Abstract

The mosque is the oldest Islamic educational institution that has existed since the time of the Prophet Muhammad. Its existence needs to be maintained and maintained until now. Judging from its history, Muslims have used mosques for places of worship, educational institutions and Islamic knowledge. Moral education cannot be separated from the scope of Islamic education. Because, moral education aims to achieve perfect morals is the culmination of the purpose of implementing Islamic education itself. In other words, a Muslim cannot be said to be perfect in his religion if the morals in his life do not reflect good morals. This study aims to determine the role of mosques in moral education for the Tegalombo community. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a content analysis approach of library research plus field research with observation, interviews and documentation research instruments. The results obtained from the study that the Baitus Somad mosque located in Tegalombo plays a very important role in moral formation for the Tegalombo community in particular and visitors in general because the role of honest coffee is used as a medium to habituate the community to be honest and learn anti-corruption, secondly, the role of Gazibu is able to diverting the negative behavior of teenagers, the three Sunday night huts can provide religious knowledge for teenagers.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental menjadi sebuah urgensi dalam tiap individu khususnya remaja muslim, tak jarang beberapa perbuatan remaja dianggap sebagai sebuah kenakalan. Padahal mereka hanya belum mampu berpikir dan bertindak layaknya orang dewasa. Menurut Zakiah Daradjat penyebab timbulnya kenakalan remaja berawal dari terganggunya kejiwaan para remaja yang umumnya masih rentan terbawa arus. Perubahan zaman dan perkembangan teknologi yang pesat, mengakibatkan perubahan tuntutan sosial yang mempengaruhi kesehatan mental remaja. Maka, remaja perlu dibimbing dan diarahkan agar tidak terjerumus dalam hal yang menysatkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan gambaran pemikiran Prof. Dr. Zakiah Daradjat tentang kesehatan mental untuk mewujudkan remaja yang lebih baik melalui pendidikan keimananan. Artikel ini adalah jenis penelitian kepustakaan, yaitu dengan mengumpulkan informasi dan data dari berbagai macam sumber ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan fokus masalah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan simpulan bahwa: kesehatan mental dapat terwujud apabila terdapat keserasian yang sungguh-sungguh antara fungsi kejiwaan dan terciptanya penyesuaian diri antara manusia dengan dirinya sendiri dan lingkungannya. Remaja pasti mengalami berbagai problematika yang berujung pada terganggunya kondisi kesehatan mental, hal tersebut dapat diatasi penerapan pendidikan islami yang berlandaskan keimanan kepada remaja muslim dengan cara penanaman akidah, penguatan tata cara ibadah, serta pembentukan karakter religus dan bermoral.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an merupakan pedoman hidup manusia yang harus dipelajari dan difahami oleh seluruh umat muslim di muka bumi. Mereka yang bisa menghafalkan Al-Qur’an  akan mendapatkan kemuliaan didunia maupun di akhirat. Usia sekolah dasar merupakan waktu yang tepat untuk mengajarkan peserta didik menghafalkan Al-Qur’an  mulai dari surat-surah pendek. SD IIC merupakan sekolah Islam yang terletak di Kabupaten Pacitan yang menerapkan  metode muroja’ah untuk membantu peserta didik menghafalkan surah surah pendek dalam Al-Qur’an. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif . Pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode muraja’ah membantu peserta didik mencapai target hafalan yang telah diprogramkan oleh sekolah, membantu peserta didik menghafalkan Al-Qur’an dengan baik, dan benar sesuai makhraj dan tajwidnya. Setelah diterapkannya metode muroja’ah hafalan peserta didik menjadi lancar fashih, tartil dan mampu menambah hafalan surah pendek dengan cepat.

Abstract

In this research article, the approach used is a historical approach, which examines various aspects related to history, such as place, time, background, and historical figures. Additionally, this study explores the phenomena that occurred in the past. To strengthen the existing historical theory, an economic approach is also applied in the analysis. The data analysis technique used is descriptive-analytic, where the issues are presented through in-depth analysis, providing an explanation of the role of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa in the development of the Sultanate of Banten during the period of 1651–1682 CE. The research findings show that the economic condition during Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa's reign was stable and prosperous. The economic policies implemented by Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa made significant contributions to the stability of the economy and the advancement of development in the Sultanate of Banten. These beneficial policies had a positive impact on the development of infrastructure and the economy in the region.

Abstract

Mathematical ability is a crucial aspect of education as it contributes to developing students' logical, critical, and analytical thinking skills. However, mathematics learning is often perceived as difficult and monotonous by students, especially in measurement topics. This perception negatively impacts students' academic performance. This study aims to improve the mathematics achievement of fourth-grade students at MI Muhammadiyah Wonoanti 1 through the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method. PBL was chosen because it provides more contextual and challenging learning experiences, encouraging students to think independently in solving problems. This study employed a classroom action research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' academic performance, demonstrated by an increase in the class average score and active student participation during the learning process. Many changes and improvements were observed in the students. The students' average learning scores increased from 42.86% to 57.14% in the first cycle and rose further to 85.71% in the second cycle. Additionally, the learning environment became more interactive and enjoyable. Thus, the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning method proved effective in enhancing mathematics learning outcomes, particularly in measurement topics.

Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem in formal and non-formal educational settings, often normalized despite its negative impacts on victims, such as mental, physical, and psychological distress. This study aims to reduce bullying behavior at Madin Baitul Ilmi Tegalombo by implementing tolerance values to foster mutual respect, dignity, and solidarity. The research employs a qualitative approach with four stages: initial observation, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation. Initial observations revealed that 95% of students engaged in verbal, physical, and social bullying, triggered by factors such as social media influence, family background, and environmental exposure. Interventions were implemented through three strategies: (1) teacher role modeling (uswah hasanah), (2) creating an inclusive classroom environment, and (3) providing positive reinforcement. Post-intervention evaluation showed a significant decline in bullying behavior to 30%, with detailed reductions: mocking (10%), belittling (7%), name-calling (3%), pushing (5%), and hitting (5%). The study concludes that integrating tolerance values rooted in Islamic principles effectively reduces bullying while shaping students’ empathetic, inclusive character and constructive conflict-resolution skills. Practical implications recommend adopting similar approaches in other educational institutions, supported by collaboration among schools, families, and communities to mitigate external factors that trigger bullying.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of teachers in shaping the character of early childhood at RA GUPPI Gondosari. Teachers have an important role iin shaping the character of early childhood through directed and loving education. At this stage, critical period of development, where basic values such as honesty, responsibility, empathy and discipline begin to form. Teachers not only act as educators, but also as role models who provide real examples of positive behavior. Through daily interactions, teachers help children understand social norms, manage emotions, and build healthy relationships with peers and the surrounding environment. Character education provided by teachers is often carried out through playing, telling stories, or fun group discussions. These activities are designed to instill moral values in a way that is relevant and easy for children to understand. Teachers also create a supportive learning environment, where children feel safe to explore, learn and interact. With a warm and caring approach, teachers help children develop self-confidence and the ability to recognize and overcome challenges.

Abstract

Parental guidance plays a crucial role in shaping the learning discipline of early childhood. Discipline in early childhood is one of the essential aspects of character and personality development. Children who are disciplined tend to follow rules more easily, take responsibility, and have good self-control. One of the influential factors in children's discipline is the guidance provided by parents. This study aims to analyze the influence of parental guidance on the discipline of early childhood at Pos PAUD Bina Hidayah Kluwih. This study employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires given to parents and educators at Pos PAUD Bina Hidayah Kluwih. The results indicate that children who receive active parental guidance exhibit a higher level of discipline compared to those who receive minimal guidance. Forms of guidance include setting clear rules at home, parents serving as role models, and the consistent application of consequences when children break the rules. Furthermore, effective communication between parents and children also plays a role in helping children understand the importance of discipline. Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that parental guidance has a significant influence on the formation of early childhood discipline. Therefore, raising awareness and encouraging active parental participation in guiding children is necessary to instill discipline from an early age. With optimal parental involvement, children can grow into individuals who are more organized, responsible, and possess good self-control. Keywords: Guidance, Parents, Discipline, Early Childhood

Abstract

This study aims to develop training for making chips from Eleocharis dulcis (suge) tubers as an effort to enhance the economic independence of the community in Domas Pontang Village, Serang Regency. The training approach used is the Learning Cycle 3E (Engagement, Exploration, Explanation) to improve participants' understanding and skills in processing Eleocharis dulcis tubers into value-added products. This training method is designed to provide hands-on experience for participants, facilitate the exploration of creative ideas, and offer technical explanations related to the effective and efficient process of making chips. The study's results are expected to enhance the community's skills in processing local raw materials into marketable products, thereby promoting economic independence through increased income from local product-based businesses. Furthermore, this study has the potential to introduce Eleocharis dulcis chips as an alternative healthy and nutritious food product for the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas buku cerita berilustrasi sebagai media pembelajaran yang interaktif dalam merangsang kreativitas dan meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa anak. Buku cerita berilustrasi memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menarik melalui kombinasi teks dan gambar visual yang mampu merangsang daya imajinasi serta memperkaya kosakata anak. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini mengamati interaksi Anak Usia Dini dengan buku cerita berilustrasi melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan guru, serta analisis dokumen pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ilustrasi dalam buku cerita tidak hanya membantu anak memahami cerita, tetapi juga mendorong mereka untuk menciptakan alur narasi yang baru, sehingga melatih pola pikir kreatif. Selain itu, kosakata dan struktur bahasa anak mengalami peningkatan signifikan melalui paparan teks cerita. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa buku cerita berilustrasi dapat menjadi alat pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mendukung perkembangan kognitif, bahasa, dan kreativitas Anak Usia Dini.
