Abstract

Students need to have the ability to represent mathematically so that they can solve math problems using various representations. This study's goals to ascertain how using digital learning resources, particularly PhET simulations, affects junior high school students' mathematical representation abilities with relation to linear equations in one variable. This research involves 61 students from two classes and uses a quasi-experimental design. For sample selection, the cluster random sampling method was used. Test questions served as instruments with indicators of mathematical representation skills. With significance value < 0.001, The results of the independent sample t-test showed that there was a significant difference between the two groups. It was also obtained an effect size value of 1.45 with a very large category, Consequently, One may argue that when students study one-variable linear equations, employing PhET Simulation enhances their ability to represent mathematical ideas.

Abstract

Stunting in Jember Regency is among the top five in East Java. Kemuning Lor Village is one of the villages that needs attention in stunting prevention. Knowledge about stunting prevention is very much needed by all layers of society. Regional potential also supports the success of stunting prevention. The majority of the residents' jobs there are as livestock farmers. This greatly supports the proposing team in implementing Sustainable Empowerment of representative Through Training in the Production and Digital Marketing of Pentol Lele as an Effort to Prevent the Increase of Stunting Cases in Jember Regency by providing socialization and training as well as direct practice in the processing of Pentol Lele. The purpose of this community service is to provide training in the production and digital marketing of Pentol Lele as an effort to prevent the increase in stunting cases in Jember Regency. The nutritional content of catfish is comparable to other fish, even though it is relatively cheaper. The results of this activity are: 1) Increased public knowledge about early stunting prevention; 2) Increased public knowledge about making catfish meatballs; 3) Increased public knowledge about marketing UMKM products through digital marketing training; 4) Enhanced public knowledge about how to manage P-IRT. This community empowerment activity is monitored and evaluated in stages to optimize stunting prevention and the sustainability of UMKM products, and to improve the economy of the Kemuning Lor Village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media kartu huruf dalam membantu mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada siswa kelas 1–3 di SD Negeri 15 yang terletak di Jorong Padang Sidondang. Kesulitan membaca pada anak usia sekolah dasar merupakan salah satu hambatan dalam proses pembelajaran yang dapat memengaruhi perkembangan akademik secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru kelas dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kartu huruf sebagai media pembelajaran mampu meningkatkan minat dan kemampuan membaca siswa secara bertahap. Siswa menjadi lebih antusias, aktif, dan mampu mengenali huruf serta merangkainya menjadi kata sederhana. Guru juga merasa terbantu dengan adanya media ini karena dapat memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang lebih menyenangkan dan interaktif. Media kartu huruf terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi hambatan awal dalam belajar membaca, terutama bagi siswa dengan kemampuan dasar membaca yang masih rendah. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media visual seperti kartu huruf dapat menjadi solusi alternatif dalam pembelajaran membaca di tingkat sekolah dasar, khususnya di daerah yang memiliki keterbatasan sumber belajar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and determine the feasibility of learning media, in the form of mobile learning with the name "Snail Detective" for class X students majoring in Computer and Network Engineering at Dian Indonesia Vocational High School Sidoarjo. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model which consists of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subjects in this study were students of class X majoring in Computer and Networking Engineering. The research instrument used is in the form of a questionnaire. The data obtained will then be analyzed using the likert scale. “Detective Snail” mobile learning was validated by media experts, material experts, and tested on groups with a limited scale. Based on the results of the development, it was found that the development of "Snail Detective" mobile learning in class X SMK Dian Indonesia Sidoarjo was declared very feasible as a learning support tool. The validation results from media experts get a score percentage of 94% with a very decent category, the results of material expert validation get a score percentage of 87% with a very decent category and trials to students get an average score percentage of 91.2% with a very decent category . So it is concluded that the “Snail Detective” mobile learning is very feasible to use and can be implemented for the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to know and analyze the application of sales information systems and accounting information systems that aim to improve the quality of financial statements. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods by comparing theory and practice/implementation of information systems at PT XYZ. The main focus of this study is how to apply the sales information system and the accounting information system so that the process of preparing financial statements, especially income statements, balance sheets, changes in capital and cash flow statements, can be presented on time to management. The research results are as follows: (1) The manual process of transfer of sales data to Accurate Online resulted in delays in the preparation of financial statement, affecting management's ability to make decisions based on up-to-date financial information. (2) The new system improves inventory control, smoother returns, and balance sheet position. (3) The study suggests a new system for e-commerce transactions, especially online, as trends in marketplaces like Shopee, Tokopedia, and TikTok have significantly impacted Indonesian shopping.

