Abstract

Natural Science is one of the subjects that has a close relationship with students' daily lives. In the process of learning science in the classroom, the main focus lies on experiments that link students' prior knowledge with the material to be learned. The purpose of this approach is to motivate students in learning as well as improve their learning outcomes and collaboration skills. This study aims to investigate the effect of the Children Learning In Science (CLIS) model on learning outcomes and collaboration skills of grade 4 students at UPTD SDN 1 Srengseng, Krangkeng District, Indramayu Regency. The method applied in this research is quantitative, with an experimental approach that produces data in the form of numbers. Data were collected through written tests and questionnaires. The results of the analysis showed an influence on student learning outcomes, which is reflected in the variable coefficient of 0.026, which is smaller than 0.05, in science learning using the CLIS model. Meanwhile, for the collaboration skills variable, the result shows 0.160 > 0.05, which indicates that there is no significant influence on collaboration skills. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Children Learning in Science (CLIS) model has a positive impact on students' learning outcomes in science, although it has no effect on their collaboration skills.

Abstract

Leadership development in elementary school children is a crucial aspect of 21st-century education because it encompasses not only leadership skills but also self-management, effective communication, decision-making, and fostering social responsibility from an early age. This study aims to systematically review theliterature related to elementary school curriculum development focused on fosteringleadership in children. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR)with reference to the PRISMA 2020 protocol and the PICOC framework to formulatethe research objectives. The search process was conducted through variousinternational and national databases (Scopus, ERIC, ScienceDirect, Taylor &Francis Online, Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Garuda) with a publication range of2020–2025. Of the 1,245 articles found, only 10 articles met the inclusion criteria forfurther analysis. The results of the study indicate that emerging research themesinclude school-based leadership programs, transformational leadership, distributedleadership, service-learning, expectation-based curricula, and arts and music approaches. Curriculum development methods also vary, ranging from project-based learning, service-learning, to learning-to-lead models. The research contexts included rural elementary schools, international schools, and schools with formalleadership programs. Methodologically, experiments, large-scale surveys, phenomenological studies, systematic reviews, and mixed methods were used. Thisstudy emphasizes the importance of integrating leadership into the elementarycurriculum and opens up opportunities for further research to strengthen the

Abstract

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of grade IV students of SD 2 Majasari in the 2024/2025 academic year in mathematics learning and the limitations of teachers who only use lecture and discussion models. This study aims to determine the application of problem solving learning models to improve students mathematics learning outcomes. To find out the improvement of students mathematics learning outcomes. The research used is classroom action research (PTK) design Kemmis & Mc Taggart in two cycles that go through four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were grade IV students with a total 29 students. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations and written test. The results of this study show that the results of observations on the application of the problem solving learning model in cycle I obtained an average value of 3.1 with a percentage of 77.5% in the good category and increased in cycle II to 87.5% with an average value of 3.5 and included in the very good category. Learning outcomes obtained by students in cycle I with an average value of 60.2 with a percentage 44.8% increased to 79.7 with a percentage of 86.3% in cycle II. Therefore, it can be concluded that using the problem solving leaarning model can improve students mathematics learning in grade IV of SDN 2 Majasari.

Abstract

This research was conducted using the classroom action research (CAR) method. The progress in learning and storytelling skills is still below the Minimum Completeness Criteria and success indicators. The study included 142 students from SDN 2 Tanjungsari, ranging from grade I to grade VI. 36 sixth-grade students were part of the sample, with an equal number of males and females. The researcher collected data using tests and observations. The research instruments were observation sheets and test sheets. The analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of this study showed that the students' learning outcomes in cycle I had a mastery level of 27.78%. In cycle II, there was an improvement in student learning outcomes with a mastery level of 52.78%. In cycle III, the mastery level reached 83.33%. This indicates that the students' learning outcomes had met the applied mastery criteria of 80%. The study also observed students' learning activities. In cycle I, the students' activities scored 19 with a percentage of 1.58%, which was still categorized as poor. In cycle II, there was an improvement in students' learning activities with a score of 27 and a percentage of 2.25%, categorized as moderate. In cycle III, students' learning activities had a score of 41 with a percentage of 3.42%, which was categorized as good. Research using Problem-Based Learning can enhance learning outcomes and student engagement in Social Studies for fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Tanjungsari in Indramayu District.
