Abstract

Fabrication of learning media is an effort in the process of designing and producing learning media comprehensively. The comprehensive level consists of the levels of important subjects taught in elementary schools which include Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Civics, and Indonesian. The aim of this activity is to help teachers in assisting in creating media so that they are skilled in designing and using it. This activity was carried out at SDN Tanjung, Kediri Regency with the target objects being the teachers at the school consisting of 16 people. The stages of this activity consist of partner situation analysis, literature review and material preparation, socialization, design and production, and use of media by teachers in the classroom. The results of this activity are that teachers feel very helped and happy with the fabrication of learning media as a form of improving teacher pedagogy in teaching students at school.

Abstract

Organizations are a real means for students to develop aspects of character development and critical thinking skills. At Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri there are various organizations that are able to provide insight for students in developing their competencies. The aim of this Community Service activity is to provide insight into the importance of organizing for new students in developing character and critical thinking skills. The Community Service Method is socialization which includes preparation, implementation, documentation and evaluation stages. The essence of implementing socialization activities is sharing knowledge and brainstorming. The participants in the Community Service activities are all new students from the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program for the 2022/2023 academic year. The positive results obtained from socialization activities have a positive impact on the importance of joining organizations for students as a form of implication in increasing scientific insight and networking, responsiveness in problem solving, improving communication and leadership skills, training entrepreneurial skills, administrative governance, forming a disciplined and responsible attitude. responsibility, independence, forming a high work ethic, and forming social attitudes.

Abstract

The Research about the effect of the power of two ter method on learning outcomes of Class IV social studies material. In order to understand the differences in the acquisition of social studies material learning. This is because at school there are many students who do not pay attention to social studies material explained by the teacher, in the process of students going in and out of class without any clear interests, busy playing mobile phones even though they are not allowed to carry cell phones at school, and in learning they do not use suitable methods so that students easily bored and unmotivated. Therefore making the main problem so the teacher must always innovate in presenting the material. Previous research with this research lies in the material. with the type of research implemented by researchers applying quantitative experimental methods. The research design applies the One Group Pre Test Posttest Design. The research subjects were fourth grade students at SDN Kaliwungu II consisting of 23 students. The instrument obtains data using question sheets and questionnaires. Data collection techniques to determine the acquisition of scores before and after using the power of two method using tests, and questionnaires were given to respondents, as well as documentation as support in research. In the learning outcomes before using the perspective cooperative model, the average acquisition was 67.41, many students obtained good grades. The influence of the power of two is quite large, equivalent to 0.000 <0.05, so the H1 hypothesis is not recognized, there is no significant effect on the implementation of the power of two class IV SDN Kaliwingu II.

Abstract

The family, particularly parents, plays a pivotal role in instilling life values in their children to achieve meaningful life goals. This study aims to explore parental parenting styles concerning non-academic achievements among students at SDN Balongbesuk Jombang. A qualitative case study approach was employed, utilizing data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Parents of non-academic achievers and the students themselves served as data sources. The findings reveal that parents employ a "Democratic" parenting style, which is perceived as warm and supportive for children. Parental efforts to support their children's achievements include granting them freedom of choice and involvement in extracurricular activities, providing motivation and support, and allocating time to support their participation in competitive events. The majority of non-academic achievers positively receive this parenting style. In conclusion, the "Democratic" parenting style is found to be effective in supporting non-academic student achievements.

Abstract

Background: The employment of traditional, non-interactive teaching methods frequently results in a lack of student involvement and interest in Social Studies (IPS) sessions at the primary school level. Due to the restricted use of group activities or discussions, students may lose interest in and grow bored with the course subject, which may hinder their ability to develop social skills. Thus, the objective of this paper is to investigate how the TPS cooperative model paradigm affects the social skills of IPS fourth-graders. A sample of 29 children from SDN Balongbesuk's fourth grade uses a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design for this study. The results show that adopting the TPS cooperative learning paradigm has a considerable positive influence on the development of students' social skills. Therefore, this study comes to the conclusion that the TPS model can be a useful substitute for enhancing student involvement and social skill development in IPS sessions. The results imply that instructors should think about using this instructional technique to encourage active student involvement and improve their social skills within the IPS learning setting.

