Abstract

The plurality of society in Indonesia is one of the icons of Indonesia. With plurality, people are expected to respect differences in ethnicity, race, religion, and culture. However, plurality must be the basis of community tolerance, rarely causing conflicts due to differences. The emergence of conflicts that occur is one of the indicators that Indonesian people still do not fully understand the problem of multicultural internal conditions. Gus Dur's presence in advancing multicultural education emerged as part of a response to the phenomenon of ethnic, racial, religious, and cultural differences that often arise in the midst of a multicultural society. Gus Dur's concept of multicultural education emphasizes on cultivating a life of respect and tolerance for diversity that lives in a pluralistic society and fostering generations who are not only knowledgeable and skilled, but also able to live together in society as the nation's successor. This study uses literature research by reviewing several Gus Dur books. The results of the study show that there are differences in religion, race, and culture that do not conflict with each other and are not a source of division in society. So that multicultural Islamic education is a very urgent thing to be carried out to bring flexibility and openness to each other.

Abstract

AbstrakSosialisasi Pendidikan Perdamaian dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk membantu kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang inklusi, ramah anak dan membanngun karakter disiplin positif di SD Negeri 15 Mataram. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi berbasis pelatihan interaktif. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 15 Mataram, diadakan pada tanggal 17 Februari 2025, selama 1 hari yang dihadiri oleh 23 orang yang terdiri dari, kepala sekolah, guru dan mahasiswa PLP 1 FKIP UMMAT. Pembahasan materi yang disampaikan dengan tema “Disiplin Positif Untuk Pendidikan Perdamaian di Era Merdeka Belajar” bermanfaat untuk menciptakan budaya damai di sekolah dan menankan karaktek disiplin positif untuk guru dan siswa. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan guru dapat lebih memahami peran mereka dalam membentuk kebiasaan disiplin siswa, baik dalam lingkungan sekolah maupun kehidupan sehari-hari. Output kegiatan ini meningkatnya pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan strategi penguatan karakter disiplin, serta adanya perubahan positif pada perilaku siswa dalam aspek kedisiplinan, seperti kepatuhan terhadap aturan sekolah, ketepatan waktu, dan tanggung jawab terhadap tugas. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan karakter di SD Negeri 15 Mataram. Kata Kunci: sosialisasi pendidikan perdamaian; karakter; disiplin positif; SDN 15 Mataram AbstractSocialization of Peace Education is carried out with the aim of helping school principals, teachers, and students in creating an inclusive, child-friendly school environment and fostering a positive discipline character at SD Negeri 15 Mataram. The method used is socialization based on interactive training. The activity was conducted at SD Negeri 15 Mataram on February 17, 2025, for one day, attended by 23 participants, consisting of the school principal, teachers, and PLP 1 FKIP UMMAT students. The material presented under the theme "Positive Discipline for Peace Education in the Era of Independent Learning" is beneficial in creating a culture of peace in schools and instilling positive discipline character for teachers and students. Through this activity, it is expected that teachers will better understand their role in shaping students' discipline habits, both in the school environment and in daily life. The output of this activity includes an increased understanding and skills of teachers in implementing character-strengthening strategies for discipline, as well as positive changes in students' behavior in terms of discipline aspects, such as adherence to school rules, punctuality, and responsibility for tasks. Thus, this community service activity contributes to improving the quality of character education at SD Negeri 15 Mataram.Keywords: peace education socialization; character; positive discipline; SDN 15 Mataram.

Abstract

The current and future situation and conditions of scientific and technological development have raised the nature of threats to the national defense system. TNI seeks to face all kinds of threats, challenges, obstacles and disturbances that arise against national defense. Pusinfolahta TNI is tasked with preparing information and carrying out data processing on the use of TNI forces in the fields of administration and operations, organizing information technology support and securing information systems. The approach used in this research is a qualitative research method with descriptive analysis method. The results of the study recommend that a TNI Information System Security Strategy is needed in order to face the Global Challenge, through several innovative ideas including training and fostering human resources in the IT field, developing modern technology infrastructure and forming a monitoring team and strengthening TNI information system security. It is expected to support the main task of Pusinfolahta TNI in creating a TNI information system security strategy in facing the Global Challenge both now and in the future.

Abstract

Traffic problems that arise due to the activity of vehicles parked on the Bandang - North Veteran Road Agency are certainly detrimental to road users, such as when the vehicle is parked or when the vehicle leaves the park. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the effect of parking activities on traffic performance and road service levels around Jalan Bandang - Jalan Veteran Utara Makassar. The type of method used is a descriptive research method, where data collection is obtained from geometric surveys of roads, traffic volume, vehicle speed and parking accumulation. The results of the research show that the influence of on-street parking has on traffic performance on the Jalan Bandang - Jalan Veteran Utara section, based on the analysis results Monday, Thursday, Saturday with a DS value = 0.77 on Jalan Bandang and a DS value = 0, 93 on North Veterans Road. With a DS value > 0.75, treatment is needed to reduce density or congestion. So the level of service on Jalan Bandang is rated C, while the rating on Jalan Veteran Utara is rated E, so there must be no parking signs installed because it results in a reduction in road capacity.

