Abstract

This study aims to implicitly analyze the use of interactive multimedia to improve critical thinking skills of elementary school students in Social Studies to face the era of society 5.0. This study uses a qualitative research method with a literature study research design. The steps taken by the researcher were initiated by formulating the research problem, then continued by tracing the relevant research results for analysis. Data was collected by searching electronic journals and studying documentation in the library. Based on the search results obtained research data from five electronic journals. Data analysis was carried out by summarizing, reviewing, and analyzing research data from several empirical research results. Based on the results of the analysis, it turns out that the use of interactive multimedia can improve learning outcomes with the results obtained by 23.33% and 38.1%, respectively. Interactive multimedia can also improve learning outcomes in Social Studies material with a yield of 7.8%. Interactive multimedia can also encourage students to think critically with 6% of the results. So that the critical thinking process will make it easier for students to realistically understand the Social Studies material for elementary school students with a result of 10.25%.

Abstract

Pada sebuah proses kehidupan, seseorang tidak akan lepas dengan yang namanya belajar. Ketika proses pembelajaran terjadi, maka akan ada pengalaman belajar yang didapat. Proses ini akan efektif jika dilakukan dengan yang menyenangkan. Agar pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan, guru dapat menggunakan ice breaking. Hal ini dilakukan guna suasana belajar lebih menyenangkan dan siswa tidak mudah bosan dan tertarik untuk mengikuti kegiatan belajar mengajar. Workshop pelatihan ice breaking ini diadakan oleh tim dosen PGSD Unhasy berkolaborasi dengan tim AMSP kelompok 13 Unhasy yang bertempat di SDN Jombatan 3 Jombang. Kegiatan ini dikemas dalam kegiatan PKM (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat), dan yang menjadi sasaran atau peserta adalah para guru di SDN Jombatan 3 Jombang. Proses kegiatan ini dimulai dengan kegiatan pra acara, kegiatan pemaparan materi, kegiatan praktik ice breaking, dan tugas mandiri. Melalui kegiatan workshop pelatihan ini, diharapkan pembelajaran di kelas menjadi lebih hangat dan menyenangkan, sehingga menambah semangat siswa untuk antusias kembali dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas.

Abstract

Learning activities have changed during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Face-to-face learning has been replaced by online learning. There were several unfavorable impacts that occurred, one of which was the inability to implement good habits that were regularly carried out during the pre-pandemic. Based on that, the purpose of this community service is to help rehabilitate good habits in the Johowinong 2 Elementary School environment during the post-pandemic period. The method was used in the service includes three stages. The initial stage is observation and determination of activities. The implementation stage is to coordinate and synergize good habits. The evaluation stage finds out the obstacles that exist in community service activities related to the synergy of students’ social habituation. With this community service, the partners gave a positive response. The students were enthusiastic in doing social activities together, such as studying together in the library, walking around, and national ceremony. With the synergy between the community service team and school institution, it is expected to be able to get used to positive social habituation in the school environment.

Abstract

Semua negara, baik negara maju maupun negara yang sedang berkembang selalu melaksanakan pembangunan ekonomi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat sehingga setara dengan tingkat kehidupan yang dicapai oleh masyarakat di negara maju. Salah satu permasalahan yang terjadi ialah ketidakinginan menjadi seorang pengusaha mandiri yang disebabkan oleh pola pikir yang tidak tertanam. Sehingga diperlukan suatu kegiatan yang dapat membentuk jiwa pengusaha dalam diri seseorang. Kegiatan yang diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan jiwa pengusaha yaitu melalui pelatihan dan praktek market day. Pelatihan market day diadakan oleh tim dosen PGSD UNHASY berkolaborasi dengan tim AMSP UNHASY yang bertempat di SDN Diwek 1 Jombang. Kegiatan ini dikemas dalam kegiatan PKM (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat), dan yang menjadi sasaran atau peserta adalah peserta didik di SDN Diwek 1 Jombang. Proses kegiatan ini dimulai dengan pemberian materi dasar tentang pentingnya menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahan serta dasar-dasar dalam berwirausaha dan motivasi mengenai tokoh-tokoh wirausaha muda yang sukses. Di samping melakukan pelatihan tentang pentingnya penanaman nilai-nilai kewirausahaan sejak dini, diimbangi juga dengan kegiatan yang bersifat aplikatif atau praktik, yaitu penerapan kegiatan market day. Hasil pengabdian ini para peserta didik terlihat mampu berbahasa dengan cukup baik ketika menawarkan produk kepada pembeli. Hal tersebut diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan jiwa berwirausaha dalam diri peserta didik yang mempunyai ide-ide kreatif di masa depan.

