Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of student satisfaction with the facilities in Idanoi Private Junior High School. This research uses a qualitative method, a descriptive approach. In the research, the researcher used variables, namely student satisfaction and learning facilities so that information about it was obtained, then conclusions were drawn. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, observations, dissemination of questionnaires, and documentation. Data collection with data analysis, data collection is an integral part of data analysis activities. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the data analysis show that the level of student satisfaction at Idanoi Private Junior High School is already satisfied, where the school has equipped all classroom facilities, Idanoi Private Junior High School in the classroom is included in the high criteria because the classroom is very adequate, free and has near-perfect completeness so that it can be used as a comfortable, neat and effective learning place

Abstract

This study is based on the difference in motivation when comparing the learning motivation of students who live in boarding houses with students who live with their parents, students who live with their parents have higher learning motivation compared to the learning motivation of living in boarding houses. This study aims to distinguish the motivation of students who live in boarding houses and students who live with their parents. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The subjects used in this study are students from the University of Nias. The object of this research is student learning motivation. The data collection technique uses interviews and observations to students in the classroom. Primary data were obtained through observation and interviews, focusing on factors that affect learning motivation, such as independence, social support, and personal goals. Data analysis techniques use reduction, data presentation, and data verification.  The results showed significant differences in learning motivation between the two groups of students, which was driven by the context of their living environment. This research highlights the importance of these factors in supporting the student learning process in higher education.

Abstract

One of the responsibilities of parents as first adults is to educate children about their family environment, as children are usually around their mother and father when they are born. This research uses a qualitative approach. This study aims to analyze the influence of parental participation in school activities on student achievement. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects used in this study are parents and students. The determination of the subject uses purposive techniques. The data collection technique used is interviews with parents and students. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that parental participation in school involves physical presence, learning support, collaboration with teachers, and involvement in important decisions for children's development. Parents' participation in school activities has a significant positive impact. Their involvement strengthens the school-family relationship, providing benefits for children's development in academic, social, and emotional aspects

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of habits and the use of regional languages in SMP Negeri 7 Idanogawo. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study, interview and questionnaire techniques. Interviews were conducted with Indonesian language teachers at SMP Negeri 7 Idanogawo and questionnaires were given to 20 students in class VII-A at SMP Negeri 7 Idanogawo. The results of the study show that (1) the acquisition of regional languages by students to other students is more often used than Indonesian in school learning. (2) the impact of regional language learning on students provides positive and negative information. The positive impact of the use of regional languages in learning is that students who study at school use their mother tongue as the language of instruction, tend not to experience difficulties in participating in teaching and learning activities. Meanwhile, the negative impact of using regional languages is: it can make it difficult to use Indonesian in the learning process

Abstract

Character education has been carried out since ancient times, but in the long run it will be eroded by modernization and modernization is often lost. This condition is suspected to have originated from the growth of verbalistic culture from the learning process which tends to be limited to textual moral education. This attraction aims to find out the strengthening of character-based moral education. The type of research used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study were children, adolescents and young people who were exposed to the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The findings of this study, namely education to form morals (moral education), or education to develop character (character education), in the current context are very relevant to overcome the moral crisis that is currently hitting the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Moral education is the cultivation, development, and formation of noble morals in a person. Moral education is a behavioral priority that must be implemented, fought, and habituated to by a person from childhood to adulthood. Character education is a form of human activity in which there are actions that educate and are intended for the next generation

