Abstract

Improving students' academic achievement in Indonesian language studies at madrasas requires effective writing evaluations. This study explores how Islamic behavior and self-esteem attribution among Indonesian language teachers at Madrasas influence their approach to creating writing assessments using a phenomenological method. Through in-depth interviews with twenty teachers, the thematic analysis revealed that teachers' Islamic values provide a religious framework that shapes their understanding and application of assessment development. Teachers' evaluations incorporate moral and religious principles, reflecting on their self-worth and the intrinsic value of students' written work. Islamic behavior and the attribution of self-esteem enhance teachers' commitment to fair, reflective assessments, which ultimately support students' literacy and academic growth. The study suggests that embedding Islamic behavior and self-esteem attribution in writing assessments strengthens teacher development and student success in Indonesian language studies. Future studies could further explore the role of these factors in teacher preparation and assessment practices in Indonesian madrasas.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas butir soal ujian semester ganjil mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas XI di SMAN 2 bangko pusako tahun ajaran 2023/2024 ditinjau dari daya beda, tingkat kesukaran, dan pengecoh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal ujian semester ganjil bahasa Indonesia kelas XI, kunci jawaban, dan hasil jawaban siswa. Analisis data menggunakan bantuan aplikasi Anates versi 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan tingkat kesukaran soal, terdapat 17 (57%) soal kategori mudah, 9 (30%) soal kategori sedang, dan 4 (13%) soal kategori sukar. Berdasarkan daya beda, terdapat 6 (20%) soal berkategori jelek, 14 (47%) soal berkategori sedang, dan 10 (33%) soal kategori baik. Berdasarkan kualitas pengecoh terdapat 67% efektif, dan 33% tidak efektif. Soal dengan kategori yang buruk akan mengalami perbaikan dan revisi agar sesuai dengan kualitas yang diharapkan, sedangkan soal dengan kategori yang baik bisa digunakan kembali sebagai soal evaluasi berikutnya.

Abstract

Pantun is important to study in the digital era because pantun is an intangible cultural heritage that needs to be preserved because it contains many values ​​and politeness in terms of language. Pantun is known to be widely used by people in the Classical Malay era which is said to be different from the use of pantun in the digital era where pantun is now rarely used by people. In reality, pantun in the digital era is widely used by people from various circles. This study aims to describe and explain the differences in users of Malay pantun in the Classical Malay era and pantun in the digital era. The form of this research is descriptive qualitative research using a phenomenological strategy. The data sources for this study are Classical Malay pantun collection books, pantun found on social media, pantun collection books in the digital era and from informants. Data collection techniques in this study are document studies, observations, questionnaires, and interviews. Data validation uses method triangulation techniques, theory triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis uses interactive data analysis including data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The  results of the study concluded that there were differences in pantun users in the Classical Malay era and the digital era. The difference in terms of users is based on the use of pantun in various situations, namely persona users, pantun, chanters and storytellers. In addition, pantun, which was originally an oral tradition, has become digital content in the digital era.

Abstract

This study was motivated by children's low interest in reading storybooks available at school. Although the books presented are interesting and good, they do not offer many bilingual storybooks to introduce local culture. This study aims to describe the readability level of bilingual children's storybooks by involving teachers and students to encourage their interest in reading. This study uses a descriptive-quantitative method. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The sample used consisted of 65 respondents, comprising 40 teachers and 25 students. The results of this study indicate that the readability level of bilingual children's storybooks from the teachers' perspective can be described in four aspects: the readability of bilingual storybooks in terms of material (80.34%); presentation (80.87%); graphics (77.79%); and language (72.87%). Overall, the readability level of storybooks from the perception of B-2 level students was in the Very Good category. This means that the readability level of storybooks is easy for students to understand. Based on the findings of this study, the readability level of bilingual storybooks is suitable for use by students to learn about the regional languages of various ethnic groups, thereby developing students' literacy skills through a love of reading storybooks.

