Abstract

Literary vocabulary has often been heard by all levels of society, this is because literature has always existed in the midst of society because literature has been attached to daily activities and as an object of literature. The purpose of this study is to describe the structural elements and values contained in the novel "Pucuk Dicinta Ulam Pun Tiba" by Gol A Gong with qualitative research methods. The method used in this study is descriptive, the term descriptive comes from English means to describe or describe something, such as conditions, situations, events, activities and so on. This research will focus on the analysis of themes, plots, characters, and characterizations, as well as points of view drawn from the author's background and the values contained in the novel. Based on etymology, the word literature comes from Sanskrit, namely shastra which is formed from the word shas which means guide and tra which means to direct, teach, instruct, thus literature. In the Big Dictionary Indonesian, literature is defined as the language used in written works such as scriptures or literary works, not colloquial. However, according to Sumardjo and Saini in 1997, literature is seen as an expression of the human person in the form of expressed experiences, thoughts, feelings, ideas, spirits, beliefs.Keywords: Structuralism; Ulam's beloved shoot arrived;

Abstract

Education is essentially an effort to pass on values, which will help and determine humanity in living life and at the same time improve the fate and civilization of mankind. Without education, it is believed that today's humans are not much different from past human generations, who, compared to today's humans, have been very left behind in terms of both the quality of life and the processes of empowerment. The success of learning is influenced by various things, one of the most important is the role of learning media. In situations like this, the teacher's ability as an important role holder is required to have imagination and a level of creativity that is above average in order to be able to deliver or deliver lessons as expected. This type of research is quantitative research. This research is referred to as a quantitative method because it contains numbers and also analyzes that use statistics in the process. This approach uses a quasi- experimental design approach, in which the researcher does not have full control over the external variables that affect the implementation of the experiment. This study uses a pretest-posttest group design, namely by comparing between before being given the imple-mentation of learning with PowerPoint media and afterwards. The conclusion from the research taken is that the use of PowerPoint media can improve learning outcomes in grade 5 of SD Negeri 066045 Medan in the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Canva Template Desain Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Teks Persuasif Pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMP HKBP Sidorame Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pre-Test and Post-Test Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas VIII SMP HKBP Sidorame Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 60 siswa-siswi yang didistribusikan menjadi 2 kelas yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas menggunakan uji F, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Setelah dilakukan penelitian untuk eksperimen pretest dan posttest penggunaan media canva template desain, diperoleh skor terendah 44 dan skor tertinggi 76 dengan nilai rata-rata pretest yaitu 51,87 dan diperoleh skor terendah 64 dan skor tertinggi 96 dengan nilai rata-rata pada posttest yaitu 79,06. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diuji dengan uji "t" pada taraf signifikan ⍺ = 0,05. Dari data perhitungan thitung > ttabel = 8,60 >2.41 oleh karena itu, hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (H₂) diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Canva Template Desain Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Teks Persuasif Pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMP HKBP Sidorame Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024

Abstract

Analisis adalah kegiatan untuk mencari pola, atau cara berpikir yang berkaitan dengan pengujian secara sistematis terhadap sesuatu untuk menentukan bagian, hubungan antar bagian, serta hubungannya dengan keseluruhan.Dari kesimpulan diatas analisis merupakan suatu ringkasan dalam memecahkan masalah yang diteliti sehingga menjadi susunan kalimat yang berkaitan dengan hasil penelitian yang sudah diteliti. Feminisme merupakan gerakan kaum perempuan yang membandingkan antara derajat perempuan dengan laki-laki.Feminisme mengungkapkan peristiwa yang dialami perempuan berdasarkan kesesuaian pendekatan feminisme yang tertera dalam novel.Feminisme dalam sastra novel “Pelangi Berselimut Awan” Karya Kolom Langit yang berkaitan dengan kejadian-kejadian yang menyangkut mengenai pendekatan feminiseme.Gender merupakan hubungan perbedaan antara laki-laki dan perempuan yang dilihat dari segi budaya maupun sosial yang tidak dapat berubah ke zaman berikutnya, perbedaan gender dapat dilihat dari segi biologis yang memilki kodrat dan peran masing-masing berlaku sepanjang masa. Dari analisis Novel “Pelangi Berselimut Awan” Karya Kolom Langit terhadap pendekatan feminism. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis novel “Pelangi Berselimut Awan” pada pendekatan feminisme memilki perbedaan golongan sosial, sehingga dalam feminisme derajat laki-laki lebih tinggi dibandingkan perempuan.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 11 Medan with the aim of finding out the effect of differentiated learning using the Project Based Learning model on phase D (VIII) students of SMP Negeri 11 Medan. This research uses a quantitative experimental research method with a Two Group Posttest Only Design. The population of this study was all class VIII, totaling 300 students. This research involved two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. The data analysis techniques used in this research were normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. To obtain data, the assignment to write poetry texts was used from the analysis obtained from the students' ability to write poetry texts at K VIII SMP Negeri 11 Medan using differentiated learning with the Project Based Learning model. The lowest score was 60 and the highest score was 95 with an average of 80.17. Based on the results of the calculations carried out, tcount = 9.82456 and ttable = 1.67155 with a significance level of 5% with df= (N1+N2)-2, df which is 58. From df 58, a significance level of 5% = 1.67155 is obtained based on the calculations that have been made. carried out, it can be seen that Tcount>Ttable is 9.82456>1.67155. Thus the initial hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. So it will be stated that differentiated learning using the Project Based Learning model has an effect on the ability to write poetry texts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh judul film “Mendadak Kaya” dengan menggunakan media WeTV terhadap keterampilan menulis teks drama siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Medan tahun ajaran 2023/2024.. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penggunaan media WeTV mempengaruhi kemampuan menulis teks drama Tahap D di SMP Negeri 11 Medan yang berjumlah 264 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data sampling dilakukan dengan cara peneliti mengumpulkan data dari subjek yang diteliti. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode tes. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah two-group posttest-only control design yaitu studi dua kelompok. Untuk memperoleh data, tugas menulis teks drama digunakan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Medan Medan tanpa menggunakan media WeTV

