Abstract

Kajian pendidikan karakter ini menyajikan analisis pemikiran seorang ahli filsafat Pendidikan Islam bernama Al-Ghazali. Dalam penelitian ini, pemikiran Al-Ghazali tentang karakter berkaitan erat dengan konsep moral. Konsep moral (karakter) dalam pemikiran al-Ghazali dibagi menjadi dua kategori, yaitu kategori karakter yang harus dihindari dan kategori karakter yang harus dilakukan dalam proses pendidikan. Melalui kategori di atas, al-Ghazali berfokus pada pendidikan karakter husnul huluq (perilaku baik). Konsep husnul huluq menurutnya merupakan inti dari pendidikan karakter. Sehingga, pendidikan karakter Al-Ghazali sangat relevan untuk mengatasi masalah dekadensi moral yang kita hadapi saat ini dan di masa depan. Konsep pendidikan karakter al-Ghazali dapat dianalisis dengan tiga cara, antara lain: Karakter Manusia Cenderung Konservatif, Tidak Dapat Dipisahkan dari Teosentris dan Dipengaruhi oleh Pengalaman Spiritual. Pendidikan karakter al-Ghazali juga memiliki arti yang tinggi dalam pendidikan di Indonesia. Terbukti dari pesantren hingga perguruan tinggi keagamaan, karya-karyanya selalu dijadikan acuan dan bahan diskusi. Tak hanya itu, pendidikan karakternya tertuang dalam seluruh komponen pendidikan. Komponen pendidikan meliputi tujuan pendidikan, kurikulum, metode, pendidik dan peserta didik.

Abstract

Background: Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a significant concern in the field of global health. However, studies on the relationship between viral load, opportunistic infections, and quality-of-life among them are limited. Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between viral load count, the presence of opportunistic infection, and the quality-of-life among people living with HIV. Methods: A cross-sectional study was used involving 35 respondents recruited through convenience sampling. The quality-of-life of individuals living with HIV was assessed using the World Health Organization Quality-of-Life instrument for HIV. Statistical analysis using descriptive statistics, including mean, standard deviation, and proportion, and bivariate analysis with p-value<0.05. Results: Of the 35 participants, the majority were male (57.1%), with a mean age of 41.63 (9.09), and had a low education level (51.4%). The mean quality-of-life score was 86.88 (12.27), with a mean duration of ARV treatment of 7.23 years (5.36), undetectable viral load (68.6%), living with opportunistic infections (80%), and with tuberculosis being the most common (52.63%). There was a significant correlation between viral load and overall quality-of-life (p-value 0.04). Conclusion: The results of viral load testing and the identification of opportunistic infections can serve as indicators to assess the quality-of-life among people living with HIV. The outcomes of this study have practical implications for enhancing healthcare services in clinical settings. This information can guide the implementation of targeted interventions to strengthen social relationships and these individuals' environmental quality-of-life.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rampant behaviour of ‘shaking hands’ which is increasingly being done by humans. Hand-shaking behaviour is a way of dressing people that is not as usual to look different with the aim of attracting the attention of others and acting arrogant. This handshaking behaviour is a behaviour that is disliked by the Prophet (SAW) and it is even mentioned that Allāh SWT threatens to dress the perpetrators of shaking hands in the world in clothes of humiliation in the hereafter. This research refers to identifying the object of reception in terms of informative and performative functions. Hadith Shuhrah in the film "Nyentri: A Short Film of the Hadith of Rasulullāh SAW’. Based on the research focus that has been formulated, this research specifically aims to find out or identify informative aspects and performative aspects as part of one of the methods of living hadith reception of Hadith Shuhrah in the film ‘Nyentri: A Short Film of the Hadith of Rasulullāh SAW’. To identify these problems, the research uses a descriptive qualitative method of case study type because it aims to describe the informative and performative aspects or forms of hadith reception in the film ‘ Nyentri: A Short Film of the Hadith of Rasulullāh SAW’. The findings or conclusions of this study are the existence of the hadith of Shuhrah recited by one of the characters in the film so that it is identified as a reception of the informative function aspect, after a search was made for the hadith, it was found that the hadith was narrated by Ibn Mājah and Abū Dawūd in their books. Furthermore, the response of the characters to Shuhrah ‘s hadith that had been recited in the film was identified as the reception of the performative function aspect.

