Abstract

The word of Calligraphy comes from the French word which calligraphie where as the Greek word meaning called kalligraphia beautiful hand writing. Calligraphy obtain the highest position and is an expression of the spirit of Islam that is very typical. Calligraphy has two main attraction, namely the Al-Quran verses contained there in and the beauty style of letter. Calligraphy that has an appeal that is so high, it is necessary to use the maximum of calligraphy that for a kindness. With so many in this world polytheism Qur'anic verse about oneness of Allah has religious significance as a function to awaken mankind. For this reason, the authors are interested in creating works with the theme "On the Unity of Allah Arabic Calligraphy In serigraphy work". In the process embodiment of this work, the author show pure art work using screen printing graphic art with tools and material preparation phase, stabilization, and the realization and settlement. Writers produce 10 works of the oneness of Allah, among others Surah Al-Ikhlas, Paragraph 1-4), Shock (Az-Zalzalah), the Book of Allah and devotion (Surah Al-Baqharah, Paragraphs 1 and 2), Seawater (Surah Ar-Rahman , Paragraph 19), meeting of 2 water (Surah ar-Rahman, paragraph 20), Deeds (Surah As-Shafaat, Paragraph 96), Revelation and Revenge in the Hereafter (Surah Shaad, verse 66), Revelation and Revenge in the Hereafter (Surah Shaad, Paragraph 67), Revelation and Revenge in the Hereafter (Surah Shaad, verse 68), Faith (Letters Dzaryaat, Verse 20).Keywords: Calligraphy, the unity of Allah, serigraphy

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to visualize the parasitic plant as a medium expressed in serigraphy , taking philosophy from the traits of living parasite from other trees and controlling the tree. The method used in the creation of this final work is a production printing. Every work that writers create is intertwined with each other because it has the same themes, ideas and concepts. After going through a long process then created the final work of the author with 10 titles. : “the King.” “the Political Chair.” “Bekap.” “Unbalanced.” “Provocation.” “Rare.” “Mutually blame.” “Lose.” “Tenth,” “Pawn.” is expected to art students after. Those final works of arts is expected to enhance students appreciation and spirit to do better increating graphic art.Keywords: parasites, artwork, serigraphy techniques

Abstract

Safety-pin as a sharp thing has function in daily life. If we see from visual side small craft object has a abstract or unique shape however it has many benefit and function as a connector and unifier in the paint with tittle “Peniti Sebagai Simbol Kehidupan dalam Karya Seni Lukis”.Safety-pin is something to connecting two object which want to connected each other. In the daily life, we have many problem in culture and balancing of environment. Precisely, safety-pin as a symbol to unifier in life.In this final project, author focus on culture, nature and the safety-pin as a main object. Safety-pin is presented in surrealiesm by ignoring form of safety-pin. Then, authorturn every part from the object to make sensation which can understand by everybody. The word of art entittled 1). Belum Simbang; 2). Rumah Kita; 3). Mencoba Melindungi; 4). Grafik Naik; 5). Masih di Awan; 6). Terlahir Kembali; 7). Alam ku Ini; 8). Kedamaian; 9). Yang Tersisa dan 10). Merasakan Keindahan. All of those art presented many kind as a symbol of daily life.In conclusion, all of the word of art, safety-pin has important role in daily life, it become a connector in life contradiction , like a culture or balance of environment. In other way, it can be educational process to authoror societ who care about culture and environment.Key word: Safety-pin, symbol of life in paintin

Abstract

The making of the final work of graphic art, this serigraphy technique is to visualize the mandotory nature of Allah, including calligraphy and chat serigraphy techniques using several color prints besides that it is also useful for pairing concepts and techniques for working in graphic arts. There are several stages in carrying out this final work including preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization and completion stages. Thus, ten graphic art works that visualize the mandotory nature of Allah titles: first " Wujud ", second " Qidam ", third " Baqa ", fourth " Wahdaniah ", fifth " Qudarat ", sixth " Iradat ", seventh " Ilmu ", the eighth " Sama ", the ninth " Basar " and ten " Qalam ".Kata Kunci: Sifat Wajib Allah, arti , Seni Grafis.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the correlation the  result of study in lesson group and the score of art training (PLK) teacher FBS UNP Padang. This is correlation research which aims to find out the correlation between free variable with bound variable. Free variable is the result of group study of art students lecturing subject which and bound variable is PLK. The finding showed that there is significant correlation in degree 5% between study result of each group of (1) Mata Kuliah Keahlian Berkarya (MKB), (2) Mata Kuliah Keilmuan dan Keterampilan, (3) Mata Kuliah  Pengembangan Kepribadian (MPK), (4) Mata Kuliah Prilaku  Berkarya (MPB) with students PLK value and there is no significant correlation toward study result of (5) Mata Kuliah Berkehidupan Bersama (MBB) with students PLK value.

Abstract

The creation of this final work aims to visualize the life of the fishermen of West Sumatra in the works of graphic art. Part of life that the author wants to interpretedis about the poverty of fishermen. The technique used is relief print with the type of linoleum cut. Relief Print is a technique in which the surface lines or fields to be printed is higher than the surface of the cliché. Higher surface that receives the ink and then applied to the paper . Through relief technique with the type of linoleum cut print, the author produced ten graphic artwork with the title : Mengais Rezeki, Terbiasa, Tak Dihiraukan, Waktu Senggang, 1:10, Para Penakhluk, Tua, Maelo Pukek, Pulang Malang, and Harapan. Each work interconection each other and have a similar theme, ideas and concepts.keywords: Fishermen, High Print Technique (relief print), linoleum cut.

Abstract

The purposes of this final works of art are: 1) to defined bendi as a traditional transportation which is environment friendly art graphic creation, 2) to reveal the uniqueness of bendi that had been forgotten through graphic art creation. In creation process of graphic art, writer methodologically did some stage of exploration (seeking ideas) and implementation stages. Technique was using this final works of art is serigraphy. Along with technology progression, transportation tools are also had been developed. Although bendi is defeated by motor-vehicles, but it is still be used until now.Key word : graphic art, bendi

Abstract

Lotus flower are aquatic plants that live in swamps or pons. Lotus flowers mostly grow in muddy and dirty water, so the lotus flowers can grow well without being affected by the surrounding environment. The uniqueness and beauty of the lotus flower is very interesting to be used as an inspiration in creating artwork that is embroidered ribbon and embroidery techniques.This creation of works aims to visualize the beauty of the lotua flower. The technique used in ribbon embroidery using sewing machine techniques. After performing a series of long creation process, then creates 10 embroidered ribbon with titles : 1) Spirit, 2) Life journey, 3) Independence, 4) Compete, 5) Survive, 6) Never Give Up, 7) Allgiance, 8) End Story, 9) Leaders, 10) Together. These embroidery and embroidered works should be a good economic value and business opportunity.Keywords : Lotus, Embroidered Ribbon and Embroidery.

Abstract

The Formulation of the problem in this research is how the Implementation of Craft Sub Craft Material Learning in Adabiah 2 School Class Padang. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Which is knowing the Implementation of Class X Craft Sub Adabiah 2 Padang. The method used by the teacher is Problem Basic learning, a Method in Which the teacher provides learning to students related to real problems as a context for student more critical thinking and problem solving skills and gaining knowledge. Abstract

The creation of this final work aims to visualize the ferret behavior of human activities at night related to human behavior today into the form of graphic art works (linoleum cut). Showing a variety of human behavior that is mostly done today. The embodiment method of this final work goes through five stages: preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization, and completion.
