Abstract

This study begins with the researcher's assumption that besides facilities and systems effective learning, there are other factors that participate in influencing students of SMAN 1 Mataram to be favorite school to other schools, namely the influence of the internal factors of the students themselves, such as learning motivation of students. Therefore the researcher feels it is necessary to investigate further, to ensure that the achievement or intellectual intelligence of students at SMAN 1 Mataram is built from within the students' personal. This study uses quantitative research with a non-experimental approach. The population was students of SMAN 1 Mataram, the sample was taken using random class. Data analysis uses the product moment correlation statistical formula. The results obtained by the relation of variables between students' learning motivation (X) with intellectual intelligence of students (Y) obtained by Fcount of 17.41 with Ftable of 3.34 at a confidence level of 0.05, it can be said that there is a significant relations where Fcount > Ftable. In other words the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and (Ho) is rejected. This can be explained that in addition to facilities and adequate learning environment conditions, students of SMAN 1 Mataram have a good level of motivation, so that it can affect the intellectual intelligence of students who study in the environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of P5 as a strengthening of Civic Culture and the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of P5 activities as a strengthening of Civic Culture at MAN 2 Model Mataram. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Informants in this study were determined by purposive sampling technique. To collect data using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. To test the validity of the data using three types of triangulation, namely source, time, and method. The results of this study indicate that, the form of implementation of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project (P5) as a strengthening of Civic Culture at MAN 2 Mataram Model is: 1). Visiting cultural sites, 2) Oral literature, 3) Traditional food, 4) Traditional games, 5) Regional songs, 6) Folklore, 7) Traditional musical instruments, 8) Traditional clothing, 9) Customary law, 10) Religious moderation, 11) Sasak traditional dance, and 12) Sasak traditional wedding procession. Supporting factors for the implementation of P5 activities include the competence of teachers as P5 implementers, support and cooperation of teachers/staff/community, availability of a place to implement P5 activities, availability of implementation facilities, participation and enthusiasm of students and the availability of implementation guidelines and P5 teaching modules. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor in the implementation of activities is the lack of support from parents in the implementation of P5.

Abstract

This study aims to comparatively examine the role of Scout and Flag-Raising Troop (Paskibra) extracurricular activities in strengthening students’ nationalism. The research employed a quantitative approach using a causal-comparative design. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation involving students who were both active and inactive in Scout and Paskibra activities. The sample consisted of 98 students selected proportionally based on their participation. Data analysis was conducted using the Mann-Whitney U test due to the non-normal distribution. The results revealed that participation in Paskibra had a significant positive impact on students’ nationalism, whereas participation in Scout activities showed no significant effect. However, students actively involved in Paskibra had relatively higher nationalism scores compared to other groups. These findings emphasize that the effectiveness of extracurricular activities in fostering nationalist character is highly influenced by the quality of student engagement and the nature of the program. Therefore, structured, consistent, and value-oriented extracurricular programs such as Paskibra can serve as an effective strategy to strengthen students' nationalism in schools.