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using the Discovery Learning Method on the ability to write explanatory texts for class VIII students at HKBP Sidorame Middle School, Medan. This research uses a quantitative experimental research method with a one group pretest design. The population in the study was all 30 class VIII students. The data analysis techniques used were normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. After conducting research for pretest and posttest experiments using the Discovery Learning Method, the average score for the control class was 60.93 and the experimental class average was 80.8. The pre-test and post-test data prerequisite test results stated that the sample had a normal and homogeneous distribution. From the results of research hypothesis testing, a "t" test was carried out at a significant level of α= 0.05. This can be proven from the results of hypothesis testing and data analysis that have been carried out. The results obtained from the calculations carried out can be seen that Tcount > Ttable = 8.22524 > 1 ,67155.

Abstract

Penelitiannya bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Articulate storyline sebagai sarana penyampaian materi terhadap kemampuan menulis teks persuasif siswa. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan menulis siswa khususnya pada materi teks persuasif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 13 Medan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes tugas yang berfungsi untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks persuasif. Hasil penelitian ini memperoleh rata-rata 79,33 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 51,83 untuk kelas kontrol. Hasil uji persyaratan data menunjukkan bahwa data kedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogen. pada uji t diperoleh thitung > ttabel 9,1059 > 1,67155. Dengan demikian disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan media Articulate Storyline terhadap kemampuan menulis teks persuasif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of students' ability to identify language styles on the ability to write inspirational stories. Factors that cause low students' writing skills are due to the lack of students' vocabulary, the difficulty of conveying ideas in writing. and less able to understand the style of language. This study used a quantitative experimental method, with class IX research subjects at SMP N 4 Laguboti T.A 2022/2023, with a total population of 194 students and a sample of 32 people. Determination of the sample using the lottery technique. This type of research design is a pre-experimental design, namely the One Group Pretest-Posttest design which only uses one class for learning. The data collection technique is to give test assignments to students. The results of this study indicate that the activity of identifying language style influences the ability to write inspirational stories, this is evident from the Hypothesis Test which has been carried out with Fcount Ftable or 11.59 2.03. So that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

The imaginative learning model is a learning model that invites students to express all their ideas, opinions, imagination or imagination into written form. Writing short stories is very important in student learning in class IX using the Imaginative learning model. It is hoped that the imaginative learning model can be used as fully as possible in developing students' interest in learning, especially in making short stories and making students active and creative in class by maximizing the empowerment of their minds. This research uses quantitative experimental methods, this method seeks to collect and interpret data in a precise, measurable, reasonable and systematic manner. The results of research that has been carried out on learning to write short story texts using an imaginative learning model, which occurs in the learning process makes it easier for students to understand the material and student learning outcomes increase. The reason is that students imagine more and express their ideas so that the learning they do attracts students' attention and influences students' interest in learning and students give each other opinions obtained from each other's observations and learning is more active. Apart from that, students are also supported by the motivation provided by the teacher. This can be proven from the results of hypothesis testing and data analysis that has been carried out to obtain tcount ttable.
