Abstract

Tujuan penilitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran Muhadasah pada peserta didik Prodi Sastra Arab Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo 2) Untuk mengetahui kemampuan Muhadasah peserta didik Prodi Sastra Arab Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo 3) Untuk mengungkapkan permasalahan apa saja yang menjadi problematika pembelajaran Muhadasah pada peserta didik Prodi Sastra Arab Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan linguistik dan pedagogik. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi kepada para dosen, peserta didik, ketua jurusan dan para koordinator kegiatan peserta didik Prodi Sastra Arab Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Data dianalis melalui reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Bentuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran Muhadasah pada Peserta didik Prodi Sastra Arab Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo dilakukan dengan beberapa teknik pembelajaran yaitu : pemberian kosakata, latihan tanya jawab, latihan menebak kata, latihan menyusun dan menyambung kalimat, latihan bermain peran, latihan mengidentifikasi kalimat, bercerita berdasarkan topik, latihan percakapan. Adapun metode yang digunakan tidak terfokus pada satu metode saja melainkan disesuaikan dengan materi pembelajaran maupun kemampuan peserta didik dalam memahami materi pembelajaran yang diberikan. Akan tetapi media pembelajaran yang digunakan masih menggunakan media yang seadanya. 2) Kemampuan mereka dalam mengimplementasikan bahasa Arab dalam kesehariannya masih sangat minim sekali. Faktor penghambatnya berasal dari faktor linguistik yakni kemampuan peserta didik itu sendiri dalam berbahasa dan non lingustik berasal dari luar kemampuan peserta didik dalam berbahasa seperti : pengajar, media, lingkungan dan hal lainnya yang menghambat pelaksanaan pembelajaran tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mentranskripsi tuturan yang berbentuk bunyi ke dalam bentuk tulisan Ortografi Arab Pegon Gorontalo (OAPG) dan membandingkannya dengan Ortografi Arab Pegon Melayu (OAPM) dan Ortografi Arab standar (OAS). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan linguistic kontrastif. Data dikumpulkan berbentuk dokumen manuskrip dari kitab dikili yang berasal dari empat kabupaten di Provinsi Gorontalo. Data OAPG dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik rekam catat, kemudian membandingkannya dengan OAPM dan OAS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan beberapa persamaan sekaligus perbedaan antara   Ortografi Arab Pegon Gorontalo (OAPG) dengan OAPM dan OAS. Persamaan antara OAPG dengan OAPM yakni; (1) Kedua bahasa ini  menggunakan ortografi pegon ch [څ], ny [ڽ], ng [ڠ] dan g [ڬ] (2) Memiliki fonem, aksara bunyi vokal O dan E, serta menggunakan dua belas ortografi Arab standar urutan hija’i. Persamaan antara OAPG dengan OAS, yakni; 1) OAPG menggunaan enam belas ortografi OAS (ا-ب-ت-ج-د-ر-س-غ-ف-ك-ل-م-ن-و-ء-ي) berdasarkan urutan hija’i, namun tidak  memiliki dua belas konsonan OAS.  2) OAPG dan OAS sama-sama memiliki aksara yang disambung dan dipisah, serta menggunakan semua tanda diakritik Arab standar. Adapun perbedaan transkripsinya adalah: 1) OAPG tidak membedakan penggunaan tanda diakritik [E] menjadi [é] pepet dan [e] taling. 2) Memiliki suku kata yang dimulai dengan [nt-نْت] dan [ng-ڠْڬ], 3)  OAPG menggunakan fonem Arabic standar [f-ف]  dan bukan fonem pegon [p-ڤ]. 4)  OAPG tidak menggunakan ortografi [ڎ/ڊ] dan [ڟ] untuk fonem [dh] [th], 5)  OAPG memiliki tujuh fonem pembeda yang tidak dimiliki oleh Ortografi Arab Standar.

