Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the application of the Independent Curriculum in Buddhist Education Subjects and to find out the creativity of Buddhist students through the application of the Independent Curriculum in Kaloran District, Temanggung Regency. This research is qualitative research with a multi-site design. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study were selected by purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis uses concepts developed by Milles and Huberman. The results showed that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SD Negeri 1 Kalimanggis and SD Negeri 1 Gandon still experienced various obstacles, namely teachers had not fully switched from the old way of teaching the curriculum to the Independent Curriculum. However, teachers try to present interesting and creative learning through various learning media and attend various trainings. Student creativity is characterized by students actively participating, asking, discussing, and finding solutions to things or questions given by the teacher during the learning process. Creativity is also reflected in the activities of the Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) Project in schools which include handicrafts, dance and karawitan arts, planting vegetables, and making spinach chips. Keywords: Independent Curriculum, Student Creativity ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Buddha dan mengetahui kreativitas siswa agama Buddha melalui penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di-Kecamatan Kaloran Kabupaten Temanggung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain multi situs. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan konsep yang dikembangkan oleh Milles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di SD Negeri 1 Kalimanggis dan SD Negeri 1 Gandon masih mengalami berbagai hambatan yaitu guru belum sepenuhnya beralih dari cara mengajar kurikulum lama ke Kurikulum Merdeka. Akan tetapi, guru berusaha menyajikan pembelajaran yang menarik dan kreatif melalui berbagai media pembelajaran dan mengikuti berbagai pelatihan. Kreativitas peserta didik ditandai dengan peserta didik aktif berpartisipasi, bertanya, berdiskusi, dan mencari solusi atas suatu hal atau pertanyaan yang diberikan guru selama proses pembelajaran. Kreativitas juga tercermin dalam kegiatan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) di sekolah yang meliputi kerajinan tangan, kesenian tari dan karawitan, penanaman sayur-sayuran, serta pembuatan keripik bayam. Abstract

Learning about cultural diversity in elementary schools plays an important role inshaping students’ understanding of national identity. However, in reality, students’understanding of Indonesia’s cultural diversity is still not optimal. This is caused bythe use of learning media that is not yet varied and has not been able to activelyengage students, resulting in low student interest in participating in the learningprocess.This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the LUMBU(Ludo Mengenal Budaya) learning media on the topic of Indonesian cultural diversityfor fifth-grade elementary school students. The method used in this research isResearch and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model.The results of this studyindicate that the developed LUMBU (Ludo Mengenal Budaya) learning media iscategorized as highly feasible and effective. The average validation results frommedia experts and language experts reached 90%, which falls into the “veryfeasible” category. Student responses showed a percentage of 93% in the small-scale trial and 90% in the large-scale trial, while teacher responses reached 100%in both stages, all of which are categorized as very feasible. The effectiveness ofthe media was measured through pretest and posttest results, where the small-scaletrial showed a result of 90%, and the large-scale trial showed a result of 78%, bothcategorized as effective.