Abstract

The web-based public complaints application in Binjai City aims to improve the effectiveness and transparency of police services. The system allows the public to submit reports online, monitor the status of complaints, and communicate more efficiently with civil servants. With features such as real-time notifications, police database reporting, and integration, the app speeds up responses to symptoms and improves the accountability of the local police in Binjai. The use of this technology also reduces manual bureaucracy, speeds up case solutions, and increases public trust in the police. System testing shows that the app can optimize complaint workflows and provide more responsive solutions. Therefore, this app can be an innovative model in modernizing police services in the digital era.

Abstract

Pada hakikatnya tindakan kekerasan didalam lingkungan pendidikan merupakan sesuatu yang merugikan baik secara psikis maupun fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi kasus kekerasan dalam pendidikan yang terjadi pada siswa MAN 1 Medan berupa kasus pembullyan dan penculikan yang sempat viral beberapa bulan yang lalu. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif. Kekerasan tersebut meliputi penculikan, bullying verbal dan fisik, serta perlakuan kejam lainnya seperti memaksa korban untuk mengkonsumsi lumpur, menghisap sendal, memakan ranting, dan bahkan meminum air liur pelaku. Dampak negatif bullying ini tidak berhenti pada korban. Sekolah sebagai tempat yang seharusnya menjadi pelindung kini pun menjadi ternodai citranya. Masyarakat pun tak luput dari dampaknya. Kejadian ini memicu kekhawatiran dan keresahan, serta memperkuat stigma negatif terhadap korban bullying.

Abstract

Penelitian ini fokus pada penerapan manajemen operasional di institusi pendidikan, dengan penekanan pada pengelolaan sumber daya untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang baik dan berkelanjutan. Untuk menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi informasi, dibutuhkan strategi manajemen yang efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang manajemen pendidikan dan operasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen operasional mencakup perencanaan strategis, pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, keuangan, kurikulum, fasilitas, dan teknologi informasi. Proses ini juga melibatkan pengendalian strategis untuk memastikan efektivitas dan efisiensi pendidikan. Manajemen operasional yang baik diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, menjamin ketersediaan dana, dan menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang kondusif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa manajemen operasional yang terencana dan profesional adalah kunci untuk menciptakan pendidikan yang unggul dan memenuhi harapan masyarakat serta pemerintah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja tantangan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris khususnya di sekolah menengah pertama. Konsep pengajaran bahasa Inggris selalu bersumber dari konsep pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sendiri. Pemahaman yang lebih baik khususnya terhadap perkembangan siswa dengan memberikan cara pandang konstruktivis dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi, dimana seorang siswa berperan sebagai informan utama dan enam orang temannya sebagai informan pendukung. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian kualitatif ini yang mempengaruhi hambatan siswa dalam belajar Bahasa Inggris adalah Durasi dan Keterlibatan dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, Kode Etik dan Tata Krama dalam Interaksi Siswa, Interaksi Kelompok dan Kolaborasi, Dinamika Sosial dan Pengaruh Pengalaman Mengajar Teman serta Perannya Pendidik. Permasalahan dalam pembelajaran merupakan hambatan yang harus diatasi oleh siswa untuk mencapai hasil yang diinginkan.

Abstract

Adaptasi siswa baru terhadap lingkungan sekolah merupakan faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi Pencapaian akademik dan kesejahteraan psikologis mereka. Tetapi masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kemunduran dalam proses penyesuaian ini. Layanan orientasi sekolah didirikan dalam upaya membantu siswa memahami lingkungan barunya serta membangun hubungan sosial yang mendukung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengaruh layanan orientasi terhadap penyesuaian diri siswa melalui metode observasi literatur. Tahapan penelitian meliputi pengumpulan artikel, jurnal, dan kajian terkait layanan orientasi dan penyesuaian mahasiswa dari sumber terpercaya, kemudian dilakukan analisis tematik terhadap temuan yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan orientasi berperan tepat dalam mendukung penyesuaian diri siswa, terutama dalam memahami peraturan dan norma sekolah, mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dan mempererat hubungan sosial antar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan orientasi yang dirancang dengan baik dan komprehensif memberikan dampak positif terhadap adaptasi siswa terhadap proses tersebut, yang pada akhirnya mendukung keberhasilan akademik dan sosial mereka di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine and observe children's language development in Rato Village, Bolo District, Bima Regency. This research is qualitative research using qualitative descriptive methods. Data is analyzed based on theories and phenomena from the aspects studied. The data used in this research are sentences spoken by children aged 6-8 years in Rato village. The data source used in this research comes from daily conversations of 6 children aged 6-8 in Manggengula hamlet, Rato village. Data comes from journals and books as theories relevant to this research. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive analysis techniques. The researchers' results found that the language development of children aged 6-8 years in the Rato Village Community, Manggengula Hamlet, Bolo District, Bima Regency is not the same. Language is learned through habituation from the environment and is the result of the imitation of adults. Language is something that is acquired naturally. Some factors influence the acquisition of a second language in children, namely: the age factor, because when you are still a child it will be easier to acquire a second language; the first language factor (mother), because the first language greatly influences the grammar of other languages; environmental factors, the environment is a very important factor for children's language acquisition because children aged up to 6 years will acquire and speak the language they often hear from the environment, especially family, friends and the community
