Abstract

Sexual violence, which includes actions that demean or attack an individual's body and reproductive functions, causes profound physical and psychological suffering and hinders victims' access to education and healthcare. Ideally, restitution aims to compensate victims for both material and immaterial losses, as stipulated in Law No. 31 of 2014, Supreme Court Regulation No. 1 of 2022, and Law No. 12 of 2022. However, in practice, many restitution cases are not effectively implemented due to the financial incapacity of the perpetrators. This study uses a juridical-empirical method to evaluate the restitution mechanism at the LPSK Representative Office in Medan and assess the restitution system from the perspectives of Criminal Law and Islamic Criminal Law. The research findings indicate that from the perspective of Criminal Law, the restitution system faces major challenges due to the inability of perpetrators to meet their payment obligations, despite adequate regulations and procedures. From the perspective of Islamic Criminal Law, the restoration of victims' rights, known as mahr mitsil or diyat, offers a restorative approach that can complement the restitution system by emphasizing the perpetrator's responsibility to fairly compensate for the losses. This study highlights the need for adjustments in the restitution procedure and detailed evaluation of the perpetrators' financial capacity to enhance the effectiveness of the restitution system.

Abstract

The aim of this community service is to provide knowledge and understanding regarding political education as a learning process for the community in Konawe Islands Regency. Through the dissemination of political education for farming and fishing communities in Konawe Kepualaun Regency, this activity is considered very effective in providing political education related to legal policies in the form of threats to perpetrators and recipients of money, especially in general elections. The results of implementing this activity created an active and focused discussion due to the participation of the community who were willing to give their time and presence to participate as participants in community service activities in Konawe Islands Regency. In this discussion, the aim of this activity is to find out the public's knowledge regarding legal policies, as well as providing an opportunity for the public to convey their hopes and realities in accepting legal policies in Konawe Islands Regency. Thus, the results of the discussion in this activity show that public knowledge regarding legal policies in the Konawe Islands Regency is still very lacking, this is due to the lack of information that the public has regarding this matter. Therefore, it is hoped that this service activity will continue and requires evaluation in order to improve political education for the community in Konawe Islands Regency.

Abstract

The issue of early marriage has become a polemic and still occurs frequently in Indonesian society. This paper considers the importance of limiting the age of marriage to prevent negative physical, social and emotional impacts on children. This paper abstracts how early marriage in Indonesia impacts family resilience. This type of research is field research, with a text analysis approach related to social issues to answer related factors that influence early marriage and how to improve family resilience. The author conducted research by interviewing five people, one of whom is the deputy head of the Religious Court, the other four are actors who play the role of parents in fulfilling the economical and social needs of children in low-income families, the impact of the increase in the marriage age limit on the rise in marriage dispensation applications at the Indonesian Religious Court, irregularities in marriage dispensation, the phenomenon of underage marriage, the practice of nikah sirri and its implications for marriage registration in Indonesia. The results show the need for better education, economic access, substantial law enforcement, and changes in social and cultural norms to address early marriage, concluding that limiting the age of marriage is vital to achieving family stability, happiness and well-being in Indonesia.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran IPS di SD perlu dicarikan suatu solusi agar pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan dapat memberikan hasil optimal. Salah satu solusinya adalah dengan menerapkan suatu media pembelajaran yang dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang nyaman bagi siswa. Media pembelajaran sebagai wahana untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar, sebagai alat komunikasi guna mengefektifkan proses belajar mengajar, salah satu media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dalam pembelajaran adalah media pembelajaran bermain King Ludo. Metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu dengan pendekatan kolaboratif antara pengusul dengan mitra. Pendekatan ini perlu dilakukan agar pelaksanakan kegiatan berjalan sesuai dengan rencana dan tidak ada halangan yang bersifat teknis. Reid (2004) mengemukakan bahwa collaborative learning memiliki lima tahapan, yaitu: 1) Engagement. 2) Exploration. 3) Transformation. 4) Presentation. 5) Reflection. Pembahasan King Ludo adalah model yang menggunakan papan catur dimainkan oleh 4 orang siswa, semua siswa bermain games memainkan bidak-bidak dari start sampai finish. King ludo ini adalah suatu games yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPS SD. Media King Ludo terdiri dari papan catur, bidak, dadu, gelas, dan kotak soal. Hasil Penilaian Ketercapaian Program dari jumlah peserta 30 orang menyatakan bahwa 100% memiliki kebermanfaatan yang sangat signifikan dalam rangka untuk menambah pengetahuan para guru yang berada di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Sedang kepuasan mitra terhadap pelaksanaan PkM dosen ini menyatakan 97.2% menyatakan sangat puas hal ini ditandai dengan para peserta antusias mengikuti pelatihan ini sampai waktu yang ditentukan berakhir.