Abstract

Organizations are a real means for students to develop aspects of character development and critical thinking skills. At Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri there are various organizations that are able to provide insight for students in developing their competencies. The aim of this Community Service activity is to provide insight into the importance of organizing for new students in developing character and critical thinking skills. The Community Service Method is socialization which includes preparation, implementation, documentation and evaluation stages. The essence of implementing socialization activities is sharing knowledge and brainstorming. The participants in the Community Service activities are all new students from the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program for the 2022/2023 academic year. The positive results obtained from socialization activities have a positive impact on the importance of joining organizations for students as a form of implication in increasing scientific insight and networking, responsiveness in problem solving, improving communication and leadership skills, training entrepreneurial skills, administrative governance, forming a disciplined and responsible attitude. responsibility, independence, forming a high work ethic, and forming social attitudes.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam proses belajar, alat peraga menjadi bagian vital dalam meningkatkan semangat dan hasil belajar siswa. Untuk itu, tujuan dari penelitiannya ini guna diketahuinya dampak dari media smart box yang digunakan kepada hasil pembelajaran siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar pada mata pelajaran yang dilaksanakan di SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif melalui jenis studi pre-exsperimental dengan bentuk One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sample yang diambil untuk ini ialah satu kelas dengan total siswanya yaitu 21 orang, yang datanya ini dikumpulkan melalui soal test secara tertulis dengan pilihan berganda dan menjodohkan. Kesimpulan yang ditarik dari hasilnya ialah (1) kemampuan memahami materi tentang Aku Berperilaku Pancasila pada siswa kelas II SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang sebelum menggunakan media smart box memperoleh nilai rata-rata yaitu 58.48. (2) Sedangkan sesudah menggunakan media smart box memperoleh nilai rata-rata yaitu 84.57. (3) Pengaruh pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila materi Aku Berperilaku Pancasila pada siswa kelas II sdn Bendungan Kudu Jombang memperlihatkan hasilnya dengan adanya keberpengaruhan secara signifikan yaitu 0,000. Hasil nilai Signifikansinya (2-Tailed) 0,000 di bawah 0,05 artinya terjadi penolakan pada H₀ serta penerimaan pada H1 yang dalam hal ini berarti terdapatnya keberpengaruhan dalam digunakannya media smart box kepada hasil pembelajaran siswa kelas II SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang pada mata pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila materi aku berperilaku pancasila secara signifikan. Kata Kunci: Smart Box, Hasil Belajar.   ABSTRACT In the learning process, teaching aids are a vital part in increasing students' enthusiasm and learning outcomes. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to determine the impact of the smart box media used on the learning outcomes of second-grade elementary school students in the subjects implemented at SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang. This research uses quantitative research through a pre-experimental study type with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample taken for this is one class with a total of 21 students, whose data is collected through written test questions with multiple choices and matching. The conclusions drawn from the results are (1) the ability to understand the material about I Behave Pancasila in second-grade students of SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang before using the smart box media obtained an average score of 58.48. (2) While after using the smart box media obtained an average score of 84.57. (3) The effect of learning Pancasila Education on the material I Behave Pancasila on class II students of SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang shows the results with a significant influence of 0.000. The results of the significance value (2-Tailed) 0.000 below 0.05 mean that there is a rejection of H₀ and acceptance of H1 which in this case means that there is an influence in the use of smart box media on the learning outcomes of class II students of SDN Bendungan Kudu Jombang on the subject of Pancasila education on the material I behave Pancasila significantly.   