Education is the primary need of every human being that can improve human dignity and dignity itself. Moreover, in the 21st century, education faces a severe challenge, namely the challenge of globalization, which requires every human being to master knowledge and technology, for those who do not have education, they will naturally be excluded from global competition. One of the steps that can be taken to advance the education sector is by innovating in the delivery of learning materials. This research aims to; 1) Developing interactive learning media in economic learning to increase the interest in learning of grade X students of Stabat Preparation High School; 2) Knowing the response of students to the use of interactive learning media in economic learning increases the interest in learning of grade X students of Stabat Preparation High School. This research is a Research and Development (RD) research that adopts the development of Borg Gall. The subjects in this study were grade X students of Stabat Preparatory High School with data collection instruments used in the form of questionnaires given to media experts, material experts, and educators in the field of economic studies to test the quality of interactive learning media in economic learning and student response questionnaires to determine the interest and response of students to the learning media developed. The type of data produced is qualitative data that is analyzed with assessment category criteria guidelines to determine product quality.

Consumable goods are household waste that is no longer used, consumable goods can include plastic bottles, cardboard or household equipment that is no longer used. The use of consumable media for vocational school students in this research is to increase student creativity. This research aims to determine: (1) The process of using consumables as a medium for increasing the creativity of class 10 students in Indonesian history subjects at SMK Pelita Bulu Cina (2) obstacles in using consumables as a medium for increasing the creativity of class 10 students in the field of learning. Indonesian history lessons at SMK Pelita Bulu Cina (3) Supporting factors in the use of consumables as a medium for increasing the creativity of grade 10 students in Indonesian history subjects at SMK Pelita Bulu Cina. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research, data analysis is carried out using descriptive techniques. The research results show that the activity of utilizing consumables through Indonesian history subjects at SMK Pelita Bulu Cina can be used as a medium to increase student creativity both motorically and cognitively and students are able to develop a work according to their own thoughts and imagination.

The utilization of consumables as an educational tool presents an avenue for fostering student creativity and engagement in teaching and learning endeavors. Research conducted at SMK Swasta Pelita Bulu Cina focuses on harnessing consumables to enhance student creativity and serve as educational aids, thereby promoting eco-friendly learning mediums. The research methodology incorporates training, practical application, and socialization efforts. Findings indicate that integrating consumables into learning activities enlivens classroom dynamics, capturing students' interest and attention, particularly when they actively participate in crafting their educational materials. This approach empowers teachers to innovate within the classroom, fostering a more dynamic learning environment and mitigating student disengagement. Consequently, consumables offer a viable strategy for enhancing student involvement and preventing monotony in the learning process.

Suku Mandailing merupakan salah etnis yang mendiami beberapa wilayah diKabupaten Tapanuli Selatan dan Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Etnis MandailingMempunyai banyak perjalanan kisah sejarahnya, hingga sampai saat ini EtnisMandailing telah menyebar luas keberbagai wilayah yang ada dinusantara. Adayang tetap bertani sebagai mata pencahariannya dan ada pula yang bekerja diluardari pertanian. Penyebaran dari suku Mandailing ini salah satunya adalahdikecamatan Bandar Provinsi Sumatarea Utara. Perpindahan Etnis Mandailing keKecamatan Bandar mengandung nilai-nilai filosofi yang masih dipercaya olehmereka hingga saat ini. Adapun nilai filosofi budaya Mandailing yaitu hagabeon,hasangapon, hamaraon dan sahala.bertambahnya penduduk yang cukup pesatbukan hanya menimbulkan tekanan terhadap lahan pertanian, namun juga disektorperekonomian dan pembangunan. Selama penjajahan yang dilakukan kolonialBelanda, mereka diharapkan tidak kekurangan beras di perkebunan. Penelitian iniadalah penelitian sejarah yang bersifat deskriptif sehingga memberikan gambaranyang lebih mendalam mengenai gejala dan kejadian sosial yang terjadi padamasyarakat suku Mandailing , khususnya sejarah perpindahan suku mandailingkekecamatan Bandar. Perpindahan orang-orang mandailing ke Kecamatan Bandarmerupakan realitas sosial dan fakta sejarah dalam konteks lokal yang tentunyamenjadi referensi dalam penulisan sejarah lokal. This study aims to find out how the application of ethics carried out by parents in shaping character in children in Padang Reba. Ethics today has indeed changed a lot compared to the past due to the rapid development of the times. The application of ethics by parents is expected to be able to form character in children from an early age for the survival of children in the future. The lack of ethics in today's children makes researchers interested in researching the application of ethics by parents in children. Through a qualitative approach method with data collected through case studies, observations and interviews. The results of the study found that the role of parents is very important in shaping character in children. The example of parents is needed in educating children to form character in the child. A good and positive application will produce good results in the child's character. Parents must apply ethics as early as possible for a better future for their children, with strict supervision and good example and imparting ethical values will make children have quality character.