Abstract

Di pasar pusat Sambas masih ditemukan juru parkir yang tidak menjalankan tugas sebagaimana diatur dalam Daerah Kabupaten Sambas Nomor 10 Tahun 2004 tentang Tata Tertib Pengelolaan Parkir seperti tidak menggunakan rompi khusus juru parkir, tidak memberikan karcis kepada pengguna layanan parkir, serta tidak menggunakan tanda pengenal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana pelayanan parkir di Pasar Sambas dalam Perspektif Peraturan Daerah Nomor 10 Tahun 2004 tentang Tata Tertib Pengelolaan Perparkiran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang besifat penelitian lapangan (field research). Untuk memperoleh data, peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelayanan parkir di Pasar Sambas dimulai dari penyediaan fasilitas parkir, pemberian izin parkir, penyelenggara fasilitas parkir, dan juru parkir. Secara umum pelayanan parkir di pasar sambas masih belum sesuai dengan Peraturan Daerah Nomor 10 Tahun 2004 tentang Tata Tertib Pengelolaan Perparkiran. Hal ini terlihat dari fasilitas parkir yang belum sepenuhnya memadai, masih ada lokasi parkir yang menggunakan bahu jalan yang sempit. Selain itu, juru parkir tidak menggunakan rompi khusus juru parkir, tidak memberikan karcis kepada pengguna layanan parkir, serta tidak menggunakan tanda pengenal. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kurang maksimalnya pelayanan parkir di pasar sambas antara lain faktor kebijakan, faktor instansi Pelaksana, faktor lingkungan, dan faktor sumber daya manusia.

Abstract

This research examines the regulatory and religious perspectives on female circumcision in Indonesia, focusing on the interplay between Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) No. 28/2024 and Fatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) No. 9A/2008. The study aims to analyze the compatibility of these regulations with Islamic traditions, particularly the Shafi'i school of thought, and assess their implications for women’s rights and health. A qualitative comparative approach was employed, utilizing document analysis of the two regulations alongside relevant Islamic jurisprudential sources. Data were further contextualized through a normative-juridical framework, allowing for an in-depth exploration of religious, legal, and public health considerations. The findings reveal significant tensions between the two regulatory frameworks. While the MUI fatwa permits female circumcision within safe procedural limits and aligns with Shafi'i jurisprudence, PP No. 28/2024 emphasizes the protection of women's physical and psychological health, categorizing female circumcision as potentially harmful. Both frameworks aim to safeguard women’s well-being, yet diverge in their application of this principle. This study contributes original insights by situating the debate within the broader discourse on the intersection of religion and modern regulatory systems in Indonesia. It highlights the need for a balanced approach that respects religious traditions while prioritizing women’s rights and health. The findings have significant implications for policymakers and religious leaders, suggesting the necessity of harmonizing religious practices with modern legal standards to address public health concerns and uphold human rights in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

