Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 mengharuskan semua satuan pendidikan termasuk SD untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran secara daring. Namun, belum siapnya SD menghadapi kegiatan pembelajaran daring tersebut, mengakibatkan perlunya pendampingan penggunaan LMS. Pengabdian bertujuan untuk membuatkan dan melakukan pendampingan Learning Managament System (LMS) pada guru Sekolah Dasar (SD). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan pembuatan LMS kepada guru SDN 3 Cicurug oleh tim pengabdian. Hasil pengabdian memberikan informasi bahwa adanya LMS dapat menunjang efektivitas kegiatan pembelajaran jarak jauh sebagai solusi dalam melakukan Pembelajaran Dari Rumah (BDR) selama pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate augmented reality of phoneme. This study followed an observation-discussion process in which the researcher provided applications and checklists to the participants. Participants were asked to operate the application and fill out a checklist where the researcher discussed the use of the application. The research results show that participants are satisfied with the UI display and want minor improvements so that the display is better and equipped with more complete information. while for UX, participants agreed that the application was easy to use and helped the learning process. From the trial, the researcher summarized several things that needed to be corrected and errors that had not been detected before, such as speech errors. The author presents follow-up results from the last part of AR application development. The results of this trial are the final stage which answers whether this application is feasible to be launched.

Abstract

Bahasa membuat ilmu pengetahuan dan sains menjadi berkembang sampai sekarang. Hal tersebut menjadi penting bagi seorang pendidik yang bertugas mengajarkan mata pelajaran bahasa pada siswa. Maka dari itu, lembaga pendidikan dan seorang pendidik memiliki kewajiban untuk meningkatkan atau mengupayakan keterampilan bahasa pada siswanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kebutuhan website sebagai media pembelajaran membaca dan menulis di SDN Laladon 02 Bogor, dan di akhir tahap penelitian akan dirancang dan dikembangkan media pembelajaran tersebut berdasarkan informasi-informasi yang sudah dikumpulkan. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan observasi dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif pada guru kelas 1, Ibu Siti Maria, S.Pd, dan guru kelas 2, Ibu Ernawati S.Pd. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa dari 43 siswa, masih ada 15 siswa yang belum bisa membaca dan menulis, 12 siswa belum bisa membaca dan 8 siswa sudah bisa membaca dan menulis dengan pendampingan khusus karena belum lancar dalam membaca. Hasil observasi ditemukan guru dalam mengajar masih menggunakan metode ceramah, jarang menggunakan media dan dalam mengajar hanya menggunakan buku paket dan LKS sebagai bahan ajar.

Abstract

In this digital era, social media has become an important communication channel for brands, institutions and agencies. Visual Identity Design is important in a brand. Apart from a brand, a visual identity is also needed for an official institution or agency. The function of visual identity design is as a sign of ownership, a means of identity, a promotional tool, a characteristic, and as a sign of the integrity of a brand or agency. The Communication and Informatics Service is an agency that is overseen by a government agency. This agency should build an identity with the aim of having more integrity, consistency and professionalism in the eyes of the public. Application of supergraphics, namely graphic elements that creatively combine visual elements with the aim of giving a strong impression, attracting attention and building a professional image of the Diskominfo agency from other agencies.

Abstract

Literasi keluarga merupakan faktor penting dalam membentuk generasi yang cerdas dan berdaya saing. Di Desa Pengasinan, Gunung Sindur, Kabupaten Bogor, peran ibu sebagai penggerak literasi keluarga sangat krusial dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi anak-anak di keluarga. Meski sebagian besar ibu di desa ini memiliki pendidikan yang cukup baik, pemahaman tentang literasi keluarga, mencakup baca-tulis, numerasi, digital, dan budaya masih terbatas. Hal ini memengaruhi kualitas literasi anak-anak di desa tersebut. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dilakukan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui kegiatan penguatan peran ibu sebagai penggerak literasi keluarga. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan dan keterampilan kepada ibu-ibu PKK di Desa Pengasinan mengenai pentingnya literasi keluarga dan cara mengajarkan literasi kepada anak melalui aktivitas sehari-hari yang menyenangkan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode interaktif dan aplikatif, seperti pembuatan buku dongeng interaktif. Dampak dari kegiatan pemberdayaan ini terlihat dari beberapa segi, yaitu: (1) aspek sosial, terjalinnya hubungan yang lebih erat antara ibu-ibu kader PKK dan masyarakat; (2) aspek ekonomi, berupa peningkatan kualitas pendidikan anak yang mendukung potensi ekonomi keluarga; dan (3) aspek pendidikan, berupa pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru bagi ibu-ibu dalam mendidik anak. Hasil signifikan dari kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya buku kumpulan cerita bergambar yang menarik dibaca oleh anak-anak.

