Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada The Stones Hotel Legian Bali ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan standard operating procedure sequence of service buffet breakfast di departemen food and beverage service The Stones Legian Bali. Metode penelitian pada penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang berupa observasi pengamatan langsung, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dari observasi yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa sebanyak 13 poin SOP (86,66%) sudah dilakukan dengan baik dan sebanyak 2 poin SOP (13,33%) belum dilakukan dengan baik dari Jumlah total sebanyak 15 poin. Adapun 2 poin SOP yang belum dilakukan dengan baik yaitu mebuka napkin untuk mengetahui bahwa tamu sudah berada di meja dan menanyakan kepuasan tamu.” How was your breakfast so far, everything good for your breakfast?” lalu menawarkan kopi atau teh kembali apabila sudah habis dan menanyakan hal apa yang perlu dibantu dengan hasil penelitian ini maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar SOP sudah diterapkan dengan baik oleh pramusaji. This research was conducted at The Stones Hotel Legian Bali with the purpose of finding out how the standard operating procedure sequence of service buffet breakfast is implemented in the food and beverage service department of The Stones Legian Bali. The research method in this research uses descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of direct observation, interviews and documentation. The research results from the observations carried out showed that 13 SOP points (86.66%) had been carried out well and 2 SOP points (13.33%) had not been carried out well out of a total of 15 points. "There are 2 SOP points that have not been implemented properly, namely opening the napkin to find out that the guest is already at the table and asking about the guest's satisfaction." How was your breakfast so far, everything is good for your breakfast?” then offer coffee or tea again when it is finished and ask what needs help with the results of this research, it can be concluded that most of the SOP have been implemented well by the waiters/waitress.

Abstract

Komunikasi memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam proses evaluasi kinerja karyawan di berbagai perusahaan atau organisasi. Dalam konteks lingkungan kerja, komunikasi yang efektif memiliki dampak signifikan pada pengakuan dan apresiasi terhadap kinerja karyawan yang luar biasa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di The Stones Hotel – Legian Bali, Autograph Collection sebagai objek penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai pengaruh komunikasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di The Stones – Legian Bali, Autograph Collection. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan 102 responden sebagai sampel. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mencakup data primer dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan survei menggunakan skala Likert, dan analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi dan kinerja karyawan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Dengan kata lain, semakin efektif komunikasi yang digunakan oleh karyawan di The Stones Hotel – Legian Bali, Autograph Collection, semakin tinggi kinerja karyawan di hotel tersebut. Communication plays a highly crucial role in the employee performance evaluation process in various companies or organizations. In a workplace context, effective communication has a significant impact on the recognition and appreciation of outstanding employee performance. This research was conducted at The Stones Hotel - Legian Bali, Autograph Collection, as the research subject. The aim of this study is to assess the influence of communication on employee performance at The Stones Hotel - Legian Bali, Autograph Collection. This research employed a quantitative research method with 102 respondents as the sample. The method employed for sampling was simple random sampling based on the utilization of the Slovin formula. Data sources used in this study encompassed include primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out through a survey using a Likert scale, and the data were processed using SPSS software. The results of this research indicate that both communication and employee performance have a positive and significant. In other words, the more effective the communication used by employees at The Stones Hotel - Legian Bali, Autograph Collection, the higher the employee performance at the hotel.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia bekerja dengan baik jika berada pada posisi yang sesuai dengan minat atau kemampuannya. Hal ini menjadikan bagaimana manajemen sumber daya manusia bisa mengelola karyawan dengan baik dan menumbuhkembangkan perusahaan dalam mencapai hasil yang telah ditetapkan. Tujuan riset ini yakni demi mencaritahu dampak motivasi dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di PT Sobek Telaga Waja. Penelitian dilakukan antara Februari 2022 hingga Juli 2022. Dengan sampel 53 orang karyawan PT Sobek Telaga Waja atau keseluruhan dari populasi. Data diolah berdasarkan tanggapan lengkap dari 53 orang responden. PT Sobek Telaga Waja menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif baik dari motivasi ataupun kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawannya secara parsial, artinya jika motivasi dan kepuasan kerja ditingkatkan lagi maka kinerja dari karyawan juga akan mengalami peningkatan. Human resources work well when the positions they fill match their interests or skills. This makes how human resource management can manage employees well and develop the company in achieving the results that have been set. The purpose of this study is to find out the impact of motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT Sobek Telaga Waja. The study was conducted between February 2022 and July 2022. With a sample of 53 employees of PT Sobek Telaga Waja or the entire population. The data is processed based on the complete responses of 53 respondents. PT Sobek Telaga Waja shows a significant and positive influence both from motivation and job satisfaction on their employee performance, This means that if motivation and job satisfaction improve, so does employee performance.