Abstract

Penilaian merupakan elemen penting dalam sebuah proses pembelajaran. Bila proses pembelajaran memiliki sumbangsih besar dalam meningkatkan dan mengembangkan aspek spiritual peserta didik, maka evaluasi berfungsi dalam menyalurkan informasi untuk memberikan penilaian terhadap keberhasilan belajar peserta didik. Tanpa proses evaluasi, maka informasi tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran peserta didik tidak akan diperoleh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertama, rencana evaluasi pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti (PAI-BP) kelas XII di SMA N 2 Plus Panyabungan. Kedua, mengetahui penerapan evaluasi pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti kelas XII di SMA N 2 Plus Panyabungan. Ketiga, mengetahui hasil dari evaluasi pembelajaran mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti kelas XII di SMA N 2 Plus Panyabungan dan feedback yang diperoleh. Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang ditemukan diolah dan dianalisis secara induktif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap perencanaan evaluasi dirumuskan dalam bentuk rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) yang menetapkan metode penilaian pada ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Secara umum pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti telah berjalan sesuai dengan rencana dan rumusan yang telah ditetapkan dalam RPP. Namun dalam proses evaluasi masih belum dapat menyeimbangkan antara nilai kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik dalam menginput nilai pada rapor.

Abstract

This research aims to present and try to analyze what are the urgent components in dealing with rural communities so that da'wah messages can be accepted and practiced by them. Ethics, aesthetics and strategy have inseparable ties in conveying and spreading Islamic values in the world of da'wah. The methodology used in this research is qualitative, while the type is a literature study without involving field or laboratory observation analysis. The result is that the components of da'wah which include ethics, aesthetics, and da'wah strategies each have four components. Ethics, First, openness and tolerance, Second, exemplary. Third, justice. Fourth, caution in communication. Dawah aesthetics, First, language that is easy to understand. Second, creativity in message delivery. Third, respect for local traditions. Fourth, interesting delivery. And da'wah strategies, First, social and cultural mapping, Second, communal approach. Third, the role of local actors, and Fourth, contextualization of messages.

Abstract

This investigation focuses on optimizing the sinker electrical discharge machining (sinker-EDM) process parameters for high tensile strength steel (HTSS), specifically SKD-11, utilizing Box-Behnken Response Surface Methodology (BB-RSM). Sinker-EDM is a commonly used technique in manufacturing moulds, dies, and components for sectors like automotive and aerospace. This process eliminates direct contact between the electrode and the workpiece. However, its low material removal rate (MRR) constrains productivity. This research endeavours to enhance MRR by employing rectangular graphite electrodes. The Box-Behnken Response Surface Methodology (BB-RSM) was utilized to evaluate the effects of pulse current, spark-on time, and gap voltage on MRR. The optimal MRR of 45.49 mm³/min was attained at a pulse current of 16 A, spark-on time of 400 µs, and gap voltage of 45 V. ANOVA revealed that pulse current and spark-on time significantly influenced MRR. In contrast, gap voltage had an insignificant impact. Interaction and surface plot analyses confirmed that high pulse current and extended spark-on time resulted in the maximum MRR. These findings provide valuable insights for optimizing the sinker-EDM process for SHTSS, contributing to enhanced productivity and efficiency in manufacturing.