BP2JK currently has an organizational structure with duties and authorities that have been determined for each section. However, in its implementation there are still some unclear instructions from leaders in carrying out tasks, and there are still leaders who do not pay attention to the needs and desires of subordinates. The effectiveness of an organization can be influenced by work engagement, transformational leadership, organizational culture, and knowledge management. Therefore, improvements through human resources are very necessary in restoring the performance of a company or organization. Objective: The aim of this research is to identify factors and analyze the level of significance of factors that influence the effectiveness of the BP2JK organization in the West Sulawesi Region. Method: The research method used is quantitative research. The unit of analysis used in this research focuses on individual employees of BP2JK West Sulawesi Region with a population of 100 people. The sampling technique to determine the sample that will be used in this research uses a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling with a sample result of 80 people. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire. Results: The results obtained in this research are the influence of transformational leadership on organizational effectiveness resulting in a t-statistic of 2,632 > 1.98. Can be concluded Acceptable. The influence of organizational culture on organizational effectiveness produces a t-statistic of 1.257 < 1.98. Can be concluded Unacceptable. The influence of knowledge management on organizational effectiveness produces a t-statistic of 0.818 < 1.98. Can be concluded Unacceptable. The influence of work engagement on organizational effectiveness produces a t-statistic of 4,775 > 1.98. Can be concluded Acceptable. Conclusion: Transformational leadership factors and work engagement have a significant effect on organizational effectiveness. The factors of organizational culture and knowledge management do not have a significant effect on organizational effectiveness. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide input to the BP2JK West Sulawesi Region in an effort to increase organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar Pengaruh Harga, dan Promosi Terhadap Keputusan Mahasiswa Memilih Kuliah di kampus Bisnis Umar Usman, Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif, Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa kampus Bisnis Umar Usman tahun 2021/2022, Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 48 mahasiswa dengan pendekatan accidental sampling (pengambilan sampel secara kebetulan). Hasil analisis awal yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa indikator yang digunakan valid untuk mengukur variabel yang ada. Hasil analisis selanjutnya mendapati bahwa dari ketiga variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis antara Harga (X1) berpengaruh terhadap Keputusan (Y) mahasiswa memulih kuliah. Diperoleh hasil adalah sebesar 8,5% diikuti variabel promosi dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 15,6%, kesimpulan, bahwa harga dan promosi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih kuliah di kampus Bisnis Umar Usman adalah sebesar 16,8%

Abstract

The growing phenomenon of "Marriage is Scary" on social media, particularly on TikTok, has influenced Muslim teenagers in Medan Johor's views on marriage. The trend highlights fear and ambivalence towards marriage with negative narratives that focus on the burdens and challenges of marriage. This study aims to explore the impact of these trends on Muslim teenagers' perceptions, as well as the relevance of religious understanding and the role of social media in shaping attitudes towards marriage. The method used is juridical sociological with a qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews, questionnaires and observation. The Legal Benefit Theory in this study shows that law can serve as an instrument that not only protects individuals from the impact of misperceptions, but also ensures social welfare in the long run. The results show that this trend has an impact on the decline in teenagers' interest in marriage, the increase in hedonistic behavior and individualism, and the shift in family values. On the other hand, a strong religious understanding can be a protective factor against these negative influences. In conclusion, it is important for families, schools and religious communities to improve media literacy and provide contextualized religious guidance to strengthen the understanding of marriage in Islam as an act of worship that brings blessings, as well as to counterbalance the negative narratives that develop on social media.

Abstract

Local language as a cultural treasure is very different from the sociolinguistic perspective. Culture positions local languages as wealth and relics of human creativity and karsa in the past which are very meaningful and must be maintained and preserved. When correlated with the nature of culture, of course, local languages are included in a dynamic culture which means that they will experience language deconstruction and/or reconstruction. It is impossible if the language does not accept a concept or vocabulary from another language. This means that the language will experience development both in terms of the vocabulary it has or the concept and its use. The use of language must be positioned not only as a tool for communication but as a cultural result that must be maintained and preserved. This paper tries to explain how local language preservation occurs in Indonesia in the realm of culture and sociolinguistics.