Abstract

Guru PPKn di SMAN 9 Mataram belum mengembangkan materi dan pembelajaran Sisitem hukum dan peradilan nasional dalam lingkup NKRI. Materi dan pembelajaran yang digunakan salama ini adalah materi dan pembelajaran yang berbais pada buku teks yang berlaku secara nasional. Hal ini menjadikan materi dan pembelajaran kurang kontekstual sehingga kurang menarik dan sulit dipahami. Oleh karena itulah kegiatan pengabdian yang diusulkan ini sangat penting dilakukan guna memberikan pendampingan pada guru PPKn di SMAN 9 Mataram untuk mengembangkan materi dan pembelajaran sistem hukum dan peradilan nasional dalam lingkup NKRI, agar kontekstual dan menarik. Kegiatan pengabdian in akan bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PPKn, khususnya tentang materi sistem hukum dan peradilan nasional dalam lingkup NKRI. Target luaran kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal nasional ber-ISSN. Pendekatan/metode yang akan diguanakan adalah pendampingan dengan tahapan kegiatan: (1) penyampaian materi dan diskusi (2) pendampingan, (3) evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian telah dilaksanakan dengan lancer dan mencapai hasil sebagaimana diharapkan, yaitu tersususunnya materi ajar, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, dan LKP.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan kondisi saat ini yang sedang melanda berbagai tempat khususnya di Kota Mataram. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menjadi salah satu pilihan yang tepat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik dalam memperoleh ilmu dari pendidik. Dalam proses pembelajaran tentunya yang dituntut tidak hanya kemampuan pengetahuan peserta didik, akan tetapi kemampuan sikap dan keterampilan juga harus dapat terpenuhi meskipun melalui pembelajaran daringsebagaimana tujuan dari pembelajaran saat tatap muka langsung. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi para guru di sekolah mitra tentang pembelajaran berdiprensiasi sesuai kurikulum merdeka. Selain itu, guru memiliki konsep pembelajaran yang dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran secaraa holistik sehingga hak siswa dapat terpenuhi sebagaimana mestinya. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam pengabdian ini adalah melakukan serangkaian kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini diikuti oleh 20 guru PPKn di Kota Mataram sebagai peserta. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan pengetahuan guru MGMP PPKn SMP Negeri se Kota Mataram. Sebelum kegiatan sebagian besar guru belum begitu memahami terkait pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Setelah kegiatan, semua memiliki pemahaman baik mengenai hal tersebut dan berkomitmen untuk melakukan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi ke depannya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison between the Merdeka Curriculum and the 2013 Curriculum on enhancing students' creativity. The research employed a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto design. The sample consisted of two classes selected through purposive sampling technique, namely class VIII A with 25 students and class IX A with 27 students. The research instrument was a validated and reliable creativity enhancement questionnaire. Data were analyzed through prerequisite tests (Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test and homogeneity significance test), followed by hypothesis testing using One-Way ANOVA. The analysis results showed a significance value of 0.017 < 0.05, with a mean score of students' creativity enhancement of 44.120. These findings indicate that there is a significant difference between the Merdeka Curriculum and the 2013 Curriculum in terms of enhancing students' creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to explore teachers’ perspectives and challenges in integratinglocal wisdom into Civics Education (PPKn) learning at SMPN 21 Mataram. Using aqualitative descriptive method, the research involved four informants: a Civicsteacher, the principal, the vice principal of curriculum and students. Data werecollected through interviews, observation and documentation and analyzed usingMiles, Huberman and Saldana’s interactive model. The findings indicate thatteachers perceive local wisdom as essential for contextualizing PPKn learning andstrengthening students’ character values. Local traditions such as Bau Nyale andPeresean were integrated as learning resources to internalize Pancasila values.However, challenges include limited teaching materials, time constraints and thedifficulty of aligning all PPKn topics with local cultural contexts. The studyconcludes that integrating local wisdom enriches Civics Education but requiresadequate support, innovative strategies and collaborative efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the cultural saturday program in fostering multiculturalism among students at SMKN 1 Lopok, Sumbawa Regency, and to identify the factors that influence its implementation. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological design was used, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants consisted of the school principal, teachers, and students. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was tested through technique triangulation, source triangulation, and time triangulation. The results showed that the cultural saturday program has significantly contributed to fostering multiculturalism through regular Saturday activities that reflect the cultures of the three major ethnic groups in West Nusa Tenggara: Sasak, Samawa, and Mbojo. These activities include: (1) Gemar Gatra gymnastics integrated with traditional movements and games, accompanied by traditional music instruments; (2) student cultural exhibitions featuring items such as woven bags with Sumbawan patterns, Sasak traditional house miniatures, and Mbojo cultural posters; (3) traditional costume competitions displaying songket fabrics and distinctive ethnic attire like sapuq and lambung (Sasak), lamung pene (Samawa), and rimpu (Mbojo); and (4) the performance of regional songs such as Sabalong Samalewa (Sumbawa), Budaye Sasak (Lombok), and Nangi Dana Tambora (Bima). However, there are factors that influence the implementation of the cultural saturday program at SMKN 1 Lopok, Sumbawa Regency, which are divided into two main categories, namely: 1) Supporting factors, consisting of internal factors (human resources) and external factors (community and parental involvement). 2) Inhibiting factors, consisting of internal factors (limited facilities and infrastructure) and external factors (social environment and local cultural conditions).

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang upaya sekolah dalam penguatan karakter toleransi antara siswa di SMPN 9 Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian yaitu guru PPKn, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, guru Pendidikan Agama Hindu, guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen dan guru Bimbingan dan konseling di SMPN 9 Mataram, sedangkan informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Kepala Sekolah, wakasek kurikulum, Ketua Osis dan Siswa di SMPN 9 Mataram. Cara pengumpulan data melalui Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian dilakukan dengan beberapa cara yaitu Reduksi Data, Penyajian Data, Penarikan Kesimpulan, dan Validasi Data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa upaya sekolah dalam penguatan karakter toleransi antara siswa di SMPN 9 Mataram dilaksanakan dengan cara Integrasi dalam pembelajaran, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan. Faktor pendukung upaya sekolah dalam penguatan karakter toleransi antara siswa yaitu kemauan dari siswa, prasaran & sarana, dan kerjasama antara pendidik, adapun faktor penghambat upaya sekolah dalam penguatan karakter toleransi antara siswa yaitu lingkungan keluarga.
