Abstract

This study discusses the role of amphibious aircraft in promoting the concept of sustainable tourism in Indonesia. Amphibious aircraft emerged as an innovative solution to the problem of accessibility to remote islands in Indonesia. However, the integration of amphibious aircraft into the Indonesian tourism sector and its alignment with the principles of sustainable tourism is a complex problem. This study uses a literature review research methodology. The analysis method used is descriptive qualitative. The descriptive qualitative research method is a method of seeking knowledge about previous research through books, national and international journals. During the review process, researchers look for similarities, find differences, provide opinions, summarize and combine into a new concept. This study aims to contribute knowledge and recommendations to policy makers, tourism operators, and environmental activists to support sustainable development in the Indonesian tourism sector. It is hoped that this study can provide a comprehensive picture of the potential benefits, challenges, and impacts of amphibious aircraft in promoting sustainable tourism practices in Indonesia, as well as identifying gaps and opportunities for future research.

Abstract

Method is a comprehensive plan to provide language learning materials on a regular basis, with no contradictory part, and all are based on a particular approach. The purpose of this study is to improve the Aeronautical Knowledge of Vocational Education Cadets in the Official Aviation School. The object chosen in this study is the Vocational Education Cadets of Official Aviation School. Based on the results of this study, it is proven that the direct learning model is able to increase Aeronautical Knowledge, which is indicated by the improvement of cadets achievement.

Abstract

Keselamatan penerbangan merupakan komponen vital dalam industri penerbangan yang tidak hanya menjadi tanggung jawab internal industri penerbangan, tetapi juga memerlukan partisipasi aktif masyarakat, khususnya mereka yang tinggal di sekitar bandar udara. Minimnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap budaya keselamatan penerbangan menjadi salah satu isu yang perlu ditangani secara edukatif dan preventif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka semangat memperingati Hari Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia ke-80. Kegiatan penyuluhan keselamatan penerbangan bagi anak usia dini diselenggarakan sebagai bagian dari rangkaian acara yang tidak hanya bersifat seremonial, tetapi juga edukatif.  Metode pelaksanaan meliputi survei awal, pre test, seminar edukatif, pemutaran video keselamatan, simulasi prosedur dasar, dan evaluasi post test. Luaran dari kegiatan ini mencakup publikasi pada media social Poltekbang Palembang, Laporan hasil PkM, serta publikasi pada jurnal PkM. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini, masyarakat dapat menjadi agen perubahan dalam membangun budaya keselamatan yang lebih kuat di lingkungan sekitar bandara, sekaligus memperkuat sinergi antara institusi pendidikan dan otoritas penerbangan.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of green technologies into circular economy systems as a pathway to advancing sustainable innovation. The objective was to synthesize existing literature to identify key strategies, challenges, and implications across diverse industrial and geographical contexts. A narrative review methodology was employed, drawing on peer-reviewed sources indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. The results highlight four main themes: product design and eco-innovation, renewable energy and photovoltaics, biomaterials and lignin applications, and sustainable business models. Evidence shows that lifecycle assessment tools and decision-making frameworks enhance eco-design. Advancements in solar technologies promote decarbonization but face storage and recycling challenges. Lignin valorization offers significant promise yet is constrained by technical and scalability issues. Circular business models provide systemic benefits, but their effectiveness varies depending on regulatory environments, cultural acceptance, and financial structures. The review concludes that strengthening design strategies, renewable energy deployment, biomaterial innovations, and business model adaptation are essential to overcoming systemic challenges and achieving sustainable economic transitions.

Abstract

Urban traffic congestion is a major challenge for logistics efficiency, particularly in rapidly growing cities like Bogor, Indonesia. This study aims to quantify the impact of traffic congestion on logistics operational costs by analyzing congestion levels and cost components in urban freight transport. A quantitative approach was used, involving 50 logistics fleet respondents from Bogor. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires measuring daily congestion duration, travel time, average speed, fuel consumption, driver wages, and vehicle maintenance costs. Statistical analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results reveal that logistics vehicles experience approximately 95 minutes of congestion daily, with travel speeds reduced to 13.5 km/h. The study finds a strong, positive, and statistically significant relationship between congestion and logistics costs (regression coefficient = 0.674, p < 0.001), with congestion explaining 45.5% of cost variation. Increased fuel consumption, labor costs, and maintenance expenses are the main contributors to operational inefficiencies. These findings underscore how urban congestion increases the cost to serve and diminishes logistics reliability. The study suggests that policymakers adopt adaptive strategies such as smart routing, freight dedicated lanes, and urban consolidation centers. It also calls for greater integration of logistics planning in urban transport systems to enhance resilience and sustainability. These findings contribute to the growing discourse on urban freight efficiency in Southeast Asian cities.

