Abstract

Science (science) has played a fundamental role in shaping the development of modern society through various innovations and discoveries that have dramatically changed people's way of life. Advances in medicine have increased life expectancy and improved the quality of public health, while advances in information and communication technology have created a more connected and informed society. Discoveries in agriculture and industry made it possible to produce food and consumer goods on a large scale, thereby changing the economic and social structure of society. However, the impact of science on society is not limited to material and technological aspects alone. The scientific method and rational thinking that are the basis of science have shaped modern society's perspective in understanding and solving various problems. This encourages the development of a society that is more critical, objective and evidence-based in decision making. Apart from that, science has also contributed to overcoming various global challenges such as climate change, food security and public health, as well as creating new ethical and social dilemmas that society must face today.

Abstract

Mathematics, with its unique symbolic language and logical structure, has long been recognized as an effective tool for training the mind. This studyaims to delve deeper into the specific role of mathematics in developing deductive reasoning skills. Through a theoretical review and empirical analysis, this study identifies how mathematical concepts such as proofs, theorems, and problem-solving contribute to the formation of systematic and rational thinking patterns. The results of the study show that effective mathematics learning can provide a strong foundation for improving individuals' ability to think critically and solve complex problems

Abstract

Science has made a major contribution in advancing human civilization. However, it is important to recognize that science has inherent limitations. This limitation arises from the scientific method which relies on empirical observation and experimentation, making it difficult to study phenomena that are subjective or spiritual in nature. In addition, science is also limited in predicting random or complex events. The implications of these limitations of science are far-reaching, ranging from science's inability to answer questions about the meaning of life to difficulties in making ethical decisions involving technology. A deep understanding of the limitations of science can help society to appreciate the role of science in life while remaining aware of the importance of other values ​​such as religion, arts and humanities. In this way, humans can build a more holistic and balanced world view

Abstract

The Community Service Program in Serut Village is designed to empower the community through culture-based literacy, focusing on waste management, the preservation of traditional games, and the promotion of local products under the GEOMETRI initiative. This program addresses the issues of plastic waste pollution and the low interest in reading among rural communities. The methods employed include training for mothers and school-aged children in creating flower arrangements from waste materials, participating in traditional math-based games, and running a marketplace. The service team provides sewing training and supports children in improving their literacy skills. The outcomes of this program include enhancing the creative skills of the community, reducing waste, and strengthening environmental literacy and awareness. Through the GEOMETRI program, village residents learn how to better manage waste by repurposing unused materials, such as making buckets from waste. Furthermore, the preservation of traditional math-based games helps to foster greater public interest in reading and literacy, ultimately contributing to heightened environmental awareness. The market also allows local products from rural communities to be promoted more widely, creating new sustainable economic opportunities. This program is expected to serve as a model for sustainable community empowerment in other areas.

Abstract

The rainy season represents one of the climatic phenomena characterized by a discernible augmentation in precipitation within a given locale over a specified temporal interval, exhibiting a consistent pattern. Conversely, precipitation denotes the latent quantity of rainfall in a specific geographical area. Precipitation assumes a pivotal role in the sustenance of human livelihoods, particularly within the domains of agriculture, hydrology, and related fields. The primary objective of this research endeavor is to elucidate the mechanistic impact of observed precipitation, employing radar imagery systems, on agricultural productivity. This investigation adopts a non-experimental research methodology with a literature review paradigm. Radar imagery, functioning as a remote sensing apparatus, serves the purpose of forecasting precipitation in a designated region. The underlying principle of radar imagery entails the utilization of electromagnetic wave sensors with elongated wavelengths, thereby enabling the depiction of the potential intensity of detected precipitation by meteorological radar. Through systematic analysis, this information can be leveraged by individuals to prognosticate the growth dynamics of diverse plant species, thereby facilitating an augmentation in agricultural productivity. Abstract

Hidroponik adalah metode pertanian yang tidak memanfaatkan tanah sebagai media pertumbuhan, melainkan mengandalkan air sebagai gantinya. Hidroponik NFT adalah metode penyediaan larutan nutrisi melalui aliran dangkal yang terus mengalir. Penelitian  ini  menggunakan  metode  studi  literatur  atau  penelitian  kepustakaan. Konsep fisika fluida yang terdapat pada sistem hidroponik NFT yaitu, viskositas, laju aliran air, tekanan hidrostatik, hukum kontinuitas, dan hukum bernoulli. Terdapat hubungan terbalik antara suhu dan nilai viskositas cairan, yaitu semakin tinggi suhu maka nilai viskositas semakin rendah. Adapun kecepatan laju aliran yang terlalu tinggi dan lambat menyulitkan akar untuk menyerap nutrisi. Penerapan konsep Hukum Bernoulli pada sistem perpipaan salah satunya pada sistem hidroponik membuat air lebih cepat untuk mencapai titik tertinggi dari sistem perpipaan yang telah diciptakan. Abstract

Elektrokultur diketahui memiliki pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkecambahan tanaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui analisis konsep fisika elektrokultur sebagai metode stimulasi pertumbuhan dan perkecambahan tanaman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur artikel internasional dan nasional. Artikel ini menyajikan data dalam bentuk deskriptif dengan tabel hasil penelitian. Elektrokultur mempengaruhi hasil dari pertumbuhan dan perkecambahan tanaman. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk memperjelas konsep fisika dalam masalah ini.

Abstract

Kopi menjadi salah satu komoditas unggulan sektor pertanian yang berperan besar dalam membantu perekonomian Indonesia dan menyediakan lapangan pekerjaan. Faktor pengupasan kulit dari biji yang lama dapat mengganggu proses pengolahan kopi. Pengupasan kulit dari biji merupakan tahap paling krusial dalam pemrosesan biji kopi, terutama dalam mengurangi kerusakan produk dan menjaga kualitas mutu biji kopi. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan mesin pulper kopi menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas pengupasan biji kopi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji lebih dalam mengenai konsep mekanika pada berbagai jenis mesin pulper kopi dengan metode pengumpulan data dari literatur yang telah kami peroleh. Diperoleh lima jenis mesin pulper kopi yaitu mesin pulper motor listrik, pisau silinder berputar, rol ganda, TEP-JLL 2015, dan mesin pulper-huller dua fungsi. Prinsip momen gaya diterapkan saat putaran motor dialihkan melalui sistem transmisi untuk menghasilkan torsi yang cukup besar untuk menggerakkan komponen pengupas. Selain itu, mesin portabel juga menerapkan mekanika roda dan poros dalam sistem mobilisasi untuk memudahkan perpindahan di medan menanjak. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pemilihan mesin pulper perlu disesuaikan dengan kondisi geografis, skala produksi, dan jenis kopi yang diolah agar diperoleh hasil pengupasan yang optimal.

Abstract

The increasing pressures caused by climate change and global population growth are driving the need for innovation in the agricultural sector to ensure sustainable food security. Greenhouses represent one solution as they can create a controlled microenvironment to support optimal plant growth. This study discusses the application of physical principles in climate control systems in greenhouses integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) technology, using a systematic literature analysis approach. Various physics concepts, such as heat transfer mechanisms, thermodynamics, fluid flow, and light intensity measurement, are applied to regulate environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and lighting efficiently. Technology support in the form of sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, and intelligent algorithms enables the process to occur automatically and responsively. The results show that the application of physics in the design and operation of greenhouses can improve energy efficiency, agricultural productivity, and promote sustainable precision agriculture. This agro-physics-based approach serves as an important foundation for the future development of smart greenhouse systems.
