Abstract

Discovery learning learning model is an effective model for advancing student motivation and learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to understand the effect of discovery learning model based on 3D scrapbook media on building material on student motivation and learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN Munungkerep II Kabuh. This type of research uses a quantitative approach, the research design that is used is the post-test only control design. The population in this study was fifth grade students of SDN Munungkerep Kabuh Jombang with saturated sampling techniques. The data analysis techniques that are used are validity test, normality test, and multivariate variant test (MANOVA). The results showed that (1) The application of discovery learning model based on 3D scrapbook media on space building material influenced the motivation of class students based on a significant value of 0.193 ≥ 0.05, (2) The application of discovery learning model based on 3D scrapbook media on space building material affect the learning outcomes of class students based on a significant value of 0.246 ≥ 0.05, and (3) The application of discovery learning models using 3D scrapbook media on building materials has an effect on motivation and student learning outcomes based on a significant value of 0.433 ≥ 0.05.

Abstract

Education and schools that are expected to be able to make students well-behaved and smart in actual learning only focus on developing the cognitive knowledge of their students without being able to overcome the moral development of their students, this is evidenced by the many reports about juvenile delinquency that occur in Indonesia. So from these problems character education began to be carried out according to the 2003 SISDIKNAS Law. Given the lack of character of the nation's children, the task and responsibility of teachers is to inculcate character values early on into various activities in schools. Good learning must be supported by several aspects, namely processional teachers, the existence of learning resources and learning media. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with the type of field research. This study aims to describe the process of implementing character education planting using achievement board media in class 3 thematic learning at SDN Cukir 1. The use of achievement board media as character education planting in thematic learning can be applied through the following steps: Explaining the meaning and purpose of character education, introduce 18 character values, look for examples of behavior that reflect each value and introduce achievement board media and how to play them. Achievement board media have a positive impact such as lightening the task of the teacher, students are more active in learning, the values of characters are more striking in students, more easily understood and applied in student life

Abstract

Education is used as a medium to improve skills, create character and build a dignified nation. In addition, the aim of education is to develop devotion to God Almighty and students so that they are able to become believers, healthy, noble, creative, responsive, knowledgeable, and make a society responsible and democratic so that they can humanize their fellow human beings. The flow of globalization has an impact on the existence of a human crisis of trust, characters, harmony, and morals. Humanism as proposed by KH. Abdurrahman Wahid, aimed to struggle the human values which are the benchmarks in humanism education. The aim of this research is to know the concept of humansim education according to KH. Abdurrahman Wahid who is associated in basic education. This type of research used was a library research. It is a research with data collection techniques conducted in the field (library). The data collection technique used was documentation, while the data analysis used was descriptive and hermeneutic methods. From the results, it can be concluded that humanism education based on KH Abdurrahman Wahid is the education of religious humanism, upholding human values on the basis of religion. There is an element to "humanize humans", developing all the skills that exist in humans intellectually and religiously without leaving the existing religious values. If it is related to basic education, it is very relevant because early planting of moral values, social ethics, tolerance, mutual respect, educating character to be humanist, fair in order to make a better life. So as to create students who have intellectual knowledge, humanism and religion and are useful for their nation and religion.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the storytelling learning model on students' speaking skill in sub-theme 3; Indonesian Language Competence for grade V at Al-Washoya Ngoro Islamic Elementary School, Jombang. This research used a quantitative research design with experimental research while using one group pre-test and post-test. The population in this study were all students of grade V of Al-Washoya Ngoro Islamic Elementary School which has 15 students. The sample used was the fifth grade students, totaling 15 students who will be experiment class and will be given a storytelling learning model. Based on the data result from pre-test and post-test, it was shown that the students' speaking skills by using storytelling learning model get the sig value of 0.000 <0.05. This result illustrated the effect of the storytelling learning model on students' speaking skills of grade V students at Al-Washoya Ngoro Islamic Elementary School, Jombang for academic year of 2019-2020.