Abstract

Techniques for translating a song are very varied. This is because the native language (TL) can be culturally different from the target language (TL). Translation does not only shift the source language to the target language, but translation is also closely related to socio-cultural influences and the formation of cultural identity between the two languages. Based on Newmark’s (1988) theory, this research aims to find the translation method used by translator Cyntia Maharani in translating a song entitled La La Lost You by Indonesian singer Niki. the research results explain that the translator used the semantic translation, literal and free translation, and aesthetic consideration. All the techniques are more oriented towards the target language (TL).

Abstract

The song Loneliness went viral after America's Got Talent gave it a Golden Buzzer for the performance of the song's owner, Putri Ariani. Behind the popularity of this song, there is a sad story that Putri experienced, such as being underestimated because of her physical limitations. In this case, a song lyric can have value and be able to attract attention if the choice of words is correct. As the function of lyrics and songs is to speak universally, they can express the contents of the creator's heart, and reflect the culture of various existing cultural diversity. Therefore, examining song lyrics can provide an academic narrative of the meaning contained therein. This research aims to explain the technique of translating English into Indonesian for the song Loneliness by Putri Arian. Using a theoretical approach to translation techniques from Newmark (1988) and Larson (1984), the song Loneliness was analyzed qualitative-descriptive. The results of research on the lyrics of the song Loneliness by Putri Ariani are the meaning of the song using adaptation techniques, semantic translation and the concept of lexical items.

Abstract

Literary translations throughout the world are mostly made from English, so a translator is needed to translate into other languages. Translation is defined as the process of transferring a source language message (TL) into the target language (TL) in an equivalent manner. Translation of the journal entitled "Fiction from the Periphery: How Dutch Writers Enter the Field of English Language Literature” discusses the analyzes carried out in translation, the translation methods and techniques applied. This analysis focuses only on Chap Fiction from the Periphery: Implications of the Dutch Case. The application of translation methods and techniques is used to produce reasonable, clear and appropriate translation. This article determines by what mechanisms Dutch writers overcome the obstacles they encounter at the macro, meso, and micro levels. This draws on sociological understandings of how writers from peripheral countries can enter internationally dominant centers, suggesting that such understandings are part of the same theoretical approach that explains the much more frequent flow from centers to peripheral countries.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the translation process by Emma Heesters in rending Anneth Delliecia’s song lyrics “Mungkin hari ini hari esok atau nanti”. The translation method in question places a strong emphasis on the source or target languages. Additionally, the author sought to ascertain the rationale behind the utilization of this specific translation methodology. This research method used descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach in other words this is to describe the data that has been obtained and also a case as a design. The lyrics of the song entitled mungkin hari ini esok atau nanti by Emma Heesters, are the subject of this analysis. The author gathers data through the process of documentation. This involves collecting the lyrics of the Indonesian and English versions of the song and listening to the song. The translation method employed in this instance is based on the V diagram theory, which was first proposed by Newmark. The results indicated that the predominant translation method employed was one that placed significant emphasis on the target language, with some portions of the lyrics also emphasizing the source language. It can be posited that Emma Heesters’ tendency to utilize a translation method that prioritised the target language was driven by the necessity to align the translation with the desired intonation or tone of the song.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere that supports the development of students' potential, including noble morals. Morals are the main indicator in assessing the quality of a person, where morals in accordance with Islamic guidance reflect a commendable personality. This study aims to develop morals teaching material supplements for elementary school students that focus on the formation of morals towards themselves and fellow humans. The research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: needs analysis, initial design, development through expert validation, implementation with practitioner suggestions, and final evaluation. The results showed that the developed teaching material supplement obtained feasibility scores from linguists (87%), material experts (91%), design experts (95%), and teachers (84%), with an overall average of 89%. The conclusion of this study is that the morals teaching material supplement developed is feasible to use to improve students' understanding of morals learning in elementary schools. Keywords: Moral Education; Teaching Material Development; Elementary School Abstrak Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar dan terencana untuk mewujudkan suasana belajar yang mendukung pengembangan potensi peserta didik, termasuk akhlak mulia. Akhlak menjadi indikator utama dalam penilaian kualitas seseorang, di mana akhlak yang sesuai tuntunan Islam mencerminkan kepribadian yang terpuji. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan suplemen bahan ajar akhlak untuk siswa sekolah dasar yang berfokus pada pembentukan akhlak terhadap diri sendiri dan sesama manusia. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, yang meliputi lima tahap: analisis kebutuhan, desain awal, pengembangan melalui validasi ahli, implementasi dengan saran praktisi, dan evaluasi akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suplemen bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memperoleh nilai kelayakan dari ahli bahasa (87%), ahli materi (91%), ahli desain (95%), dan guru (84%), dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 89%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa suplemen bahan ajar akhlak yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran akhlak di sekolah dasar.
