Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial attitude, reference groups, and self-confidence on entrepreneurial intention among students of the Faculty of Economics at Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University. Employing a descriptive quantitative approach, the research involved 83 active students selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that, partially, entrepreneurial attitude and self-confidence have a positive and significant effect on students’ entrepreneurial intention. In contrast, reference groups show a positive but not significant effect, suggesting that social support does not necessarily play a decisive role in shaping entrepreneurial intention. However, when analyzed simultaneously, all three variables have a significant influence on entrepreneurial intention. These findings highlight the importance of fostering positive attitudes and self-confidence through entrepreneurial training, networking, and experiential learning. The study recommends integrating entrepreneurial content into the curriculum, extending internship periods, providing entrepreneurship briefing forums, and developing campus business incubators. Future research is encouraged to focus on more specific educational settings, such as religious-based universities, and consider replacing the reference group variable with other more relevant factors.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of Transformational Leadership on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among educational staff at the Indonesian Institute of Arts Yogyakarta by examining the mediating roles of Innovative Work Behavior (IWB) and Readiness to Change (RTC). This research employs a quantitative approach, using primary data collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) via SmartPLS 4. The results show that Transformational Leadership has a significant positive effect on OCB, as well as on IWB and RTC. Furthermore, both IWB and RTC act as significant mediators that strengthen the relationship between Transformational Leadership and OCB. These findings imply that educational institutions, especially in higher education, can enhance staff performance and extra-role behavior by fostering transformational leadership, innovation, and change readiness. The originality of this study lies in its integrative framework that introduces IWB and RTC as mediating variables, offering new insights into how leadership shapes organizational behavior through innovation and adaptability mechanisms.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of internship experience, job interest, and soft skills on students' job readiness. Students need to be well-prepared to face the challenges of the professional world. This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, focusing on students from the Management Study Program at Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University, class of 2021. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale to measure students' perceptions of internship experience, job interest, soft skills, and job readiness. The questionnaire was distributed to 72 students selected using purposive sampling, with the criteria of having completed an internship and being actively enrolled as students in the 2021 cohort of the Management Study Program. The total population in this study consists of 252 students. Various statistical analyses were conducted to analyze the data, including reliability and validity tests, t-tests, F-tests, and determination coefficient analysis. The results indicate that internship experience has a positive and significant impact on students' job readiness. The more work experience students have, the higher their readiness to enter the workforce. Additionally, job interest also has a positive and significant effect on job readiness, as a high level of motivation drives students to develop the necessary competencies. Soft skills likewise contribute significantly to job readiness, as these abilities help students adapt to changes in the workplace. Overall, this study concludes that internship experience, job interest, and soft skills simultaneously influence students' job readiness.

Abstract

This research aimed to explore the role of digital leadership in promoting innovative work behaviors through the mediation of intrinsic motivation and problem-solving creativity and to analyze differences in influence based on gender. A total of 117 lecturers and education staff at private universities were analyzed through AMOS SEM to test the direct, indirect, and moderation influences of gender. The results show that digital leadership does not have a direct effect on innovative work behavior through intrinsic motivation and problem-solving creativity. Digital leadership has a positive effect on intrinsic motivation, thereby strengthening internal motivation for optimal contribution. Gender analysis reveals that digital leadership has a significant impact on intrinsic motivation and problem-solving creativity, with a stronger effect on women, particularly in increasing their intrinsic motivation. However, the relationship between problem-solving creativity and innovative work behavior remained insignificant. The implications emphasize the importance of strengthening strategic digital leadership to enhance intrinsic motivation and creativity, considering gender-based responses to drive innovative work behaviors.
