Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of group investigation method on maharah qiraah of seventh grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Huda Gorontalo City. This research is a quantitative study that uses experimental research design with the type of research Quasi Experimental Design. The sample in this study was 7th grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Huda Gorontalo City which amounted to 42 students from a population of 196 students with the type of sampling using a sampling technique, namely Purposive Sample. The result obtained from the t-test of pre-test and post-test data is that the hypothesis is accepted. Based on the results of calculations using SPSS 25, it is known that Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.003 <0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So, there is an effect of Group Investigation Method on Maharah Qiraah of Grade 7 Students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Huda Gorontalo City. There is a difference between the results of experimental group students who use group investigation method and control group students who use conventional learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan mufradat peserta didik kelas VII MTs Al Hidayah Bulango Timur setelah menerapkan metode Inside Outside Circle. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penilitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan teknik analasis data kualitatif, dimana data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan tes akan dijelaskan serta disimpulkan. Hasil penelitian sebelum diterapkan metode Inside Outside Circle dengan menggunakan soal pre test menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan mufradat peserta didik kelas VII MTs Al Hidayah Bulango Timur masih sangat rendah dan belum memenuhi standar kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) yaitu 73. Peserta didik kelas VII MTs Al Hidayah Bulango Timur yang berjumlah 11 orang belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan yang ditentukan, dengan hasil persentase ketuntasan yang diperoleh yaitu 0% dan hasil persentase tidak tuntas 100%. Setelah metode Inside Outside Circle di terapkan dalam pembelajaran, penguasaan mufradat peserta didik kelas VII MTs Al Hidayah Bulango Timur meningkat. Pada tahap siklus I, persentase ketuntasan penguasaan peserta didik melalui post test siklus I meningkat, dari 0% meningkat menjadi 45%, persentase nilai tidak tuntas dari 100% mengalami penurunan menjadi 54%. Adapun pada tahap tindakan siklus II, persentase ketuntasan peserta didik dari hasil post test siklus II mengalami peningkatan dari 45% meningkat menjadi 63%, persentase nilai tidak tuntas menurun dari 54% menjadi 36%. Sedangkan pada tahap tindakan siklus III, persentase ketuntasan yang diperoleh meningkat dari 63% menjadi 90%, dan persentase nilai tidak tuntas menurun dari 36% menjadi 9%. Berdasarkan pembahasan diatas, maka dengan menerapkan metode Inside Outside Circle pada pembelajaran bahasa Arab dapat meningkatkan penguasaan mufradat peserta didik kelas VII MTs Al Hidayah Bulango Timur

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna dan struktur kalimat nominal dalam Surah Al-Ma‘ārij dengan pendekatan sintaksis-pragmatik. Kalimat nominal dalam bahasa Arab memiliki karakteristik makna yang menetap dan penuh penegasan, yang dalam konteks Al-Qur’an berfungsi sebagai alat retoris dan pembentuk kesadaran spiritual. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan teknik analisis isi terhadap ayat-ayat yang memuat jumlah ismiyyah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa struktur kalimat nominal dalam surah ini tersusun dengan pola-pola seperti mubtada’–khabar dan partikel penegas inna, yang menegaskan stabilitas makna. Secara pragmatik, kalimat nominal digunakan untuk memperkuat pesan wahyu, memberikan peringatan, serta membentuk respons emosional dan kognitif pembaca. Fungsi komunikatif kalimat nominal dalam surah ini juga terlihat dalam penegasan nilai-nilai keimanan, karakter manusia, dan gambaran tentang akhirat.

Abstract

As a second international language, Arabic has an existence to be learned by the general public, especially in formal and non-formal educational institutions. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in various aspects of life has brought significant impacts, including in the field of education and learning. One increasingly popular application of AI is Text-to-Speech (TTS), which allows computers to convert written text into audible voice. This study aims to help users understand Arabic text reading, especially for users who cannot read Arabic script. And can be one of the tools or alternatives in the process of learning Arabic to improve reading skills. AI text-to-speech (TTS) can be very useful in improving reading skills. One way that AI TTS can help is in Clear Pronunciation: AI TTS can produce clear and accurate sounds, helping listeners understand words correctly and mimic proper pronunciation.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the interrelation between syntax, semantics, and pragmatics within the structure of nominal sentences (jumlah ismiyyah). Employing a syntactic-pragmatic approach, the research examines how the grammatical construction of nominal sentences influences meaning and interpretation within specific contextual frameworks. This study adopts a library research methodology, with data drawn from Qur'anic verses containing nominal sentence patterns found in Surah al-Ma'arij. Through comprehensive analysis, the study reveals that Surah al-Ma'arij features a variety of nominal sentence structures, each associated with distinct pragmatic functions. These include the expression of specification (taḫṣīṣ), continuity and permanence (al-istimrār wa al-dawām), emphasis and caution (al-ihtimām wa al-ʿināyah), as well as the acceleration of joy or adversity (litaʿjīl al-masarrat aw al-masāʾah). The findings demonstrate that nominal sentences in the Qur'anic context do not merely convey static information but also embody pragmatic dimensions that enhance the communicative impact of the text. Accordingly, this study underscores the significance of syntactic-pragmatic analysis in elucidating the intricate relationship between linguistic form and communicative function, particularly in the interpretation of religious texts such as the Qur'an

