Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan dikatakan berhasil jika mampu memenuhi segala jenis kebutuhan informasi dari seluruh pihak yang membutuhkan, termasuk siswa, guru, orang tua dan Masyarakat (Siburian, 2019 : 209). Pengelolaan sistem informasi manajemen pendidikan yang efektif menghasilkan informasi akuntabel sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan yang reliabel (Colarika Zahro, 2023 : 58). Penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan penerapan sistem informasi manajemen pada lembaga pendidikan Buddha. Metode yang diimplementasikan pada kajian ini yaitu studi literatur. Pengumpulan data dalam studi literatur dilakukan melalui pengkajian dan pengolahan informasi relevan dari banyak sumber, berupa jurnal, buku, dan media elektronik. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan konsep dasar sistem informasi manajemen pendidikan, penerapan sistem informasi manajemen pada lembaga pendidikan Buddha dan tantangan dalam implementasi sistem informasi pada lembaga pendidikan Buddha.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effect of mindful breathing and mindful sitting practices on the academic stress of Nanyang Zhi Hui High School students in Medan. The population in this study was 82 high school students who had known and participated in the practice of mindful breathing and mindful sitting for 5 years. Data collection methods are questionnaires and documentation as support. Methods of data analysis using inferential statistics with a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression. The data that has been collected is tested for validity and reliability, which is then analyzed using inferential statistical methods. The results showed that the practice of mindful breathing had an effect on the academic stress of Nanyang Zhi Hui Medan High School students by 6.6%, the practice of mindful sitting had an effect on the academic stress of Nanyang Zhi Hui Medan High School students by 5.8% and the practice of mindful breathing and mindful sitting together (simultaneously) had an effect on the academic stress of Nanyang Zhi Hui High School students by 13.6%, with the variable of mindful breathing practice providing an effective contribution of 7.17% while the variable of mindful sitting practice providing an effective contribution of 6.41%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the practice of mindful breathing and mindful sitting has a significant effect on the academic stress of Nanyang Zhi Hui High School students.

Abstract

The importance of classroom interaction in EFL (English as a Foreign Language) instruction is occasionally lost on educators. The interaction in the classroom is crucial to assimilating and embracing the target language. As a result of successful information transfer from the teacher to the students, good contact can lead to an increase in students' language acquisition. Because the focus of the classroom interaction study is on how interlocutors make meaning of one another's contributions, the findings can be used as a diagnostic tool to identify issues with discourse management and crucial occurrences that learners confront. Researchers used qualitative methods, including discourse analysis and case studies. Smaratungga Buddhist College Study College was conducted this investigation. The researchers anticipate that learners will be motivated and inspired by the interactional situation. This study focuses on how the teacher creates interaction in the classroom. The success of all outcomes depends on how well students interact. Researchers agree with their actions while they are interacting with the teacher or one another.

Abstract

Keterlibatan siwa dalam pembelajaran telah menjadi perhatian utama dalam pendidikan abad-21. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan model cooperative learning terhadap keterlibatan siswa kelas XII dalam pembelajaran gama Buddha di SMA Negeri 1 Donorojo Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian inimenggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey dan teknik regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan analisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana, diperoleh nilai koefisien sebesar 0,596 sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa penggunaan model cooperative larning memberikan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 59,6% terhadap keterlibatan siwa, sisanya 40,4% dipengaruhi faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Hasil uji t menunjukkan nilai thitung sebesar 5,699 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0.05. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan penggunaan model cooperative learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterlibatan siwa kelas XII dalam pembelajaran agama Buddha di SMA Negeri 1 Donorojo Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025.

Abstract

Masyarakat Buddhis awal muncul di India utara pada abad ke-6 hingga ke-5 SM, di tengah dominasi sistem kasta Veda. Sangha, yang didirikan oleh Buddha Gautama, menjadi inti organisasi sosial egaliter yang menantang hierarki kelahiran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan proses awal terbentuknya masyarakat Buddhis, menganalisis landasan filosofisnya, serta memahami bentuk organisasi sosial dan nilai-nilai etika yang menopangnya. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis historis dan filosofis yang digunakan, dengan data primer dari Vinaya Pitaka dan Sutta Pitaka, serta data sekunder dari jurnal dan buku. Analisis tematik mengelompokkan temuan ke dalam tema historis dan filosofis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Sangha menjadi model egaliter sosial berdasarkan ajaran anatta, karuṇā, dan sīla yang menekankan keseimbangan moral serta tanggung jawab sosial. Struktur sosial Buddhis awal mengintegrasikan bhikkhu dan umat awam melalui etika kebersamaan, disiplin, dan dana, yang menjadi fondasi bagi organisasi sosial Buddhis berikutnya.

Abstract

Empowering Buddhist communities in the health sector includes a series of concepts, views, and practices that integrate Buddhist religious values with health aspects. The concept of health empowerment, as the main foundation, provides a philosophical basis for efforts to improve the welfare of Buddhist communities. Furthermore, the Buddhist concept of health introduces a holistic view that includes physical, mental, and spiritual aspects as interrelated elements in achieving optimal health. The Buddhist approach to health emphasizes the principles of morality, awareness, and wisdom in maintaining a balanced life. Health science according to Buddhism provides an in-depth knowledge base regarding the relationship between mind and body, as well as ways to maintain overall health. Empowering herbal plants for health is one of the real implementations through exploring the potential of plants as a source of natural medicine. Mental health aspects from a Buddhist perspective are the main focus of community empowerment efforts. By adopting meditation practices and understanding the concept of dukkha (dissatisfaction), Buddhist communities can manage stress and improve their mental well-being. Apart from that, the development of health sciences also raises ethical controversies that need to be accommodated through a Buddhist perspective, integrating advances in science with the moral values believed in by the Buddhist community. Strengthening public health from a Buddhist perspective encourages active community participation in maintaining and improving collective health. By understanding and applying Buddhist teachings, people can form a proactive mindset towards health, build solidarity, and realize shared prosperity. Empowering the Buddhist community in the health sector is a vehicle for implementing religious values in improving the overall quality of life.