Abstract

One of the method that can be used for science learning in elementary schools is educational game. Through games we can create ideal conditions for learning and improve the quality of learning. This service activity uses Cartesian games as a learning medium. This activity was carried out at Madrasah Al-Falah, Gorontalo district. The results of the service activities show that the use of the Cartesian game method is very effective in increasing children's basic science knowledge and they can have an enjoyable learning experience.Keywords: Game Methode; Cartesius ; Sains.

Abstract

The prevalence of nutritional status among children aged 5-12 in the Gorontalo Province based on BMI-for-age indicates that 2.70% are severely underweight, 8.45% are underweight, 8.93% are overweight, and 6.26% are obese. The shift from the previous 'four healthy five perfect' nutrition reference to balanced nutrition guidelines is not yet fully understood and known by all layers of society, including within school environments. The outreach activity conducted at Al-Falah Elementary Islamic School in Gorontalo District aims to provide education and socialization regarding balanced nutritional guidelines and the concept of 'My Plate' to elementary school students. The participants involved 34 students from grades 4 and 5. The methods employed included lectures, video presentations, followed by an evaluation using a 'My Plate' puzzle assembly game. The utilization of the puzzle as an evaluation medium was well comprehended by the students, as evidenced by a 75% proficiency in completing the puzzle. Enhancing students' knowledge about balanced nutritional guidance and food plate composition can be achieved through nutritional education and socialization.

Abstract

Pemasyarakatan bahasa Arab di Gorontalo khususnya di Desa Biyonga menjadi fokus kajian ini karena keunikan karakteristik masyarakatnya yang erat kaitannya dengan budaya Islam dan bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali cara mensosialisasikan bahasa Arab, mengidentifikasi tantangan dan menganalisis dampaknya terhadap pelestarian kearifan lokal di desa Biyonga. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya memperkenalkan bahasa Arab di Desa Biyonga telah membuahkan fenomena unik yaitu``Arabisasi kearifan lokal'', dimana ungkapan-ungkapan tradisional Gorontalo diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Arab. Program pendidikan juga mengintegrasikan studi bahasa Arab dan sejarah lokal, sehingga pemasyarakatan bahasa Arab di desa Biyonga tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa tetapi juga memperkuat identitas budaya dan spiritual masyarakat. Upaya ini menjadi katalisator revitalisasi kebudayaan, penguatan spiritualitas, dan pembangunan kohesi sosial yang lebih kuat dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

Purpose – This research aims to develop an Android-based Arabic learning media using iSpring Suite to enhance the Arabic vocabulary mastery of 5th-grade students at MI Terpadu Al Ishlah, Gorontalo. Design/methods/approach – The research applied the 4D Thiagarajan model for Research and Development, involving stages of definition, design, development, and dissemination. Data were collected using expert validation, questionnaires and pre-test-post-test results. Findings – The expert validation scores from language, material, and media experts were 84%, 96%, and 82% respectively, indicating the "Very Feasible" category. The overall validation from the three experts reached 86%, confirming the media as "Very Feasible." Descriptive analysis showed an increase in students' vocabulary mastery, with the pre-test average score of 28.27 rising to 39.86 in the post-test, highlighting a significant improvement. Research implications/limitations – Despite its success, the study's limitations include a narrow focus on vocabulary without broader language skills. Originality/value – This research provides an innovative approach to integrating mobile learning into Arabic language education, particularly through interactive digital tools like iSpring Suite, offering valuable insights for future development in educational media. Abstrak Tujuan – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis Android menggunakan iSpring Suite untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab siswa kelas V di MI Terpadu Al Ishlah, Gorontalo. Desain/metode/pendekatan – Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4D Thiagarajan untuk Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D), yang mencakup tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui validasi ahli, angket, serta hasil pre-test dan post-test. Temuan – Skor validasi ahli dari ahli bahasa, materi, dan media masing-masing adalah 84%, 96%, dan 82%, yang termasuk dalam kategori "Sangat Layak". Validasi keseluruhan dari ketiga ahli mencapai 86%, mengonfirmasi media pembelajaran ini sebagai "Sangat Layak". Analisis deskriptif menunjukkan peningkatan penguasaan kosakata siswa, dengan skor rata-rata pre-test 28,27 meningkat menjadi 39,86 pada post-test, yang menyoroti peningkatan yang signifikan. Implikasi/batasan penelitian – Meskipun berhasil, penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan berupa fokus yang sempit pada penguasaan kosakata tanpa mencakup keterampilan bahasa yang lebih luas. Keaslian/nilai – Penelitian ini memberikan pendekatan inovatif dalam mengintegrasikan pembelajaran mobile ke dalam pendidikan bahasa Arab, khususnya melalui alat digital interaktif seperti iSpring Suite, serta menawarkan wawasan berharga untuk pengembangan media pendidikan di masa depan.