Abstract

Learning motivation is the drive that encourages individuals to remain enthusiastic about learning. Previous research has explained various forms of motivation, such as internal and external motivation. One aspect of internal motivation is self-awareness or Mindfulness. However, research on Mindfulness as a factor influencing learning motivation, particularly in Generation Z, is still quite limited. Therefore, this study aims to examine the role of Mindfulness in enhancing learning motivation in Generation Z. This research uses purposive sampling to select samples that meet the research criteria. The participants involved are Generation Z individuals aged between 12 and 27 years, residing in Banten, and currently enrolled as active students. To measure the level of learning motivation, the Academic Motivation Scale (AMS) is used, while the Five Facet Mindfulness Scale (FMMQ-10) is used to measure the level of Mindfulness. The results of the study show a significant positive relationship between Mindfulness and learning motivation, with a regression coefficient of 0.152. This means that the higher an individual's level of Mindfulness, the higher their learning motivation will be. These findings suggest that Mindfulness can play an important role in improving learning motivation, especially when applied alongside other supporting factors such as social support, emotional regulation, and a conducive learning environment. This study provides evidence that a Mindfulness-based approach has the potential to be applied in strategies to enhance learning motivation. Therefore, the development of programs integrating Mindfulness practices into students' daily lives, particularly among Generation Z, could be an effective step in improving the quality of their learning experience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi unsur budaya dan konsep matematika yang terdapat pada objek wisata religi Bayt Al-Qur'an Al-Akbar. Bayt Al-Qur'an Al-Akbar terkenal dengan Al-Qur'an raksasa yang dipahat pada lembaran kayu tembesu, menjadi salah satu destinasi wisata religi unggulan yang menggabungkan keindahan seni ukir khas Palembang dengan nilai-nilai religius. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi dan mengadopsi prosedur penelitian Spradley yang terdiri dari enam langkah. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan pengurus, dokumentasi lapangan, dan studi literatur. Teknik analisis data yaitu analisis domain dan taksonomi. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa kajian unsur budaya khas Palembang yang berupa seni ukir dengan berbagai motif di dalam Bayt Al-Quran Al-Akbar dan berbagai konsep yang termasuk didalam konsep matematika yaitu refleksi, translasi, segitiga siku-siku, persegi panjang, dan balok. Penelitian ini tidak hanya memperkaya pemahaman tentang keterkaitan antara budaya dan matematika, tetapi juga menekankan pentingnya pelestarian warisan budaya Palembang melalui seni ukir yang unik. Abstract

Hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat bentuk kesalahan-kesalahan berbahasa pada berita-berita lokal penggunaan kata depan, kesalahan ejaan, dan kesalahan pada tataran fonologi,morfologi, serta sintaksis. Focus penelitian ini adalaha kesalahan berbahasa pada berita local edisi 2022. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif artinya data terurai dalam bentuk kata-kata, tidak mengutamakan angka dan digambarkan apa adanya. Dengan sumber yang didapat yaitu teks berita Lokal Lubuklinggau edisi 2022 Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan teknik simak dan teknik catat. Di dalam berita lokal lubuklinggau terdiri dari beberapa berita yang tentunya di dalam beberapa berita terdapat kesalahan berbahasa seperti penggunaan kata depan di- yang ditemukan pada berita Antarnews Kapolda minta maaf kepada keluarga tahanan tewas di Lubuk Linggau. Penghilangan kata, ejaan bahasa, dan pengulangan bunyi. Penghilangan fonem /e/ pada kata telpon dan kata tidak baku nelpon ditemukan pada berita Breakingnews. Kesalahan berbahasa afiksasi dalam berita Tribunnews.com. yang berjudul Jelang Usia 100 Tahun, Nenek di Lubuklinggau Tewas Tertabrak Truk, edisi 3 maret 2022. Pada kata “di tabrak”. Seharusnya di gabung tanpa adanya spasi “ditabrak,” karena di sebagai imbuhan bukan kata depan. Abstract

This study explores the differences in Subjective Well-Being (SWB) among early childhood education (ECE) teachers in Indonesia and Malaysia. A total of 200 teacher of ECE participated. Statistical tests indicated that the data from both groups significantly deviated from a normal distribution. As a result, the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test was applied to compare the SWB scores, revealing a significant difference between the two countries (p = 0.015). Teachers in Malaysia reported higher SWB, suggesting that cultural and educational policies may influence well-being. Regression analysis assessed the impact of work tenure and gender on SWB, but neither factor was found to be significant. Notably, years of service negatively affected SWB, indicating that longer tenure is associated with lower well-being in both countries. These results highlight the importance of considering contextual factors such as social support and work-life balance in addressing teacher well-being. This study addresses a significant research gap by providing cross-national evidence on subjective well-being (SWB) among early childhood education (ECE) teachers in Southeast Asia, this research offers novel insights into how national education systems and socio-cultural environments influence teacher well-being. By comparing Indonesia and Malaysia, the study highlights previously unexplored regional differences and underscores the need for context-sensitive policy interventions across diverse educational settings.