Abstract

Studi ini dilakukan untuk melihat dampak dari pengalaman kerja dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di Hotel Suriwathi. Penelitian dilakukan dari bulan Maret hingga Juli 2022. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan instrumen penelitian kuesioner dan wawancara. Menggunakan sampling jenuh 31 responden yang merupakan semua karyawan hotel Suriwathi. Menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, menunjukkan pengalaman kerja dan kompensasi berpengaruh positif signifikan secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan di Hotel Suriwathi. This study was conducted to see the impact of work experience and compensation on employee performance at Hotel Suriwathi. The research was conducted from March to July 2022. Using a quantitative approach with questionnaires and interviews as research instruments. Using saturated sampling 31 respondents who are all employees of Suriwathi hotel. Using multiple linear regression analysis, it shows that work experience and compensation have a partially significant positive effect on employee performance at Suriwathi Hotel.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi pemasaran strategi alternatif yang harus dilakukan pada media sosial Instagram Hotel Canggu Dream Village. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Maret-Juni 2023 dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dalam pengelolaan Instagram, hotel menggunakan strategi bauran pemasaran advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relation, dan direct marketing. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis menggunakan metode SWOT. Adapun dari hasil analisis ini didapatkan hasil berupa posisi penggunaan Instragram sebagai media pemasaran Hotel Canggu Dream Village terletak pada kuadran I, yaitu agresif. Posisi ini memiliki arti bahwa strategi pemasaran hotel berada pada situasi yang menguntungkan karena dapat memanfaatkan kekuatan dan peluang. Adapun strategi alternatif yang dapat dilakukan oleh hotel adalah mengadakan event melalui Instagram dengan lebih sering, rutin mengupdate dan mengupload fasilitas terbaru, melakukan perekrutan tenaga kerja yang handal dan sudah berpengalaman untuk memegang social media marketing. Untuk saat ini hotel juga harus dapat memanfaatkan fitur gratis yang ada pada Instagram dengan lebih maksimal dan mulai menyiapkan budget untuk fitur berbayar, serta membeli sarana prasarana pendukung seperti kamera, microphone, lighting.This study aims to determine the implementation of alternative marketing strategies that must be carried out on Instagram Hotel Canggu Dream Village social media. This research was conducted in March-June 2023 with a qualitative descriptive research type and used data collection methods in the form of questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are that in managing Instagram, hotels use advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, and direct marketing marketing mix strategies. Furthermore, an analysis was carried out using the SWOT method. As for the results of this analysis, the results obtained are the position of using Instragram as a marketing medium for Hotel Canggu Dream Village which is located in quadrant I, which is aggressive. This position means that the hotel's marketing strategy is in a favorable situation because it can take advantage of strengths and opportunities. The alternative strategies that can be carried out by hotels are holding events via Instagram more frequently, regularly updating and uploading the latest facilities, recruiting reliable and experienced workforce to handle social media marketing. For now, hotels must also be able to take full advantage of the free features available on Instagram and start preparing a budget for paid features, as well as buying supporting infrastructure such as cameras, microphones, lighting.

Abstract

This research discusses the problem of the low quality of tourism services in Bali, which impacts the decrease in tourist satisfaction and destination competitiveness. This is caused by the lack of competence of tourism human resources, both in terms of knowledge, skills, and professional attitude. The lack of continuous training and development is also a factor hindering the improvement of human resource quality. Based on this, this study aims to identify the inhibiting factors for the development of tourism human resources in Bali, analyze effective human resource development models, and formulate strategies for optimizing the governance of tourist destinations through sustainable human resource development. This research uses a qualitative approach with case studies in several tourist destinations in Bali. Stakeholders involved in data collection were interviewed thoroughly through interviews with tourist destination managers, tourism businesses, and tourists. The results of the research show that the development of tourism human resources in Bali needs to be focused on improving technical and non-technical competencies, increasing motivation and job satisfaction, and developing an integrated training and certification system. Strategies for optimizing the governance of tourist destinations include increasing the role of the government in providing training and facilitation, increasing cooperation between stakeholders, and developing an effective monitoring and evaluation system. It is hoped that this research will help develop policies and strategies for the development of tourism human resources in Bali to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of tourist destinations.

Abstract

The development of Sangeh Tourism Village faces strategic challenges arising from unequal tourism development across Badung Regency and the increasing phenomenon of overtourism in South Badung. Although endowed with strong natural and cultural potential, Sangeh has not yet been optimally managed, particularly in terms of governance, promotion, and the integration of cultural values into its tourism products. This study aims to formulate development strategies to establish Sangeh as a sustainable cultural tourism village and to design a management model that integrates economic, social, cultural, and environmental dimensions. The research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach through field observations, in-depth interviews, and a review of relevant regulations on tourism village development. The findings reveal that institutional strengthening, cultural-based product innovation, digital promotion, and multi-stakeholder collaboration are key strategies to enhance the village's competitiveness. Additionally, the proposed sustainable tourism village development model emphasizes a balanced approach to community empowerment, cultural preservation, environmental protection, and local economic growth. These results are expected to serve as a reference for government bodies, tourism village managers, and stakeholders in designing sustainable development policies and programs for Sangeh Tourism Village.

Abstract

This Community Service provides a deeper understanding of the Management and the ranks of teaching staff and employees in the Green School environment, under the auspices of the Kulkul Foundation. The problem faced is maintaining the sustainability of the green environment in a climate change situation as well as the use of surrounding natural resources for environmentally friendly energy. Based on the problems faced by the Kulkul Foundation, the Applied Doctoral Program in Tourism Business of the Institute of Tourism and International Business, through the Post-Director provides knowledge to overcome the problems faced. The purpose of this Community Service is to improve the ability and knowledge of all ranks of Green Schools in maintaining and managing the green environment in a sustainable manner.