Learning Difficulties Are A Condition In The Teaching Process Where Students Cannot Learn Optimally. This Study Has A Significant Purpose To Find Out How Much The Influence Of Difficulties On Social Studies Learning Materials At Smpn 1 Hinai In Influencing Student Learning Outcomes. The Purpose Of This Research Is Also To Find Out What Factors Cause Learning Difficulties In Students At Smpn 1 Hinai. This Research Is A Qualitative Research That Uses A Research Method Using A Descriptive Approach. The Results Of This Study Showed That Students At Smpn 1 Had Learning Difficulties Due To Several Factors, Including Internal Factors And Also External Factors. Internal Factors Are The Lack Of Motivation Given By Teachers And Parents And The Lack Of Interest Of Students In Participating In Social Studies Learning Activities Which Are Considered Boring Due To The Lack Of Tools And Props In Delivering The Material. Meanwhile, External Factors Are That Teachers Are Still A Little Confused In Delivering Learning Materials In Accordance With The Curriculum That Runs Due To The Lack Of Learning Books And Tools That Support The Learning Process. Therefore, The Role Of Teachers Is Very Influential In Supporting Students' Learning Interests And Overcoming Students' Learning Difficulties. Teachers Are Expected To Be Able To Convey Assignments In An Interesting Way To Arouse Students' Interest In Learning.

This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of YouTube as a tool to stimulate students' interest in learning sociology. Employing a qualitative research design, data collection methods include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Probability sampling, specifically simple random sampling, is utilized to select research participants, including Class XI students from SMA Negeri 1 Bahorok. Researchers administered a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements, both positive and negative, focusing on four indicators of learning interest. The questionnaire aims to gauge students' responses to the use of YouTube in the learning process. Evaluation results reveal a significant increase in student interest, with an average score of 73.0% indicating satisfaction with YouTube-based learning media. Hence, it can be concluded that incorporating YouTube into sociology lessons effectively enhances learning interest among Class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Bahorok.

Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas metode field trip virtual (kunjungan museum virtual) terhadap pemahaman konsep peninggalan sejarah Indonesia pada siswa sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui sejauh mana pengalaman belajar virtual dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, minat belajar, dan kemampuan mengidentifikasi artefak sejarah. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi-eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest kontrol. Sampel terdiri dari 60 siswa kelas V yang dibagi secara acak ke dalam kelompok eksperimen (kunjungan museum virtual) dan kelompok kontrol (pembelajaran konvensional). Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes pemahaman konsep, lembar observasi keterlibatan, dan angket minat belajar. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan analisis deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan signifikan pada skor pemahaman konsep dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (p < 0,05). Selain itu, kunjungan museum virtual meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan minat belajar terhadap materi peninggalan sejarah. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa field trip virtual merupakan alternatif efektif untuk memperkaya pengalaman belajar sejarah di sekolah dasar, terutama ketika kunjungan fisik terbatas. Implikasi praktis dan rekomendasi untuk integrasi teknologi dalam kurikulum sejarah juga dibahas. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan mengeksplorasi variasi platform virtual dan dampaknya terhadap retensi jangka panjang siswa serta perbedaan antar kelompok usia.

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran pelestarian warisan budaya pada siswa di Kabupaten Langkat melalui sosialisasi pemanfaatan museum sebagai laboratorium pembelajaran budaya. Museum memiliki peran strategis sebagai sumber belajar kontekstual yang mampu mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai sejarah dan budaya lokal ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui metode sosialisasi, pemaparan materi edukatif, diskusi interaktif, serta pengenalan fungsi dan koleksi museum yang relevan dengan materi pembelajaran. Materi sosialisasi difokuskan pada pemahaman peran museum sebagai media pembelajaran budaya, penguatan identitas lokal, serta pentingnya pelestarian warisan budaya di tengah arus globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan sikap apresiatif siswa terhadap keberadaan museum dan nilai budaya yang terkandung di dalamnya. Siswa mulai memahami museum tidak hanya sebagai tempat penyimpanan benda bersejarah, tetapi juga sebagai laboratorium pembelajaran yang mendukung pembelajaran bermakna. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam upaya pelestarian warisan budaya serta pemanfaatan museum secara berkelanjutan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah.

Eksistensi budaya Melayu di Kabupaten Langkat menghadapi tantangan degradasi identitas akibat minimnya internalisasi nilai-nilai lokal dalam proses pedagogis di sekolah. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalisasi kompetensi profesional guru dan calon guru melalui penguatan konten kurikulum berbasis kearifan lokal. Strategi pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui instrumen workshop partisipatif yang mencakup identifikasi jejak sejarah lokal, rekonstruksi nilai filosofis Melayu, dan simulasi integrasi konten ke dalam perangkat pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kapasitas kognitif peserta dalam memetakan potensi budaya Melayu Langkat sebagai sumber belajar yang relevan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini berhasil merumuskan paradigma baru bagi pendidik mengenai urgensi adaptasi teknologi dengan tetap berlandaskan pada etika budaya lokal. Secara teoretis, pengabdian ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan kurikulum berbasis tempat (place-based education) merupakan instrumen krusial dalam menjaga keberlanjutan warisan budaya di tengah dinamika pendidikan modern. Implementasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan dalam penyusunan muatan lokal yang lebih sistematis di Kabupaten Langkat.