Abstract

Background: The work environment is a critical determinant of employee performance, particularly in air cargo logistics where accuracy, speed, and consistency are essential. Despite the increasing focus on technological and automation strategies, environmental conditions remain relatively underexplored. Objective: This study aims to examine the influence of workplace environmental factors on employee performance in the warehouse division of PT Aerojasa Cargo, Jakarta. Method: A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted with 55 respondents selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a structured Likert-scale questionnaire measuring five environmental factors (cleanliness, lighting, air circulation, workspace layout, and team collaboration) and five dimensions of performance (accuracy, timeliness, quality, quantity, and neatness). The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. Results: The findings reveal that 69.9% of the variance in employee performance is explained by workplace environmental conditions (R² = 0.699; p < 0.01). Cleanliness and team collaboration emerged as the strongest predictors across all performance dimensions, while lighting and workspace layout also showed significant contributions. Conclusion: A conducive work environment plays a pivotal role in enhancing warehouse employee performance. Practical implications include continuous investment in cleanliness programs, ergonomic workspace redesign, and participatory evaluation mechanisms. Future research should adopt multi-site and longitudinal approaches to strengthen generalizability.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of work motivation and work environment on employee performance within PT Aerojasa Cargo's warehouse division. Recognizing the strategic importance of human capital in logistics, the research aims to evaluate how these two variables interact to affect operational outcomes.Using a quantitative methodology, the study surveyed 55 employees selected through Slovin’s formula. A structured Likert-scale questionnaire measured three core constructs: motivation, work environment, and performance. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0, employing descriptive statistics, multiple regression analysis, and validation metrics such as Cronbach’s alpha and R². Key results show that both motivation and work environment significantly impact employee performance (p < 0.05), with a combined explanatory power of 83.3% (R² = 0.833). The work environment demonstrated a slightly higher beta coefficient (β = 0.417) than motivation (β = 0.286), suggesting that physical and social workplace conditions are marginally more influential. Descriptive findings also revealed demographic patterns relevant to performance, including age distribution, education level, and gender roles. These findings align with existing literature and underscore the synergistic importance of fostering motivation and creating supportive work environments. The study concludes that HR managers in logistics should implement dual-focused strategies to enhance both motivational drivers and workplace quality. Such strategies may include high-performance work systems, ergonomic improvements, and continuous feedback mechanisms. This research contributes to the field of organizational behavior by offering empirical support for integrated HRM approaches in logistics, providing a framework for future policy and academic inquiry.

Abstract

The rapid growth of urban logistics has intensified concerns about sustainability, making Electric Freight Vehicles (EFVs) a critical innovation for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving urban air quality. This study aims to provide a narrative review of the factors influencing EFV adoption, with a focus on technological, economic, infrastructural, and policy dimensions. Literature was systematically retrieved from major databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, and Google Scholar, using targeted keywords related to EFVs, sustainable logistics, charging infrastructure, and adoption policies. Inclusion criteria emphasized empirical studies, case analyses, and decision-making frameworks relevant to urban freight logistics. Findings reveal that technological barriers, particularly limited battery range and insufficient charging networks, remain significant impediments to EFV adoption. Economic considerations, such as high initial investment and retrofitting costs, continue to deter smaller logistics firms, although long-term savings in energy and maintenance strengthen the economic rationale. Policy measures, including subsidies, tax incentives, and Low Emission Zones, have proven effective in accelerating adoption, particularly when aligned with infrastructure development. Cross-country comparisons demonstrate uneven progress, with Norway, the Netherlands, and China leading, while many developing regions lag due to systemic and financial constraints. The discussion emphasizes the need for holistic strategies that integrate policy, infrastructure, and technological innovations. Future research should explore longitudinal policy impacts, innovative charging solutions, and behavioral aspects of adoption to inform more effective pathways toward sustainable urban logistics.
