Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pergeseran peran suami dan istri dalam membangun keluarga harmonis ditinjau dari hukum Islam dan konsep Feminisme. Menariknya, sebagian masyarakat Padangsidimpuan hanya mempunyai pekerjaaan serabutan (tidak jelas). Keluarga semakin dituntut untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan rumah tangga sesuai kemampuannya, sehingga beberapa kepala keluarga (suami) memutuskan untuk bekerja di luar kota (merantau) untuk bisa memenuhinya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep yang digunakan dalam membangun keluarga ideal adalah setiap keluarga harus memenuhi kebutuhan fisiologis, rasa nyaman atau perlindungan, rasa kasih sayang, rasa saling menghargai dan memenuhi kebutuhan aktualisasi diri (bagi suami dan istri). Kelima kebutuhan tersebut tidak dapat dilaksanakan dengan ideal, karena kesulitan membagi waktu dalam menjalankan peran (menjadi ganda), dan akhirnya tidak bisa memberikan keturunan (hifz nasl). Oleh karenanya, maqasid syariah memandang bahwa untuk mengindari terjadinya peran ganda dalam rumah tangga maka suami dan istri harus bekerja sama dalam hal apapun, termasuk memenuhi nafkah (hifz mal) dalam keluarga, biaya pendidikan anak, dan merawat anak (hadhanah). Abstract

This study aims to determine the best model and method for forecasting the growth of sukuk investment in Indonesia and to forecast the growth of Sovereign Sukuk investment seven years ahead, precisely at the end of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program in 2030. This quantitative study uses Sovereign Sukuk data from 2009 to 2023 obtained from Bank Indonesia (BI). The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling, which uses 179 monthly data on Indonesian Sovereign Sukuk investment. The data analysis in this study uses the eviews 10 application with an econometric approach. The results of this study analysis show that the best method for forecasting sukuk investment growth in Indonesia is ARIMA Box Jenskins with the ARIMA (7,1,1) model. The growth value of Indonesian Sovereign Sukuk investment after forecasting for the next seven years continues to increase yearly. This is triggered by the increasing public awareness to contribute to Indonesia's development. The peak growth in Sovereign Sukuk investment is predicted to occur in 2030 at the end of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda, showing a figure of Rp. 1.167.071.086.806.520. This condition should be a concern to the government, so that Sovereign Sukuk can be utilised to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program in Indonesia.

Abstract

Mobile banking has transformed banking services, yet the adoption of Islamic mobile banking in North Padang Lawas Regency remains low. This study examines the impact of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, price value, habit, and personal innovation on behavioral intention and user behavior. Using a quantitative approach, 200 respondents were selected through random sampling, and data were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) via WarpPLS 7.0. Results show that performance expectancy (β = 0.508, p < 0.001), price value (β = 0.200, p = 0.002), habit (β = 0.248, p < 0.001), and personal innovation (β = 0.152, p = 0.014) significantly influence behavioral intention, while effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, and hedonic motivation do not. Behavioral intention (β = 0.293, p < 0.001) positively impacts user behavior, with facilitating conditions (β = 0.234, p < 0.001) and habit (β = 0.136, p = 0.024) also contributing, but personal innovation showing no effect. Additionally, behavioral intention does not mediate the influence of facilitating conditions, habit, or personal innovation on user behavior. These findings highlight the importance of emphasizing perceived usefulness, affordability, and habitual engagement to boost Islamic mobile banking adoption in the region.

