Abstract

Tegaren stands out as one of the premier tourist destinations in Trenggalek. In both 2022 and 2023, it has been honored with a place among the top 500 recipients of the Anugerah Desa Wisata Indonesia (ADWI). This village, nestled on a hillside, also earned recognition at the 2022 Anugerah Seratus Desa Wisata Trenggalek (Sadewa). After conducting research and field visits, the previous research team identified two primary challenges facing Tegaren: 1) an aging population and 2) a lack of digital and technology-based skills among Tegaren's workforce. As a result, the proposing team has developed virtual assistance and a virtual guiding training program in collaboration with Tegaren to ensure that the local tourism sector doesn't solely rely on traditional methods but can evolve into a fully comprehensive digital village. Through the implementation of this virtual assistance and virtual guiding training program, the proposing team, along with its partners, aims to keep the tourism sector aligned with the latest technological and informational advances while enhancing the human resource capabilities within Tegaren. In addressing the issues within Tegaren, the proposing team has introduced the concept of virtual assistance and virtual guiding training, employing methodologies such as participatory rural appraisal, asset-based community development, and capacity building. This approach transforms the village community from being merely the program's target into active program participants, fostering collaboration and ensuring sustainable development for the future.

Abstract

Strategic tourism areas both regionally and nationally have the opportunity to develop conceptualized tourism destinations, such as the existence of Regional Tourism Destinations (DPD/Destinasi Wisata Daerah), hereinafter abbreviated as RTD/DPD Panggul, in Panggul, Trenggalek Regency. This research is important because the development of DPD Panggul involves various tourist attractions that come from resources within the local community, with several supporting facilities for tourism managed by the community, but the level of participation in decision-making and activities in tourism organizations is still not conceptualized in the community. This study has 2 (two) points of urgency, namely empowering the Panggul District community to be more economically empowered and as an entry point for formulating and implementing community-based tourism strategies and local values ??so that there is no brian drain on a larger scale from rural to remote. urban. The mandatory outputs of this research include scientific articles in indexed/accredited national journals and are included as oral presenters at international seminars. This research is in line with one of the six main themes of the research and community service program in 2022. On a regional and regional scale, this research also supports the 2019-2024 East Java RPJMD on Nawa Bhakti Satya, especially on Nawa Bhakti Harmoni, and also supports the Trenggalek Regency RIPPDA 2017-2031 in the tourism sector. As with the research in the first year, concepts such as A4, recreational opportunity spectrum, tourist destinations, tourist attractions, and community-based tourism are still being used. This study uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive method with the location setting in Panggul District, Kab. Trenggalek. The data collection and data analysis is presented by observation and in-depth interviews.

Abstract

Kalanganyar Village, located not far from Juanda International Airport, is a fishing tourism destination that is widely known by the people of Sidoarjo. In addition to fishing, in Kalanganyar Village there is a Fish Auction Place (TPI) Kalanganyar which sells the results of fishermen returning from the sea as well as from the results of pond farmers around Kalanganyar. However, tourism development around fishing ponds and seafood restaurants is still not optimally developed. Therefore, the proposing team has the basic assumption that the tourism sector of Kalanganyar Village still has potential assets that have not been developed. One of the potential assets in the village is the potential for riverside tourism which empties into the Bali Sea. Departing from a brief explanation regarding the situation analysis, the community service team can articulate several partner problems, namely a) the absence of strategic planning for the tourism sector in Kalanganyar; b) there has been no development of tourism products and services in Kalanganyar Village; c) there is no unified vision between the village government, village institutions, and the community, and d) there is still a large volume of waste in the tourist area. The proposing team took two priority issues, namely, the stagnation of tourism in Kalanganyar Village, both in terms of goods/services products to tourism planning in Kalanganyar and the unified vision of tourism between village institutions and village communities in Kalanganyar. To answer the problems that have been mentioned, the PIHAT program implemented in Kalanganyar will provide alternative solutions, such as 1) virtual tours and 2) integrated tourism assistance. This community service activity is carried out using the methods of a) virtual tour social counseling as well as virtual tour production, b) asset management training and tourism potential, and c) assistance for tourism activities.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract A phenomenon that is currently emerging from negative narratives about marriage circulating on social media, particularly TikTok. Such as cases of infidelity, domestic violence, and emotional pressure. The purpose of this study is to understand and describe how Gen Z women interpret and respond to this trend. In this study, Stuart Hall's reception theory (encoding-decoding) is used to analyze how content creators and Gen Z female viewers decode the message “Marriage is Scary.” The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through in-depth interviews with six Gen Z women aged between twenty-three and twenty-six who are active on TikTok and reside in Jakarta and Surabaya. The research shows that four informants are in a position of negotiation, accepting the narrative message as an important lesson in preparing financially and psychologically and becoming more critical in choosing a partner. Gen Z women view this trend as validation of their concerns and motivation to prevent potential issues in marriage. Two informants were in a position of opposition, rejecting the frightening narrative due to strong religious beliefs or personal experiences that support a positive perception of marriage. The influence of this trend prompts Gen Z women to reconsider traditional norms, demand equality, and commit to building healthy relationships. Keywords: Reception; gen Z women; marriage is scary; tiktok; marriage. Kata-kata kunci: Resepsi; perempuan gen Z; marriage is scary; tiktok; pernikahan.

Abstract

choice to marry in unmarried women of marriageable age. The method used in this research is a qualitative method by carrying out Stuart Hall's Reception Analysis theory which aims to find out the audience's meaning of the point of view on the choice of marriage in unmarried marriageable women in the video "If Girls Are Free: How to Answer When Asked When to Get Married" on the Narasi TV Youtube channel. The approach is taken to explore, know and understand the variations in audience meaning in interpreting a show that carries a fairly sensitive theme as a matter of public discussion. Research data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with a number of informants who met the research qualifications as secondary data and library collection through journal sources and related books as primary data. Through this research, the results found 3 informants in the position of Dominant Hegemony and 3 informants. on the position of Negotiation. There were no informants in the Opposition. In the position of Dominant Hegemony, informants fully interpret media messages that adequately represent the opinions of Indonesian women in responses to the issue of marriage as a real picture. In the negotiation position, informants only interpret part of it because they feel that media messages are not sufficiently represented and are not supported by data. These findings provide a deeper picture of how Indonesian women view the concept of marriage and their understanding of marriage culture in Indonesia in the future.
