Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Islamic educational management values based on the Qur’an and Hadith in managing Islamic educational institutions, with a case study at SD IT Ma’arif Padang Panjang. The background of this research stems from the weak managerial systems found in several Islamic educational institutions, which have led to suboptimal achievement of educational goals, both academically and spiritually. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, using data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis is conducted through the interpretation of relevant Qur’anic verses, Hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and their application in the field. The results indicate that management principles in Islam emphasize not only rationality and efficiency but also ethical values, spirituality, and moral responsibility. The concept of amanah serves as a fundamental basis for educational leadership, while the value of hidayah reinforces the role of educators as moral and intellectual guides. This study concludes that the Qur’an and Hadith provide a strong and comprehensive conceptual foundation for Islamic educational management. The novelty of this research lies in its synthetic approach, combining Qur’anic exegesis, Hadith analysis, and empirical field studies to demonstrate the relevance of Islamic values in addressing contemporary educational management challenges. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi nilai-nilai manajemen pendidikan Islam berdasarkan Al-Qur’an dan hadis dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan Islam, dengan studi kasus di SD IT Ma’arif Padang Panjang. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah lemahnya sistem manajerial di sejumlah lembaga pendidikan Islam yang berdampak pada kurang optimalnya pencapaian tujuan pendidikan, baik dari aspek akademik maupun spiritual. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan melalui kajian terhadap penafsiran ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an, hadis Nabi Muhammad SAW, serta implementasinya di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip manajemen dalam Islam tidak hanya menekankan aspek rasionalitas dan efisiensi, tetapi juga mengedepankan nilai-nilai etika, spiritualitas, dan tanggung jawab moral. Konsep amanah menjadi landasan utama dalam kepemimpinan pendidikan, sedangkan nilai hidayah memperkuat peran pendidik sebagai pembimbing akhlak dan intelektual. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Al-Qur’an dan hadis memberikan landasan konseptual yang kuat dan menyeluruh dalam manajemen pendidikan Islam. Kebaruan dari penelitian ini terletak pada pendekatan sintesis antara kajian tafsir, analisis hadis, dan studi empirik yang menunjukkan relevansi nilai-nilai Islam dalam menjawab tantangan manajemen pendidikan kontemporer.

Abstract

The increasing use of information technology, especially the internet, has enabled everyone to carry out various activities more accurately, with quality and quickly. Every organization can take advantage of the internet and information technology networks to carry out various activities electronically. Managers in various organizations are also expected to be able to analyze their performance on a constant and consistent basis with the utilization of available information technology. Utilization of information technology is associated with its importance in the management decision-making process. We can see that there is still a lack of organizations both in the public sector and organizations in the private sector that apply management information systems in decision making, especially in local government organizations. Information systems have a set of information components that are integrated with each other to produce specific goals. The management information system at MIN 1 Sawalunto can run well because it is supported by sophisticated technology, quality human resources and organizational commitment. Management information systems have an important role in the function of operational management and decision making. This system is also a very useful tool for the purpose of reviewing and controlling company operations. The main objective of the system at Min 1 Tanah Datar is to organize all the data collected from every level of the company, summarize it, and present it in a way that facilitates and improves the quality of decisions taken to increase the profitability and productivity of the company. The existence of an information system in a company can really help employees work so that their work becomes effective and efficient. Applications like this are also useful for start-up companies where they produce an effective and efficient information system management model to achieve maximum results for business start-ups.

Abstract

This study presents a literature review on the types and leadership styles in the context of Islamic education management. It aims to analyze relevant types of leadership and examine the effective leadership styles contributing to the success of Islamic education management. Through a comprehensive literature review, various types of leadership, including transformational, instructional, participative, and values-based leadership, are identified in the context of Islamic education management. Effective leadership styles such as consultative, collaborative, and visionary approaches are also analyzed based on relevant literature. The study emphasizes the importance of understanding and implementing leadership types and styles that align with Islamic values in Islamic education management. Strong leadership based on Islamic values has a positive impact on organizational culture, teaching quality, and staff development in Islamic educational institutions. The findings of this literature review provide valuable insights into the relevant types and leadership styles in Islamic education management. The study offers guidance for Islamic education leaders in leading and managing educational institutions. Furthermore, it contributes to a better understanding of the role of leadership in Islamic education and serves as a foundation for further research in this field.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the values contained in Surat Luqman verses 13-19 in education management at SMAN 1 Solok, Indonesia. Through a qualitative approach involving observation, interviews, and analysis of documents, the study explores how these values are integrated into school policies and practices. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the integration of Islamic values contributes significantly to the development of students' character, the increase of teachers' pedagogical capacity, and the strengthening of parental involvement. Despite facing challenges such as lack of resources and diversity of student backgrounds, SMAN 1 Solok has managed to implement these values effectively through the development of adaptive educational materials, inclusive educational approaches, and strengthened teacher training programs. This study emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach in education that focuses not only on academic achievement but also on the formation of students' morals and ethics
