Abstract

Introduction: Indonesia's property and real estate sector is showing a post-pandemic recovery trend, although it is still characterized by a slowdown due to market dynamics and substantial capital requirements. This study analyzes the effect of profitability, liquidity, and leverage on the dividend policy of property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period. Methods: The study employed a quantitative approach using secondary data in the form of company financial statements. This research used a sample of 12 property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019-2023, with sample selection based on criteria (purposive sampling). The analytical technique chosen to examine this research was multiple linear regression and t-test utilizing IBM SPSS Statistics software. Results: The research findings show that profitability (ROA), liquidity (CR), and leverage (DER) have a significant negative effect on dividend policy (DPR). From this research, results were obtained showing that companies with high levels of profitability, liquidity, and leverage retain earnings for company operations such as project investments or debt obligation payments rather than distributing them as dividends. Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to explore the effect of financial literacy and social media exposure on cryptocurrency investment decisions among Generation Z in Indonesia, with confidence serving as a mediating variable. Methods: This research applies a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Data were collected via online questionnaires from 121 Generation Z respondents in Indonesia who have experience or interest in cryptocurrency investments, selected using purposive sampling. The data were then analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS software. Results: The statistical results indicate that both financial literacy and social media exposure have a positive and significant direct effect on cryptocurrency investment decisions. Furthermore, both independent variables significantly influence the formation of investors' confidence. In terms of mediation, confidence is proven to have a positive and significant effect on investment decisions and acts as a significant partial mediator in bridging financial literacy and social media exposure toward cryptocurrency investment decisions. Conclusion and suggestion: These findings suggest that investment choices in digital assets are shaped by an interaction of cognitive capacity, digital information environments, and psychological mechanisms as outlined in Behavioral Finance Theory. Future research is suggested to expand the respondent scope and incorporate other behavioral biases such as herding behavior or fear of missing out (FOMO). Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy, financial self-efficacy, and social influence on investment intention among Generation Z students in Semarang. This research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 102 active university students in Semarang using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results show that financial literacy does not have a significant effect on students’ investment intention. In contrast, financial self-efficacy and social influence have a positive and significant effect on investment intention. The R-square value of 0.547 indicates that the independent variables explain 54.7% of the variation in investment intention. These findings suggest that psychological and social factors play a more dominant role in influencing investment intention compared to financial knowledge. This study is expected to contribute to financial education development, particularly in enhancing investment intention among young generations.

Abstract

Digital marketing strategies now play a major role in influencing consumer purchasing behavior. This study examines the extent to which online customer reviews and influencer support affect purchase intention among MS Glow customers who shop through TikTok Shop, using customer trust as a connecting construct. A survey instrument is used in the quantitative research design. Probability sampling was used to select 120 respondents, all of whom had to have bought MS Glow products on TikTok Shop and read product reviews on the same site. The data was processed using SmartPLS version 4.0 and partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that influencer support and online customer reviews both favorably and significantly contribute to the development of consumer trust, while customer trust itself positively and significantly increases purchase intention. According to mediation testing, customer trust serves as a partial mediator in the relationship between online customer reviews and purchase intention, but it does not function as a connecting channel between influencer support and purchase intention. These findings underscore the importance of influencer endorsement, online customer reviews, and customer trust in enhancing purchase intention among us consumers of MS Glow products on TikTok Shop.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors influencing firm value in the consumer non-cyclicals sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2024 period. Using a quantitative approach, the analysis is conducted on 100 observations obtained from 25 selected companies. Firm value is assessed using Tobin’s Q, while the independent variables consist of profitability measured by Return on Assets (ROA), leverage proxied by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and firm size calculated as the natural logarithm of total assets. The empirical results indicate that profitability and leverage individually exert a positive and significant effect on firm value, whereas firm size does not show a significant influence. Nevertheless, simultaneous testing validates that these three predictors collectively have a significant impact. These findings highlight that internal financial metrics, specifically profit efficiency and debt strategy, are crucial drivers of firm valuation. This research aims to provide investors with a comprehensive overview to evaluate a company's profitability and leverage prior to making investment decisions.