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, bersumber dari Novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata. Novel adalah salah satu genre karya sastra yang berbentuk prosa, kisah di dalam novel merupakan hasil karya imajinasi yang membahas tentang permasalahan kehidupan seseorang atau sebagai tokoh. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis apa saja interaksi sosial yang terdapat dalam Novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata. Interaksi sosial adalah hubungan timbal balik antara individu maupun kelompok untuk menjelajahi hubungan pertemanan, diskusi, kerjasama yang diterapkan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. bentuk-bentuk interaksi sosial tersebut ada dua. Pertama, bentuk asosiatif yaitu proses interaksi sosial yang mengandung nilai-nilai positif seperti kerjasama, akomodasi, dan asimilasi. Kedua, bentuk disosiatif yaitu proses interaksi sosial yang mengandung nilai-nilai negatif seperti persaingan, kontravensi, dan pertentangan atau pertikaian. Adapun bentuk-bentuk interaksi sosial yang terdapat dalam novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata adalah: nilai sosial kepedulian, nilai sosial tanggung jawab, nilai sosial kesabaran, dan nilai sosial tolong menolong. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, sourced from the Novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. Novel is one of the genres of literary works in the form of prose, the story in the novel is the result of imagination that discusses the problems of a person's life or as a character. The purpose of this study is to analyze what social interactions are contained in the Novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. Social interaction is a reciprocal relationship between individuals or groups to explore friendships, discussions, cooperation that are applied in community life. There are two forms of social interaction. First, the associative form, namely the process of social interaction that contains positive values such as cooperation, accommodation, and assimilation. Second, the dissociative form, namely the process of social interaction that contains negative values such as competition, controversy, and conflict or conflict. The forms of social interaction contained in the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata are: social values of concern, social values of responsibility, social values of patience, and social values of helping each other.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe the moral values ​​contained in Noibe Halawa's Neglected Sheet. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data for this research are the texts in the novel Selamat Terabaikan by Noibe Halawa. The data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research and discussion of the novel Selamat Terabaikan by Noibe Halawa, several conclusions can be drawn, namely that the forms of moral values ​​contained in the novel Selamat Terabaikan include: the form of moral values ​​has three types, namely; the first is the form of moral values ​​in human relations with God which has variants in the form of believing and praying to God, and giving thanks; secondly, the manifestation of moral values ​​in humans' relationships with themselves has the variants of patience, sincerity, honesty, self-confidence, simplicity and surrender; Meanwhile, the form of moral values ​​in human relations with other humans is mutual help and caring for others. The most data found in the form of moral values ​​is the form of moral values ​​of human relationships with themselves. The total data that has been obtained as a manifestation of moral values ​​in this novel is 21 data.

Abstract

The problem with the learning process at SMA Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli is the lack of variation in the worksheets used so that students are less responsive and less motivated. This type of research is development research using the 4D model which consists of 4 stages, namely the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the deployment stage. The results of this study are Inquiry-based Indonesian worksheets on material analyzing the meaning and language of biographical texts. Material expert assessment of revision I reached 78.7%, revision II reached 82.2%, linguist revision I reached 71.4%, revision II reached 82.1%, design expert revision I reached 78.3%, revision II reached 88.3% with very decent criteria. Based on the assessment of 86% individual trials, 90% small group trials and 93.8% field trials with very practical criteria. Assessment of student learning outcomes tests obtained a percentage of classical completeness in 100% individual trials, 100% small group trials and 83% field trials with very effective categories.

Abstract

Background. Education is the main pillar in the development of a country, where the quality of education plays a crucial role in forming the next generation of high quality and competitiveness. Student learning motivation in Junior High School is a very important factor in achieving this goal. Purpose. This research aims to investigate the influence of the school environment on students” learning motivation at State Junior High School 1 Alasa Talumuzoi. Method. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through questionnaires, interviews and direct observation of 20 students in class VIII-A.  Results. The results of the questionnaire data analysis show that the influence of the school environment on student learning motivation is in the medium category, with a score percentage of 49.55%. A clean, beautiful, safe and comfortable school environment makes a positive contribution in increasing students” learning motivation by creating an atmosphere that is conducive to learning. Positive interactions between students, teachers and school staff also play an important role in creating a pleasant learning climate. Conclusion. This research provides a deeper understanding of how the school environment at State Junior High School 1 Alasa Talumuzoi plays a role in shaping student learning motivation. The implication of this research is that efforts are needed to optimize the school environment in order to improve the quality of learning and overall student academic achievement.