Keywords: Smart Box, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari Tebuireng Jombang merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi ternama yang berada di wilayah Pesantren Tebuireng Jombang, Jawa Timur. Penelitian atau riset menjadi salah satu tugas akhir bagi mahasiswa di Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari Tebuireng Jombang. Dalam tugas akhir yaitu riset para mahasiswa tentu perlu dikenalkan dengan pendekatan penelitian berbasis kependidikan dengan harapan agar mahasiswa mampu membedakan empat pendekatan penelitian utama kependidikan yaitu studi kuantitatif, kualitatif, tindakan kelas, dan pengembangan. Salah satu Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) di Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari Jombang yang mampu memfasilitasi pengenalan pendekatan penelitian kependidikan adalah UKM KRPM (Komunitas Riset Penelitian Mahasiswa). UKM KRPM telah menghadirkan pakar penelitian kependidikan dengan dosen ahli metodologi penelitian pendidikan di acara sosialisasi pelatihan. Acara tersebut tentu sangat relevan dengan kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dosen dengan tujuan agar mahasiswa memahami ragam pendekatan penelitian kependidikan. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang digunakan adalah curah pendapat dengan sasaran yaitu mahasiswa Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari Jombang yang tergabung dalam acara yang diadakan oleh UKM KRPM. Proses kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat meliputi tahapan penyampaian materi, tanya jawab, dan evaluasi. Implikasi kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini tergolong berdampak bagi mahasiswa dalam mengenalkan penelitian atau riset yang sesungguhnya yang disertai dengan cara penyusunan karya ilmiah, teknik olah data, dan publikasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the elements of critical pedagogy and the presentation of critical pedagogy in argumentative text materials in Indonesian language textbook for grade XI high school. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The problem to be analyzed is the Indonesian language textbook for high school published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, using a critical pedagogy approach. The materials in the Indonesian language textbook for grade XI high school must apply critical perspective education or critical pedagogy, as a manifestation of the mandate of the Minister of Education and Culture. Argumentative text material is material that can be seen in its critical pedagogy elements. This study uses the Norman Fairclough critical discourse analysis research method, which is divided into three elements, namely text elements, discourse practice elements, and sociocultural practice elements. The results of this study indicate that the text analysis, vocabulary was found that characterizes critical pedagogy. In the analysis of discourse practice, the critical pedagogy that emerged was only an incomplete critical pedagogy. Then, for the analysis of sociocultural practice, the results of the PISA ranking and the pandemic that caused the economic recession, were the causes of critical pedagogy not emerging completely.

Abstract

The phenomenon of flexing or showing off one's wealth and lifestyle on social media is increasingly widespread among Indonesian teenagers. This is driven by the desire to gain social recognition and higher social status. This behavior is not only limited to the upper class, but includes all social strata who are trying to meet the demands of an up-to-date lifestyle. This research aims to examine the prevalence of flexing which is characterized by flashy displays and flaunting practices on social media by referring to related literature. The method used in this paper is a rapid literature study using the PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) approach to search and select relevant studies systematically, ensuring a focused and comprehensive review. From an Islamic perspective, flexing is considered israf (excessive behavior) and is prohibited, as it encourages materialism and shifts the focus from spiritual values ​​to worldly values. From Hindu ethics, especially the teachings of Sapta Timira, which views flexing as a form of darkness that causes individuals to forget their identity and origins, giving rise to negative social impacts. Additionally, flexing impacts people's mental health and trust, as it fosters an environment full of envy and competition. The influence of social media on flexing is enormous, with platforms such as Instagram and Facebook becoming arenas for flaunting luxury, which can lead to criminal activity, such as fraud and money laundering, as seen in the cases of binary options.
