilience is best achieved using the paradoxical intention-Socratic dialogue, socio-family resilience with Socratic dialogue-dereflection, legality resilience with paradoxical intention, and socio-psychological resilience with dereflection. In the context of enhancing family resilience, husbands are best served using paradoxical intention-Socratic dialogue, wives by dereflection-Socratic dialogue, and children by paradoxical intention-Socratic dialogue. For families with only child dependents, the most suitable technique is paradoxical intention-Socratic dialogue, while for those with dependents that include children, parents, and/or other close family members, dereflection proves more appropriate.

Abstract

This study analyzes stakeholder satisfaction towards village financial governance in Serang Regency. A quantitative approach was employed, involving a survey of 400 respondents from various villages selected purposively based on Article 16 of the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration’s Regulation No. 21 of 2020. The data were collected using questionnaires with a Guttman scale. The research findings indicate that 59% of respondents are dissatisfied with village financial management, while 41% express satisfaction. The study highlights that public satisfaction towards financial governance is influenced by information transparency, participation in decision-making, program distribution, and direct benefits received. Male respondents report higher satisfaction than females due to more intensive involvement in village activities. Active participation enhances expectations and overall satisfaction among residents. However, disparities in benefit distribution of programs remain a challenge. To improve satisfaction, village governments must enhance transparency, increase community participation, and ensure a more equitable and impactful distribution of programs. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of improving village financial governance by strengthening transparency, fostering community engagement, ensuring fair program distribution, and enhancing community support to increase stakeholder satisfaction in financial management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya konsep STIFIn (Sensing, Thinking, Feeling, Intuiting, Feeling, Insting) yang merupakan sebuah konsep untuk mengidentifikasi kecerdasan manusia berdasarkan sistem operasi otak dominan dan dapat diketahui dengan memindai sidik jari. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana metode pembelajaran berdasarkan konsep STIFIn dalam buku I Know You School Karya Miss Hiday. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana metode pembelajaran berdasarkan konsep STIFIn dalam buku I Know You School Karya Miss Hiday. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif analisis dengan metode studi pustaka untuk menganalisis data dan informasi dari berbagai macam sumber literatur seperti buku-buku, majalah, dokumen karya ilmiah, dan lain-lain. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik analisis isi pada buku teks I Know You School Karya Miss Hiday. Hasil Penelitian ini, menunjukan adanya metode pembelajaran berdasarkan STIFIn yang terkandung dalam buku I Know You School Karya Miss Hiday meliputi (1) Sensing yaitu merekam, mencatat, mengulang, membuktikan, menulis kembali, mewarnai gambar, dan mudah mencontoh; (2) Thinking yaitu menilai, menganalisis, menyederhanakan, mengelola informasi, mensistematiskan data, dan menggunakan sebuah organizer grafik. (3) Intuiting yaitu ciptakan produk, buatlah eksperimen, ciptakan pertanyaan, beri ruang eksplorasi, konstruksikan imajinasi, perluas jangkauan persepsi, simulasi atau lakukan lakon pendek dan lucu; (4) Feeling yaitu katakan informasi itu kepada diri sendiri atau katakan dengan lantang, diskusikan dengan kelompok atau teman, ajari orang lain dengan penjelasan, komunikasi interaktif, lakukan wawancara, dengarkan rekaman, rekam tanggapan, dan berdebat; (5) Insting yaitu tunjukkan, gambarkan, beri ketenangan, gunakan post it-notes, fasilitasi keseimbangan, buatlah label atau kategorisasi, libatkan dalam aktivitas tolong menolong, gunakan huruf-huruf kertas pasir, dan kertas yang bisa diraba.

Abstract

Emotion regulation plays a vital role in students' academic success and character development. This study examines emotion regulation strategies from the perspectives of Islamic education and modern psychology, aiming to identify their similarities, differences, and implications for intervention programs. Using qualitative analysis, the research reveals that while both approaches share the objective of enhancing individual well-being, they differ in methods and theoretical foundations. The integration of emotion regulation into educational practices through structured training and intervention programs has been shown to strengthen students' ability to manage their emotions, positively influencing their academic performance and character growth. The findings emphasize the significance of combining Islamic educational values with effective psychological strategies, as well as the necessity of community support in the emotion regulation process. This study offers recommendations for a comprehensive intervention program that not only enriches students' learning experiences but also equips them to navigate life's challenges more effectively. Ultimately, it contributes to a deeper understanding of emotion regulation in education and paves the way for further research in this field.

