Abstract

Background:Mathematics education is crucial for developing various skills in students, including logical, analytical, systematic, interpersonal, critical, and creative thinking. These skills are essential due to the role of mathematics in science and technology, as well as its significance in achieving educational goals.Aim:The study aimed to evaluate the impact of creative thinking abilities and interpersonal intelligence on students' cooperation skills.Method:This quantitative research employed multiple linear regression analysis techniques. It involved selecting subjects, developing and validating research instruments, disseminating these instruments, and then tabulating and analyzing the data.Result:The analysis yielded the equation Y=-5.588+0.694X_1+0.366X_2, indicating a relationship between the dependent variable (Y) and the independent variables (X_1, X_2). Creative thinking ability was found to have the most significant impact on cooperation skills, contributing 69.4%. The determination value (R²) was 0.555, suggesting that 55.5% of the variance in cooperation skills could be explained by variations in creative thinking ability and interpersonal intelligence.Conclusion:The study concluded that both creative thinking ability and interpersonal intelligence significantly influence students' cooperation skills. The ANOVA test further confirmed the effect of these independent variables on the dependent variable, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H₀) and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H₁).

Abstract

Abstract:  Critical thinking skills are one of the skills needed in learning, but in reality, Indonesian students' thinking skills are still quite low. Students' weak ability to develop their reasoning skills in solving problems in mathematics, especially HOTS questions, causes them to experience difficulties and make many mistakes when solving story-type questions. The purpose of this study is to describe the mistakes made by students in solving High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) type mathematics problems based on Watson's criteria. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research instrument used in this study is an essay test consisting of 4 essay questions. Data analysis in this study included (1) Inaccurate data; (2) Inaccurate procedures; (3) Missing data; (4) Missing conclusions; (5) Conflicting response levels; (6) Indirect manipulation; (7) Skill hierarchy issues; (8) Errors other than the seven above. The research results indicate that the type of error most frequently committed by students based on Watson's criteria falls under the category of missing conclusions (omitted conclusion/oc) with an error rate of 100%. The type of error least frequently committed by students falls under the category of other errors (above other/ao) at 11.76%.Abstrak: Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran, namun pada kenyataannyan kemampuan berpikir siswa Indonesia masih cukup rendah. Lemahnya kemampuan siswa dalam mengembangkan daya menalarnya pada penyelesaian masalah dalam pelajaran matematika terkhusus pada soal-soal HOTS menyebabkan siswa kesulitan serta banyak mengalami kesalahan saat menyelesaikan soal-soal bentuk cerita. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika bertipe High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) berdasarkan kriteria Watson. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes essay yang terdiri dari 4 soal essay. Analisis data dalam penelitian meliputi (1) Data tidak tepat; (2) Prosedur tidak tepat; (3) Data Hilang; (4)  Kesimpulan hilang; (5) Konflik level respon; (6) Manipulasi tidak langsung; (7) Masalah hirarki keterampilan; (8) Kesalahan selain ketujuh diatas. Hasil penelitian dapat bahwa jenis kesalahan yang sering dilakukan oleh siswa berdasarkan kriteria watson terletak pada kategori kesimpulan hilang (ommited conclusion/oc) dengan persentasi kesalahan sebesar 100%. Kemudian jenis kesalahan yang paling sedikit dilakukan oleh siswa pada kategori kesalahan lainnya (above other/ao) 11.76%.

Abstract

Multivariable nonlinear equation systems are commonly found in various disciplines such as engineering, physics, economics, and artificial intelligence. Analytical solutions are often difficult to obtain, necessitating the use of numerical approaches. This study aims to evaluate and compare the performance of the Levenberg-Marquardt and Trust-Region methods in solving multivariable nonlinear equation systems. Computational simulations were performed using MATLAB software with an error tolerance of 0.001 and a maximum iteration limit of 100. The test system involved a combination of trigonometric, exponential, and polynomial functions to ensure computational complexity. The study's results show that both methods are capable of achieving solutions with high accuracy. The Levenberg-Marquardt method demonstrated higher efficiency, achieving convergence in only 2 iterations with a final error of 1.866 10. In contrast, the Trust-Region method required 27 iterations but yielded a smaller error of 4.768 10. Three-dimensional visualization revealed that the solution was obtained from the intersection point of the three function surfaces. These findings confirm that the selection of numerical methods should consider the priority between iteration efficiency and solution accuracy. The contribution of this research lies in presenting a comparison of the performance of two popular algorithms with controlled simulation parameters, which can serve as a basis for the development of numerical methods in larger dimensional systems

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi siswa di SDN 2 Pelangan karena keterbatasan fasilitas perpustakaan dan kurangnya penataan koleksi buku. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa melalui Pendampingan Pengelolaan Perpustakaan Sekolah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan bersama SDN 2 Pelangan dengan melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa selama satu minggu melalui tahapan diskusi, penataan koleksi buku, pelabelan dan penataan ruang baca. Evaluasi dilanjutkan melalui observasi,wawancara, dan survei pada guru dan siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan, dan peningkatan minat baca siswa sebesar kurang lebih 35% berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara. Program ini juga meningkatkan keterlibatan guru (soft kill pengelolaan perpustakaan) sebesar kurang lebih 40% dalam mengelola koleksi buku dan memanfaatkan perpustakaan sebagai sarana pembelajaran. Kata kunci: pendampingan; pengelolaan perpustakaan; literasi siswa; minat baca. AbstractThis community service activity is motivated by the low literacy skills of students at SDN 2 Pelangan due to limited library facilities and inadequate book collection management. The aim of this service is to improve students' literacy skills through School Library Management Assistance. The activity was conducted in collaboration with SDN 2 Pelangan involving lecturers and students for one week through stages of discussion, book collection arrangement, labeling, and reading room organization. Evaluation continued through observations, interviews, and surveys of teachers and students. The results show a significant improvement in library management, and an increase in students' reading interest of approximately 35% based on the results of observations and interviews. This program also improved teachers' involvement (soft skills in library management) by about 40% in managing book collections and utilizing the library as a learning resource. Keyword: assistance; library management; student literacy; reading interest.

Abstract

Pengelolaan potensi Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) dan Pimpinan Cabang Muhammadiyah (PCM) Kuripan dalam mendukung program masih rendah. Tujuan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendalami potensi local BUMDes dan PCM Kuripan Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Metode digunakan adalah Metode digunakan adalah sosialisasi. Kegiatan  pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan diantaranya: 1) Persiapan tim pengabdian 2) pelaksanaan kegiatan, 3) evaluasi, berupa feed back terhadap kegiatan. Hasil dan pemabahasan adalah Pelatihan ini telah memberikan kontribusi cukup baik dalam meningkatkan kapasitas pengelola BUMDes dan PCM Kuripan. Dimna mampu memahami dalam mengelola potensi ekonomi desa melalui BUMDes dan PCM secara lebih efektif. Keberhasilan pelatihan ini tercermin dari peningkatan pemahaman peserta yang diperoleh. landasan bagi keberlanjutan program penguatan BUMDes dan PCM Kuripan dalam mendorong sinergi antara akademisi, pemerintah, masyarakat dan Mitra BEI dalam mendukung pembangunan ekonomi desa lebih mandiri dan berkelanjutan.