Abstract

Anak-anak merupakan generasi penerus bangsa. Oleh karena itu, dalam suatu bangsa harus mempersiapkan masa depan anak-anak melalui pendidikan yang tepat. Pendidikan tidak hanya sebagai kegiatan pentrasferan ilmu akan tetapi juga pengembangan karakter dan kemampuan diri anak. Kemampuan untuk bersosialisasi dan mengemukakan pendapat secara lisan merupakan kemampuan yang wajib dikembangan dari dalam diri anak. Salah satu metode yang dipergunakan dalam pendidikan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara dan bersosialisasi anak adalah metode bermain peran. Penelitian ini fokus terhadap investigasi pada pengaruh metode bermain peran makro terhadap kemampuan berbicara anak. Ini adalah merupak penelitian eksperimen, sedangkan pengumpulan data dalam penelitianju ini adalah observasi dengan menggunakan skala-skala yang akan mengukur kemampuan berbicara anak. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 17,0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan metode bermain peran makro terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berbicara anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Pembina 2 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendah nya kemampuan berbahasa anak Taman Kanak-Kanak Islam Bina Insan Kamil Kecamatan Bukit Raya Pekanbaru, hal ini dapat diketahui dari hasil pengamatan pada data awal kemampuan bahasa anak adalah belum berkembang yaitu sebanyak 59,8% dengan arti kata kemampuan bahasa anak masih rendah. Perumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah penggunaan media sketsa dapat meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa anak Usia 5–6 Tahun di Taman Kanak-Kanak Islam Bina Insan Kamil Kecamatan Bukit Raya Pekanbaru? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan media sketsa dapat meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa anak Usia 5–6 Tahun di Taman Kanak-Kanak Islam Bina Insan Kamil Kecamatan Bukit Raya Pekanbaru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) dengan jumlah sampel anak sebanyak 23 orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan data pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, Perkembangan bahasa Anak Usia 5 – 6 Tahun di Taman Kanak-Kanak Islam Bina Insan Kamil Kecamatan Bukit Raya Pekanbaru dapat ditingkatkan dengan media sketsa Perkembangan bahasa Anak Usia 5 – 6 Tahun di Taman Kanak-Kanak Islam Bina Insan Kamil Kecamatan Bukit Raya Pekanbaru pada data awal diperoleh skor 278 dengan persentase 37.8%, pada siklus I memperoleh skor 475 (64,5%) dengan kiteria mulai berkembang. Terjadi peningkatan Perkembangan bahasa pada anak usia 5-6 tahun pada siklus II dengan skor 556 (75,5%) dengan kiteria berkembang sangat baik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan yang signifikan Kecerdasan Linguistik dengan Kemampuan Berbahasa Peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri 15 Kota Pekanbaru. Masalah penelitian yang ditemui dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berbahasa peserta didik di SMA Negeri 15 Kota Pekanbaru. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode korelasi (Arikunto, 2010). Populasinya adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X yang berjumlah 180 orang. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 80 orang sebagai data penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis Statistik Versi 20. Hasil penelitian tentang hubungan kecerdasan linguistik dengan kemampuan berbahasa peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri 15 Kota Pekanbaru. Hasil uji validitas dan reabilitas diperoleh 0.882>0.6 dan 0.903>0.6 ini berarti instrument yang digunakan reliable. Kesimpulannya bahwa koefisien korelasi Pearson Product Moment antara dua variabel yaitu variabel kecerdasan linguistik (X) dan variabel kemampuan berbahasa (Y). tersebut diperoleh nilai probabilitas Sig.(2-tailed) lebih kecil dari 0,05 yaitu 0,000 < 0,05, maka Ho ditolak. Artinya ada hubungan yang signifikansi antara kecerdasan linguistik dengan kemampuan berbahasa peserta didik. Jadi hubungan antara kecerdasan linguistik dengan kemampuan berbahasa peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru sebesar 0,790. Nilai korelasi ini dapat diinterpretasikan dengan kriteria tingkat hubungannya kuat.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia, especially in Riau, faces big challenges in realizing national character and identity amidst cultural diversity and local values. One effort to achieve this goal is through the implementation of the Pancasila student profile, which is a guideline in shaping student character and personality. The Pancasila student profile aims to create a generation that is not only academically intelligent but also has characters that are in line with Pancasila values. Based on this, the aim of this research is to identify and analyze the profile values ​​of Pancasila students in local wisdom-based narrative texts in Riau. This research is qualitative research using the content analysis method. The data sources for this research are Riau folk tales, namely the story of Putri Tujuh from Dumai City, the story of Batu Belah Batu Betangkup from Indragiri Hilir Regency, and the story of Si Lancang from Kampar Regency. Research data is in the form of phrases, sentences, or quotes that indicate the profile of Pancasila students. The research procedures include determining research objectives and focus, selecting data, reading and recognizing data (familiarization), developing categories or coding schemes, coding data, analyzing themes and patterns, interpreting results, and reporting findings. The results of this research show that there is an implementation of the Pancasila profile in local wisdom-based narrative texts in Riau, including faith and devotion to God Almighty, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity.

Abstract

Riau Malay culture is a culture with various traditions. One of them is the Basiacuong oral tradition in the bakampuong nemo event. The purpose of this research is to describe the structure, the literary genre, and the message contained in basiacuong bakampuong nemo in Batu Belah village. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. This research includes ethnographic research. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis with interviews and observations. The study results show that the first basiacuong structure is the opener. The second structure is content; this structure discusses the application and sign of application. The third structure is the closing which ends with the open cello, which means dissolving the event and going home. Furthermore, for the basiacuong genre in Bakampung Nemo, there are three types: the Traditional Expression genre with 20 data, the Parable genre with 14 data, and the Pantun genre with 8 data. Finally, the mandate contained in basiacuong bakampung nemo, namely that you should follow the example that was imposed by the link mamak and the people of the house because there is an attitude of respect and the way you look polite both in terms of answering and asking questions.

Abstract

The assessment of writing skills is very important for improving students' academic performance in the Indonesian language. The phenomenological method is used in this research to investigate the psychosocial involvement of Indonesian language teachers in developing writing skills assessments. Primary data sources consist of interviews with informants, results from field observations, and documents related to the research findings, while secondary data sources consist of written materials relevant to the research results. The data in this study were collected through non-participatory passive observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This research involves twenty Indonesian language teachers to uncover how teachers use writing skill assessments. The results of this study indicate that the development of writing assessment skills for Indonesian language teachers involving psychosocial aspects can mean that Indonesian language teachers need to have a strong understanding that incorporates psychosocial elements. The psychosocial teacher offers a narrative framework to motivate religious values and Islamic behavior that helps individuals articulate their experiences. The assessment of writing skills in Indonesian language learning is influenced by personal moral and spiritual involvement, concepts of life principles, experiences, and literature. These psychosocial principles are given by God to the assessment of writing in the Indonesian language and literature, which is a critical component of the writing assessment development process.