Abstract

This“study aims to determine the effect of interactive video media on students learning motivation in social studies of fifth grade at SDN Kaliwungu 2 Jombang”which refers to the thematic book class V “theme 7 events in life, sub-theme 2 national events surrounding the proclamation of learning independence 1”. The problems in education were the learning implementation is less attractive. For that,“the teachers are required to be creative in improving the quality of learning such as using media in”learning. One of the interesting learning media is interactive video media. Research using interactive video media in social studies learning was carried out in the even semester of the 2020/2021 school year. The research used experimental research with pre-experimental method and one group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students at SDN Kaliwungu 2 Jombang which consisted of 20 students, 11 female students and 9 male students. The results of the study can be seen from the t test (paired t test) obtained t_count (4.0376) > t_table (2.0930). From these results it can be concluded that there is "The Influence of the Use of Interactive Video Media on Social Studies Learning Motivation for Class V SDN Kaliwungu 2".

Abstract

Education is the most important factor in determining one's future. With education, it can help humans to think about following developments in the modern era as it is today. It is the same as helping students think critically. As happened at SDN Kaliwungu 2 Jombang, teaching and learning activities that do not use media make students feel bored when studying and find it difficult to improve students' critical thinking. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interactive multimedia on students' critical thinking on the material of human interaction with the environment and its effect on social development in fifth grade elementary school. This type of research is a quantitative experiment through a one group pre test post test design. The population of the study were all students of class V SDN Kaliwungu 2 Jombang, which amounted to 20 students, according to the results of data analysis showing that the lowest pretest score was 32 and the highest score was 88 with an average of 61.20 while the lowest posttest score was 56 and the highest score was 92 with an average of 75.80, based on calculations showed an increase after learning to use interactive multimedia. These results indicate that there is an influence on the creativity of critical thinking in social studies learning in class V at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Berfikir kritis sangat diperlukan dalam pembelajaran karena dapat mengembangkan pengetahuan secara luas bagi siswa. Kemampuan berfikir kritis dapat di bentuk melalui kegiatan proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Kemampuan berfikir kritis juga merupakan dasar dalam suatu proses pembelajaran. Model ini bisa digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa. Model Role Playing bisa digunakan sebagai model pembelajaran yang nyaman dan menyenangkan tanpa menghilangkan esensi belajar yang berlangsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Pengaruh Model Role Playing Terhadap Kemampuan Berfikir Kritis Siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan desain “one group pre test post test”. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IV sebanyak 30 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa hasil “pre test” sebelum diberikan perlakuan nilai paling rendah yaitu 40 dan nilai tertinggi yaitu 80 dengan nilai ratarata 64,87 sedangkan untuk “post test” setelah diberikan perlakuan nilai paling rendah yaitu 72 dan nilai tertinggi yaitu 100 dengan nilai rata-rata 88,00. ”Jadi, terdapat peningkatan setelah belajar menggunakan model role playing. Dalam hasil tersebut menyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa kelas IV tingkat SD.

Abstract

Story books are media that attract children's attention because there children will be more interested in reading and understanding the story by using colorful pictures. This story book makes it easier for children to understand the contents of the story, especially books that discuss history if only described. Thematic books are very boring and unattractive and make children lazy to read them, so that there is a lack of understanding of the history of Indonesian heritage if children like to read interesting story books, children will easily understand about the history and create love for Indonesia, if the social studies material is class IV theme 5 sub-theme 1 is packaged with story book media, children will be happy to read it so that it fosters interest in reading so that students are interested in reading to the end. Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada motivasi intrinsik serta ekstrinsik guru mengajar pada kabupaten Melawi, menitikberatkan di penyebab intrinsik dan ekstrinsik ketekunan penelitian pengajar dalam mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan buat mengumpulkan berita mengenai motivasi intrinsik serta ekstrinsik pengajar buat melanjutkan mengajar pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sumberaji 2 Kecamatan Kabuh, Jombang menggunakan enam informan menjadi asal data primer. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi masalah. Wawancara, observasi, dan studi terdokumentasi dipergunakan menjadi taktik pengumpulan data. Reduksi data, penyajian data, pengungkit data, dan penarikan konklusi merupakan teknik analisis data yg dipergunakan pada penelitian ini. Temuan penelitian ini adalah unsur motivasi intrinsik pengajar buat tetap berada pada kelas, mirip rasa tanggung jawab terhadap pendidikan anak-anak pada pedesaan, guru memandang pekerjaannya menjadi profesi yang mulia, dan guru menerima pengakuan positif dari rakyat. Aspek insentif ekstrinsik mencakup kerjasama guru, kantor yang menyenangkan, dan penilaian dan supervisi kepala sekolah. Motivasi serta ketekunan pengajar dalam mengajar ialah 2 kata yang timbul di benak waktu memikirkan penelitian ini.