Abstract

Objek penelitan ini adalah pertunjukan wayang Lakon Wahyu Darma sajian Ki Manteb Soedarsono yang diunggah pada tanggal 25 Desember 2016 di channel youtube ANDHIKA MULTIMEDIA new. Lakon Wahyu Darma dipilih karena memiliki keunikan. Meskipun lakon ini bersumber dari wiracarita Mahabharata, sikap Yudhistira dalam lakon Wahyu Darma yang telah diolah oleh dalang memiliki pesan-pesan ajaran Buddha sehingga menarik untuk diungkap maknanya. Penelitian ini dipaparkan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Permasalah yang telah dirumuskan dalam penelitian ini akan dijawab dengan bantuan perangkat analisis hermeneutika Paul Ricoeur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mengungkapkan sikap dan tindakan tokoh Yudhistira dalam lakon Wahyu Darma; 2) mengungkapkan makna yang terkandung dalam sikap dan tindakan Yudhistira. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa sikap dan tindakan tokoh Yudhistira dalam lakon Wahyu Darma memiliki kemiripan tema dengan dengan Vyāghrī-Jātakam yang reliefnya terpahat di Borobudur yaitu digambarkan memiliki sifat seperti bodhisattva yang karena belas kasih tak terbatasnya, mempersembahkan tubuhnya sebagai makanan bagi induk harimau betina yang sedang mempertahankan hidup dan menolong Kijang yang berjuang menghidupi anak-anaknya dari ancaman Harimau kelaparan. Sikap dan tindakan Yudhistira yang kedua adalah memaafkan Duryudana serta membebaskannya meskipun sudah berulang kali Duryudana dan para Korawa berusaha membunuh dan membuat Pandhawa menderita. Sikap seperti ini memiliki sinergitas dengan pandangan Agama Buddha seperti yang terdapat pada penggalan syair Karaniya Metta Sutta yaitu memancarkan pikiran kasih sayang tanpa batas. Kasih sayangnya terhadap segenap isi alam semesta tanpa benci dan permusuhan bagaikan seorang ibu yang mempertaruhkan jiwanya demi kebahagiaan anaknya yang tunggal.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between a quiet environment and learning motivation on the academic performance of SMP Insan Teratai students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a saturated sampling method involving 42 Buddhist students as respondents. Data was collected through a closed survey and analyzed using simple regression, multiple regression, classical statistical tests, and t-test techniques. The results showed that silent sitting and learning motivation affected students' learning behavior by 28.10% and 53.47%, respectively, simultaneously having an effect of 55.8%. It is proven that improving students' learning behavior can be achieved through a calm atmosphere and increased learning motivation.

Abstract

Due to a fact that the concept is new for both learners and educators, there are several roles that must be taken into account when conducting MBKM. Many issues were discovered as a result of observations performed on several campuses, including the following: 1) Students from multiple campuses took part of learning implementation during the MBKM activity, but many of them were involved in these activities and had varied interests. 2) The phenomenon I discovered regarding the MBKM's actions as though it had not been managed. The researchers pose the research question, "How is the management of the conduction of MBKM in Buddhist Colleges?" The data were collected, reduced, and then evaluated using qualitative research data analysis. Due to a number of issues, including a lack of understanding of MBKM literacy, implementation goals and objectives, a lack of resources, and the fact that many lecturers do not completely grasp how to use MBKM, it appears to be too difficult for Buddhist institutions to implement. The table above also provides information on the requirements for joining MBKM for the reader's understanding. The duties of leaders involve not only acquiring this data but also organizing the next program. Before starting the steps, the leader must understand the directions. Planning, organizing, coordinating, and assessing are the managerial functions, on the other hand, according to academics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh ajaran Buddha terhadap kebudayaan dan gaya hidup masyarakat Indonesia. Buddhisme, yang masuk ke Nusantara pada abad ke-5 Masehi, telah memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk norma dan nilai sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dengan menganalisis berbagai teks dan sumber akademis untuk memahami integrasi prinsip-prinsip Buddhis dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa ajaran inti Buddhisme, seperti Empat Kebenaran Mulia dan Jalan Mulia Berunsur Delapan, tercermin dalam nilai-nilai masyarakat Indonesia seperti kesederhanaan, kasih sayang, dan harmoni dengan alam. Selain itu, penelitian ini menyoroti interaksi dinamis antara nilai-nilai tradisional Buddhis dan modernitas di era kontemporer. Peran komunitas Buddha dalam melestarikan kearifan lokal dan mempromosikan kohesi sosial melalui inisiatif seperti pelestarian lingkungan dan kerukunan antaragama juga dikaji. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa nilai-nilai Buddhis berkontribusi secara positif dalam memperkuat filosofi "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" Indonesia, mendorong perdamaian dan saling menghormati dalam masyarakat yang pluralistik. Temuan ini menegaskan relevansi berkelanjutan ajaran Buddha dalam menghadapi kompleksitas kehidupan modern sambil menjaga warisan budaya.