Abstract

This study examines the multidimensional dynamics of extreme poverty alleviation in Padangsidimpuan City, Indonesia, within the framework of Islamic economics. The Sustainable Livelihood Framework (SLF) approach is used as the analytical framework, with Amartya Sen's Capability Approach Theory as the theoretical basis. This study aims to understand how social, institutional, economic, and spiritual capital interact in shaping community resilience and access to basic welfare. The method used is qualitative-empirical with data collection through semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders, such as local government officials, religious leaders, zakat management institutions, and poor households. The analysis was conducted using a thematic content analysis approach. The results of the study show that poverty in Padangsidimpuan is exacerbated by structural limitations, such as limited access to productive assets, weak institutional coordination, and a fragile social protection system. However, the integration of Islamic philanthropic instruments such as zakat, infaq, and waqf into poverty alleviation programs, especially through community-based empowerment models, can significantly increase the economic capability and dignity of beneficiaries. This study emphasizes the importance of value-based governance and synergy between state institutions and religious institutions in addressing extreme poverty sustainably. Scientifically, this study contributes to the development of literature by offering a contextual poverty alleviation model rooted in Islamic economic values, local wisdom, and participatory development paradigms. Practically, this study provides policy recommendations for integrating religious-based economic interventions into the national poverty alleviation framework. These findings provide applicable insights for policymakers and development practitioners in formulating culturally relevant and structurally effective strategies to eradicate extreme poverty.

Abstract

This article posits that families of interfaith couples (Muslims and Christianity/Catholicism) can achieve a state of happiness. Research data were obtained through in-depth interviews with married couples comprising one Indonesian and a British partner, aged between 25 and 40 years, residing in Indonesia and the United Kingdom, and representing diverse religious and cultural backgrounds The study revealed that the Islamic concept of sakīnah family embodies a totality of mercy (raḥmah) and love (mawaddah) inherently present in each couple's heart. The findings suggest that happiness in interreligious or interfaith marriages can be attributed to the profound love shared by the spouses. Love can develop and grow in a romantic, intimate, passionate, and committed relationship, provided there is a willingness to accept responsibility for maintaining it. Accordingly, these research findings may have implications for a new understanding of the sakīnah family, which, thus far, has been based upon the standard of couples having a common faith in a same-religion marriage. Nonetheless, further studies are needed to investigate whether couples in interfaith and interreligious marriages continue to lead happy lives in their old age.AbstrakArtikel ini menjelaskan bahwa keluarga pasangan beda agama (Muslim dan Kristen/Katolik) bisa mencapai kehidupan yang bahagia. Data penelitian diperoleh dari wawancara mendalam dengan pasangan dari latar belakang agama dan budaya yang berbeda berusia 25-40 tahun yang berasal dari Indonesia dan Inggris. Penelitian menemukan bahwa konsep keluarga sakinah dalam ajaran Islam adalah totalitas rahmat (raḥmah) atau cinta (mawaddah) yang ada dan melekat dalam hati setiap pasangan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebahagiaan dalam hubungan suami istri dalam perkawinan beda agama dapat ditemukan karena besarnya rasa cinta yang dimiliki oleh pasangan tersebut. Cinta dapat tumbuh dan berkembang dalam suatu hubungan yang bersifat romantis, intim, penuh gairah dan komitmen serta kesediaan menerima tanggung jawab untuk menjaga hubungan. Dengan demikian, temuan penelitian ini memiliki implikasi pada pemahaman baru tentang keluarga sakinah, yang, sejauh ini, telah didasarkan pada standar pasangan yang memiliki keyakinan yang sama dalam pernikahan sesama agama. Meskipun demikian, studi lebih lanjut di masa depan diperlukan untuk mengamati apakah pasangan pernikahan beda agama dan antaragama masih menjalani kehidupan yang bahagia di usia tua mereka?

Abstract

This article examines language disorders and how the Islamic perspective views them. It is extraordinary that Islam contains all fields of science, and especially linguistics in the focus of this article. Islam does not only focus on studying religious issues but concerns all elements of life, including science. Therefore, this article was written based on the extraordinary nature of Islam in regulating everything.Data processing techniques in research are, by observing, reviewing, recording and collecting relevant data that is in accordance with the object of study in this research. In the use of verbal communication, each of us is equipped with language skills, but these abilities are not always the same, some are normal and some are abnormal. Not only opinions about the relationship between language and thought are discussed by Psycholinguistics/Neurolinguistics experts, religious perspectives also analyze and participate in the study of language and thought. When viewed from a religious perspective, the study of language and thought which was then based on the revelation of the Qur'an led to different interpretations of the meaningful content with the insights of experts from each period. Keywords: Language Disorders, Neurolinguistics, Islamic Perspective

