Abstract

This research examines the regulatory and religious perspectives on female circumcision in Indonesia, focusing on the interplay between Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) No. 28/2024 and Fatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) No. 9A/2008. The study aims to analyze the compatibility of these regulations with Islamic traditions, particularly the Shafi'i school of thought, and assess their implications for women’s rights and health. A qualitative comparative approach was employed, utilizing document analysis of the two regulations alongside relevant Islamic jurisprudential sources. Data were further contextualized through a normative-juridical framework, allowing for an in-depth exploration of religious, legal, and public health considerations. The findings reveal significant tensions between the two regulatory frameworks. While the MUI fatwa permits female circumcision within safe procedural limits and aligns with Shafi'i jurisprudence, PP No. 28/2024 emphasizes the protection of women's physical and psychological health, categorizing female circumcision as potentially harmful. Both frameworks aim to safeguard women’s well-being, yet diverge in their application of this principle. This study contributes original insights by situating the debate within the broader discourse on the intersection of religion and modern regulatory systems in Indonesia. It highlights the need for a balanced approach that respects religious traditions while prioritizing women’s rights and health. The findings have significant implications for policymakers and religious leaders, suggesting the necessity of harmonizing religious practices with modern legal standards to address public health concerns and uphold human rights in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

Employers and business owners who employ Generation Y as their workforce face many challenges along with tech-savvy characteristics, demands and lifestyles that are different from the previous generation. In this context, a strong psychological contract becomes an important antecedent in a company that employs Generation Y. This study seeks to analyze the effect of psychological contracts and organizational support on organizational commitment behavior (OCB) among millennial generation employees, using organizational commitment as a mediating variable. This study used a quantitative approach using simple random sampling technique with a total sample of 176 samples. The analysis technique was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software. The findings indicate that organizational support and the psychological contract have a big impact on organizational commitment and OCB. The results show that organizational commitment has a considerable impact on organizational commitment behavior. Examining the organizational commitment's mediating function, the findings indicate that it plays a full mediating function in enhancing the impacts of psychological contracts and organizational support on OCB. Practically, these findings have implications for the importance of employee engagement through organizational commitment which predicts it is more likely to increase employee perceptions of the psychological contract and encourage positive behaviors that promote OCB. Abstract

BP2JK currently has an organizational structure with duties and authorities that have been determined for each section. However, in its implementation there are still some unclear instructions from leaders in carrying out tasks, and there are still leaders who do not pay attention to the needs and desires of subordinates. The effectiveness of an organization can be influenced by work engagement, transformational leadership, organizational culture, and knowledge management. Therefore, improvements through human resources are very necessary in restoring the performance of a company or organization. Objective: The aim of this research is to identify factors and analyze the level of significance of factors that influence the effectiveness of the BP2JK organization in the West Sulawesi Region. Method: The research method used is quantitative research. The unit of analysis used in this research focuses on individual employees of BP2JK West Sulawesi Region with a population of 100 people. The sampling technique to determine the sample that will be used in this research uses a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling with a sample result of 80 people. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire. Results: The results obtained in this research are the influence of transformational leadership on organizational effectiveness resulting in a t-statistic of 2,632 > 1.98. Can be concluded Acceptable. The influence of organizational culture on organizational effectiveness produces a t-statistic of 1.257 < 1.98. Can be concluded Unacceptable. The influence of knowledge management on organizational effectiveness produces a t-statistic of 0.818 < 1.98. Can be concluded Unacceptable. The influence of work engagement on organizational effectiveness produces a t-statistic of 4,775 > 1.98. Can be concluded Acceptable. Conclusion: Transformational leadership factors and work engagement have a significant effect on organizational effectiveness. The factors of organizational culture and knowledge management do not have a significant effect on organizational effectiveness. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide input to the BP2JK West Sulawesi Region in an effort to increase organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

Sectio caesarea merupakan prosedur pembedahan yang dilakukan dengan membuat sayatan pada dinding perut atau rahim untuk melahirkan janin. Operasi sectio caesarea merupakan opsi yang dilakukan jika persalinan pervaginan beresiko besar bagi janin maupun ibu. Nyeri adalah suatu pengalaman sensorik dan emosional yang tidak menyenangkan akibat dari kerusakan jaringan yang bersifat subjektif. Salah satu penanganan nyeri yaitu dengan imajinasi terbimbing.Teknik imajinasi terbimbing adalah intervensi komplementer nonfarmakologis dalam berbagai pengaturan klinis untuk membayangkan adegan, gambar, atau pengalaman yang mempromosikan penyembuhan tubuh Prosesnya menggunakan citra mental sehingga menghasilkan efek fisiologis dan mengurangi rasa nyeri yang dirasakan pasien. Tujuan studi kasus ini mengetahui efektifitas implementasi manajeman nyeri dengan teknik imajinasi terbimbing pada pasien post sectio caesarea dalam upaya penurunan skala nyeri. Metode yang digunakan dalam Penelitian Karya Tulis Ilmiah ini adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang pasien mengatakan nyeri pada abdomen tembus sampai belakang. Setelah dilakukan teknik imajinasi terbimbing nyeri yang dirasakan menurun dari skala nyeri 6 (sedang) menjadi skala nyeri 2. Penerapan dilakukan 1 kali sehari selama 3 hari. Analisa data dilakukan penerapan menunjukan bahwa setelah dilakukan penerapan imajinasi terbimbing, terjadi penurunan skala nyeri skala nyeri 6 (sedang) menjadi skala 2. Kesimpulan penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa Pemberian imajinasi terbimbing ini efektif terhadap penurunan skala nyeri pada pasien post sectio caesarea.

