Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing emotional dependence in early childhood within the Gajahwong School Community in Yogyakarta. A qualitative design was employed, involving four children aged 3–4 years as subjects and parents and teachers as informants. Participants were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews, then analyzed thematically by identifying, categorizing, and interpreting emerging patterns, and presented in narrative form supported by previous research.The study's results indicate that children's emotional dependence is influenced by two primary factors: family and socioeconomic circumstances, and psychological factors. Family factors include insecure attachment patterns, insufficiently emotionally responsive parenting, and parents' limited understanding of how to regulate their children's emotions under socioeconomic stress. Empirical findings indicate that children may exhibit behaviors such as prolonged crying when separated from their parents, difficulty adapting in the classroom, a tendency to cling to teachers as substitute attachment figures, and spontaneous emotional reactions when facing problems with peers.In addition, children's psychological profiles are marked by excessive separation anxiety and a limited capacity for independent self-regulation. The intensity and manifestation of these behaviors vary among children, indicating that emotional dependence is not a fixed condition but is shaped by dynamic interactions between family relational experiences and the child's psychological state. Based on these findings, collaborative, context-sensitive interventions are needed, such as parenting education programs attuned to families' socioeconomic circumstances, emotion-regulation training for parents and educators, and adjustments to the school environment to better support children's transitions and emotional adaptation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the competence of teachers in applying Islamic storytelling methods at ABA Nyai Ahmad Dahlan Kindergarten as part of early childhood Islamic character formation. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, and data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis followed three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that teachers possess a solid understanding of Islamic values and are able to integrate these values effectively into the stories they convey. They demonstrate skills in composing stories, selecting appropriate supporting media such as hand puppets, books, and videos, and using voice intonation to maintain children’s attention. Children’s responses to this method were highly positive, reflected in their enthusiasm during storytelling sessions and observable improvements in attitudes after the stories. Despite these strengths, the study identified several challenges, including limited teaching aids, less conducive classroom conditions, and minimal formal training opportunities for teachers. Nevertheless, teachers show strong commitment to enhancing their storytelling competence through self-reflection, sharing best practices with colleagues, and independently seeking additional learning resources. This study concludes that teachers’ competence in Islamic storytelling plays a significant role in supporting the formation of children’s character. To optimize this contribution, continuous professional development and adequate institutional support are necessary. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for the systematic development of Islamic character education in early childhood education programs.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of transformational leadership at SDN Sukasari Cirebon, with the aim of improving teacher performance, staff motivation and parental participation in supporting educational success. The principal plays a strategic role in implementing the four dimensions of transformational leadership: idealistic influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration. This approach not only improves discipline and teaching quality but also creates an environment conducive to innovation and collaboration between teachers and staff. Through interviews, observations and document analysis, this study found that transformational leadership has a positive impact on teachers' morale and creativity, parents' active involvement in the education process and improved student learning outcomes. In addition, principals play an important role in facilitating teachers' professional development through training and supervision. Nevertheless, there are some challenges such as lack of teacher discipline and parental involvement that still require further attention. The results show that transformational leadership can be effectively implemented in the context of primary education to drive positive change and improve learning quality sustainably.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pola pengobatan pada pasien diare balita di Instalasi rawat jalan Rumah Sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Kota Yogyakarta periode Juli – Desember 2015 dan mengetahui kesesuaian pemilihan obat diare balita di Instalasi rawat jalan Rumah Sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Kota Yogyakarta dibandingkan dengan Panduan Sosialisasi Tatalaksana Diare Balita. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non eksperimental secara retrospektif mengenai gambaran penatalaksanaan pasien diare balita di Instalasi rawat jalan Rumah Sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Kota Yogyakarta periode Juli – Desember 2015. Penggunaan obat pada penderita diare adalah prebiotik (89,39 %), zink (51,51 %), oralit (22,72 %), dan antibiotik (10,6 %). Peresepan terbanyak adalah probiotik karena kandungan prebiotik terbukti dapat menurunkan durasi dan parahnya diare. Kesesuaian pemberian obat diare pada balita dibandingkan dengan buku Panduan Sosialisasi Tatalaksana Diare Balita diketahui 63 kasus sesuai (95,45 %) dan 3 kasus tidak sesuai (4,55 %). Ketidaksesuaian ini disebabkan karena peresepan hanya terdapat antibiotik saja tanpa pemberian oralit, zink maupun prebiotik.

Abstract

Diabetes melitus merupakan salah satu ancaman kesehatan bagi manusia dan yang paling banyak di derita adalah diabetes tipe II. Diabetes di Puskesmas Mlati II merupakan salah satu penyakit yang masuk ke dalam sepuluh besar penyakit tahun 2016 dan menempati posisi ke tujuh dengan jumlah 1500 kasus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik pasien penderita diabetes melitus tipe II berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan usia serta untuk mengetahui pola peresepan obat diabetes pada pasien rawat jalan. Metodologi dari penelitian ini adalah non eksperimenta l dengan pengumpulan data secara retrospektif dari rekam medis Puskesmas Mlati II. Data yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini sejumlah 72 data, kemudian akan dianalisa dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa gambaran karakteristik penderita DM Tipe II di Puskesmas Mlati II berdasarkan jenis kelamin perempuan (72.22%) dan laki-laki (27.78%). Sedangkan berdasarkan karakteristik usia, rentang usia 36-45 tahun sejumlah 13.89%, 46-55 tahun 26.39%, 56-65 tahun 36.11%, dan ≥66 tahun 23.61%. Pola peresepan obat DM Tipe II kombinasi antara golongan sulfonilurea dan biguanida lebih banyak diresepkan (51.39%) dibandingkan obat tunggal golongan biguanida (48.61%). Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penderita DM Tipe II di Puskesmas Mlati II didominasi oleh perempuan (72.22%) dan rentang usia 56-65 tahun (36.11%). Sedangkan pola peresepan obat DM Tipe II adalah kombinasi antara golongan biguanida dan sulfonilurea sebanyak 51.39%.