Abstract

Formal education at elementary school level appears several Problems related to social studies learning. The problems which often happened during social studies is about the standard of process. The goal of this research is to find out the interest of learning on social studies in type of economic action and in Indonesia on fifth grade students of Jombang before and after using mind mapping learning model. Also to understand any difference of mind mapping model. This research use quantitative approach by using pre-Experiental design method with one group pre-test and post-test design. Data collecting in this research in multiple choices question pre-test, post test and documentation.Based on t-test calculations which already decided based on pre-test and post-test result with t-test paired sample test then obtained t-calculate acquired value 3,341 and t-table is 2,093 and significant value (2 tailed) is 0,000 < 0,05 So result of t-calculate > t-table which means H accepted and H rejected. So, it can assumed that there is the effect of learning interest of social studies on fifth grade of Jatipelem state elementary school I diwelk, Jombang by using mind mapping learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the elements of critical pedagogy and the presentation of critical pedagogy in argumentative text materials in Indonesian language textbook for grade XI high school. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The problem to be analyzed is the Indonesian language textbook for high school published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, using a critical pedagogy approach. The materials in the Indonesian language textbook for grade XI high school must apply critical perspective education or critical pedagogy, as a manifestation of the mandate of the Minister of Education and Culture. Argumentative text material is material that can be seen in its critical pedagogy elements. This study uses the Norman Fairclough critical discourse analysis research method, which is divided into three elements, namely text elements, discourse practice elements, and sociocultural practice elements. The results of this study indicate that the text analysis, vocabulary was found that characterizes critical pedagogy. In the analysis of discourse practice, the critical pedagogy that emerged was only an incomplete critical pedagogy. Then, for the analysis of sociocultural practice, the results of the PISA ranking and the pandemic that caused the economic recession, were the causes of critical pedagogy not emerging completely.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek, diharapkan kreativitas dan motivasi siswa dapat meningkat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan model PjBL serta mengetahui pengaruh penerapannya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Pre-Eksperimental dan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, yang mana penelitian ini dilakukan hanya pada satu kelompok tanpa adanya kelompok pembanding. Responden penelitian ini adalah 19 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Bendungan Kudu Jombang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket pre-test dan post-test yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya untuk mengukur motivasi belajar siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket motivasi belajar yang kemudian diubah menjadi skor, selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik. Uji data dilakukan menggunakan uji paired t-test untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata antara angket pre-test dengan rata-rata 61,84 dan angket post-test dengan rata-rata 75,79. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (<0,05), yang berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS materi kekayaan budaya Indonesia. Kata Kunci : Model Project Based Learning (PjBL), Motivasi Belajar   ABSTRACT: Through project-based learning, it is expected that students' creativity and motivation can increase. The purpose of this study was to describe the PjBL model and to determine the effect of its implementation on students' learning motivation. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental design and One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, in which this study was conducted on only one group without a comparison group. The respondents of this study were 19 fourth-grade students of SD Negeri Bendungan Kudu Jombang. The instruments used were pre-test and post-test questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability to measure students' learning motivation. The data collection technique used was a learning motivation questionnaire which was then converted into a score, then the data was analyzed using statistical analysis. Data testing was carried out using a paired t-test to test the research hypothesis. The results showed a difference in the average between the pre-test questionnaire with an average of 61.84 and the post-test questionnaire with an average of 75.79. The results of the hypothesis test show a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 (<0.05), which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can increase student learning motivation in the subject of science, material on the richness of Indonesian culture. Abstract

ABSTRAK Model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dipilih karena model ini menekankan pemecahan masalah nyata, yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman, keterlibatan siswa, serta mendorong mereka untuk berpikir kritis dan mandiri dalam menyelesaikan tugas akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi norma dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas V SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 20 siswa kelas V, yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes (pre-test dan post-test), observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa kelas V. Rata-rata nilai pre-test adalah 66,40, meningkat menjadi 85,20 pada post-test. Hasil uji-t berpasangan menunjukkan nilai sig. = 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Disarankan bagi guru untuk menerapkan model ini guna menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik, kontekstual, serta meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' learning outcomes in the norms material in the Pancasila Education subject for fifth-grade students at SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang. This study employed a Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample consisted of 20 fifth-grade students, selected using the saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through tests (pre-test and post-test), observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using a normality test and a hypothesis test with the Paired Sample t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes. The average pre-test score was 66.40, which increased to 85.20 in the post-test. The paired t-test results showed a sig. value = 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the Problem Based Learning model had a significant effect on students' learning outcomes. In conclusion, the Problem Based Learning model is proven to be effective in improving students' learning outcomes and can serve as an alternative approach in Pancasila Education. Teachers are encouraged to implement this model to create a more engaging and contextual learning experience while enhancing students' conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills. Abstract

Model Course Review Horay merupakan metode pembelajaran kooperatif yang menciptakan suasana belajar menyenangkan dengan siswa dikelompokkan dan menjawab pertanyaan secara aktif. Jawaban benar disambut dengan teriakan "horey" atau yel-yel lain yang disepakati, sehingga meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Metode ini tidak hanya membuat suasana kelas lebih hidup, tetapi juga mendorong siswa untuk lebih percaya diri dalam mengemukakan jawaban. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Course Review Horay terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas IV di SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pretest dan posttest berupa soal pilihan ganda yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya menggunakan SPSS versi 25.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 57,60 dan posttest meningkat menjadi 80,40. Uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05), yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari model Course Review Horay terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Model ini efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan, serta direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif dalam proses belajar mengajar di sekolah dasar. Dengan penerapan model ini, siswa tidak hanya memahami materi dengan lebih baik, tetapi juga termotivasi untuk lebih aktif dalam proses belajar.   The Course Review Horay model is a cooperative learning method that creates an enjoyable learning atmosphere by grouping students and encouraging them to actively answer questions. Correct answers are greeted with cheers of "horey" or other agreed-upon chants, thus increasing student engagement. This method not only livens up the classroom environment but also boosts students' confidence in expressing their answers.This study aims to determine the effect of the Course Review Horay learning model on student learning outcomes in the IPAS subject for fourth-grade students at SDN Bendungan. This research employs a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The subjects of this study are fourth-grade students at SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang. Data were collected through pretest and posttest multiple-choice questions, which were tested for validity and reliability using SPSS version 25.0. The results showed that the average pretest score was 57.60, while the posttest score increased to 80.40. The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant effect of the Course Review Horay model on student learning outcomes. This model effectively improves student learning outcomes, creates a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment, and is recommended as an alternative teaching method in elementary schools. By applying this model, students not only better understand the material but also become more motivated and active in the learning process.
