Abstract

This research seeks to ascertain the effect of Entrepreneurial Experience and the development of human resource capabilities on employee performance running a business on culinary traders at USU Tax Street Jamin Ginting Medan City. This study was put together utilizing quantitative techniques with causal associative research. The study's population consists of employees who run a business at culinary traders at the USU Tax Jalan Jamin Ginting Medan City and according to the Slovin formula's computation, it is determined that the study's sample consisted of 71 respondents with the use of purposive sampling techniques to obtain accurate and representative information from the population. This study's data collection method made use of a questionnaire media distributed directly using Gform. The results showed that partially entrepreneurial experience has a favorable and substantial impact on employee performance, partially the development of HR capabilities has a favorable and substantial impact on employee performance and simultaneously entrepreneurial experience and the development of HR capabilities have a favorable and substantial impact on employee performance running a business on culinary traders at USU Tax Jalan Jamin Ginting Medan City. In light of the test findings of the Coefficient of Determination (R2), it is found that the Adjusted R Square value is 0.545 (54.5%) which describes that the value of the variance owned by employee performance from the entrepreneurial experience variable and the development of HR capabilities is 54.5% With the rest of 45.5% is impacted by additional variables or aspects that this study did not look at or explain.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Pengaruh Online Customer Review dan Layanan Cash on Delivery (COD) terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Secara Online di Marketplace Shopee Pada Generasi Z di Prodi Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua mahasiswa aktif Prodi Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera utara tahun 2024 yang diambil dari PDDikti (2024) dan jumlah populasi adalah 1.162 orang. Penentuan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin dan mendapatkan hasil 92 responden. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan tingkat signifikan 0,05 dan hasil dari penelitian ini menujukkan secara parsial dan simultan Online Customer Review, Cash on Delivery berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian.

Abstract

Reducing the stunting rate is still a national priority at this time, one of the important pillars that can be strengthened is monitoring and evaluation. One way is through early detection using the application as a monitoring medium. The implementation is the Posyandu which incidentally is the spearhead in the field, in order to strengthen the Posyandu efforts, the Posyandu needs to be supported to be economically productive and able to use the application. The method used is entrepreneurship training and application use, application use assistance, and entrepreneurial assistance. The results of this activity are able to use applications so that they are able to detect stunting toddlers early, then Posyandu has a productive business which part of the profits are used to help the operation of Posyandu

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan dalam mengetahui Pengaruh Affiliate Marketing dan Layanan Program Gratis Ongkir pada Keputusan Pembelian Di Aplikasi Tiktok Pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Medan Area. Penelitian ini disusun menerapkan teknik kuantitatif dengan penelitian asosiatif kausal. Adapun sampel penelitian berjumlahkan 99 Mahasiswa FEB UMA. Adapun metode mengambil sampel pada riset ini menerapkan metode Non-Probability Sampling dengan pendekatan purposive sampling dengan kriteria yaitu calon responden merupakan mahasiswa FEB Universitas Medan Area yang sudah membeli di aplikasi Tiktok lebih dari 2 kali. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan menggunakan langkah penyebaran kuesioner dan data dapat dilakukan pengolahan dengan SPSS Versi 25. Dari hasil temuan menurut parsial Affiliate Marketing memberi pengaruh signifikan dan positif pada keputusan pembelian, secara parsial layanan program gratis memberi pengaruh signifikan dan positif pada keputusan pembelian Di Aplikasi Tiktok, dan secara simultan Affiliate Marketing dan layanan program gratis ongkir memberi pengaruh signifikan dan positif pada keputusan pembelian Di Aplikasi Tiktok Pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Medan Area. Selain itu, nilai koefisien determinasi pada kolom Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,190 (19,0%), yang mendeskripsikan bahwa nilai varians yang dimiliki oleh keputusan pembelian dari variabel Affiliate Marketing dan layanan program gratis ongkir yaitu sebesar 19,0% dan dengan hasil sisa 81,0% ditentukan dari pengaruh berbagai faktor dan variabel lainnya yang tidak dikaji dan diterangkan pada riset ini.