Abstract

There is a trend among Muslims, especially married couples, not to or delay having children. Meanwhile, having children horizontally is one of the main goals of marriage to continue the human race. This literature research used secondary data which were collected in two ways: manually and online. Manual data comprised information derived from major books on marriage, maqasid al-shari’a, and others. Online data were acquired in the form of articles attributed to research themes using an open journal system. The collected data were subsequently analyzed through data reduction, data display, and verification techniques. This research found that the goal of marriage in Islamic law referred to both horizontal and vertical aspects. Vertically, marriage aimed to display one’s level of allegiance to God, who created him. This obedience was accompanied by a faith test in the shape of the ability to restrict and control desires in the face of the magnitude of human sexuality’s challenges and God’s call to produce pious offspring. Horizontally, the aim of marriage was directly tied to oneself, others, and the surrounding environment. Marriage, in this perspective, served a social function by creating a communal family. Families could be formed and developed when there were children and offspring. As a result, the presence of children in a marriage is essential for establishing society, nation, and civilization, because those all cannot exist without children.

Abstract

Abstract: This article examines the practice of expelling perpetrators muhshan in the Panyabungan society, which normatively (Islamic law) should be punished by stoning. This phenomenon is fascinating to study because the Panyabungan people are Islamic followers who are very fanatical and have a strong religion. This article is based on field data supplemented by library data. Three fundamental issues are examined in this article, namely the process of enforcing customary law for adulterers muhshan in Panyabungan society, the argument for the application of expulsion punishment to adulterers' muhshan, and how Islamic law views the practice of expulsion in the case of adultery. Uses a normative and sociological approach this article finds the fact that the practice of expulsion of adulterers muhshan in Panyabungan is enforced if the perpetrator has been proven to have committed adultery. The practice of expelling the perpetrators of muhshan adultery is carried out for two reasons: following the traditions or customs that have been in effect and the impossibility of applying the stoning law in Indonesia. This article also finds evidence that the purpose of imposing the penalty of expulsion for adulterers muhshan in Panyabungan is to give a deterrent effect to the perpetrators of adultery and, at the same time as a preventive measure for people not to commit adultery. In addition, the punishment is also intended to maintain the excellent name and cleanliness of the village from disobedience acts. Abstrak: Artikel ini mengkaji praktik pengusiran terhadap pelaku zina muhshan dalam masyarakat Panyabungan yang secara normatif (hukum Islam) seharusnya diberi hukuman rajam. Fenomena ini sangat menarik untuk dikaji karena masyarakat Panyabungan pada dasarnya termasuk penganut Islam yang sangat fanatis dan kuat beragama. Artikel ini didasaran pada data-data lapangan yang dilengkapi dengan data-data kepustakaan. Ada tiga persoalan mendasar yang dikaji dalam artikel ini, yakni proses pemberlakuan hukum adat bagi pelaku zina muhshan pada masyarakat Panyabungan, argumen diterapkannya hukuman pengusiran terhadap pelaku zina muhshan, dan bagaimana hukum Islam memandang praktik hukuman pengusiran dalam kasus perzinahan tersebut. Menggunakan pendekatan normatif sosiologis, artikel ini menemukan fakta bahwa praktik pengusiran terhadap pelaku zina muhshan di Panyabungan diberlakukan apabila pelaku telah terbukti melakukan perzinahan. Praktik hukuman pengusiran terhadap pelaku zina muhshan tersebut dilakukan karena dua alasan, yakni mengikuti tradisi atau adat-istiadat yang telah berlaku dan tidak dimungkinkannya penerapan hukum rajam di Indonesia. Artikel ini juga menemukan bukti bahwa perapan hukuman pengusiran bagi pelaku zina muhshan di Panyabungan dimaksudkan untuk memberikan efek jera kepada para pelaku zina dan sekaligus sebagai upaya preventif bagi masyarakat supaya tidak melakukan perzinahan. Selain itu, hukuman tersebut juga dimaksudkan untuk menjaga nama baik dan kebersihan desa dari tindakan kemaksiatan.
