Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop e-modules using 3D Pageflip Professional on Poetry Material in Class X SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli. This type of research is development research. The development model used is the 4D model. The first stage in the 4D model is the define stage carried out by researchers in the field. The second is design (design) carried out after finding the problems that have been defined in the initial stage. This design stage aims to design an e-module media that can be used in learning. The third stage is develop (development) carried out by obtaining a product feasibility value validated by material experts, linguists, and media experts.  And the fourth stage of desseminate (dissemination) is the spread of product development, but given the limited costs, it only reaches the development stage. Based on the results of the study, the developed e-module has been tested highly valid by material validators at 95.96%, linguists at 85%, and media experts at 98.75%. Furthermore, the e-module is also very practical to be used by students with a practicality percentage of 86.4%. The e-module was also effective with a percentage of classical completeness of 85.72%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to analyze the exemplary value of biographical texts for grade X students of SMK Swasta Kriten BNKP Gunungsitoli to improve learning conditions in analyzing the exemplary value of biographical texts by applying the Cooperative Script learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using the Cooperative Script learning model. In this study in the form of student written test results / assessment sheets, observation results, field notes, and documentation in learning. The research procedure is carried out in two cycles consisting of four elements of implementation 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observation, 4) reflection. The subjects of this study were grade X students of SMK Swasta Kriten BNKP Gunungsitoli even semester, totaling 15 people. The results showed an increase in ability in learning. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the application of the Cooperative Script learning model can improve students' ability to analyze the exemplary value of biographical texts in Class X-UPW SMK Private Christian BNKP Gunungsitoli

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi di SMK Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli, menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menganalisis struktur teks negosiasi masih banyak tidak tuntas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran Inkuiri dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa menganalisis struktur teks negosiasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Inkuiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan dalam pembelajaran menganalisis struktur teks negosiasi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Inkuiri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa; 1) menggunakan model pembelajaran Inkuiri  dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menganalisis struktur teks negosiasi di kelas X OTKP-3 SMK Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli; 2)  Penerapan model pembelajaran Inkuiri untuk menganalisis struktur teks negosiasi memberikan motivasi yang baik kepada siswa untuk menyelesaikan sebuah masalah yang ada. Saran; 1) diharapkan kepada siswa untuk meningkatkan minat baca dan kemapmpuan dalam belajar bahasa Indonesia; 2) diharapkan kepada peneliti untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar; 3) hendaknya peneliti selanjutnya menggunakan penelitian ini sebagai tambahan wawasan untuk melaksanakan penelitian.

Abstract

Kemampuan siswa dalam menulis surat pribadi dan surat dinas di UPTD SMP Negeri 4 Gunungsitoli tergolong rendah dibuktikan dengan ketuntasan klasikal siswa masih di bawah 50% dari jumlah siswa dalam kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa menulis surat (pribadi dan dinas) siswa kelas VII-D UPTD SMP Negeri 4 Gunungsitoli, pada semester genap, yang terdiri dari 31 siswa (19 laki-laki dan 12 perempuan) menggunakan model pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Tindakan Kelas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terjadi peningkatan kemampuan siswa menulis surat (pribadi dan dinas). Dapat disimpulkan: a) penggunaan model pembelajaran STAD dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis surat (pribadi dan dinas) di kelas VII-D UPTD SMP Negeri 4 Gunungsitoli; b) menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD proses pembelajaran menulis surat (pribadi dan dinas) memberikan motivasi yang baik kepada siswa. Saran: a) diharapkan kepada siswa untuk meningkatkan minat menulis dalam menulis surat (pribadi dan dinas) menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD; b) sebagai bahasan referensi  di program studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia di masa yang akan mendatang