Abstract

This study explores the Group Investigation (GI) model's role in developing 21st-century skills in collaboration, communication, creativity, and problem-solving in Arabic language learning. Addressing a research gap, it examines how GI enhances these skills, fostering effective learning and student engagement in the classroom. This study uses a qualitative approach, and it examines the implementation of the Group Investigation model in teaching Arabic to 57 students in two classes. Observations over 3 hours per class focused on student interactions during group assignments, highlighting activeness, role distribution, opinion exchange, and task allocation. Documentation through photos and videos validated the observations and supported the analysis of 21st-century skills. Data analysis employed an interactive approach. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Group Investigation cooperative learning model in Arabic learning instruction significantly illustrates students' 21st-century skills. This study contributes to Arabic language learning by demonstrating that the Group Investigation (GI) model enhances 21st-century skills, particularly creativity. Future research should explore additional strategies within GI to strengthen communication and collaboration while evaluating its impact on Arabic language learning outcomes.

Abstract

Various kinds of efforts are made by educators for the implementation of good and effective learning. In improving speaking skills there are several strategies used, one of which is the al-ta'bir al-mushawwar strategy. The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of the al-ta'bir al-mushawwar strategy in improving students' speaking skills. In addition, this study aims to determine the advantages and disadvantages of this strategy. The method used in this research is quantitative with One Group pretest-posttest design. In analyzing the data of this study, a different t-test was used with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and tests. The sample used was class VIII B, which consisted of 10 students. It is said so because the data analyzed are the numbers obtained from the test results (pre-test and post-test) of students. The results of this study indicate that the al-ta'bir mushawwar strategy is effective in improving students' maharah al-kalam

Abstract

The novel is an imitation of the life of the society around it. Literary works such as novels are cultural products that hold value as a means of communication for conveying ideas in the form of texts or stories, providing thousands of meanings within, especially in discussing the reality of social life. "Woman at Point Zero" is a novel by Nawal El Saadawi that serves as a form of critique directed towards the culture ingrained in her country. Feminist ideas are encapsulated within it, prompting researchers to seek signs and symbols of gender inequality arising from biological differences seen through social, political, and cultural aspects. Employing heuristic and hermeneutic readings with Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic theory, four quotations about symbols of gender inequality stemming from biological differences are derived from the social aspect, two quotations from the political aspect, and two quotations from the economic aspect

Abstract

The Education 5.0 era requires learners to acquire both language and communication skills. In light of the contemporary demands, collaborative learning is highly recognized as a strong methodology to improve both linguistic and social competencies, its practice in Arabic language teaching faces huge obstacles. This study is exploring efficient strategies for collaborative learning with Arabic as a target language and the factors influencing successful applications will be scrutinized. This study applies the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology referring to PRISMA guidelines. The findings of this study have indicated that instructional strategies such as Group Discussion, Think Pair Share, and Project-Based Learning do significantly improve listening, speaking, reading, and, most importantly, writing skills. The effectiveness of these strategies is determined by four main factors: pedagogical (teacher competence and instructional design), social (student interaction and environmental support), group dynamics (heterogeneous composition and structured interaction), and technological (technology availability and integration). The presented research emphasizes the need for improved teacher preparation programs, thoughtful instructional design, and equitable student access to the latest technologies in order for the collaborative learning approach in Arabic language instruction to deliver optimal experiences.