Abstract

This study aims: (1) To describe farmers' perceptions of climate change with lowland rice production in Banyuasin Village (2) To describe the setting of the planting season and management of lowland rice farming in Banyuasin Village from 2018 to 2021. This study started from the preparation stage in the month of 2018 March 2022 until the data collection stage in June 2022 in Banyuasin Village. The method used in this research is a survey method. The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling with sample selection using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data collection methods used are interviews, questionnaires, and observation. The data analysis method used in this research is the analysis with the perception index. The perception of lowland rice farmers in Banyuasin Village regarding climate change on the indicators of knowledge, attitudes and expectations is considered good. It can be seen that the total value of perception is 60.6 percent. However, the perception of lowland rice farmers on climate change is not good because the knowledge indicator has a score of 58.5 percent and the attitude indicator has a score of 48.5 percent. The timing of planting by farmers is determined by deliberation, namely once a year and the management of lowland rice farming in Banyuasin Village from 2018 to 2021 includes planning, organization, implementation and supervision. Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pengenalan ilmu sains dalam tradisi Islam, menelusuri kontribusi monumental para ilmuwan Muslim di bidang matematika, astronomi, kedokteran, dan filosofi. Fokus juga diberikan pada tafsir ayat-ayat Al-Quran yang menggambarkan keajaiban alam semesta, menekankan pentingnya memahami fenomena alam melalui ilmu pengetahuan. Selain itu, artikel ini melakukan perbandingan antara pendekatan tafsir tradisional dan metode-metode modern dalam ilmu, mengungkap bagaimana kedua pendekatan ini dapat saling melengkapi dan memperkaya pemahaman kita. Abstract

Gluten, the primary protein in wheat and its derivatives, and lactose, the natural sugar in milk and dairy products, may trigger adverse health effects such as bloating, diarrhea, and metabolic disturbances in sensitive individuals. Gluten-free dietary interventions have also been reported as supportive therapy for certain health conditions, including autism. This study aimed to analyze consumer profiles, identify key preferences, and assess the potential local market demand for gluten- and lactose-free (GFLF) cookies. A descriptive observational study applying descriptive market analysis rather than predictive modeling was conducted among the general population in Jember, Indonesia. Using accidental sampling, data were collected from 120 respondents between July and August 2025 through an online questionnaire (Google Forms). The instrument assessed demographic characteristics, consumer awareness, product preferences, and purchase intentions. Data were analyzed descriptively using frequency distribution tables. The majority of respondents were young adults with income levels below the regional minimum wage. Approximately 78.4% expressed interest in GFLF cookies, and 65% indicated willingness to purchase them despite higher prices compared with conventional cookies. The main motivations for purchase were perceived health benefits (50%) and curiosity or willingness to try new products (30%). The acceptable price range was IDR 15,000–25,000 per 100 g. Estimated market demand ranged from 400 to 1,200 packages per month. These findings indicate a promising market opportunity for GFLF cookies in Jember, supported by increasing consumer awareness and interest in healthier food alternatives. Product development strategies should prioritize affordability, sensory quality, and consumer education to facilitate product downstreaming, commercialization, and sustainable market adoption of functional food products.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital menuntut lembaga pelatihan kerja untuk memanfaatkan media daring sebagai sarana pemasaran dan penyampaian informasi. LPPK Maherka sebagai lembaga pelatihan kerja masih menghadapi keterbatasan dalam penggunaan media digital, khususnya website, sebagai media pemasaran yang terintegrasi dan informatif. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan website LPPK Maherka sebagai media pemasaran digital guna meningkatkan visibilitas, profesionalitas, dan jangkauan promosi lembaga. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan desain website, pengembangan konten, serta pelatihan pengelolaan website bagi pengelola lembaga. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa website yang dirancang mampu menjadi media informasi terpusat yang memudahkan masyarakat dalam mengakses informasi terkait profil lembaga, layanan, dan program pelatihan yang ditawarkan. Selain itu, keberadaan website memberikan dampak positif terhadap upaya pemasaran digital LPPK Maherka dengan meningkatkan citra dan kredibilitas lembaga di mata masyarakat. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam pemanfaatan teknologi digital sebagai strategi pemasaran yang efektif bagi lembaga pelatihan kerja.

Abstract

The cross product is an operation with geometric characteristics. This study aims to analyze the orthogonality of the cross product of two vectors and its relationship to the original plane. Based on the basic principles of vectors, the cross product of two vectors a and b produces a new vector perpendicular to the plane formed by the two original vectors. This resulting vector is determined by the equation |a × b| = |a| |b| sin⁡θ. The method used is a literature study. The results of the discussion indicate that the perpendicularity property is crucial to the direction and magnitude of the cross product.