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe the meaning and moral values contained in the lyrics of Nias folk songs "Ae Halõdo Paci Dan Lato-Lato" by Markus Halawa. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The data collection stage is using primary data and literature study. After collecting data, the next step is the data analysis stage, namely reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Then the data is reviewed descriptively and the presentation of the results of data analysis is presented in the form of descriptions of words by providing explanations about the lyrics of Nias folk songs "Ae Halödo Paci and Lato-Lato" by Markus Halawa. The results of the study indicate that there are three types of moral aspects, namely (1) Human relationships with God, namely Help; (2) Human relationships with themselves, namely Honest, Remembering, Strong, Confident, Promising, Sincere, Sad, Steadfast, Accepting Reality, and Hoping; (3) Human relationships with others, namely comforting, begging, believing, advice, honesty with circumstances, and messages.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify the factors that hinder the learning process of students in the scientific writing course at the University of Nias, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, during the sixth semester. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach and involves 23 students as respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that internal factors such as learning motivation, interest in learning, learning skills, cognitive abilities, and physical and mental health have a significant impact on students' learning outcomes. External factors such as family support, economic conditions, campus environment, teaching methods of lecturers, and campus facilities also affect the learning process. Generally, it was found that although most students have good learning and cognitive abilities, there are several challenges affecting their motivation, interest, and physical and mental health. External factors, such as inadequate campus facilities, uncomfortable learning environments, and ineffective teaching methods by lecturers, also contribute to hindering students' learning. This research emphasizes the importance of the campus providing sufficient support through guidance and counseling programs to help students overcome their learning difficulties, so they can achieve better learning outcomes and meet their academic goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Sawo. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research instruments used were interviews and documentation. The research object used is the effectiveness of the implementation of the independent curriculum. The subjects in this study were the principal, 3 teachers and 6 students. The data sources used in this research are primary data sources. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and data verification / conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by the researcher, it can be concluded that the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Sawo is effective.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the impact of addiction to the Mobile Legend application among Semester Vi Literature Language Education students The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The data collection stage is that data can be used in various ways. The data collected is in the form of collecting primary data. For the main literature study in the data collection method is to use the documentation method. After collecting data, the next step is the data analysis stage, namely inductive qualitative data analysis, data presentation, and conclusions. Then the data is reviewed descriptively and the presentation of the results of data analysis is presented in the form of interview results by explaining the impact of addiction to the Mobile Legend application among 6th semester literature language education students. Aspects of Motivational Value Namely Game Addicts What is Motivated Namely Filling Free Time and Entertainment, Interesting Features and Social Environments that Encourage Playing, Building Relationships and Social Interaction with Friends; (2) Advantages with Yourself Namely Recognition in the Game and Potential Income from Content, Making New Friends and Opportunities to Participate in Tournaments, Training Communication in Teams and Entertainment; (3) Negative Impacts Difficulty Managing Time, Irregular Eating and Sleeping Patterns, and Increased Emotions, Wasting Time, Health Problems, and Decreased Academic Achievement, Health Problems, Lack of Sleep, and Spending Money. As a result, playing Mobile Legends provides some positive impacts such as entertainment, skill enhancement, and income opportunities.

Abstract

The author's aim in conducting this research is to provide an understanding of the use of standard and non-standard language by Indonesian language lecturers and students, class B semester VI, within the scope of Nias University. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects of the research were Indonesian language lecturers and students, class B, sixth semester with the object being the use of standard and standard language at Nias University. Then the research instrument is used to assess the results through an assessment rubric. The assessment rubric starts from how to use standard and non-standard language, as well as how to pronounce it. After that, the technique used in data collection is observation, which involves direct observation by taking videos to be recorded as evidence. Then the Descriptive data analysis is used to provide an overview of standard and non-standard use. language by lecturers and students. As a result, the use of standard language is more dominantly used by lecturers than students, this is because the use of non-standard language is too inherent, which is triggered by increasingly advanced developments.

Abstract

This study was conducted because of the growing use of slang among teenagers in Gunungsitoli. Its goal was to examine how social media influences the evolution of slang among these adolescents. Qualitative research was employed with a descriptive approach. The researcher acted as the main data collection instrument, aided by a camera, field notes, and writing materials. Data were gathered through observation and video recordings, and analysis involved data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results revealed that numerous words from formal Indonesian have been transformed into widely used slang among teenagers, with notable positive and negative implications