Abstract

Indonesia is a nation with vast and abundant natural resources, making it worthy of being recognized as a country rich in both natural and human resources. These resources have the potential to bring significant benefits to Indonesia's economy. However, this potential has not been fully realized due to the country's inability to utilize its wealth efficiently.  The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of self-efficacy on the success of café businesses in Tanjung Morawa District and to examine the influence of motivation on the success of café businesses in the same area. The independent variables in this study are self-efficacy and motivation, while the dependent variable is business success. The study utilizes a sample of 30 cafés operating in Tanjung Morawa District. The findings indicate that the self-efficacy variable has a positive and significant effect on the success of café businesses in Tanjung Morawa District. Additionally, motivation also has a positive and significant impact on the success of café businesses in the district.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of product quality, price, and promotion on consumer purchase decisions at Noah Fashion Medan, a thrift clothing store. A quantitative approach was used, involving a survey of 100 respondents. Validity and reliability tests confirmed the data’s accuracy. Multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 26 was conducted to analyze the data. The F-test results showed that product quality, price, and promotion simultaneously have a significant impact on purchase decisions (p < 0.05). Partial t-tests revealed that each variable positively and significantly influences purchase decisions, with p-values below 0.05 and t-values exceeding the critical value. The findings suggest that improving product quality, competitive pricing, and effective promotion—especially through social media—are crucial for influencing consumer purchasing behavior at Noah Fashion. This study provides practical insights for thrift store marketers to enhance their marketing strategies.

Abstract

Pada era bisnis online yang terus berkembang, pengembangan model kewirausahaan berbasis teknologi, atau technopreneurship, telah menjadi sasaran dan pusat perhatian. perkembangan teknologi informasi dan internet telah mengubah cara kita melakukan bisnis. Artikel ini akan membahas bagaimana technopreneurship menjadi kunci untuk memanfaatkan peluang-peluang baru di dunia digital. Dalam pembahasan ini, kami akan menjelaskan pentingnya technopreneurship dalam konteks bisnis online, meliputi peran inovasi teknologi, penggunaan platform online, e-commerce, dan aplikasi mobile. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi pustaka (library research) yaitu metode dengan pengumpulan data dengan cara memahami dan mempelajari teori-teori dari berbagai literatur yang berhubungan dengan penelitian tersebut. Pengumpulan data tersebut menggunakan cara mencari sumber dan kemajuan serta pendapatan kuliner dan makanan yang ada di Megar Park Kepten Muslim Medan dan menkontruksi dari berbagai sumber pendapatan, harga makanan, minuman serta apa saja yang menjadi fasilitas di Mega Park tersebut.

Abstract

The world of education is expected to have a big role in overcoming problems related to unemployment in Indonesia. The entrepreneurship course aims to foster students' tendency to open their own business (entrepreneurship) in the future. Many factors can influence students to become entrepreneurs in the future and the aim of this research is to analyze the influence of motivation and interest in entrepreneurship on opening a new business among students at the Faculty of Psychology, University of North Sumatra. This type of research is quantitative with an associative approach. The research population was students from the Faculty of Psychology, University of North Sumatra for the 2019 academic year, namely 242 people and 70 people using the Slovin formula were taken as the research sample. Data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires and documentation. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis and previously a classical assumption test was carried out. The results of the research show that motivation and interest in entrepreneurship have a partial or simultaneous influence on opening a new business among students at the Faculty of Psychology, University of North Sumatra.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and competence on employee performance at PT. Bratachem Indonesia Medan. The background of this research is based on the phenomenon of delays in task completion, low adherence to work norms, and the lack of optimal communication and analytical skills among some employees. This research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive-associative method. The population consists of all permanent employees of PT. Bratachem Indonesia, totaling 69 respondents, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 23. The results show that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a regression coefficient of 0.322, while competence also has a positive and significant effect with a regression coefficient of 0.588. The simultaneous test (F-test) resulted in an F-value of 112.809, which is greater than the F-table value of 3.315 with a significance level of 0.000, indicating that organizational culture and competence together significantly affect employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.773 indicates that 77.3% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by organizational culture and competence, while the remaining 22.7% is influenced by other factors outside this study. These findings confirm that a strong organizational culture and adequate competence are essential factors in improving employee performance. Therefore, the company is advised to strengthen productive work culture values while developing training and mentoring programs that can enhance employee competence.