Abstract

Gagal jantung adalah abnormalitas dari struktur jantung atau fungsi yang menyebabkan ketidakmampuan darah secara adekuat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi dan oksigen pada jaringan tubuh sehingga tidak terpenuhi dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas terapi hipnosis 5 jari dalam mengurangi ansietas pada pasien gagal jantung kongestif. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan study kasus deskriptif yang memberikan suatu kasus tertentu agar menilai penelitian dan menjelaskan secara terperinci. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di ruangan ICVCU RSUD Undata Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Berdasarkan analisa data yang diperoleh melalui pengkajian, ditemukan keluhan utama pasien yaitu sesak nafas dan ascites. Dengan diagnosis keperawatan yaitu Ansietas. Perencanaan dan pelaksanaan terapi dilakukan dengan baik, terdapat adanya perubahan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan terapi. Terapi hipnosis 5 jari efektif dalam mengurangi ansietas pada pasien gagal jantung kongestif, sesuai dengan tahapan asuhan keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian, diagnose keperawatan, intervensi,implementasi dan evaluasi.

Abstract

PT. Gojek has many types of online transportation services, one of which is Gocar. This study aims to determine the effect of promotion and service quality on the formation of consumer satisfaction using Gocar in the Cengkareng area of ​​West Jakarta. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The number of samples taken is 100 respondents, the sampling technique uses non-probability sampling, with purposive sampling technique, which is a sampling technique where elements of the population are selected with the researcher's considerations and using a Likert scale method questionnaire, to obtain data, the population used is all the people of Cengkareng Jakarta. westerners who have used Gocar online motorcycle taxis. The results of the multiple regression analysis showed that there was a positive and significant influence between the promotion and service quality variables on the formation of customer satisfaction. The results of the t test, the most dominant variable influencing in shaping consumer satisfaction is the quality of service of 0.698

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar Pengaruh Harga, dan Promosi Terhadap Keputusan Mahasiswa Memilih Kuliah di kampus Bisnis Umar Usman, Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif, Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa kampus Bisnis Umar Usman tahun 2021/2022, Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 48 mahasiswa dengan pendekatan accidental sampling (pengambilan sampel secara kebetulan). Hasil analisis awal yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa indikator yang digunakan valid untuk mengukur variabel yang ada. Hasil analisis selanjutnya mendapati bahwa dari ketiga variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis antara Harga (X1) berpengaruh terhadap Keputusan (Y) mahasiswa memulih kuliah. Diperoleh hasil adalah sebesar 8,5% diikuti variabel promosi dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 15,6%, kesimpulan, bahwa harga dan promosi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih kuliah di kampus Bisnis Umar Usman adalah sebesar 16,8%

Abstract

The growing phenomenon of "Marriage is Scary" on social media, particularly on TikTok, has influenced Muslim teenagers in Medan Johor's views on marriage. The trend highlights fear and ambivalence towards marriage with negative narratives that focus on the burdens and challenges of marriage. This study aims to explore the impact of these trends on Muslim teenagers' perceptions, as well as the relevance of religious understanding and the role of social media in shaping attitudes towards marriage. The method used is juridical sociological with a qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews, questionnaires and observation. The Legal Benefit Theory in this study shows that law can serve as an instrument that not only protects individuals from the impact of misperceptions, but also ensures social welfare in the long run. The results show that this trend has an impact on the decline in teenagers' interest in marriage, the increase in hedonistic behavior and individualism, and the shift in family values. On the other hand, a strong religious understanding can be a protective factor against these negative influences. In conclusion, it is important for families, schools and religious communities to improve media literacy and provide contextualized religious guidance to strengthen the understanding of marriage in Islam as an act of worship that brings blessings, as well as to counterbalance the negative narratives that develop on social media.

Abstract

Local language as a cultural treasure is very different from the sociolinguistic perspective. Culture positions local languages as wealth and relics of human creativity and karsa in the past which are very meaningful and must be maintained and preserved. When correlated with the nature of culture, of course, local languages are included in a dynamic culture which means that they will experience language deconstruction and/or reconstruction. It is impossible if the language does not accept a concept or vocabulary from another language. This means that the language will experience development both in terms of the vocabulary it has or the concept and its use. The use of language must be positioned not only as a tool for communication but as a cultural result that must be maintained and preserved. This paper tries to explain how local language preservation occurs in Indonesia in the realm of culture and sociolinguistics.

Abstract

Conceptual understanding is a critical aspect of learning, particularly in biology, where students must grasp complex and abstract concepts. This study investigates the relationship between students' learning styles and their comprehension of the topic of viruses in a tenth-grade science class at MA Raudlatus Syabab Jember during the 2023/2024 academic year. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, utilizing questionnaires, observations, and interviews to gather data from 34 students and their biology teacher. The findings indicate that visual learners exhibit strong comprehension when using images, diagrams, and structured notes; auditory learners perform better when engaging in discussions and listening to verbal explanations; and kinesthetic learners achieve deeper understanding through hands-on activities and practical demonstrations. However, each learning style presents unique challenges that can hinder comprehension if instructional methods are not aligned with students’ preferences. The study highlights the necessity of incorporating multimodal teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring more effective knowledge retention and academic success.