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi pembelajaran kolaboratif pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Limboto, Kabupaten Gorontalo. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya partisipasi aktif siswa serta kurangnya pemahaman mendalam terhadap materi PAI akibat dominasi metode pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kolaboratif memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan interaksi sosial, tanggung jawab individu maupun kelompok, serta motivasi belajar siswa. Dalam pelaksanaannya, pembelajaran kolaboratif juga memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai keislaman secara kontekstual dan aplikatif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas proses belajar mengajar serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI

Abstract

Bahasa Arab memiliki peran penting dalam pendidikan Islam, namun keterampilan berbicara sering terabaikan dalam pembelajaran di madrasah. Program "Sehari Berbahasa Arab" di MAN 2 Banggai bertujuan meningkatkan maharatul kalam siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah experiential learning, di mana siswa aktif terlibat dalam simulasi percakapan sehari-hari. Hasilnya, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek kelancaran berbicara, penggunaan kosakata yang tepat, kemampuan mengekspresikan ide, serta peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa. Selain itu, siswa merasa lebih nyaman dan percaya diri menggunakan bahasa Arab di luar konteks akademik. Kesimpulannya, program ini efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa dan dapat diadopsi dalam skala yang lebih luas di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to describe the creativity of Islamic Religious Education teachers in teaching and its relation to the learning interests of grade VII students at Muhammadiyah Pone Junior High School. Methodology: This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type to gain an in-depth understanding of creative learning strategies carried out by Islamic Religious Education teachers in the school context. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and principals, direct observation in teaching and learning activities, and analysis of supporting documents such as learning implementation plans and evaluation notes. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and interactive conclusion drawn. The research procedure includes the preparation stage (determining the focus of the problem and research permits), the stage of data collection in the field, the stage of repeated analysis to find creative learning patterns, to the stage of verifying findings through triangulation of sources and methods. Main Findings: The results of the study show that Islamic Religious Education Teachers apply various creative approaches, such as the use of Islamic stories, simulations of worship practices, visual media, and contextual discussions related to students' daily lives. Novelty/Originality of this study: Islamic Religious Education learning that is managed creatively, with the support of the principal, is able to foster student involvement and interest in learning in a more meaningful way, so that grade VII students have high enthusiasm, activeness in class, and positive learning interest in Islamic Religious Education subjects.

Abstract

Arabic language learning at MIN 1 Gorontalo still relies heavily on conventional methods, which result in low student motivation and limited engagement. This study aims to explore the integration of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in developing Arabic teaching materials using 3D Assemblerword-based media. By leveraging AR technology, the learning process is expected to become more interactive and engaging. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model. The study involved fifth-grade students from MIN 1 Gorontalo Regency, with two groups comprising a total of 60 students. The findings indicate that AR-based media significantly improved students’ understanding of Arabic materials and increased their learning motivation. This study contributes to the advancement of innovative and effective instructional strategies in Arabic language education.

Abstract

Background: Code Mixing is a sociolinguistic phenomenon and is common in bilingual or multilingual societies. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe the sociolinguistic phenomenon of code-switching through the speech of the Gorontalo Arab community. Method: This research uses a qualitative method to descript the object of code-mixing according to the actual situation and phenomenon. Data collection was done by direct observation with note-taking techniques and interviews with five descendants of Yemeni Hadrami Arab ethnic living in Gorontalo. Results and Discussion: This study concludes that in the speech of ethnic Arabs of Gorontalo Arab Village, there is a code mix in the form of word insertion from Indonesian to Arabic. This study found an external code mix that is often used in the speech of people who live in Gorontalo Arab village, with as much as 25 data. Conclusion and Implication: The results of this study imply that sociolinguistics can be a means of language learning. However, from the grammatical aspect, it has shortcomings due to mixing words that do not follow the standard rules in the two mixed languages. It is believed that there are still many vocabularies that are mixed between Arabic and Indonesian and are often spoken by the Arab community in Gorontalo. Therefore, this research can be developed in a larger population, especially in ethnic Arabs inhabiting several Gorontalo Province areas.
