Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Financial Literacy and Fintech utilization on Green Investment Intention, as well as to examine the role of Risk Tolerance as a moderating variable among the general public in Indonesia. The study uses a quantitative approach with an online survey of 150 respondents aged at least 18 years who have access to digital financial services and an interest in sustainable investment, using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results show that Financial Literacy and the use of Fintech have a positive effect on Green Investment Intention, while Risk Tolerance has a direct effect and strengthens the relationship between Financial Literacy and Fintech with Green Investment Intention. The research model was able to explain 70.2% of the variation in Green Investment Intention, confirming the importance of cognitive, technological, and psychological factors in encouraging sustainable investment. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of financial literacy, Fintech, and Risk Tolerance as moderating variables in the sustainable financial behavior model among the general public in Indonesia. These findings contribute to the development of sustainable finance literature and provide practical implications for governments, financial institutions, and Fintech providers in designing financial education policies and digital services that support the transition to a green economy.

Abstract

Mangunharjo Subdistrict, Tugu District, Semarang City, has significant potential for the development of pond-based fisheries enterprises, particularly milkfish cultivation. However, fishpond farmers face a major challenge in the form of high commercial feed costs, which constitute the largest component of production expenses and result in low business efficiency. To address this issue, more economical and easily applicable alternative feed sources are required. This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of fishpond farmers through training programs focusing on maggot cultivation as an alternative feed and improving their understanding of production cost analysis. The implementation methods include field observations, training sessions, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and direct assistance to fishpond farmer groups. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills in producing and utilizing maggots as a substitute for commercial feed, as well as their ability to manage and reduce production costs more efficiently. Furthermore, the activity encourages positive changes in farmers’ mindset and behavior toward more independent and sustainable business management. This program is expected to serve as an initial step in strengthening start-up maggot cultivation enterprises as a solution for reducing production costs and improving the welfare of fishpond farmers

Abstract

This study explores the mediating role of impulsive buying on the influence of price perception, Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO), and financial literacy on the financial management of Gen Z TikTok Shop Users at Dian Nuswantoro University. With the results of a descriptive quantitative approach of 122 respondents, using non-probability sampling techniques specifically purposive sampling and snowball sampling, it was found that price perception and FOMO were proven to have a significant positive effect and thus play a strong role in increasing impulsive behavior. Conversely, financial literacy had a significant negative effect, low financial literacy encouraged unplanned spending to increase. Impulsive buying was proven to mediate the relationship between the influence of price perception, Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO), and financial literacy on individual financial management. The results of the study support the need for the reach of objects and variables related to the financial management of the younger generation on various digital platforms.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of fundamental factors (ROA, DER, CR, PBV, EPS) and macroeconomic factors (exchange rates, interest rates) on stock prices of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2020–2024, with inflation as a moderating variable. Using a quantitative approach and secondary data from financial statements and macroeconomic sources, the sample comprises 20 companies (100 observations). Results show that EPS and PBV have a positive and significant effect on stock prices, while ROA, DER, CR, exchange rates, and interest rates are not significant. Inflation moderates the relationship between ROA and PBV with stock prices, but not for other variables. The findings indicate that profitability and market valuation are the main factors considered by investors, while inflation plays a selective role.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how Indian music fans in Semarang manage their personal finances, taking into account their knowledge, self-control, and perspectives on finance.. This research was conducted using a quantitative method through an online survey of 160 respondents who met the criteria. Measurement models and structural models were tested to analyze the data using SmartPLS. The results of the study indicate that the three independent variables have a positive and significant influence on how individuals manage their finances. The highest f2 value (0.241) and the highest T-statistic value (5.862) indicate that financial attitude is the dominant factor among the three variables. Approximately 56.6% of the differences in financial management behavior can be attributed to the research model, while the remaining variables outside the model influence it. The results show that young people who frequently attend concerts and entertainment activities have more conscious financial behavior, especially those with good financial knowledge, self-control, and a positive attitude toward finance. This study recommends community-based financial education to help music fans manage their expenses better.

Abstract

Background: Employing brand image as an intermediary variable, this research seeks to assess the influence exerted by digital promotion and electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM) on purchase decisions at ZAP Clinic Semarang. Objectives: The present research analyzes both the unmediated impacts of digital promotion and electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM) on brand image and purchase decisions at ZAP Clinic Semarang, as well as the extent to which brand image serves as an intermediary in the linkage between those marketing tactics and subsequent consumer purchasing behavior. Methodology: The research employed a quantitative framework based on a survey technique. Purposive sampling yielded 100 respondents meeting the following inclusion criteria: previous use of ZAP Clinic Semarang’s services, receipt of digital promotional stimuli, interaction with online consumer reviews, age of at least 17 years, and domicile within Semarang City. Analytical procedures were carried out using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) as executed in SmartPLS 4.0. Findings: Although digital promotion exhibits no statistically significant direct effect on purchase decisions, electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) demonstrates a positive and statistically significant impact on both brand image and consumer purchasing behavior. Furthermore, the findings confirm that brand image serves as a significant mediating mechanism in the relationship between digital marketing strategies, particularly e-WOM, and purchase decisions. Conclusions: Purchase decisions for aesthetic clinic services are more driven by consumer experience and online recommendations through e-WOM, as well as positive perceptions of brand image, compared to digital promotion alone. Digital promotion may be ineffective unless it first enhances brand image.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed consumption patterns among Generation Z, particularly within online gaming ecosystems such as Roblox. The platform encourages repeated virtual spending through its in-game currency system, making it relevant to examine how psychological and technological factors shape users' financial behavior. This study investigates the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), Financial Literacy, and Financial Technology (FinTech) on the financial behavior of Generation Z Roblox players in Indonesia. A quantitative research design was employed, with data gathered from 219 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The analytical method used was Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) via SmartPLS 4 software. The findings indicate that Financial Literacy and FinTech adoption positively and significantly affect financial behavior, while FOMO shows a negative but statistically insignificant effect. The income variable (Benefit) used as a control also did not significantly influence financial behavior. The model achieved an R-square value of 0.632, suggesting that the independent variables collectively explain 63.2% of the variance in financial behavior. These results highlight the importance of financial education programs and the strategic use of digital payment tools in fostering responsible financial habits among young gamers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of celebrity endorsement, self-control, and economic literacy on impulsive buying behavior among Generation Z university students on digital platforms. The novelty of this research lies in the combination of these three variables tested simultaneously, as previous studies have generally focused on only one or two variables separately. The population of this study includes all active students of Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with the criteria that respondents are early-semester students (semester 1 and 3), actively use social media and e-commerce platforms, and have experience in making online purchases. The total sample size in this study is 157 respondents. Data were collected through a questionnaire based on a Likert scale and analyzed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach to examine the relationships between variables. The results show that all three variables—celebrity endorsement, self-control, and economic literacy—have a significant effect on impulsive buying behavior. Among them, celebrity endorsement has the strongest influence in driving spontaneous purchasing decisions. This study highlights that both social influence and individuals’ ability to control themselves, along with their understanding of economic concepts, play a crucial role in shaping students’ consumption behavior in the digital era.
