Abstract

Education plays an important role in developing individual potential and shaping students’ character, particularly in the context of Islamic education which emphasizes the formation of polite character as a reflection of faith. This study aims to examine the relationship between Aqidah Akhlak learning and the development of students’ polite character in the fourth grade of MIS Mishbahul Aulad, Sukabumi City. This study employed a quantitative approach using an ex post facto method, involving 30 students as research subjects. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The data were analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, and linearity tests, as well as simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the research instruments were valid and reliable, the data were normally distributed, and there was a linear relationship between the two variables. However, the regression analysis indicated a significance value of 0.087 > 0.05, meaning that there was no significant relationship between Aqidah Akhlak learning and the development of students’ polite character. Nevertheless, a positive regression coefficient of 0.276 was obtained, with an R Square value of 0.101, indicating a contribution of 10.1%, while the remaining variance was influenced by other factors, both internal (religious understanding, motivation, and self-concept) and external (family, school, and community environment). Thus, Aqidah Akhlak learning still plays a role in supporting the development of students’ polite character, although it does not show a statistically significant relationship. Therefore, it needs to be continuously optimized and contextualized in the learning process.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan peran pemuda dalam tata kelola budaya lokal, khususnya dalam pelestarian pacuan kuda tradisional di Desa Kalimporo, Kabupaten Jeneponto. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pendekatan partisipatif berbasis pemberdayaan pemuda, yang melibatkan pemuda sebagai subjek aktif dalam setiap tahap kegiatan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu: sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Hasil dari sosialisasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat, terutama pemuda, mengenai urgensi pelestarian pacuan kuda tradisional. Dalam tahap pelatihan dan pendampingan, peserta diberikan materi tentang tata kelola budaya lokal dan dilatih dalam penyusunan rencana kegiatan (activity plan). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman teoretis peserta, yang tercermin dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test, serta kemampuan peserta dalam menyusun rencana kegiatan yang lebih terstruktur. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas pemuda dalam perencanaan kegiatan budaya dan memperkuat peran pemuda dalam melestarikan tradisi lokal. Program ini diharapkan menjadi model pemberdayaan pemuda dalam pelestarian budaya lokal yang dapat diadaptasi di daerah lain.

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is the embodiment of a health-oriented lifestyle within the culture of people, families, and communities, with the objective of enhancing, preserving, and safeguarding their physical, mental, spiritual, and social well-being. Gunung Menang Village confronts issues pertaining to environmental hygiene and the effects of both environmental and personal sanitation. This research seeks to analyze the many educational initiatives implemented to mitigate these issues in this town. This research employs a health education approach including counseling and collaborative activities. The study's results demonstrate that education including the roles of families and communities significantly enhances knowledge about the necessity of health and hygiene maintenance. This research advocates for a better organized and collaborative educational program among schools and communities in Gunung Menang Village

Abstract

ABSTRACTPhilosophy is an extensive science, meaning it is closely related to our daily lives, and philosophy is the driving force of our daily lives as individual human beings and as collective human beings in the form of a society or nation. Philosophy of science is a philosophical reflection on the nature of science which will not recognize a stopping point towards achieving the goal, namely truth and reality. Understanding the philosophy of science means understanding the intricacies of science so that its most essential aspects and foundations also understand the perspective of science, the possibility of its development, and its interweaving between one branch of science and another. The research approach that researchers use in writing this scientific work is a type of library research. Philosophy is a science that seriously studies the true nature of everything. Science is a method of thinking objectively in describing and giving meaning to the natural and moral world to organize and systematize. Knowledge indicators are: It is accumulative, and its truth is not absolute but objective. There are six phases of scientific development: The Pre-Ancient Greece Phase, the Ancient Greek Phase, the Medieval Age Phase, the Renaissance Age phase, the Modern Age phase, and finally, the Contemporary Age phase.