Abstract

Perubahan yang canggih telah merasuki hampir setiap aspek kehidupan, termasuk struktur dan unsur keluarga. Fleksibilitas keluarga saat ini dihadapkan pada tantangan baru yang muncul akibat penetrasi inovasi teknologi, seperti kecanduan gadget, interaksi yang minim antaranggota keluarga, dan krisis dalam aspek pengasuhan anak. Dalam konteks ini, konseling keluarga muncul sebagai metode intervensi yang relevan untuk mempertahankan kesepakatan, meningkatkan komunikasi, dan membangun nilai-nilai fleksibilitas di dalam keluarga. Artikel ini merupakan kajian konseptual yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peran konseling keluarga dalam memperkuat fleksibilitas keluarga di era digital. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan menganalisis literatur nasional yang relevan dari tahun 2020 hingga 2025. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa konseling keluarga dapat berfungsi sebagai alat kunci dalam menangani konflik digital, mengembangkan fleksibilitas mental keluarga, dan mendukung perkembangan komunikasi yang percaya diri dan empati. Kesimpulannya, konseling keluarga dapat menjadi pilar penting dalam mengatasi tantangan dan memanfaatkan peluang yang berkembang di era digital.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas kegiatan pengenalan warisan budaya yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Internasional UIN SMH Banten di Sekolah Indonesia Mekkah. Dalam upaya pengenalan warisan budaya Indonesia, khususnya batik, menjadi penting dalam konteks globalisasi yang dapat mengancam keberadaan budaya lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi upaya mahasiswa KKN Internasional UIN SMH Banten dalam mengenalkan batik jumputan kepada siswa Sekolah Indonesia Mekkah. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif yang melibatkan mahasiswa KKN Internasional UIN SMH Banten serta siswa Sekolah Indonesia Mekkah (SIM) dalam kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan batik jumputan dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara, serta dokumentasi kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini tidak hanya berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang teknik pembuatan batik, tetapi juga menumbuhkan rasa cinta dan bangga terhadap budaya Indonesia. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dalam proses pembelajaran dan berhasil menciptakan karya batik jumputan yang unik. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model dalam upaya pelestarian budaya di kalangan generasi muda, serta memperkuat identitas budaya Indonesia di luar negeri.

Abstract

The Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages grants villages the authority to govern themselves, and the government allocates village funds for their implementation. In Serang Regency, there are issues regarding the ineffective governance of village funds, characterized by the low quality of human resources for public services, lack of transparency and accountability, and insufficient community empowerment programs. This study aims to emphasize the urgency of improving the governance of village funds towards better governance in Serang Regency. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive method. Key informants come from relevant agencies in Serang Regency, the Inspectorate, and civil society organizations, with information gathered through observations and focused group discussions. The research findings indicate that only the dimensions of resource management and governance process are categorized as sufficient, while decision-making, collaboration with the private sector, and other governance principles still need improvement. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the governance of village funds in Serang Regency requires urgent strengthening.

Abstract

Arabic Language Education study program students at IAIN Palangka Raya are prospective Arabic teachers who are prepared to have foreign language competence, but students still experience difficulties for various reasons. It makes all PBA Education study program lecturers simultaneously implement several activities in selected subjects to build literacy in reading books in foreign languages, both Arabic and English. This research aims to describe the process carried out by lecturers in building reading literacy of foreign language books, either Arabic or English, on PBA students in IAIN Palangka Raya. This research used the descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected from the interview, observation, and documentation, then further analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and verification, and validated with the triangulation method. The initial result of this research indicated that the lecturers do various activities to build students’ reading literacy, those are: introducing reading references in Arabic and English language, explaining the advantages of reading these references to the students, giving insight into reading steps, assigning students to review the references, and assisting students in composing and publishing scientific papers. This research suggests writing literacy for students and further research on different subjects and locations.

Abstract

Islamic boarding school is an Islamic educational institution with a dormitory system, which is considered to have a conducive learning environment to shape the character and application of Islamic teaching values to students in their daily lives. One of the values applied in Islamic boarding schools is the five souls, namely the spirit of the boarding school which is the foundation and guide for behavior. However, with the rapid development of the times and science and technology, many problems and errors in thinking patterns have emerged regarding the education provided by Islamic boarding schools, including the Al-Hasyimiyah Modern Islamic Boarding School. Therefore, this research aims to analyze in more depth the implementation of the five soul values of modern Islamic boarding schools to shape the character of the students of Al-Hasyimiyah modern Islamic boarding school. In its implementation, the researcher used a qualitative case study type method, which used primary data sources obtained from participant observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the five souls implemented by the Al-Hasyimiyah Modern Islamic Boarding School are sincerity, simplicity, independence, Islamic brotherhood, and freedom. The implementation of the five souls of modern Islamic boarding school is to form the independence of the students' productive economic efforts of class 6 KMI students at the Al-Hasyimiyah Modern Islamic Boarding School through daily activities at the Islamic boarding school and the example of the religious teachers. These activities are actualized in the form of daily to annual activity programs.
